Good work, absurd cost.We’ve worked with Mario for many years and always find him to be quick and thorough. But Pali Plumbing appears to have changed its focus from service to personal enrichment.I called and asked for Mario to come and replace four worn valve handles (“angle stops”) under our sink. It’s a simple fix, and Mario completed the work within about twenty minutes. He was in our home no more than thirty minutes, total.Pali Plumbing charged $27 each for the hardware (total $108). Then it charged an additional $280 for Mario to put them In. Even if we add in the time for driving to our home and back, the entire service call took him well less than an hour.Worse, when I raised the issue with Ray, owner of Pali Plumbing, he wouldn’t discuss the charges with me. Neither he nor Mario could explain any rational basis for charging $280+ per hour for replacing these stops, except to tell me that “it’s not based on time.” (On what then? Lawyers who charge such rates spent years in law school….)It’s disheartening to learn that a company we’ve used for most of twenty years — even for our HOA when I was its president — has lost its judgment. And our business.

Mario showed up when promised, quickly took care of the problem. He was personable and very neat. I recommend without reservation.

Miguel Guzman of Palisades Plumbing repaired my toilet and cleared a drain. He was polite and efficient and I will call him first for any further work.

From the call to scheduling to the repair, everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly and responsive. I love that they send a photo of your technician so you know who to look for with ETA updates. I called with a disposal issue and Hector game out to repair it. He was so nice, so helpful and speedy! He gave me tips to prevent it from happening again and showed me how to do basic repairs on the disposal. Also, they had a technician out within an hour of me calling (thankfully!) Great experience all around.

We had a hot water leak inside of a wall. We called Palisades Plumbing who sensed it was a complex job (which it was) and sent us a smart, experienced plumber named Miguel. We had opened up the wall to discover that a leak in our copper piping had been spraying hot water into the insulation and wall itself (for maybe a day or two). Not only did Miguel do an incredible job replacing the corroded piping (see photos), he also removed an old-fashioned valve that was on the brink of failure, and replaced it with something that is easier to use and more reliable. His work was clean, his attitude was wonderful and we couldnt be happier that we called Palisades Plumbing.

Tried to schedule a simple job, they took a week to schedule it after I purchased the hardware, rescheduled once, didnt show and didnt call to say why. Had to drop them- my project in now a week delayed. I try to support local business, but they let me down.Also the price they quoted me was insane, but I went with it thinking Id just get it done.

Mario came out to fix our shower within the hour. It was a difficult and required a lot an elbow grease. He was friendly and professional. He updated me as he did his service. The total cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Palisades Plumbing.

Miguel did such a good job from start to finish, advising me on what needed replacing and/or repairing. Most importantly, I felt he was an honest plumber with the initial estimate and then the final cost of the work. I will certainly use Palisades Plumbing in the future.2 years later, 3/27/2024, Mario Martin repaired disconnected bathroom faucet and stopped the slow drip. He really knows his job. He even tightened the screws on the loose cabinet door, how is that for service!

We had a water leak under the floor of our garage. Mario diagnosed the issue, promptly repaired the pipe so we could turn our water back on then fixed the problem and recemented the floor. These guys are fast, experienced and honest. Theyre the best!

Did not fix the problem, came back next day and couldnt figure out the problem or fix it. We had to call another plumber who did fix it. They were there for 2 hours and did not know how to fix the leaks, and charged $555. The owner refused to provide a breakdown of the charges and just kept saying it was a difficult job, we have set prices but I cant tell you what the price is per item on the invoice, we just put it into the computer and it calculates it Based on what amount? I cant tell you. Only time we used them and never will again. And if the issue was fixed and the plumber was competent, I would have no problem paying the bill in full. But if you cannot fix the problem, and also cannot give details of why you charged what you charged, you are not in the business of plumbing. You are in the business of ripping people off. Stay away from these guys. If you want a plumber with integrity, these are not the guys to hire.

Fantastic company. Hector was amazing. Did a great job. After installing my new garbage disposal, he explained how I can keep my garbage disposal clean and in good working order. He taught me how to use the included tool to fix blades in case they got stuck. He showed me the restart button, if ever needed. The two men cleaned everything and took all old items away. Im delighted with their service.In the past, Hector unclogged a drain, with the same great skill and service.

I had an expensive plumbing repair done. The work was fine, but the office ignored my request for a breakout of parts versus labor.

I called them at 1:45 in the afternoon my water heater was busted and water was pouring out. By 6:00, only 4 hours later, they had a new water heater installed! Christmas is saved! Very impressive.

