I had three different AC repair companies come to my house. All of them just charged me a visit fee went downstairs to my furnace and said the unit should be working but after those three times it never worked. Finally I reached out to JW Hearinf repairs and was connected with Marco. From the beginning of the process, Marco was an amazing technician. Respectful, communicative, and doing his best to fix our unit. After coming the first time for a free diagnosis, Marco told us that our furnace blower was broken and showed us pictures and videos of the problem, as well as explaining other potential issues that may may develop in the future but were not necessary for immediate repair. After explaining everything, we decided on a plans and he communicated the price and estimate very clearly. We scheduled a repair appointment for after the delivery of the needed parts. A week and a half later, Marco came back and fixed our blower and now everything is working perfectly. If anyone needs a good honest repair technician I recommend Marco from JW.

The 40-year-old heating system at my mother-in-laws house failed a week before Thanksgiving. We had used JW 5 years ago for our house and they did an amazing job. They were our first call for our current issue. Roberto, our service technician, came out and was kind, professional, courteous, and gave us outstanding service. He couldnt solve the problem with the unit on the initial visit and went over and above to find replacement parts and devise a solution- including rearranging his schedule so that he could attend to our needs as soon as possible. Ultimately, the old unit could not be repaired and I spoke with Eric to explore other options.This is a company that takes pride in providing outstanding service and hiring amazing people like Roberto. Im a big fan of this company and will use them as my first call for any of my heating and air conditioning needs.

Alex griego -showed up on time. Was clean, thorough and friendly. Praised my dog. Will ask for him next time!! A pleasure to have in my house. He could have stayed for dinner. But said he wanted to get to his next appointment on time. Thank you Alex.

Recently I had a plumbing safety inspection done. Kevin came to check things out. My water lines were in good shape. He then proceeded to inspect my gas lines under the house. He found leaks in some of the lines. Kevin showed me videos of a test he performed, which showed the gas escaping. He was patient and very professional as he explained everything he had done and exactly what he found. The visuals he presented helped see exactly what he was talking about.He proceeded to talk to his supervisor, and it was decided to turn off my gas for the night. I appreciated Kevins concern for my safety.First thing the next morning Kevin, his supervisor and the manager all showed up. They conducted one more test that confirmed the leaks, showed me those results, and gave me options. These options were explained fully to me. They gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions too, making sure I understood exactly what each option entailed. I didnt want to mess around where gas was concerned, so I chose to replace and redo the entire gas lines.Kevin continued to be a most caring person, and saw the entire project through, start to finish. He explained the inspection procedure to me, and even cleared his schedule to be here when the city came to do their inspection.I was extremely happy with this experience. Kevin went above and beyond, which I appreciated immensely. He was professional, as well as caring, courteous and respectful.

My family had been using JW to service our HVAC unit for a while but they completely lost our business simply for being dishonest during our last routine checkup. During the winter checkup they told us that we had to buy a new HVAC unit because supposedly a component for the heater was broken and the unit needed to be replaced as a result. Even going as far as showing us pictures of broken coils that were supposedly from our unit. I like how you have to book a service appointment with them way in advance but their sales people show up in less than an hour to get you to sign a contract to get a new unit. This company preys on the elderly and the naive. When I got home, the contract had already been signed because the salesperson and the tech fear mongered and told my family that if we turn on the unit, we were at risk of getting carbon monoxide poisoning so they advised not to use the heater. Our unit is only 13 years old and the heater has a 20 year warranty, theres absolutely no way that our unit needed to be replaced already when these units last 20-30 years if you maintain them which we do twice a year. I reached out to Lennox about the warranty they told me I had to reach out to the company that installed the unit. I did that only for the tech to tell me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my unit. Although JW left me a surprise: a bundle of cables unplugged which resulted in the heater to stop working after just 7 minutes during the test. The tech explained that these sleazy companies will do that just so youre forced to call them out again to fix the issue, easy service call money. We were cold not being able to use the heater for 2 weeks while temps dropped below 45 at night waiting for our appointment with the other HVAC company for absolutely no reason. Our unit was fine this whole time. All JW wanted to do was make a quick sale and straight up lied to us. The tech from the other HVAC company told me that he had other former JW customers tell him the same story. Going as far as showing pictures of broken components but from other units and claiming it was theirs just like they did to me just to make a quick sale. I went up to the roof with this tech and he showed me the coils were perfectly fine but the pictures the JW tech showed them broken and in bad shape. I urge anyone that find themselves in the same situation to get a second opinion and to stop using JW because they can not be trusted.

Our system was installed February 2022, so it is fairly new. Today’s visit was part of my service contract. They check out the System twice a year. We have been extremely happy with the system And all our dealings with service champions . The new unit is so much more efficient than our old one. My service technician today was Joe. He was excellent. Friendly, professional, well spoken, and explained everything in detail to me. I would highly recommend this company for all your household needs.

The technician was excellent. He came over earlier than expected, diagnosed the problem with my water heater and provided me with my options. Needless to say the water heater was fixed that same day. I appreciate all the advice and guidance Chris gave to me. It was extremely helpful in repairing the water heater.

Thanks for nothing. JW sent a person out to give an estimate to replace a fan high limit switch . I asked them before they came out if they work on 30 year old furnaces that have already replaced many new parts.tbey said yes over the phone if they dont reaping then they wont charge the service fee. Person came out gave an inaccurate diagnosis said the furnace was damaged with a bunch of inaccurate reasons . Made me pay the fee and tried to sell me on a new furnace and ducts for my 1300sqfthluse for$35000!!! I hired another company that fixed the problem. .

