We were referred to Reliable Home Comfort by a neighbor and everything was great. They were able to come out the first work day after our AC went down, whereas another referred AC company said they couldnt come out before two weeks. Edison diagnosed and explained the problem clearly, answered my questions, and came the next day to complete repairs. He even discovered a small leak in the process and repaired that at no extra cost. The price of the repairs seemed to be right on average. Highly recommend.

Aside from the scheduling for the asbestos removal, the removal and installation for the new furnace went really well. Willy and his crew arrived, removed the old heater and stalled the new heater with the new digital thermostat. They did a wonderfully spectacular job and cleaned up after themselves. Thomas showed up on time, the day after my AC stopped and solved the problem in 30 minutes. These guys are great. I recommend them to friends.

Reliable did a great job on a big and long job for us: 5 unit, 1 heat exchanger Mitsubishi ductless minisplit on a single level house and complete Enphase grid-connected solar installation, including an expensive meter spot move mandated by city. Any customers who want something like this can expect that it will take many months because the process requires a lot of permitting and planning. The whole process required about 6 months of time following an initial visit and quotes, but only about 10 days of work at the house. The job included quite a lot of electrical work to move the meter (the house power entry point) and to install an outlet for future electric car. The rest of the complicated process was used by lots of permitting and communication with the city and inspectors which was nearly totally handled by Reliable. The quality of work on the ductless HVAC system looks excellent and passed 3rd party inspection on first visit. The solar capacity allowed by the city is probably too small, since it was based on low usage over the past year, but it can be expanded later with more usage. We are very satisfied with the result and thank the whole crew at Reliable and their subcontractors.

Really great install of my new heat pump (on the roof) and my first service went just as well, very thorough and Thomas answered all of my questions and made suggestions to keep my unit running smoothly. Seriously, who else offers scheduled maintenance included with the purchase of a new unit!?! Still super impressed and glad I found someone I can trust.

Edison and his crew installed a Mini-split system I had replace my old Central Heat Pump. They did quality and professional work from inception of the project till the end. Cleaned up after all work like professionals do, and even found me a good dry wall and painter to finish up the few areas that needed it after the install was complete. I had a great experience with Edison and RHC when they installed 4 ductless minisplits for me. Edison was very communicative and iterated over the quote with me multiple times until I was comfortable and ready to move forward. The work was scheduled quickly and every day the installers came on time, worked quickly and respectfully, and cleaned up the areas when they were done. One of the units was defective and upon unpacking it, they were upfront about the issue and had a new one for me the next day. Even with that, they finished a day ahead of schedule! They made sure to explain how to operate the units and Edison checked in afterwards to make sure everything went smoothly.All in all, RHC was super professional, transparent, and executed quality work. Once you work with them, youll know that you can really trust them!

We got estimates for a whole house ductless Mitsubishi minisplit system from four different companies. Edison from RHC made the best impression with a very detailed proposal and we accepted it. Looking back, we definitely made the right choice. Throughout the process of planning and installation, everything was handled very professionally and all questions were always answered. Since this was a complex project (five indoor units + outdoor condenser), they reserved an entire week for the installation to make sure everything can be done right, even in case of unexpected complications. They worked hard and finished a day early. Testing and inspection passed with flying colors and the system has been working great from day one. I would highly recommend RHC for any similar project!

I recently had a 24,000 BTU Trane/Mitsubishi mini-split system installed for my family room by Reliable Home Comfort. Not an easy installation. Edison and his installers were efficient and professional and the follow through from beginning to end was one of the best.

I replaced my 20 plus year old American Standard furnace and ductwork last year but kept the existing A/C unit and coil. This year, I decided to be proactive and replace the leaking A/C unit (R22 - Obsolete). I contacted the contractor who installed my furnace for a quote along with several others via Home Advisor since I wanted to hear from vetted contractors.I also went directly to the American Standard website as well. I contacted Reliable Home Comfort from there.Edison, the owner, came out to my home. We talked about the project, pretty straight forward, a simple swap out. I already had 3 estimates and wanted to get one from the Authorized American Standard contractor.To be honest, I thought his estimate would be to the high end. But in actuality, his was the most competitive. We scheduled the job, his guys came out right on time. They were pleasant and professional and did a fantastic job making sure everything was to my satisfaction. And just in time for a heat wave!After all this... My mother-in-law’s central AC broke down in the middle of summer during a heatwave. I contacted Reliable Home Comfort, and Edison responded the same day, also to note this was over the weekend. He arranged a visit for the next day and quickly fixed the immediate issue to get the AC running. Noting the units age (which was quite old), he recommended a maintenance service to address additional issues to extend the life of the unit as long as possible. It started with Edison taking the time to evaluate the proper size and configuration needed for my home. I previously had a much larger unit that was constantly cycling off/on in short periods. He noticed the issue and made sure that we had a proper configuration.The entire crew showed up at the appointed time and started to change out my 20 yr old compressor system. All were professional, and kept my house clean beginning till the end.If you have a system that uses the traditional compressor system, you need to learn more of the new heat pump HVAC systems. Not only will you save in energy cost but the variable speed heat pump is amazing. Super quiet, I had to walk outside to see if the unit was running. The variable force air unit slows down once you reach the desired temperature, you can hardly notice it being on. The best is, I got rid of the gas furnace for heating. The heat pump will do the job extracting heat from the outdoor air and bringing it to the force air unit to warm up the house.Reliable Home Comfort can be trusted for a quality installation. Miguel performed a thorough maintainance of our HVAC SYSTEM they installed last year. Service included cleaning of the inside & outside unit. The OWNER actually showed up for a check out on a coupon no less.Very competent and NO hard sell....what a treat!found out the wiring had been disconnected at panel.Hooked up the wiring and said the unit worked fine. We got our HVAC system 2019 and we only one maintenance done since today! Although, we did not have any issues we needed a maintenance check. We called on a Monday and were able to schedule a maintenance check for that Friday. Customer service was great and we were explained what would be happening. Our technician was Miguel Martinez. He was absolutely friendly, informative, considerate and very professional. He wore booties when in side the house and took them off every time he went out. He constantly kept us updated and informed us of what he would be doing. We were very happy with the service, that we are now members of the service plan with Reliable Home Comfort.

