Marco was such a great help and one of the most kind and patient service professionals I have ever dealt with. Scheduled a maintenance tune up for my AC unit. Brian Jackson came out and in fact came out earlier than my allotted time which was a plus (and I said would be fine). Brian was extremely knowledgeable and personable upon meeting him. He walked me through the entire service process, showed me photographs to help me understand a few areas that he recommends actual service. He was genuine and did not try to “sell” me into getting repairs I don’t need. When I schedule the repairs, I will do it with Brian. Really great experience with Brian and looking forward to my next project and working with him.

Having utilized Service Champions for over 20 years I have to say, unlike many other businesses, their service just keeps getting better. The most recent example, and in fact is an example over the past 9 months or so, is William Jollen. He is a Ducting Lead. He along with another technician installed all new ductwork in our house, including realizing that we needed additional ducts installed. They were perfect, fast and courteous. But the “icing on the cake” was William’s willingness to, initially, and three times since, to come back and fine tune the distribution of air in our house. It is an older house that has been added onto multiple times and some distributing the cool air appropriately is crucial for everyone being comfortable. Our house is approximately 2500 sq ft with 6 adults (including a 94 year old) plus 1 toddler. William has been so kind, efficient, and helpful but best and most unusual attribute is his willingness to listen and hear what you’re saying and then make suggestions about how to address your concerns. Not many people today actually listen to what you say , much less actually address your concerns. Thanks Service Champions for hiring such a good employee (and person as well ).

December 2024 - Well its past a little over a year since my initial service and while every visit has been impecable I kinda took issue with the membership I paid for. Recently I saw an ad on TV where they will come out for $88 to do a tune up. Now hold on Im paying $22 a month for a year ($264) and I got only one visit of the two visits Im entitled for with a membership in a one year period? During the year I did have to call for another visit because my AC stopped working. Turns out the thermostat was the problem and they charged me $400 (with a member discount, supposedly!) to replace it. Id later relized that I could have paid for my own thermostat and had it installed for less then half from a contractor from hardware store. But as a memeber I thought Id get a better deal, nope, got hustled and even after in talking to the tech after the install I find out they will back thier work so long as I remain a member. So Service Champs dont back your work for one time calls who arent members? Suffice to say I cancelled thier membership. Tech and reps were always great to deal with. But price wise and policy wise Service Champs fall short of providing fair market priced service, probably buying out Addee-Doo wasnt such a good idea with more overhead and extra techs to pay!October 2023 - Great customer service, Called to make an appintment and was help by Niki, she was very friendly and very positive settings things up. Brian the technition that came out was well versed with my furnace problem and pointed out all the issues that was plaguing my system. Overall service with them was excellent! Thanks!

Jaime quickly diagnosed and fixed an electrical issue that another electrician had misdiagnosed, saving me money compared to the original estimate. Jaime was on time, professional, friendly, and very skilled at his job.

Yoshua was on time, professional, courteous, and analyzed the problem quickly. I had them put in our air conditioning and heating system last February and it has been wonderful. I was having a problem with my nest thermostat and Yoshua figured it out quickly. I would not go to anyone else for heating and air-conditioning… Or Plumbing for that matter.

Robert C. was courteous and super helpful when walking me through the issue. A series of power outages in LA (probably) resulted in a power surge that fried the connection for my A/C compressor. He was speedy to assess the situation and gave me periodic updates. A+ service!

Nice experience, Alan arrived early and was accessible, conversational, knowledgeable, and he got the job done in no time. I like Service Champions and feel that I can rely on them in a pinch. Theyre big enough to provide prompt service in situations that require quick resolution, and their service reps are friendly, polite, and animated. I like the feeling of reliability, competence and humanity that the staff provides. Theyre not cheap and they wont work on everything, but Im pleased with their service.