Adeedo! are wonderful helping with Air/Heating and Plumbing! My house has been a member with them since 2019 and Ive been happy ever since Ive joined their membership. Friendly professionals with all the answers and help. Really appreciate them.

I’m 62 years old and Adeedo has been around my entire life. When I met Ryan this morning, I immediately felt comfortable and confident. Ryan’s honesty, professionalism and knowledge was phenomenal. They twice cancelled a scheduled appointment, once after the window they provided, the second time when it was just about over. When I spoke with someone about it they literally said they cant guarantee theyll arrive in the windows THEY provide. Fine, but they also said they cant promise they can provide heads up when they are going to miss either. Complete waste of time, and I waited around for nothing. Horrible customer service. If this is how they treat new customers, be warned about how they treat existing ones.

Joshua was knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations regarding the condition of my two AC systems. He made recommendations but did not exert any pressure sales tactics to adopt any of them which I appreciate.

Several times their service technicians just don’t show up at scheduled appointment times. Their excuses have ranged from absurd to ridiculous, including “there is nothing scheduled for your account” by their answering service team on the weekend. There are better service companies than JW Air. Stay away from these guys.

I cant express how much you should avoid this company. Since I purchased my air conditioner 12 years ago, every single time they come out, they suggest some kind of fix or filtration system that costs at least $800. I subscribed to their membership service and they come out every six months to do routine service. Seems very unlikely the unit they sold me would need that many repairs, that often.Last week, I was supposed to do my bi-annual hvac service. I had scheduled between 2-4pm. They texted me on the day of service and asked if I could do earlier due to a cancellation. I waited and then nobody showed up between 12-2, like I was told. When I asked where they were, they said theyd be there during my original time, as they fell behind. Seriously. I had moved my entire schedule around to accommodate them, and they returned the favor by no-showing. I asked to have a supervisor call me, but that didnt happen until I asked again five days later.Because I work during the week and cant just sit around waiting for them, I had to reschedule for the following weekend. The tech came out, said everything looked really good, but recommended an $1800 filtration system. No surprise. About 30 minutes after he left, my thermostat - which has worked without issue for two years - powered off and wont turn back on. I called their 800 number and emailed them. They emailed me back and said someone could come - at the earliest - in two days , in the middle of the day when Id be working. Meanwhile, the 800 number told me theres an on call tech whod call me tonight. That hasnt happened yet.Bottom line, do not use this company unless you want to constantly be pitched on expensive fixes and upgrades, be waiting on them to show up, and have your check-ups turn into non-working HVACs. Dont do it.

I am a member of the “service champions” subscription. I called and asked for service because of a faucet leak. Favian showed up and I showed him the facet I had told the rep on the phone. He was surprised because he was told it was a kitchen faucet (I never mentioned “kitchen”. He check my water pressure and said he needed to call his supervisor to give me an estimate. He came back and said that it would cost $1500.00 because the faucet was old, it was outside, and it had hot and cold water. He said that they might have problems “finding parts” I said I called you for a leak and you quote such an exorbitant fee? I looked on Home Depot to find a replacement which would cost from $35-50. Favian said that installing it would cost $750. I told him it was rediculous and sent him away. That’s the “special treatment” that I get for my “elite” membership. I’m an elite member of Yelp and can’t wait to repeat this review.

I was very pleased. The technicians showed up early, walked me through my options and didn’t pressure me into anything I didn’t need. I would definitely call them again!

We had a little glitch with our furnace as an error message displayed on the thermostat when we fired it up. It went away shortly after that, but JW sent a technician out (at our request) to make sure there were no issues. As we are members (we pay a monthly fee) they did this gratis. Everything checked out fine. The tech showed up as scheduled and was friendly and helpful.

The service person(Julio) is responsive and thorough and makes sure to come up with proper diagnosis prior to charging for a visit. He reviewed all possible outcomes prior to leaving and although we could not completely solve the issue on this visit he has committed to staying in contact until the issue is resolved.

Great guys couldn’t fix my water heater but helped to find a leak on the sink and didn’t charge me love these guys

Two stars because I liked the technician. I had a contract with these guys. Cancelled today. Technician was great. No complaints. He showed me a picture dirty coils on the inside of the HVAC units (2). They dont clean them as part of the twice a year maintenance I paid for, even though the unit is open and they can use a can of self-rinsing cleaner ($6.98 at Home Depot) and a few minutes to get the job done. Technician told me that it would be $468 to come out and clean the two units. Received an email from them shortly after the visit confirming the price. Called to cancel, was told a manager would call me in 15 minutes or so (I did not ask for a manager - not a Kevin). Over an hour later, no call.

I use JW Heating on a regular basis. They maintain two systems at my house and Im very satisfied with their work. Just recently they sent a technician named Fredy and he solved a problem with one of the thermostats that no one else could figure out. I am so pleased. Im going to ask for Fredy for every job with JW that comes up in the future. Hes really conscientious and a common sense genius!

