Don was delightful and knowledgeable.His Installers installed a water heater on my second floor unit. They did a great job. The price wasnt too bad either. I would definitely be calling this company again to help with any problems that I get later on.

Once I noticed a leak in my kitchen I did a yelp search and found fathers & sons and reached out for an assessment and estimate. Their response time was almost immediate. I spoke with Don (the father) and he was very courteous and professional, and also very knowledgeable of the matter. It didn’t know much of the source or cause of the leak and he was able to explain it to me in terms I could understand. Don and his team were very efficient, they were able to asses and fix the problem within a couple of hours. Overall, excellent service and I would recommend them

Don was specifically understanding and the installers for our new water heater on second floor were competent because it was not an easy job to navigate the new heater into the closet that houses it. They just left and we have to wait about an hour for the water to be hot! Highly recommend this plumbing company.

The son is the one who came out. He got my Bosch tankless water heater working right with just a couple of simple adjustments. I highly recommend using Father & Son Plumbing. I was told by a contractor I trusted that I would need all my lines replaced in my house. When I called Father and Son they told me that wasnt necessary, and showed me that the previous work by my contractor wasnt even glued together. They saved me tens of thousands of dollars by just doing an honest job and actually fixing the real problems . In the process they also meticulously photographed the work by request. They were extremely easy to deal, very responsive and listened to my concerns. They arent going to try to fix problems that arent there, these are honest plumbers.

This was the best phone call Ive ever made. My home is in escrow and the buyers had a sewer inspection. The report came back that the sewer was out of code and had numerous issues which would cost a fortune to repair. I have lived in this home for 17 years and never had plumbing problems or sewer backups.I decided to get my own sewer inspection and called Father & Son Sewer Inspections.Don and Brandon were wonderful. They explained everything they were doing and I watched on camera. The buyers report was inaccurate in all areas. Don (the father) provided a proposal for descaling and hydro-jetting our main sewer line that was mid-range in price, but we chose him primarily for his sewer plumbing experience and responsiveness to our needs. He gave me contact information for 2 references so that I could ask questions that were important to me. I dont believe it is prudent to rely too heavily on online reviews. Initially, I was a little uncomfortable with his use of a sub-contractor to do the work--apparently it requires specialized equipment, too expensive for general plumbers. But he assured me that he would supervise closely and that he had used Antonio satisfactorily for many years. The end result was a good job. I received a before and after video of the sewer line. At my request, Don made a contingency plan with firm scheduling and pricing in case the descaling revealed pipe defects that would require cure-in-place-pipe lining. Fortunately, the additional work was not needed.

Replaced all of my old rusted and busted pipes underneath our house, installed a clean outlet, and fixed a bath tub drain. I would definitely recommend and hire them again!

We suddenly weren’t getting hot water in our guest shower. And go figure, in less than a week we were expecting family who’d be staying with us from out of town. To save our guests from taking icy cold showers I called Don and Brandon. They were able to get out to my home quickly, arrived on schedule, and promptly diagnosed the problem (it was an issue with the shower cartridge).I thought I’d have to replace the part (and I should stress that Don and Brandon don’t upcharge their clients for parts) but they took the time to further inspect the issue and it turned the cartridge didn’t even need to be replaced, it had just been installed incorrectly. In no time my shower was back to getting hot water!At the end of the day I was blown away by their professionalism, expertise, and fair pricing.This was my first time using Father & Son and it won’t be the last. Another excellent experience with Father & Son (second time using them). This is the best plumbing contractor that I have ever worked with. This time there was a minor issue during the job. Installed Bradford White water heater under Whites replacement warranty, but warranty did not include labor. I decided to opt for installation to code because of past improper installation by another company. Even though installation to code was very pricey, Father and Son did a good job and it was my decision to go this route.

This dynamic duo of father and son knew precisely what the problem(s) were and zero’d in on a cost effective, efficient solution. The drain pipes that were under my house, difficult to access and original from 1951, were rotted out and leaking noxious material onto the dirt. Also, I couldn’t get hot water in my kitchen sink (the presenting problem) in spite of having a recirculating pump installed years ago. Don (father) apparently loves a puzzle, and he took it on as a challenge to figure out why it wasn’t working. Quicker than it takes you to read this, the complexities were unraveled and now I have pippin hot water in my sink AND fresh new drain pipes.As a single, senior woman I am all to aware of how easily I can be ripped off by repairmen. Both are an old school professional. He explained everything, took pictures, made suggestions and gave me an EXCELLENT PRICE for work that was unexpected (the drains) but suddenly needed to be done. He not only took care of the job itself, but he knocked off a couple of minor repairs on my wish list. Generous, conscientious, knowledgeable, committed to providing excellent service.Finally, a plumber I can trust! I’m so relieved to have someone that I know will give me the straight scoop, back it up with pictures and evidence and then give me a great price.Straight A+

I own a Shopping Center in Thousand Oaks. I ran into a major problem whereby the plumber we had been using assured me he could take care of an expensive fix below the Ventura County Storm Drain. He started digging holes in our parking lot and caused a gigantic mess and then ghosted me by walking off the job without any response with a commercial building very close to having to shut down because of a broken pipe that he did not fix. I was in a serious mess. I discovered Father & Son on Angies list after going through multiple plumbers, including others on Angies list where the solution was to replace an entire line at a cost of 65K to 89K. Father & Son saved the day. Yes, the solution was expensive but less than 50% of other plumbers and some did not even want to handle it. Result: I didnt need to replace the entire line and only had to fix the broken pipe under the storm drain. They are honest, trustworthy and dont want to do work unless truly needed. What a relief to find them. I have been using them every since this major problem was fixed in Feb. 2023. PS, My final cost would have been 2/3 of what I had to pay had they not have to correct the problems caused by the first plumber. For long term hold of property be it residential or commercial, these are people you can trust and are fair. Owner of Father & Son has multiple decades of being in the business and is no-nonsense and direct when it comes to what is really needed. I am grateful I found them.

Don and Brandon were excellent. Having a water heater go out is stressful and something you want repaired immediately. But having to find someone to install it for you is also stressful. Don and Brandon made it easy. They gave us a fair quote and walked us through our options and where the numbers came from.
