I have used SGS twice this year and I have been very pleased with the professional and timely service. When I needed a new gas service replaced the project was done and the gas turned back on in one day. The next day the city approved the installation and SGS returned to fill the trench and complete the job.A few months later I had to have a water heater replaced. Of course I called them and just as before I had the same excellent service. And the new baby had hot water the same night for his bath.I highly recommend SGS. Great service from the office staff and the technicians.

SoCal Gas shut me off saying I had a leak and that I needed my own contractor to repair it. I called SGS, luckily they were able to come out right away. The techs Victor & Louie explained to me the different options that I had in repairing the leak without spending all my savings!! I needed a new gas line & SGS was able to install it professionally. SGS technician Nick quickly correctly diagnosed the problem with my direct vent wall heater. Nick then replaced the thermostat and I now should be good for many years with warm heat.

Jorge and Alexander came over to diagnose a gas leak in my home. They methodically searched for the leak finding an old gas line pipe going up through between two adjoining walls to an old connection hidden within the walls. They were able to cut the old pipe and cap it off fixing the gas leak for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them and Safe Gas Services for any gas service needs and repairs.Henry-

I discovered a gas leak at my home on a Sunday evening SOCAL turn my gas off and SGS responded quickly diagnosed the issue which I already knew but double checked it anyway and then proceeded to draw up a plan to install new gas pipes throughout my home.All of the personnel were very courteous, very professional totally knowledgeable in what they were doing. Explained to me what they were doing along the way, and my house is not easy it’s old 85 years and they were able to navigate it with no problem.. The office staff was equally as helpful especially Marissa and Randy and Fabian. I want to complement David and Nick the technicians and then there were several other fellows that worked with them getting everything installed checking everything dealing with the permit and getting it inspected and working with the inspector.. I highly recommend this company if you need work done of a complicated nature they did an excellent job.

I had a leak in my shower faucet and a broken sewer main. Safe Gas fixed the leak and installed a service panel for the shower. They dug up the broken sewer pipe and replaced it with PVC pipe. Everything is working great and the place was left spotless. I would highly recommend.

We needed to re pipe our existing gas line to fit the needs of our renovation project. These guys knocked it out the park. Quick service! On time! And price was very fair compared to other quotes I recieved.

We just bought a house and SoCal Gas shut off our gas because of a gas leak and couldnt find the source. I wasnt sure who to call. I found a plumber who recommended a gas leak detection company who came and identified a source of a gas leak. The plumber came and fixed a leak but SoCal Gas said we still had a leak! I just knew I had to find someone who could do both--test and fix the gas leaks at the same time and then look for others. I found SGS through a friend who swore by them. I called on a Sunday night and Marissa sent me her top guy the next morning. David is the absolute BEST! He and Billy came out and were extremely professional and they isolated different sections of my house to find the source. A couple days later a whole crew came and fixed everything. I have been dealing with this gas leak for over 3 weeks and David and his crew are the absolute best. Dont even bother calling anyone else if you have a gas leak. Just ask for David at SGS!

7am, the gas company knocks on our door and says weve got a leak and theyve shut us off. Within 2 hours Safe Gas was there, found the leak and starting replacing our main line. We were back with gas on in 48 hours, and still had enough hot water to get us thru another day.From the initial call thru follow up after they were completed Safe Gas was absolutely amazing. Professional, unbelievably hard working, and meticulous attention to detail are just a few of the reasons they get 5 stars. They were extremely careful with our landscaping and 2 days after you couldnt even tell the ground had been disturbed. A technician from this company installed a gas valve at my house and did a good job, and then told me they do plumbing too which I needed. I booked a plumber to come Friday 1-5pm, when I called them at 2:30pm to check up in when they will arrive, they said traffic is bad and it will take them 2 hours to arrive and asked to move it to the following day, Saturday 9-11am. On Saturday, at 10:45, when no one contacted me, I called again, only to find out they are only now leaving the office and wont be there before 12. Since I had plans I canceled and didnt rebook them. Very disappointing service. I give 2 stars and not one because of the previous technician.

I’m so glad the apartment manager called on you guys. The entire toilet needed to be replaced in my second floor unit bathroom. Jorge was kind and respectful from the moment I opened the door. He was very quick and expedient with removing, carrying, replacing, and making sure the new one worked properly. He even took the time to have me flush the water to make sure I saw that it works well. And what’s more, he must have cleaned up whatever mess there may have been because it was ready to use by the time I saw it.

We contacted Safe Gas Services after a plumbing emergency at our multi-family unit building and were given a prompt proposal for what repairs would be needed. The cost was reasonable and the job was completed efficiently and effectively. Lifesavers. They did spectacular work replacing the old, corroded gas pipes under my mom’s house and restoring my peace of mind. Jorge and Ben from SGS did a great job of removing the stoppage in our main sewer line. The also found the cause, offset pipes, and fixed the connection so that we wouldn’t have any more problems. They were diligent, resourceful and courteous. I have been using SGS for many years and have always had a good experience.

SGS replaced a 50 foot 4 inch main drain for me that tied into the city sewer line. It was completely clogged with roots and could not be cleaned. It required going through a poured concrete wall and digging through the street as well as a planter area. Their high quality work was well coordinated, completed ahead of schedule, and very reasonably priced. I have since referred them to others.