The morning started with water building up in my ceiling (a bathroom on top of a living room in a two-story home), which I first saw at 6 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. Thinking about any professional plumbing service that would come to mind, I called Adeedo (for whatever reason it came up later as JW Heating and Air) at about 7 a.m. They said they would have a plumber out between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. There was no mention of a service charge.The plumber arrived. I never got a call when the plumber arrived, but a Text message, with an agent asking if I can let them. I told them I never got a call. They said they called. I later found that AT&T, my cellphone provider, listed them as spam. That should have been a sign.I went outside to greet the plumber and let him in. He looked at the ceiling, sagging with water and all, and said that it would be a $250 service charge...which would be dropped if I went with their service.I had an emergency service needed, and I didnt have time or the patience to think about the ridiculous service charge, or their failure to mention it—I maybe would have called Downey Plumbing or another reputable plumber instead with a less steep cost of entry. Whatever.The plumber set up his ladder and cleaning area, and knocks a hole in the sagging ceiling, water spills out. He proceeds to knock a bigger hole in the wall so he could look into the ceiling. Reasonable.He peeps his head into the newfound hole in the ceiling and says my drainage pipe is busted and the wood is ruined. And they would need to tear out the ceiling and wall. And proceeded to tell me about two options. One for $8,000 and another for $13,000. I said you can see all that damage from up there? he assured me that was the case, and asked if I would like to start service. I told him Id think it over.I told him Id pay the service charge. He started to open up the camera app on his phone and said he will charge me later. I demanded he charge me now because I didnt feel comfortable with him having a picture on my credit card on my phone.He charged my card, took his ladder and left.I took my ladder and flashlight from my garage, which he obviously didnt know I had, and looked up there.I could not see a single pipe in there.I called a local plumber friend who was available much later because the water leak seemed to have stopped earlier. After some troubleshooting, and him confirming there was no drainage pipe in my ceiling, we found that the water spout in my bathroom was leaking into the wall. It just needed to be replaced. at $40 tip (even less with a lower quality spout).I would in no way recommended this company. The consultant they sent out, who was unable to do more work than to just break open a ceiling, lied. I will never hire Adeedo or any of their affiliates for any work for my house ever. I understand that bigger plumbers have a higher cost, but lying about damage to get $8,000 or $13,000 in work is ridiculous.And if you do go with this company, Id suggest at the minimum to get a second opinion to ensure the damage they talked about is legitimate.

Careful, thorough, very intelligent work on a plumbing problem in a house with old galvanized pipes. Communication was excellent throughout, action was wonderfully timely, and the problem was very well handled.

Tech Freddy arrived on time. He was courteous and professional. He did a maintenance check on my AC condenser per our contract. He removed the protective grilles and gave a thorough clean job on all aluminum fin panels. I appreciate his kind explanation of what he did for my AC and its health status.I Would love to have Freddy come back next year and thereafter to help me run the AC system smoothly for an extended period of time.

They were very quick to get someone out to assess our sewer pipe. When Paul arrived, he was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He and his team reviewed the situation and gave a great recommendation on how to proceed. While it’s hard to actually go underground and see the work done, Paul did show me the camera videos (live) after the work was complete. When the team finished filling the hole they’d created, we did have a small problem with the access pipe sticking out too far. But Paul responded quickly and came the next day to resolve it. Prices aren’t for the faint of heart, but it should pay off in the long run. And Paul was great to work with.

We were fortunate in that we were able to take advantage of the changes taking place with AC requirements just as they were coming into effect. The technicians were efficient and courteous, always taking the time to explain the steps in installing both a new furnace and a new AC condenser--both the latest models. We appreciated their care in minimizing any necessary inconvenience. Above all, they were highly personable, quick to laugh and make us think of them as new friends.

I can confidently say that this HVAC service in Los Angeles is by far the best Ive come across. The team is incredibly professional, friendly, and impressively knowledgeable. I had a great experience, and I highly recommend their services!

However having children and moving it was too much. We contacted JW plumbing as we read great reviews. Immediately the next day the appointment was scheduled. Christian was the technician that came and met with my husband and we could not be more grateful for the amazing service he provided and how respectful, honesty and understanding he was. He let my husband know what the issues with the unit was and gave us several options and was never pushy. He gave great honest advice and went above and beyond to help us. Thank Christian we will continue to use JW services because of him for our AC repairs. We could not be more grateful to you. My family was so happy to have our AC unit working again. This is an honest, reputable company.There was an initial problem with making my appointment. Within 24 hours, the owner of the company called me to explain the circumstances, take responsibility, apologize, and offer me a discount. I understand that problems happen, sometimes beyond our control, and how this company dealt with it shows that they live their values. He dispatched the next available technician who arrived within 90 minutes.Gerardo, our technician, was wonderful. He was professional and even put on booties and a floor covering to make sure our floor stayed clean. He was extremely thorough and explained everything. Although he did not have the part we needed, he found a solution so we had our heat restored and will be back to finalize our repair once the part is ordered.We are fans of JW because they know how to treat customers.

When reading online reviews for JW heating and Air the first thing that will stand out is how they are predominantly very positive and it becomes even more evident when the reviews are compared to similar businesses. From the first time you speak to someone on the telephone until the service is completed you experience excellent customer service. I recently purchased a new heating and air conditioning system to replace an older system. . Everything happened exactly on the timeline as described. From the initial estimate appointment to the follow up phone calls about the sales call service, the on-site visit to prepare for the insulation and finally for the actual installation. On the installation day the installation team arrived on time, set up inside and outside in a way to least disturb me and my neighbors. The installation supervisor explained what was happening during the course of the day. The entire installation team was friendly, professional, and courteous.After the job was completed, the team cleaned everything and left no trace they had been there. A checklist was completed by the installation supervisor and reviewed with me to ensure my complete satisfaction. It was stressed to me that if I had any questions or concerns to let them know immediately as it was the goal of JW Heating & Air to provide services which exceeded their customers expectations. This is a company I would highly recommend. Your time and money will be well spent.

Juan Sierra came to my home and did an extremely thorough inspection of my furnace. He patiently showed me photos of the inside and out of the equipment and shared with me all of the issues he spotted. He gave me the short term option but was clearly concerned with safety issues so also shared with me a longterm option. It is certainly the first time in a long time that I have received such a comprehensive assessment of this heater and it is clearly critical that I received it. He was excellent!