Service Champions installed the HVAC in our home in 2018 and weve had a fantastic experience with them ever since. When weve had occasional issues, service has been prompt, efficient, and trustworthy - Ive always felt taken care of and never felt sold.Technician Karo is the absolute BEST - thoughtful, engaging, solutions oriented, and fair. Ive never had a more positive experience with a technician/expert for anything Ive had worked on in my house, his professionalism and relaxed, supportive attitude were refreshing. Request him if you can; Service Champions you should do whatever you can to keep him so happy :)

Eric and Daniel were extremely thorough, professional and kind. Their explanations and pictures helped me to understand the maintenance inspection and how my HVAC system works. They left the system in much better condition than it was in when they arrived! I would definitely recommend Service Champions.

We had our air conditioning go out unexpectedly so called Service Champions to come take a look. They came out the next day and did an initial investigation. Marco, one of their senior technicians, showed up on time, went right to work and had the system fixed in less than an hour. I’m quite impressed with Abel Avila and Robert in performing a detailed inspection of my furnace on November 14, 2023. Both of them went to my attic and took pictures of the current condition of my furnace, the duct network connected to it as well as the surrounding attic blown-in insulation. They went over their 18-point inspection checklist with me and their recommendations for maintaining my home’s heating system. I signed up with their Membership Club because it made sense. It’s a job well done!!!

Devin is amazing! He has been servicing our HVAC system for the past 3 years and has proven himself to be knowledgeable, kind, and trustworthy! We know that we can trust his recommendations to keep our system running safely and smoothly!

I am grateful to Service Champions for showing up when they they said they would and take care of my A/C when I needed it the most. The technicians that have done the various maintenance and repairs are all excellent. The scheduling of those repairs needs some work. When given a 2-hour arrival window, the technicians typically arrive at the end of that window which increases the amount of time the customer needs to actually schedule for the service. Today, 1/5/2024 was the first time the technician arrived on time and did a fantastic service. I was on the fence about renewing based on past performance, but his service today totally convinced me to renew my membership.

Joshua was excellent! He performed routine heating service check. He explained everything & answered all my. He took time to address my concerns, all with a smile & wonderful attitude. I will be requesting Joshua for my service requests in the future. 😀

We had a bunch of standing water in our basement from a leak somewhere on our HVAC. Our technician Julio came out and was really really great. He was kind, professional, and super thorough, and was able to diagnose the issue and fix it very quickly. He then stayed, to make sure everything else was working properly, and helped dispose of the standing water. We’ve had a few different companies and technicians in the past, but Julio was the best, and went above and beyond!

Brian came to service us today. He did a great job and explained everything he was doing and was very pleasant as well. Great job Brian.

These technicians are amazing. They were very respectful, helpful and knowledgeable. They provided the most thorough and cleanest maintenance of both my AC and Heat systems. The equipment worked better after their service than it did when it was put in. I will not use anyone else again. They were clean and the house looked like they were never here. Absolutely love these guys. They do what they say and say what they mean.

Brian J was is the technician for both my house and my rental property to perform the spring maintenance check up. Not only did he check all the electric circuits in the HVAC compressor and fan but he also cleaned the fins for all the compressors.His report included photographs of the hardware and the measurements takenHe did used that the start up current for both compressors was slightly over specifications and recommended options to fix the issue. He was incredibly knowledgeable, clear spoken, thorough and polite. A pleasure to work with.His supervisor, Peter, went through Brians recommendations with me, and we found the most effective options to consider.Great service. Knowledgeable technicians. I switched to JW (Service Champions) in 2019 - Was very fortunate that JW assigned Marco Bercian as our tech for the very first inspection. It has been almost 5 years, and still I always ask for Marco when scheduling my HVAC maintenance. - Marco is professional but very approachable and patient, thorough, can dumb down HVAC technology for me. I am the kind of person who likes to understand exactly the service and products I am getting and paying for. I trust Marcos and the companys recommendations 100% .A true believer in clean air ever since I was hospitalized for serious respiratory disease 23 years ago. Since then, have changed my furnace, duct system, A/C condensing unit (now have a heat pump) several times - my family rarely gets the common cold for over 20 years now.