Edison at Reliable Home Comfort did an amazing job. We needed our old AC (25 yrs old) and gas furnace (40 yrs old) upgraded. We received fair quotes, which included some repairs underneath our mobile home. We picked a new AC unit and we picked a heat pump unit to replace the gas furnace. While waiting for the permit, Edison personally replied to all my messages for updates in a timely manner. Once permits received, work was scheduled within a few days and everything was completed in one day. We were very pleased with the team on site, not only was everything completed in one day, which in itself is amazing, they also left our driveway and the areas they worked around cleaner than it was before they started, including when they needed to work in the home by the electrical panel, and installing the new thermostat. The heat pump unit works well, its amazing how our home is now evenly heated throughout, no hot spots as with the gas furnace. Cant wait to check out the AC in the summer. Everyone was very friendly, respectful, and professional, from the owner, to the office staff, to the workers on site. We totally would recommend Reliable Home Comfort. Reliable Home Comfort did work on 2 homes. One was installing a combo heating and air conditioning system. One was installing a heating system. They were professional in every way. They set appointment time and were on time. They were dressed neat and clean including mask. They worked quickly. They cleaned up every day. When the inspector came for final review for dual system he said the work was “beautiful” and “some of the best work I have ever seen”. I give Reliable the highest recommendation.

Edison and his team were professional and courteous. We installed 2 minisplit AC units and the units work very efficiently for both cooling and heating. I wanted to have the water condensation directed into a rain barrel and the crew did their best to do so (only one pipe unfortunately due to the narrow sloping of the roof). They did forget to seal off a few areas but they were quick to come back to finish the job. All in all, very satisfied with the job and product.

My 3 year old unit stopped blowing cool air. I called the original installer and they made 2 service calls over 2 days totaling 5.5 hours and installed a new pump and thermostat. BUT it again blew warm air on the next day. Reliable Home Comfort came and had the system working in 30 minutes. They replaced the the thermostat which was defective. They will be the service company forever.

Edison and his team took care of all the necessary permitting and inspections, which passed on the first try without any issues. The end result is that we now have beautifully functioning central air with a smart thermostat. I love being able to control the heat/air from my phone, whether I’m in bed at night or in the office (able to turn on the air for my dogs during a heat wave). The Reliable team left our house as clean as it was before the work started and got the job done (including asbestos abatement) in three days. We couldn’t be happier with the work.

Had a really great install of a Mitsubishi ductless/mini-split system in my condo by Reliable Home Comfort. The new system replaced a loud central air unit that was installed in the 80s. I now have a super quiet system with three different independent zones. Really huge upgrade in comfort and energy efficiency.After the initial estimate was approved, the team worked with my HOA to ensure they were able to follow all their requirements.On the actual day of the install, the team showed up on-time and was respectful of my home. I had an in-ceiling cassette installed and two of the more conventional mini-spit heads put in. It required some creative thinking to get everything in the right place with all the tight corners. They did an incredible job hiding all the new lines even though it took them a bit more effort.They took out and disposed of the old condenser unit and replaced it with a heat pump. Not an easy task from my second story unit.Coordination by the office was also stellar. They took care of all the permits and scheduled everything efficiently. Post-install inspection by HERS and city were all completed in a matter of minutes.The office even provided a super clear invoice with model numbers that I could submit for rebates with Pasadena Water and Power (PWP).I also really appreciated the responsiveness and flexibility in communication through phone, email, and text messages.If you ever need an HVAC replaced or installed in the Los Angeles area, definitely have Edison and team take care of it.

I called today requesting information on a job that was done previously by another company. The woman that answered the phone was very informative and incredible helpful. She was answered all my questions. I can not express how appreciative I am. I will absolutely use them in the future.