After much searching and researching, we selected JW for a new air condition system and they were great. Every technician that we have dealt with was knowledgeable, professional and very thorough. Our recent maintenance was conducted by Gerardo and he is really wonderful. We had a sort of tricky situation with a move and he worked to find us options and advised us in a very professional and non-sales’ish way. Our new house doesn’t have A/C and we will use Gerardo to install...no better recommendation than repeat business!

Christian was our tech and he absolutely nailed the job....!He came in to adjust some dampers for upstairs for even distribution of air last week and we had him come back to set up a bi- annual service (which we decided to pay a monthly basis for a discounted rate) of our entire home which is quite significant. He took photographs showed me everything that needed to be done, detailed everything before I approved the work, the price was good I felt confident in his abilities and the work that he did.He’s serviced three industrial size central air conditioning units and condensers, furnaces, changed out all air filters in addition to servicing six split units (wall units and ceiling units combined).Thank you so much for your professionalism and work ethic Christian. He easily and readily accomplished everything we asked for: adjusting the dampers, explaining how the unit fans work, explaining and pricing our choices for installing attic fans. He found an error in the piping for the master bathroom exhaust pipes that was causing a bad smell, which we also priced for correction. We have always (for decades) been pleased with JW and especially pleased to have Marco doing our work. He is highly accomplished and informative!

The professionalism from JW Plumbing, Heating and Air has been exceptional since we signed our contract thru Costco. They installed our unit and were thorough and very meticulous when installing our unit. They walked through the process and have been consistent in following up with any concerns after installation. They have done routine check ups and we are very happy. It was the best investment and we are happy that JW serviced our contract for our system. Quality machinery and excellent service!!

I called JW Heating & Air after receiving a special for a $49 furnace and A/C inspection. I was worried that for such a low price, I might not get exceptional service. I was wrong. It was definitely a 5 star experience. They called to ask about any time scheduling concerns, then called again when the technician was on his way. The technician (Christian) arrived right on time, was friendly, courteous, and very professional. He did not rush and thoroughly checked out both units. When finding an issue with the A/C unit, he recommended a repair, but did not push and did not give a today only price. He also offered answers to some allergy (and clean air) concerns, but again... did not initiate any high pressure sales tactics. I will definitely call this company back after researching and making some decisions... and will also request Christian as the technician.

JW Heating & Air is a quality company. Every experience I have had with them has been positive. They installed my system. They maintain it and repair it. The technicians are courteous and conscientious. Today, Marco was able to get my AC to work. It was not an easy job, but he was persistent and worked against the odds to get it fixed. There are pluses and minuses to working with a large company. In our case we did a complete HVAC upgrade. The teams were very fast and efficient. We had few other companies give us bids, one was a little lower and a couple were a little higher. The only downside of this, is that all the teams do their thing and it doesnt appear that they know what the other teams have to do or is done. This was a really big job, and there were a few glitches along the way. The team we worked with was outstanding in the quality of work and the time it took to do the job. Eric, our project coordinator was exceptional. He listened to what we were trying to achieve and showed us many options to get there. Once the work was completed, he came by to set everything up and make sure we were happy with the work done. We went from a system that couldnt keep up with the SoCal heat to a house that goes as cold as we want. I dont think our experience could have gone better, a great company to work with

I hired JW to replace our 70 year old shower valve. It was a big job that had plenty of unexpected surprises due to the age of the valve. Paul was very careful with our existing tile work and fresh paint in the rooms. He is extremely professional, courteous and communicates so you know what’s going on and what your options are. Let me first say that I have done considerable business with JW Heating and Air and I am shocked at the behavior they are currently demonstrating. In the past, I have had nothing but pleasant and fair experiences.JW Heating and Air installed a drip pan for my AC unit. Unfortunately, they wired the water sensors incorrectly. This failure allowed a substantial water leak in my attic and a bedroom ceiling to go undetected. The resulting damage / repairs costs were about $2,200. Upon bringing this situation to their attention, I was met with confrontation and defensiveness. I briefly spoke with their HVAC manager, Cary, who was rude, and combative from the start. After that, he never returned phone calls or emails. Weeks later, I reached out to the company again and this time spoke to a supervisor named Xio. Unlike Cary, she was polite, but like Cary, she did not return phone calls or emails.I tried for over a month to get this situation rectified fairly, but JW Heating and Air made absolutely no effort to remedy the problem and have been confrontational at almost every step.It is obvious that I will never have any business with any of the aforementioned companies and I warn you of the same.

Marco is a well trained, experienced air conditioning and heating equipment technician for one of the best companies for in Los Angeles with whom we have a long history of excellent service. Marco has an excellent work ethic, he diagnosed the problem with our condenser, explained what had to be done, how much it would cost and assured us that he had extensive experience repairing the problem.We expected that it would take several days for him to receive the parts needed for the repair but he went out of his way to pick up the parts and did the repair the next day. I use JW Heating for my annual maintenance and to service all heating unit problems. They installed our unit and have kept it ship shape. And their staff is ALWAYS professional and courteous. And an extra shout out to Ramirez our latest maintenance specialist. A very smart guy and very customer service oriented.

This company is reputable and honest. Just today I called Adeedo who sent out JW Heating & Air affiliated with Service Champions. They tried to fix my old unit changed two parts but still wouldnt turn on. Something to do with the electrical which was not connected to my breaker box. Looked like it went under the house. They did not charge for their work or parts just the $77 for the service call. Now I would say they are a reliable company. I might have had them go further but my son, the electrician, is coming Monday to check it out!