Service Champions hires and trains their personnel. Devin was a great technician. Extremely comprehensive. He thoroughly serviced and cleaned my HVAC system, while also explaining and illustrating with photos whether any parts needed replacement (they didn’t}. 5 stars.

Marco came by for a heater tuneup. He was on time, friendly, and got right to work. He showed me pictures of our system and shared some important information and was able to answer all of my questions clearly.

Simply put ... Devin and his company were top notch! He explained everything in detail, showing us pictures and providing pros/cons so we could make rational decisions. Devin was competent and neat. He even offered to take our trash cans in - his good deed for the day!

I waited 5 days to get a response after multiple calls to the main line. They clearly dont care about their customers. Very disappointing. Was without heat for that entire time. Brian seemed ok for installation but he was not great at following up.

This was my first time and definitely I am recommending the Service Champions service to all my friends. I was introduced to this company by receiving persoal letter offering their services and a great introductory A/C tune up. One shouldnt miss this opportunity. My technician was Enrique, he was super polite, very profesdional, knowledgeable, excellent, period.He told me what is he going to to, how is he going to do it, took pictures and showed the results and what the desirable result should be. He educated me in many aspects, needless to say that I am an engineer myself but learned a lot from his field, bravo. Top shelf service by him, right on spot on.

Had a scheduling snafu with this company but the tech that showed up for my a/c work was terrific, couldnt ask for better. But the earlier mistake takes away the fifth star. I will say they stand by their word. They did everything in their power to make me happy and keep my business. Will gladly give them another shot. A/c work ask for Marco, good guy.

I paid a yearly contract for maintenance of my AC unit and Plumbing inspection. I noticed customer service has DECLINE compared to previous years. I started my service with JW, later acquired by Service Champion, since then the service is not the same, it was hard to schedule a technician visit, I was told we do not have enough technicians to serve new units, yours is really new and not all are trained to service those units. I cannot complaint about the AC technician visit. He performed a great service; however, unlike previous years, he did not have a filter to change due to they are not carrying expensive filters anymore. I called customer service to schedule a new appointment and have the filter changed; however, I am still awaiting for the customer service to cal back and let me know when they can come to change the filter. On the other hand, the plumbing service inspection, resulted in a pipe to be replaced due to a leaking; we did. It cost us $5,800. They damage the zinc faucet, the water coming does not come out as it normally did. I called and was told I need to pay $500 for they to fix what they damaged. Unfortunately, I already pay for next year service, it will be the last. Will look for a company that could provide a better service and is not a rip off.

Josh performed maintenance on my HVAC system. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He explained in layman terms what was going on with my system when he was finished. He offered advice on ways to prolong the life of the system. He was clean, quiet and thorough and I was very impressed. I’m happy to have Service Champions taking care of my HVAC. Thank you Josh.

Our technician Victor was very professional and respectful. He took care of the technical side and then he came over to explain what he did and answer any questions that we had. Most importantly to me, he did not try and push any products on me. He explained what he observed, made some recommendations, nonnaggressively, and left me to decide how to proceed.

Devin was excellent. He made me feel easy talking about my home issues. He treated me like a family and was patient, accommodating, informative, and very friendly. I believe he really went over, above and beyond which I’m not used to with anyone who comes to work for me. Especially the first time coming around. Joshua, the technician, was very through in the testing of our ac and heating system. He spent several hours going over the system and preparing it for the coming hot weather. He then went over the improvements which could be done in the future to improve efficiency and reliability. I have my system checked twice a year and will ask for Joshua for the next check.

Alan, the service technician, was polite knowledgeable timely. You check the problem. Told us our options and what the cost would be. And took care of what we decided to do. He did not try to push any additional services. I would definitely use him again

Abel was awesome. He was at my house for over 2 1/2 hours trying to diagnose my problem. He finally figured out that it was a programming issue and recommended a new thermostat. I told him that I needed time to think about my options. He was very courteous and I told him that I would be in touch when I figured things out.

