Can’t recommend Tom and Handyman Unlimited enough. Had such a great experience with them that we have already asked them back for a second project. People: Tom, the office, and the crew were all great people. Enjoyed talking to all of them. Problem solvers: with any project there are going to be unexpected obstacles. We had more than a couple but all issues were accompanied by solutions…so we ran into this, and this is how we’re going to handle it. Was amazing and reassuring and their solutions were always ideal. Price: quote was competitive and way worth it with how seamless and strong the work is. The Work: they take pride in what they do and it shows in their work. From Tom right on down to each crew member it felt like they love what they do and love making people happy. We have a new deck, a new patio roof, they refurbished our fences…and we asked them back to re-stucco the house without even bothering to get a quote from someone else. These guys are top notch from start to finish and we will be calling Tom for all future projects.

As an interior designer, its so important to work with contractors who value craftsmanship, are trustworthy, and execute the design intent. Handyman Unlimited is all that and more! I recently completed the design on a full home remodel working with Handyman Unlimited which included structural work to open up the space, a complete kitchen demo, 3 fully remodeled bathrooms, built-in cabinetry, all new flooring and paint, new lighting and plumbing throughout, and even some exterior structural work! Tom Cardona is wonderful to work with. I appreciate his openness to a new design ideas and ability to problem solve when the inevitable comes up. He is quick to respond and easy to get a hold of which is so important! I can honestly say all his workers do a wonderful job in their respective trades and helped make my job easier. Handyman Unlimited helped make my design and my clients dream become a reality...highly recommend to any homeowner!

A general contractor can clearly be characterized by the subs he employs. That being said, Tom Cardona, owner of Handyman Unlimited in La Verne is outstanding and his entire crew is exceptional. Tom oversaw the major construction project of redoing our newly purchased home. We chose Handyman Unlimited because of its reputation and decades of experience. Our 3,700 square foot residence was basically torn down to the studs as walls were opened up, every appliance, bathroom fixture etc., removed. Tom was in constant communication with us and our designer, Stevie Nichol Interiors. In fact, if there was a question that needed answered, Tom replied within minutes. On another note, Tom is a perfectionist. The electrician, plumber, cabinetry maker, painter, tile installer (I’ll deem an artist in his craft), etc., take great pride in their work and it shows. His workers were also considerate of our time and space while being extremely efficient. Tom was instrumental in every possible way as this home project has come to completion. What I envisioned as my dream home is just that!

With contractors being so busy these days, I so appreciated how consistently responsive Tom was. He and his team did a difficult upstairs bathroom renovation for me. They also did a beautiful job painting the outside of my house. If I wasnt 100% satisfied, Tom bent over backwards to alleviate my concerns. And he even fixed the lock on my outdoor shed for free! Also, Toms assistant Stephanie is a real gem! She helped me make decisions and even shopped with me twice. You can depend on Handyman Unlimited.

Handyman Unlimited was phenomenal from beginning to end. We had a minor flood due to a pipe burst in our wall and it made quite the mess. I cant believe how good the drywall replacement came out. Every from thr patching, texturing and painting is absolutely perfect. You really cant tell there were massive holes there before.Since they did such an amazing job on the drywall repair I decided to hire them to replace a door in my garage and an exterior light. Again, the installer did flawless job and I now have an awesome steel door that will never rot as well as a video enebled, motion activated flood light in the back yard.All of the staff and workers must be mentioned as well. Ive never been so impressed with the level of courtesy and professionalism that all of Handyman Unlimiteds people provided. They care about the customer, take pride in their work and they ensure youre happy with every detail before leaving. I can understand getting one good guy to work for you, they sent four different people out, each person was a master of their specific trade and they all had the same high level of care and respect for the customer that just doesnt happen anymore.Its easy to say I HIGHLY recommend Handyman Unlimited as theyre the only handyman and general contractor youll ever need.

5 STARS, EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS! Tom Cardona (owner) and his handymen absolutely killed it! We gave Tom a rather large task list with a very tight deadline and on very short notice. We put all our trust and faith in one man (and his company) and he delivered in a big way! Literally finished a total kitchen remodel, floor replacement, interior paint, canned lights with numerous add-on tasks (bathroom update with new finishes, fireplace and drywall projects, hanging flat screen TVs and many other odds and ends) within a months time before we needed the house to move in. Were extremely satisfied and beyond thrilled with our new home. Will be using Tom and his crew again and again!Trustworthy, dependable, efficient, responsive, communicative, transparent, affordable, reasonable, professional are just a few words that come to mind in dealing with Tom and his peeps.Its hard for me to imagine others having a negative experience, but our dealings were almost exclusively with Tom (likely because of the size and scope of the job) and was always on time, always responsive and always fair. The Mrs. also wants me to point out that Toms handymen were also extremely professional, respectful, pleasant, on-time and communicative. They were essentially an extension of Tom and that was much appreciated. Tom does what he says, doesnt make surprises and was always a call or text away during the entire process. We did a couple walk throughs together and if we pointed something out, he would agree and fix it. Just an absolute pleasure.Thank you Tom! Have some repair tasks around the house and you weren’t sure who to contact - not just plumbing or electrical or roofing but not big enough for a full blown remodeling contractor? That was my situation and Handyman Unlimited was my solution. I had dry rot in some major roof beams and they replaced them expertly. The company’s philosophy is relationship building - serving customers for the long term - small jobs and large jobs and anything in-between. I should add that Handyman Unlimited is a full contractor so they can do any type of remodeling or new construction. They are the answer to so many of my fix up/replace/add on situations.