As Christian was troubleshooting my system, he took the time to explain everything to me. He seemed very thorough and knowledgeable. Also, there wasn’t any pushy sales pitch - he just presented the facts and explained the options I might want to consider. Every person that I had contact with was really pleasant. They might be on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

Had to replace the old ducts in my house. Ted from JW came out to give me a quote for the work. Not only did i receive a quote from him, he also told me that the company i purchased my system from may have installed the wrong equipment in my house. And sure enough after a few phone calls i found out that they indeed installed the wrong unit in my house. I received many quotes from different companies and had all types of technicians out to look at my system and no one caught this issue. He didnt have to go that extra mile with me to help me fix my problem, but i am so glad and thankful he did. Fast forward to almost a year later finally cause thats how long it took to get the correct unit installed, JW did my duct work. The crew was very professional, and was very knowledgeable. Explained everything that was happening during the instal, and once it was completed if something didnt feel right, they went right back up and made adjustments . So i am very pleased with the outcome. They will be doing all my maintenance on my system from now on.....thanks JW for a job well done.

Duncan came to my house conducted the AC tuneup on 7/26. He was very professionally checking each of the room temperature, he checked the compressor, and also did the attic inspection. There were some issues that need to fix, however, due to the age of the AC, I decided not to waste the money, I will wait until the AC failed and replace a new one. I will consider hire JW when I need to buy a new AC system.

Marco from JW Heating showed up exactly on time and was courteous, professional and fully engaged. JW is very organized and customer service oriented. I am a subscriber to JWs monthly $20 membership where they come out and do scheduled check-ups on my HVAC, water heater and plumbing. I figured Id give it a shot, but was planning on cancelling it after my last scheduled water heater check-up. Well, Im keeping it now...Min came over, checked the water heater, checked my plumbing and gave me some great preventative care measures that I could to keep my house in top shape. And he fixed a problem with my toilet, that was a minor issue right now but would have become an issue if he didnt spot it and fix it for me. Min is awesome. And I got to say... the program is a good value.

When you request an inspection, repair, or installation from a company that provides such services, you never really know what kind of customer service youll be receiving from the repair person. Today I was rather fortunate to have have met Gerardo. Gerardo arrived promptly at our agreed upon time, inspected, and then proceeded to review his assessment of the faults our system experiencing with me. JW originally installed our a/c and heater in 2016. JW was not the least expensive, but worth the additional cost. Our sales person was Dustin and he was great throughout the process. Our most recent tech Marco, was very thorough, detail oriented and gave me some solutions to issues that Ive had for a few years with the a/c unit. Will continue to use them for my maintenance, hopefully for years to come!

We had Alex come to do our regular maintenance and we were so happy to meet him and we learned so much from him. Alex was extremely detailed and thorough and explained everything to us that hed inspected. He gave us several options regarding some repairs, explaining how parts of our system worked. Gerardo came to our home to provide our 1-year service check and he could not have been more professional! He came prepared with gloves, face mask and booties to enter our home and then worked efficiently. We needed our filter replaced and he was able to do so on the spot for us. He talked us through everything he was doing and even made recommendations on how to use the fan circulation feature more effectively. Our two dogs were in love with him the minute he arrived, so I have no reservation of asking for him to come perform our service checks in the future! Many thanks!

I had Christian out from JW to service my AC a couple weeks ago. I was hesitant to bring any one into my home due to Covid-19. The office assured me that they are taking the necessary precautions to keep us, and their staff safe during this time. Christian came on time and wore gloves, shoe covers, and a mask. He even disinfected every thing he touched before he left with an organic cleaning solution. He was very kind and genuine, and asked genuine questions and expressed a lot of empathy with how we are doing during this time. Stated he is very grateful to still be working and very blessed. He also said its been very hard on him to see so many families struggle during this time since hes interacting with new people every day who are no longer working or had lost their job or business. Also informed me that they have been keeping busy with air purification solutions that can help remove viruses and other things from the home, he left me information on it and wasnt pushy at all about selling me it, it felt it was necessary to at least let me know during these times. I am unable to make that investment at this time, but I referred JW and christian to a couple friends who are interested in having them out to install. Thank you very much!

I had a terrible experience with a competitor. This firm fixed the problems in the most cost effective manner possible. They them replaced an entire AC system starting with a proper survey, educations is on options and implications, and pricing the installation fairly. They delivered as promised. We had a new HVAC unit installed 12/16 had have been very pleased since. JW has been very responsive to questions/concerns, and even helped get the energy rebate. Today we had our first complementary maintenance visit for the heating prior to cold season. Fernando C. was very friendly, professional, and efficient. JW honored the first year complementary service, including a replacement filter, which costs $189. Again, we have been so impressed with the service and support by JW, and would highly recommend to others.

I have been a customer of JW Heating and Air for several years. I have never had a bad technician sent to my home to do maintenance service on my A/C system. The latest technician Eric was very polite and very thorough performing the inspection and maintenance of the system. This review may sound cheesy, but I’m honestly writing it because of how great our experience was. Gerado Tecorral was beyond amazing. Im always a little nervous and skeptical when a new person comes in to repair something in our home. Right away he was so kind, respectful of our space and explained every step. He was also super nice to our barking dogs and took the time to sit and let them get used to him. He kept us updated through the whole process, there was a good amount to fix and he showed us before and after pictures of everything. I would hire him to fix every part of our house. This guy deserves a promotion! Seriously. Super thankful we got him and chose to go with this company :) You can tell they care about their customers.