I was 100% satisfied with the work that was done. All the guys who came into my home were so nice and professional and were always on time. They explained how to operate the thermostat and left me all the paperwork in case I needed it if I had any questions. I am so happy!!!!🥰

A total RIP-OFF! $1,342.12 per HOUR!!!!Their estimate to change a small Fan Motor Control ($588) and a Compressor/Kick-Start Saver Kit ($895) = $1,483.00.Work time = 1 hour...So, didnt say Yes to the repair guy, despite pressure of I have the parts in truck and can do it right away.Called local A/C wholesale supplier:Compressor/Hard Start/Kick Start Kit: cost = $49.00Fan Motor Control = $79.95Parts, incl. tax, total = $140.88Service Champions Gross Profit = $1,483 - $140.88 = $1,342.12$1,342.12 for 1 hour of work???? Come one!I know people have to make money, but this is OUTRAGEOUS.I bought the parts from a dealer and contacted a loyal handyman who charged $90 to change out the small parts.

The power went out for my AC and furnace. The diagnosis proved to be challenging. Fortunately Julio, the technician who serviced my system, was someone who had worked at my house previously. This time, like the times before, he did meticulous work when he tested and repaired the problem. Now its working perfectly! I highly recommend and I hope youre lucky and the company sends Julio!

Brian Jackson came to my house to do the furnace work. He was very informative and kept me apprised as to what was going on. Very very helpful and very very professional. Recommended highly.

Maintenance annual check.The technician that came to my home was very efficient and professional. He showed me how to turn off my water line and which line for different reasons. He showed me how to turn off the main water line from the curb, the water line next to my house and the the water line under my sinks. He brought to my attention that my water heater will expire next year and to call them to have it serviced before it expires if possible. He showed me pictures of my plumbing under the house and where I might start having problems under my toilet where the wood isnt in the greatest conditions nor the ceil to the toilet. This man was so detailed. I truly appreciated his demeaner and his attention to details. Not only did I feel that he was very trust worthy, management needs to know that this man is one of your greatest assets! Thank you.

Francisco did a great job cleaning our AC units and installed surge protectors that will come in handy with this storm coming through. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions with patience, which I appreciated.Josh with Adeedo made sure our plumbing issues were taken care of the very next day and the guys that came in got the job done perfectly. Kevin handled the water heater installation and communicated all of the important information.I’m always grateful for the patience, professionalism, and sense of urgency these guys execute. I never worry that I’m in the wrong hands.

I couldnt bear another heatwave in our old house and decided it was time to look into HVAC. After meeting with Matt, who came out to explain the process, give me a bid, and earn my complete trust in Service Champions, we booked them for a full HVAC install, including creating ducts throughout our house. While Service Champions was not the cheapest company we interviewed, I am thrilled with the end product and so so so glad we opted to use them for this job. Quick to schedule us, in constant contact throughout the process, and a stellar crew to do the huge task of equipping our home with central heating and air, I am a customer for life. The team removed our floor furnace and wall heater, installed a brand new HVAC, with top of the line products, left our home cleaner than when they arrived, and for the first time in forever I am not having anxiety when I look at the weather report! Shout outs to Matt, Shawn, Victor, Ken, Hymie, Hector and Terrick. Service Champions did it all and did it perfectly!

We were very impressed with the service of the gentleman who did the maintenance check. He was very informative and through.We will be getting a second opinion on either repairs on the unit or to replace the unit.

I highly recommend this company!! I was looking to repair my a/c unit because it was leaking. Eric initially came out to check the unit and he explained the cause of the issue and gave his recommendation based on it. He was ver professional and responsive. They were really accommodating with coordinating my difficult schedule as i work overnight. Max’s crew was very knowledgable and thorough. They explained every step and answered all the questions that I had during the repair. I will definitely call them up again in the future if i come across any issues in my unit.

Brian was pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. My only regret is that due to the age of my HVAC system, it will probably need to be replaced.