THIS IS WHY I support local businesses!!!!I have FOUR $1,000 (I cant believe how much they cost) Toto toilets in my recently renovated house. They come with the poop and pee buttons to supposedly save water. Thats BS. The one in my master simply would run and run and run after flushing. If you didnt know it - you could waste TONS of water without knowing it. I called Toto for service-support and they gave me some You Tube video about cleaning out a filter.I realized that I should get an expert in and I had Mario come over from Palisades Plumbing. I played him the video and he just laughed. This wasnt the problem at all. The seal was slipping at the bottom of the top of the toilet. He repaired it but then ALSO went to get the part and returned back a few days later to repair it once and for all.This problem that was SO ANNOYING is fixed completely and at a VERY FAIR price with respectful, in-the-know service.5-stars people. 5-stars.

Palisades Plumbing charged us $135 for a service call to fix a plumbing leak that we couldn’t diagnose on our own, but noticed the sink cabinet was soaked. Palisades Plumbing could not find the leak after 5-10 min of investigation despite our cabinet floor being soaked under our sink.I wasn’t happy considering we had to call a different plumber, who was more familiar with RO Systems apparently, and found two meaningful leaks in < 5 min. The new plumber fixed both of them at a lower price. The new plumber even changed an RO alkaline filter he noticed that had not been swapped out at no cost. How nice! However, when I called Palisades Plumbing to express my dismay about what occurred during our service visits, and suggested to apply our service call fee to a future visit as a courtesy, they simply said no. I think the courteous thing to do would have been to accommodate our request considering their inability to find the leak and only staying on site for only 5-10 min. Palisades Plumbing does not seem to be focused on cultivating long term customer relationships based on their response to customer concerns. That’s not how I would run a business, especially when you rely on repeat business and referrals in a community.

Miguel was absolutely wonderful! He was able to fix our toilet so that we would not have to replace it. He deserves a raise. Thank you, Miguel.

Mr. Guzman worked very hard to unclog the drain leading from my washing machine. Although he wasnt sure it would remain unclogged it has worked perfectly for nearly 24 hours with many uses of my new washer!

Im disappointed to say that Palisades Plumbing could not fix the stoppage in my kitchen drain and recommended I call Sunset Plumbing. Sunset was able to fix it in minutes and said that they are often referred by Palisades Plumbing when they cant do the job. Naturally, Im going to call Sunset first and save a $130 service charge and having to wait for two service calls.

Work completed very well. I just thought their costs were a little high compared to their previous work.

Miguel Guzman at Palisades Plumbing repaired two faucets for us quickly and efficiently. He could have simply replaced them, but he took the time to disassemble them and repair them - saving us money. The Palisades Plumbing prices are not cheap, but the quality of the work justifies them.

We have used Palisades Plumbing for many years, always with good results. Usually Joe comes to the house and he has never failed to fix the problem. I had a question for him about the turn off valve and he checked it and gave it the all-clear.We highly recommend this business.1-15-24. Our most recent experience was this morning. We had a major problem with a leak inside the wall behind the hot water heater. Mario came out very quickly and diagnosed the problem. It was a difficult situation because of limited access from inside the house but Mario found the solution. We now call him the pipe whisperer because of his almost uncanny ability to zero in on where the trouble is and fix it very efficiently.

Mario & Palisades Plumbing are the best - came right over when I broke a sprinkler pipe. Replaced improved product and just the nicest guy ever. Highly recommend!

Called Friday morning to fix broken shower control. They were on site in less than 2 hours. I had a very old valve assembly and they had to go to a warehouse to find the part but were back in an hour and installed it. Great job Joe!

Dependable, great service. Always available when you need them. Helped solve some very difficult problems (water hammer). I highly recommend them.

The prices of this company are outrageous. I was told on the phone that the service charge, just to come out would be $175.00, and this amount of $175.00 would be adjusted in the bill. For a 30 mins job , I was billed $600.00 and even the amount of $175 was not adjusted in the bill. The plumber had replaced 6 of copper tubing but billed me for 10 feet of tubing. The bill was as shady as the work. Would never use them again. Use them, if you want to get ripped off. The attitude of the Plumber is unmentionable. Only good part was that the work was done.

I had a leak in one of 3 toilets that were installed at the same time. Palisades Plumbing came the next day and not only repaired it immediately, they arranged to replace the other two, thereby preventing two future problems. The other two showed the same signs of wear, but were not failing at this time. Good proactive service, thank you!!!