Electrician came out 2 days ago and did some repairs. However, now, air is blowing cold air. Go figure! Placed another call, and someone should be out today. This is a new HVAC. It was installed in summer of 2022.

I had a really terrific experience with David from JW Heating and Air.I have been using them for 20 years now, but this time I needed a lot ofwork done. He explained everything to me in great detail which i really appreciated. He took photos of the problems and showed them to me. I needed a new battery as well as a tray to catch potential water run off. I am also going to get dampers for all of my vents that he said were not well insulated. He always shows up exactly on time, and i like that he takes so much time to explain it everything to me. David is a gem, and I am sure JW values him enormously! When I bought my home 20 years ago, Jeff (the owner) came out to service my house. I never forgot how kind, patient, and honest he was. Ive used them ever since.

Hugo is an excellent technician, he is methodical and detail. I have a Lenox HVAC system with a 2 zone function. The thermostat showed an error code 114 on Friday (11/24/23), heat came out low, 2 zones are not connected.The same error code happened a week earlier, the company sent me technicians to fix the problem on Wednesday, the day before thanksgiving day, all seemed fixed, but unfortunately on Friday, the day after the thanksgiving day, the thermostat showed error code 114 again, same old problem.I called the company, they told me they would send me a technician on the following Monday (11/27/23) morning. Hugo came, he listened to my experience with the issue. He said it could be communication service disrupted. He would check the mechanical functions for my HVAC system if they are properly worked. He checked all the vents and found my heating mechanical is good but air conditioning is not working. He then focused on the wiring, found 2 wires were broken. He fixed the wires, the thermostats error code 114 disappeared.It has been a week from the day Hugo fixed the problem, the thermostat is normal. Heat flow is very good.I appreciate Hugos methodical and thorough work mannerism besides friendly and courteous.

JW did an excellent job installing a new HVAC system at my house about 8 years ago. Recently, my thermostat went out and Roberto Bautista was sent to fix it the same day I called. He was very professional! He was thorough and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. This company IS pricey, but you get what you pay for! Hopefully the other employees are as nice as Roberto!

Our plumber Maffryn, exceeded all expectations of service, friendliness, ability, professionalism. We were able to book a same day appointment for a water leak on our main line. He was able to diagnose and fix with minimal disruption and in a timely manner. His knowledge is extensive and he’s very happy to share it. Weve had a lot of work done by JW—from inspections to AC repairs to a full furnace replacement. They are consistently great—always on time, if not a little early. I had a bad experience, looks like they are not on the same page and the always misunderstand Or miscommunicate with their staff: I booked an AC service in advance for a Monday in September, I showed up to the appointment for the selected date and time and after the due time no one showed up, I called and I find out that they decided to move the appointment one week later without me knowing anything about it, I called and they rescheduled me for Tuesday. The technician showed up thinking he had to deal with the furnace, so he didn’t have the tools to service the AC. they postponed my appointment again but at that point I called another company that showed up the same day and understood the assignment!

Very happy with the service. They were able to find the issue and explain what needed to be done. They showed me video of the pipe and pics where the damage was located. Far more then what I expected.

Dustin called ahead, arrived on time, got right to the diagnosis and repair, kept me informed of what he was doing, explained what the problems were, showed me the worn out parts, priced the repair fairly, then when I agreed, replaced the parts with brand spanking new ones, and cleaned the entire unit. I asked about a maintenance contract, which he offered, and I accepted. Had not had one in a few years because I couldnt find a reliable contractor. Well, now I have! I got to know him in the process, and learned quite a bit about the air conditioning equipment as well. Dustin not only repaired the unit and restored cool air on one of the hottest days of the year, he gained my trust and confidence, and a happy customer for JW Heating and Air.

Ever since Service Champions took over it’s been a disaster. An HVAC they installed 2 years ago is suddenly having problems, but they take no responsibility. They quoted me over double the price of the AC installation to repair it. It’s a shame because the JW of old did great work but now they’re just a part of a corporation that doesn’t value their customers.

Had a service appointment yesterday for the split system I got from JW about a year ago. Alex G. was fantastic. Thorough, friendly, helpful and very professional. Feb. 2, 2024 -- Minhaus Ukani made a service call. He is an exceptional plumber. He is knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy and above all reliable.

The service was great and the price was fair. The job was completed less than an hour after I made the initial call. I will definitely keep Adeedo on speed dial.

On May 1, 2018, we had the Spring tune-up of our air-conditioning (A/C) system. Given that we had had a problem with a previous service last Fall, we asked JW Heating & Air to send us a senior member of their team. Juan Sierra arrived punctually, explained in a friendly manner and in considerable detail what we could expect from our system in terms of service and repair, and then performed more than 3 hours of thorough service on our two A/C systems (one for each floor). He ended by asking us whether there was anything further he could do for us before he removed the various protective tarps he had spread over our floors. Juan was courteous, unhurried, and helpful in every imaginable way and easily won 5 stars for his visit and service. We have owned two homes, one on each coast, and have used quite a few companies to service our heaters and A/C systems. JW Heating & Air, which was recommended to us by a neighbor three years ago, is by far the best of these companies, both in terms of service and repairs. We recommend them highly and without any reservation.

Great service. Arrived a few minutes early but was at our door at the exact time of our appointment. The technician, Gerardo, was professional and respectful and identified the issue with our heating system. We will use JW on the future and will always ask for Gerardo.