I had been looking in vain for someone to repair a ten year old mini-split when I stumbled on a Reliable Home ad in an advertising mailer. Mr. Rossman himself came out, and we discussed various options. I decide not to repair the system but to install a new one given the age of the old one. I appreciated that Mr. Rossman did not engage in any hard-sell tactics. He gave me the options and sent quotes as promised, then left it to me. His techs who did the installation were pleasant and efficient. They cleaned up perfectly after the job, including repairing a hole they had to drill. They also made sure I could operate the unit. Two days later, Mr. Rossman followed up with a call inquire about my level of satisfaction and to answer any questions. In these days when customer nonservice is so often the norm, it was a pleasure to work with a business that actually exemplifies customer service, from the owner, to the rep who answers the phone, to the techs. I would gladly call them again should my needs require it!

Our AC quit and we had Reliable Home Comfort come out to give an estimate. Turns out we needed a whole new system. Edison was able to give us quotes for several different options and was very patient as I kept emailing him and calling him with different questions. He was very knowledgable and honest about the different systems and what would work best for our house.In addition to be very responsive, he was very reliable. He told us what day work would start on our house and his crew showed up as promised. His work crew was very respectful and hard working. They got everything done in one day instead of the 2 - 3 we had planned on. They even managed to put a vent in a really hot room that previously did not have access to our central AC. We were thrilled.With the job completed, Edison called afterwards to follow up and make sure we were happy. When we asked him to come out and shorten a pipe that was a few inches too long he came out on a Saturday to do so.I wish every company had the work ethic and response that Edison and Reliable Home Comfort had. I have a “long, skinny” house in Huntington Beach, CA, that was built in 1979. The 2-story house has a flat roof and no attic. I purchased the home in late Dec 1999. The house was usually cold. A few years later I replaced the old gas furnace with a new one, but it still wasn’t warming the house. The reason the furnace was not doing a great job heating the house was not because the equipment wasn’t functioning, but because there were only four vents — two upstairs and two downstairs — with extremely limited ducting hidden in one soffit (dropped ceiling) in the entry area and another soffit (dropped ceiling) at the landing area at the top of the stairs. After many years of just wearing extra layers and using a space heater in the bedroom, I finally had the opportunity to replace the furnace with a mini-split system. Research showed that the Mitsubishi system had the best reviews, plus the company offered financing and incentive (in the form of a longer warranty) to purchase the system through a Mitsubishi-authorized dealer.I had one “very satisfied” referral from a neighbor to a company who installs a lot of these. A sales representative from that company came out and went over the physical logistics and challenges presented by having to run individual lines from the “compressor” (which would go outside on the patio) to each individual unit in four different areas (“zones”) of the house, and we came up with a strategy. This company submitted a bid. It was a lot more costly than I’d imagined, because I hadn’t factored in the logistics. I decided to get other proposals to make sure I was getting a competitive price.I went back to the Mitsubishi website to get referrals to factory-authorized licensed dealer-installers, and arranged to have two other companies come out to give me a quote.One of those two additional companies was Reliable Home Comfort (RHC). The owner of the company is Edison Rossman. He made an outstanding first impression. He was timely, professional, respectful and he took the time to really evaluate the job and to listen to what I wanted to achieve. He spent a good bit of time exploring the property, measuring the entire house and the four specific zones to be able to run the load calculations, as well as to be able to input the data in the Mitsubishi “diamond builder” software to determine the appropriate size units needed. I really liked Mr. Rossman and thought he would do a very good job. His pricing was competitive with the other two companies, and he provided the load calculations. He didn’t end up getting the work because his company hadn’t been in business as long as the other two competitors, and the co-owner of the house was concerned that RHC might not have the experience needed on such a complex and complicated install. I felt bad explaining to Mr. Rossman that we had decided to engage another company (not the initial one who had been recommended by the neighbor), but he understood and was extremely respectful and did not respond in a mean or bitter way.Our job ended up being even more complicated and there were challenges that the owner of the company we did hire had not anticipated. It took a lot longer to get the job done, and it took three tries to get the work to pass inspection by the city.So now, hindsight being 20-20, I can tell you that RHC is the company I wish we had hired. The owner is very hands-on and he truly listens and is committed to obtaining technical training, to providing excellent customer service and to being extremely responsive, professional, respectful and polite. He does not employ aggressive sales techniques or exaggerations in order to get the work. It is also a big plus that Mr. Rossman is a veteran who served in our country’s military. There are a lot of very positive things to be said about this company and I encourage you to invite this company to bid on your job.

Great work by Edison & his crew. Edison is a real professional guy, breaks down the work for you well. He made sure the job passed city inspection when corrections needed to be made. They set an appointment and came down to fix anything the city had any issues with. Today the city came and everything on their corrections list checked off so the job is done. As customer only suggestion to any future customers is, try to keep your communicating with the company in writing such as txt message or email to insure appointments and times aren’t mixed up. Other then that great job 5 stars.

We were finally ready to install AC and get rid of the ugly floor furnace.