I hired them twice for jobs. On both occasions the work was highly satisfactory. About three weeks ago I called them again because I have a small leak on the roof of the add on garden room at the back of the house. Im elderly and was told by my doctor not to climb ladders anymore The guy came out looked at the job, took some measurements and a photo of where the leak was then said he would get back to me with an estimate. Never saw or heard from him again.

Handman Unlimted has been out to my home several times, and always on time. I’ve had an attic ladder/access put in, an outside faucet replaced, and had them repair my ceiling after a hole appeared because of a leaky AC unit. The hole happened while I was on vacation, a family member let them in and I came home to a complete and perfect repair with no mess left behind. I’ve felt great about their pricing, products, and their honesty about what I want done and what it’s gonna take.

Ruben from this company did an excellent job when he and his worker demolished a existing retaining wall and removed the dirt behind it to make way for a new wall and concrete pathway around a air conditioner unit.

If you want to lose your money, this is it. We called them and the handyman did not follow our instructions. It looked like the handyman was in a hurry and want to get things done quickly. We asked them to pull old TV cables in the hosue and the handyman was pulling telephone cables. We spent close to $200 just to fix a door stopper. Try someone else who can provide quality service at affordable prices

I met with Mike Thomason, their field supervisor on Wednesday July 3rd to go over the proposed job. This was after waiting several days for him to come out, in town I might add. He listened to me and took pictures and said that he would get back to me. It is now over 2 weeks and I never heard back. Maybe it was too small or too big of a job, or something that they do not like to do, but the least that he could have done is let me know one way or another. This is poor customer service and I will look elsewhere.

Ive used them over the years for fixes and maintenance, and last for a new front door installation that really made a difference! They are great at what they do, and the finish work is always professional.

Tom & the crew at Handyman Unlimited do TIMELY, quality work where other companies sometimes fall short or cut corners. The management team and Project Managers are very clear and thorough in their communication with customers and seem to genuinely want customers to be informed and satisfied with the work of their crew which is refreshing! We have now done multiple projects with Handyman Unlimited, including exterior paint (which all of our neighbors love), internal networking/wiring and gutters with a rain water storage solution. Super happy with their work and the value of what you get for the price paid when weve used others in the past who were cheaper and didnt stand by their work and would not return to fix things we paid for. Handyman Unlimited is a one-stop shop with skilled General Contractors and I love that weve been able to do projects in phases!

From a very reliable source, I was referred to Tom Cardona for several home improvement projects. I found Tom to be very professional at all times. He understood the direction of the project, and what we were trying to accomplish. His background with the crafts that we needed for the project were evident. His recommendations for the job were prudent and helpful towards our desired outcome.His crew was respectful, completed the jobs as requested and they were willing to listen to our needs for each project. This included painting, popcorn ceilings, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, lighting, window coverings and other tasks that evolved during the work.We are folks that are pretty particular and wanted the smallest detail addressed. Tom did not have any issues with any of our request.I recommend him highly would ask Tom to come back and address any further issues we may have with our home. Helpful staff and great service

Massive overcharge.Had the company give me a estimate on just installing a few doors. ONLY installing the door no painting, casing, or extra work.Charging $1540 to hang 4 bedroom doors with no repair, paint, or casing. Even if they worked slow and it took 2 hrs per door that would come out to somewhere around $200 a hour. Estimates do not include material or 3% credit card charge.Also charged $935 for the laundry door that they said is the garage door (garage man door is past this door and fire resistant) . This door is not fire resistant and does not require extra work. I hung a temp door when we moved in so I know this door will not be complicated to hang.If you have the time just do your own work, if not I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This company is great. I had them remodel a small kitchen in a condo that I rent to my daughter and grandchildren. I didn’t want my family to be out of their home too long and Tom got the job done in two weeks. I was amazed how professional all the workers were. They were on time, always left the place clean and kept me informed of the progress. I will definitely use them again.Sue Goding

Once again, Handyman Unlimited saves the day. Last night our water heater went out, and flooded part of the garage. They came out after hours to help. We drained the old water heater over night. This morning Cole came to install the new water heater and had us up and running with hot water quickly. Handyman Unlimited has handled several projects at my home and will always be our first call.

Handyman Unlimited built a block wall for us. Tom, Ruben and Jorge did an excellent job. They were professional, knowledgeable, and timely. We are very happy with the wall and plan to use their services in the future.

I bought a home 4 months ago and nothing had been done in almost 25 years. Everything was original. So lots or work to do.After interviewing numerous general contractors I went with Handyman Unlimited as they did a bathroom remodel at the old home with great results.Long story short,we took everything down to the drywall. The house is now our palace. Ive heard plenty of horror stories with GCs but it couldnt have gone any better (although we might of got carried away with our wish list). They showed up when they were supposed to and there were very few down days. Great scheduling for sure.I would highly recommend them to anyone that was looking for any type of general contracting work.

I have Handyman Unlimited out to my house about two times a month, They have completed large jobs from my electrical wiring on my outdoor living room, to recessed lighting and small jobs putting together furniture, they are always professional and prompt and may not be the cheapest but arent the most expensive either. I had an emergency the other day and they came through, I think they are well worth it and highly recommend them, and Im not the easiest customer to please

I am a contractor and they are attempting to charge $155.00 to patch a ceiling. MASSIVE over charge, doing poor work on duck cleaning, only as far as they can reach, at $155.00 per hour>>>>>Off the charts outrageous...
