Pennies is amazing! My heater stopped working the week before Christmas. I called Pennies on a Sunday and they sent out a technician right away. The technician, Filmon, recommended we replaced the furnace due to internal failure. We knew it was an old unit so this didn’t surprise me. We agreed on price and scheduled repair for Wednesday. Wednesday comes and Jesus and his crew showed up. Jesus explained in more detail the benefits of replacing our old AC unit and ducting along with the furnace. I wasn’t planning on replacing everything especially this close to Christmas, but Jesus explained everything in thorough detail that I knew I would be in good hands. Jesus walked me through financing option and my family had a whole new system installed and ready to use by Thursday. I am thankful for Pennies and Jesus and his crew for performing such a big repair on such short notice! I will definitely be referring them to my friends and Family.

Well bad me for just looking at the unit, but I had these guys come out for a diagnostic on 08/19/24 and just discovered, after talking with my electrician they disassembled my ac disconnect fuse box, several parts of the disconnect box were missing and the tech didnt mention the box had fused. The main office has done well to address that the tech didnt discuss the issue with their policies, and I appreciate their time in talking with me about it. Tech was knowledgeable when talking on the phone with them.

Pennies was one of many companies that gave me a quote for a new HVAC system. They were the only company that was thorough and checked the duct work. Gave me a really good price and completed the work in roughly 5 hours. Very friendly and professional. This was my second interaction with the company and both times I could not have asked for more. Switched from gas to electric with a heat pump. Great service and using well known brands.

On July 4, my air conditioner finally gave out. I called several AC companies in the area, and Pennies responded immediately. Within an hour, Joel arrived, assessed the damage, and helped me choose a suitable replacement unit. The following day, Steven installed a new furnace and AC, and later, Joel installed a modern thermostat. The house is cool again, thanks to Pennies! They truly came through during my emergency and made our home livable again. Thank you!

Jesus and his crew showed up bright and early and worked way more than a full days worth of work. They ripped out and installed a whole new system in 1 day. Even though they worked crazy hours, the quality and attention to detail can be seen in the work they did. My old system was messed up and broke down every year. Within minutes of arriving, Jesus diagnosed the inherent system issues with ducting and intake sizes and told me what was needed to be done to make sure the new system would run correctly and efficiently to make sure I got my moneys worth. The crew cleaned up after themselves that you wouldnt even notice they were there. After the job was complete, he walked me around the system and showed me everything, helped set up the nest, and told me the maintence requirements. Excellent customer service and will use them in the future.

These folks are great! I called on Thursday afternoon, the tech...Filmon...called me right back and set an appointment for the next day, between 11 and 2. He showed at 11:15 and could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. He laid out the options without any overt up-selling, finished the job expertly and just did a great job. My A/C failed on a hot day. The tech showed up only a couple of hours after I called, diagnosed the problem in seconds, and finished the repair literally a few minutes later. Very efficient and knowledgeable.

The owner came over to my and took a look at my system and gave me a way lower price said I didnt need to replace the entire unit just needed to fix something and now my system works like new. Pennies is a awesome company when it comes to air conditioning repair I wanted to replace my air conditioning system to central air, which normally is very expensive and time consuming. Pennies arranged to have it done the same day and within an hour!!! 😁. I was able to make it to work on time. Great company.

So my capacitor went out and Johnny was able to help me out very quickly and efficiently with what I needed to fix the issue. We needed to have our entire HVAC system replaced. Jesus and Pedro came out the same day we called, checked everything out and gave us an estimate. They were very polite and extremely knowledgeable. Recently had my AC/Heater repaired by Pennies, specifically AC technician Filmon. Very communicative, friendly and professional. He was able to identify the issue with our unit and schedule a day for the repair. No issues or concerns and our unit is running like new again, thank you Filmon and Pennies! My only note is we were quoted a number at the beginning and ultimately signed the receipt at a slightly different price. Filmon said it was due to taxes. It would have been great to know the exact pricing for repair upfront (taxes included) that’s all. Otherwise, great service and knowledgeable technician, thanks so much.

Responded really quick. Was actually quoted at a really good price on a complete AC install except ducting. I did the ducting a year prior already. Definitely made sure the system was installed up to code and absolutely no air leaks. I would say don’t be scared/skeptical of the good price. The tech was well mannered as well. A+ for sure.

Just wanted to say Pennies Air Conditioning, Heating, & Solar’s Jesus & Johnnie were great to work with on quoting a price for the demo of our old 1983 split system in the attic & outside which was on its last leg. They answered all our questions and Jesus showed us the bad on the old AC system which was barely working in the attic (hands on in the attic when he visited to provide a quote), then provided different options which fell within our budget and were actually lower than the previous quotes from other subcontractors, Jesus also went over all the controls and simple maintenance to keep our system running efficient and cool in the beginning and a second time before they left. They were careful not to track any debris in or out of the house and cleaned up when they were finished, as this was a large 2 day project. These gentlemen are very professional. I called on Sunday to set up an appointment. They came out Monday morning to give me a quote to replace my system. I agreed the price was fair and they had a crew there 3 hours later to replace the heater and ac. The crew worked until the job was done. Late into the evening. Im still shocked how fast they took care of me. The install was clean and they disposed of the old unit. A+ all the way. I highly recommend.