The workers were very pleasant, clean, efficient and always in good cheer. It was pouring rain and there was not a complaint among them! I am so glad to have just recently discovered JW Plumbing & Heating. This April and May, they repaired my HVAC system and installed new ducting. Ive lived in this house for 20 years and hired a lot of different contractors over the years, and can say that this company is top notch.Shawns crew installed new ducting so that the air flow is better than it has ever been. While replacing the ducts, they noticed that the air scrubbers (to clean the air thoughout the house) had never been working right and got them working properly for the first time in years!So, I realized this is the company to service the HVAC in my home. Adam and Brian came out to look over the entire system, and were very thorough. They showed me pictures of every piece of equipment and explained exactly what needed to be done and why. I chose to replace one furnace and an A/C unit, and was amazed at how smoothly the job went - it did not even take a full day.Both crews (first was for the air-duct replacement and the next was for the new furnace and A/C unit installation) were neat, respectul, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. Denise in the office called to make sure the job went to my satisfaction. When I call, she and others I have spoken to, are always polite and helpful and get right back to me so I know what to expect and I understand the process. Kyle came out on time and quickly assessed what the problem may be, and called in another tech, Efren, to bring over a camera to pinpoint the issue. Turns out I have several cracks in a really old pipe that needs to be fixed. The issue is a lot bigger of an issue than I thought it would be, but both Kyle and Efren were really helpful in explaining the problem and solution. Still figuring out how I would pay for this solution but overall I had a great experience despite them being the bearers of bad news.

My AC compressor failed on my 2yo unit. I had service Champions out for $100 to inspect and provide a quote. They wanted $6800 to replace the compressor (mind you it was still under warranty), replace the high side line dryer, and recharge the system.I complained and they refunded my $100.I had the same job done by another company for $600.You don’t get quotes like that every day in LA. I thought it was worth my time to review and save others the hastle.

Do not use if you have a HoneyWell thermostat!! Changing My Review to ZERO STARS! I was so happy with my previous service champions visit that we called them back out again this year. They literally bait and switched us. In the past they honored our honeywell warranty, but now they tried to upsell us into a $200 yearly membership and then an additional $150 fee to replace our thermostat. The whole situation felt very shady and we will NOT continue to use their services in the future! They are listed on the HoneyWell website (Aka Residio) as an authorized retailer but acted like they had no idea. I said they should remove themselves from the Honeywell website if they are not going to honor their commitments.Marco was very thorough and provided excellent service. We thought we had a different issue with our thermostat but he diagnosed that we had a blown fuse and resolved our issue on the same visit. I would recommend his service to anybody in the future.

Our furnace had two problems--the occasional smell of gas outside the house and the furnace was sometimes sending lukewarm air through the registers. Alan (sp?) diagnosed our problem in about 5 minutes. He was also very willing to share his knowledge. I learned more about our HVAC system during Alans short visit, than I have with all previous visits, from other HVAC companies, during the last 20 years.

I had a very good experience today. I had just arranged to have my water heater drained as a routine service. Brian has clearly shown a comfortable expertise with our equipment, some of which is not handled by service champions. He was extra careful to determine what the problem was with our cooling in the zone where our new unit had been installed by service champion, finding that are cooling fluid was very low. He was also proactive in suggesting compressor savers to protect our old condensers. He was very polite, cheerful, and pleasure to meet. After his visit I have a renewed confidence in your company to provide quality inspections.

They came to do a service on my two air conditioners. One is old and needs replacing. They quoted me $12,900! My two long term HVAC people quoted $5900-8000 for the exact same thing……hmmmmm?

He showed me some things that need to be addressed and the reasons why they should be addressed, which On the spot, I watched him send me an email that included a fully detailed report and the quote for addressing the service items that needed to be repaired. I signed up for the subscription plan that they offer, it makes perfect sense to me, is very reasonable and their program will undoubtedly help me to remember to keep on track with regular inspections, cleaning and maintenance.