My girlfriends mom received a paper flyer and called for a air conditioner tuneup. When asked to turn on air conditioning it wouldn’t turn on. The technician opened up system and found a bad part. ( contractor ) . He said the fan was bad and caused the problem. 500 to fix and 11000 for a new system. I checked it out and didn’t know what a contractor should look like so I didn’t know. Good thing we had someone else look at it because what he found was the contractor had a missing part. He replaced the contractor and everything worked. Be careful! I wouldn’t use this company.

Dont Look ANY FURTHER !!! JW HEATING IS THE BEST !!!!! I went through several different companies and got no results just the runaround and HIGH PRICES !! Marco who works for JW got right on it and found the problem and fixed it RIGHT AWAY !!!!! Not only did Marcos expertise and skills save the day but he was also EXTREMELY pleasant, patient HONEST, and helpful. I just cant say enough good things about my experience with JW Heating and Marco their technician. I have had excellent experiences with JW Heating and Air and recently Cesar C. from the company replaced some damaged ducts from underneath my home. He arrive on time, worked efficiently and when finished, he cleaned up so you wouldnt know anyone was working in the basement. He spread drop clothes to protect the floor and he corrected a couple of other problems not described in the estimate. Great attitude, easy to talk to and overall a great guy and conscientious worker. JW is lucky to have people like this on their staff. He is always welcome to come back!

The service technician showed up at my house and within 15 minutes explain to me that I needed a brand new $11,000 unit craned up onto my roof. I told him I could not afford it and that I would just pay for the repair. They charged me $2400 for a repair and it did absolutely nothing. When I complain to the company they did nothing about it. At my own expense I paid to have another smaller air-conditioning company to come in and for $2200 they completely fixed my unit and it is working perfectly to this day. I will never bother going to a large company again as all they want to do is sell new units.

I had JW Heating and Air install a new Lennox heating and air system in our home, and I would highly recommend their services, from Joe to Jose and his team, Ismael and Flipie. Joses team were punctual, friendly, and meticulous in their work. Joe followed up and spent personal time to confirm the installation and answer some technical questions after the install. At the end of each day they were very careful to make sure the work area was clean and no mess was left.Overall the experience was excellent. They delivered on everything that Oscar Villafana promised in our initial negotiation for the job. They listened, communicated and performed. All the special traits of a well managed and experienced team of employees.Being in the Development and Construction Management business for over 25 years and hiring numerous construction trades/contractors to perform multiple technical projects, I would definitely put JW Heating and Air at the top of my go to list.

Had no heat- called for appointment and Marco showed up within a couple of hours.Marco went over a few issues that needed taken care of in a timely manner. Suggested other fixes for better heat/ air in unit that no other maintenance had suggested in 15 yrs . Will definitely call for projects ahead and use Marco.

Friendly. The technician, Victor, came out to assess the situation. I am a DYI type but had no availability to fix our blown motor that day. The price to solve the blower was about 5 times higher than the part only price if I ordered it from Amazon and did it myself. So I have to justify it by the convenience and headache free experience. Victor was finished in 2 hours and treated us with high professionalism.

Ismael and his crew, Felipe & Aldo, were wonderful. I found them to be honest, and very professional, they did the work in the time they stated and left my home as clean as they found it. I would definitely recommend JW Heating and this crew.

Although there was a snafu in the original service date, the service tech was very friendly and personable. He tried fixing my AC unit but unfortunately it just needs to be replaced. I given various options and payment methods and will probably use them to install a new unit since the other company I used didnt use the best equipment.

I called JW Heating and Air to have our A/C inspected, tuned up, charged up, etc. because it felt as though the cool air was not as cool as it once was.I was surprised to get an appointment within 3 days even though we are in the middle of a punishing heatwave.Angel was the technician who showed up- early by 5 minutes - and devoted six hours to caring for our 3 A/C units. Angel was very knowledgeable & kept me in the loop as he progressed through the house. He had every part he needed on his truck so there was no time lost chasing down parts - a pet peeve of mine. In the end, it was not cheap but you get what you pay for and I am more than pleased that Ive got functioning, efficient A/C units again.I will definitely use JW Heating and Air in the future - and I will ask for Angel to be the technician.

We had a 25 yr old furnace that needed to be replaced. I had had HVAC service in the past with JW and was impressed by their professionalism and organized manner. The same technician returned to look at our furnace md system. He was able to call one of his supervisors who came out on a Saturday morning to look at the system and give an estimate. Another tech came out a week before scheduled service to make sure they knew how many vents they were working with. The morning of the service Ishmael and his team were at my home promptly at 7 am and began work. They checked in often and when they realized all of our old ducting was compromised by previous work in our basement, they called Jeffrey who came by within an hour to evaluate and give a price for the ducting ( which really had been crushed and collapsed). They finished the main installation on time and came back promptly the next work day to co okeyw the ducting. Throughout the technicians were courteous . The office kept in constant communication via phone and email throughout the process from start to finish. I am pleased with the team and the finished product

A/C died over the weekend. Called first thing Monday morning and was on the list for an appointment same day. No specific time slot, but was updated with ETA throughout the day. Marcos arrived and diagnosed the issue (components) quickly. He and his tablet walked me through the cost/replacements in a way that was easy to understand. Sidenote, glad it is all on tablet and not triplicate. He offered additional services for future proofing that didnt make me feel coerced/dire if I didnt go for extras. Components in Van and a/c is running within two hours. Covid aware and polite in requests. Will use again.

Mark B. of JW came out today for a routine service call and to hunt for a slow leak that has eluded us for quite a while. Extremely good experience. Mark found the leak and performed all the work quietly and neatly. Very personable without sacrificing any efficiency. I cant say enough good things about the crew at JW. Solid performers who honor their commitments.