We had Filmon come out to inspect our HVAC system and he immediately was able to determine that our motherboard was fried and needed replacing. I called because I had an issue with my HVAC and got an appointment for the next day at 10am. Filmon was there at 9am and knew exactly what the issue was just by explaining half the problem. Filmon was efficient and very knowledgeable and gave me the best option. I will definitely call back again if I have any issues.

Wow! What can I say, my first time contacting Pennies and had the best service I could ever ask for. Had some wire issues with my AC, and Flimon was able to get the job done! Super fast and came right on time. He stayed a little after the job was done to make sure everything was working properly! I highly recommend Pennies!

I requested a service end of August and the owner scheduled Mr Filmon to do the service. The tech checked the upstairs AC and he quoted me $560 to change the transformer. I agree with the amount although it looks expensive. He then checked downstairs AC and he said that I need to change the thermostat. He then quoted me $721 and this includes transformer, and a wireless thermostat Kit. I said yes, to the quote which I regret. He came back the next day with the Honeywell thermostat kit, but he didnt finish installing since according to him, he still need to change the contactor outside and quoted me another $528.16. At that point, he gave me no guarantee that the AC will work even if he change the contactor. I said no to the third quote as I already spent $1,281. I emailed the owner and he responded quickly to my concerns. He asked the tech to call me but unfortunately I missed his call. I called the tech back, texted him and no reply or response. So after spending money, AC downstairs is still not working. The tech is also rude.

Excellent customer service on the phone and in person. They sent someone to check on the problem I was having the same day I called. Filmon explained everything thoroughly and in a way I understood! Would definitely 100% recommend them for all your ac/heating needs.

Had a wasp guy accidentally switch the furnace offer didn’t know we thought the hvac system was done for. Called another company, they told us the switch was just off BUT was pushing for an entire system replacement and scared us saying carbon monoxide was leaking. Got a second opinion . Ask for Filmon.. They said if your furnace went out (which it didn’t) why would a company push for an ENTIRE system replacement when you could just replace the furnace. He said our system is old but fine. Mind you my brother is an engineer for Carrier the inventors of AC and Furnace, my brother said the same thing it looks fine. No replacement for $15k is needed. If you want honesty go with these guys. I paid for a second opinion and I got an honest one that made sense. Ask for Filmon he knows his stuff and the way he explains everything is with honesty and in a way I understood. So glad I got the second opinion.

Filmon did a fantastic job diagnosing the source of the heating system creating noise in the house as a faulty valve. He showed up on time with very little notice. My appointment was the same day as I called and returned right away for the fix. The answering service communication was great and professional. My calls never went to voicemail.

Had one of my 24yr old original a/c units go out in the house. Pennies was out within a couple of days and had a new unit (compressor and furnace/fan) installed in one day. Great team, knows what theyre doing, professional. Had a main drain line clog (probably from having a better a/c installed) dripping water out of the secondary drain line. They came out on a Sunday to check it, and resolved the issue quickly. They stand by their work, highly recommend to anyone in the area needing a/c services.

Had my A/C stop working overnight, when the next day it was supposed to be 104°. Naturally I was worried. I left a message before their business hours, they contacted me shortly after they opened. Quoted me a reasonable window for service with the commitment that they would get to my house sooner if possible. They followed up and were able to arrive two hours early before things really got hot. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly (after making a quick joke about how I needed a whole new compressor, which I actually appreciated as it had been a stressful morning). Quoted me an out the door price. Quickly made the repair, checked to make sure everything was working fine and then was gone. The tech did point out a few things that may require maintenance or replacement down the line, but made no hard sell to do unnecessary work. Which was also appreciated. I would gladly use this company again.

The pilot on my wall heater would not stay lit. The technician whose name is Filmon arrived on time. He was courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and did the repairs efficiently. He had the new part in his work van, inserted the thing and tested the pilot several times to make sure it worked before leaving. Issac came out today to check out my ac unit it was not blowing enough air to each room through the air duct vents. Issac had to get up into my attic to see what was going on with it come to find out my ac duct system was falling apart. I read the reviews had one exact experience, after two days my heater stop working after pennies came out, they did fix and working like it should, but I had to pay an additional 75!! they didn’t fix problem the first time but I’m the one they paid for their mistake??!

Great service from Filmon. Our AC went out and he came within 20 minutes of calling. He found the problem within 5 minutes (capacitor), and replaced it in 5 minutes more. He knew his stuff. Very happy with the work. We did not have maintenance on the unit, so we took a hit on the cost.