So, I had J W Heating & Air back last week to clean the duct work on our master level. Angel, while servicing the HVAC unit the week prior, recommended that we clean the duct work due to its being covered in drywall dust & dog hair. I had been putting it off because it sounded like a huge, expensive undertaking. Turned out that was not the case. James & Travis of J W Heating & Air showed up early by 15 minutes, set up shop and proceeded to tackle the task. Seeing the ducts before & after the cleaning was freaking unbelievable. Not only were the ducts sparkling clean, the air smelled better. James explained that they use Simple Green to polish the ducts and thats what I was smelling. I thought he mentioned placing scent sticks inside the ducts, but I may be mistaken on that point. When finished cleaning the ducts, James & Travis cleaned up and left the area cleaner than when they came. From start to completion, James & Travis were here for ~ 2 ¾ - 3 hours. Once again, J W Heating & Air excelled in the services they provide.

Great service and terrific customer service from the office staff to the technicians, one can expect excellent care. Sal our tech was knowledgeable, explained issues in detail and helped us prioritize the repairs that our older system requires. They charged me $99 for coming to check my air condition. They said the only thing I can do is change the filter for $20, which is not included with the $99.They told me my AC unit is 19 years old when it was changed 10 years ago. They gave me a quote for $10,000 to change my unit.I got another guy to come and they changed the filter and said my unit was fine and working properly.So basically I paid $99 for nothing. They would not even change the filter!I do not trust these people

Marco did a great job with resolving the issues we were having with our Lennox iComfort WiFi thermostat.. He also did a comprehensive checkup on our current air conditioning system and made appropriate suggestions for what needed to be fixed, also providing photos of our unit so that we could see what was wrong that needed replacing. Angel, the technician, was excellent. He was on time for the appointment to service the HVAC system. Fortunately, he detected a leak in one of the AC drain lines and noticed the lack of a safety switch. He repaired the line and installed the switch during the appointment. Angel alerted us to a problem with the AC condenser that presages a potential failure in the future. He set up an appointment for me to meet with a salesperson next week.

JW Heating & Air gets another A+ for consistency! We needed the filters changed and checked on my elderly aunts home, so we called JW who had installed her new HVAC system last November. Since she lives near the airport, we were/are especially concerned about airplane dust. The tech who showed up today, Christian, was awesome! Right on time as scheduled, and very knowledgeable about the systems, how they work, and provided us with several options to further improve the air quality in the home, which we took him up on. And, he did all this without being sales-zy at all. An extra plus, Christian was super kind and chill with my aunt; some people just ignore the elderly as if they arent even there, not this guy. Highly recommended.

Extremely pleased with JW Plumbing from start to finish. Michael Campbell, the JW Customer Rep was knowledgeable, professional, and a nice guy. He was very thorough in explaining what work would be required, the equipment that would provided (with options and recommendations), and provided two quotes- one if the new A/C unit could be installed near the existing unit and the second if the new A/C unit had to be moved to the back of the house depending upon where our property line was.Although JW was not the cheapest quote that I got, Michael explained that JW employees were highly trained and long time, bonded employees; all equipment provided were of high quality- e.g., Lennox A/C and Heater; and that City inspectors would certify their work. (Michael said JW Heating & Air will only do a job the right way.) The price was a little less painful after Michael indicated that Costco would provide a 10% gift card, and we would also be eligible to receive a couple more discounts/rebates.Michael left me his business card, company brochure, information of the Lennox equipment that would be installed, and a copy of the work order.The next day, Steven, the manager of the installation teams came by to inspect our premise to make sure the installers would have everything they would need to complete the job in two days. Steven was very professional, personable, and reassuring.First thing Monday morning 7 A.M., Steven introduced me to Ramon, the team leader of the installation crew, and a couple of the people who would be installing the HVAC system. Ramon and his crew were great. They were extremely, extremely polite and humble, efficient, quiet, and neat and hard working. They covered the floor with tarp, cleaned-up at the end of the day, and were tidy during the day. After the crew was done for the day at 3:30 P.M. , my wife pointed out a number of problem that she found, e.g., a crack in the ceiling, a gap around the a/c pipe outside, and a couple of light switches that were not working now.The next morning, Ramon and his crew were at the house at 7 A.M. again ready to work. I talked to Ramon about the problems that my wife had discovered the previous day. Ramon was polite, listened patiently, and said in a very reassuring tone that they would take care of them (which they did). Again, his crew was very polite, efficient, and neat. By 3:30 the crew had finished their work and left. Again, they cleaned up everything, inside and outside the house. The work looked beautiful. Very clean and professional. (The entire process from start, first call, to finish, installation, took only one week.)Ramon stayed behind to make sure the HVAC system was working properly and explain how to operate the new system. The a/c worked perfectly. The heater, unfortunately, would not come on. Ramon worked on the heater for one and a half hours, but could not fix the problem despite calling the office. JW called me later that day and said they would send someone in the morning to look at the heater.The next morning, Steven (the manager of the installation crew) came by to inspect the heater. Steven said he thinks the problem is a defective part and explained the function of the part. Steven said this was the second a/c unit in 20 units they had installed that had this problem. Because this was a new unit, he was hopeful that they would get the replacement part and be able to fix the problem by next week and of course there would be no charge.Although the job is not finished, I am confident that JW will fix the problem. (Im just glad that its the heater that is not working and not the a/c!.) The primary reason, my wife and I went with JW Heating & Air is because they are a Costco vendor. Based upon my dealing with JW, I am glad that we did.JackMonterey Park, CA
