Thanksgiving would not have been a wonderful event this year if it were not for the professional staff at A1 Best Plumbing. We had a major blockage Thanksgiving morning and we tried and tried to unblock it ourselves but in the end we knew we needed help with guest coming.We called A1 Plumbing and they arrived in less than an hour. I had an emergency early this morning. Called A1, spoke to Vincent who was great. Then Ron and Dominique came and diagnosed the problem. They did a temporary fix to tide me over until tomorrow morning. I’ll give an update then. Super nice people. Maybe a little expensive, but it was an emergency situation.Update: the next day, German and Sebastian came to install a new water heater, piping etc. they text you when they’re on their way, and there’s an app showing you where they are. I thought that was hilarious for some reason, probably unnecessary, but great anyway. German and Sebastian were very friendly, and I think read the room well: I was freaking out, they were super polite and supportive. German did most of the work, I think Sebastian was basically apprenticing. They installed everything, and German pointed out some issues with my plumbing, which I knew about, but he explained it in a really clear way. They really were awesome, and these guys are my new plumbers, which hopefully I’ll never need again, but you never know.They also have a repair service who will do a small job for me on Monday. I’ll add to this review after that, but I expect they’ll be great.

Vincent and his team did an incredible job! His team came down to do the shower repair this morning and replaced a stem, a handle, and pushed back the spout that was protruding out a little.No more rapid leaks in my shower! Had a really nasty experience with grey water gurgling up into my kitchen sink this past weekend. couldnt get a hold of the HOA on time so called a company that told me 2 hr waiting time. by then the HOA called back and said they have A1 Best Plumbing on the line and they can be there within the hr. of course i took the lesser time and talked with Vincent for a second and he assured me he had his team member Leo on the job. Leo arrived under an hour and handle everything in a timely matter and was very polite. hope it never happens again but I would call A1 again if needed.

The folks at Coastline Environmental/A1 plumbing are truly first class. Our factory was hit by a Tornado in Montebello and completely devestated the factory. These guys speak the insurance language and know how to navigate under these stressful circumstances. They take over so that you can get on with your normal day to day while they tackle the work. Araceli was an excellent project manager with daily updates, before and after photos, kept crew and tasks on time, and provided the best communication Ive seen in a long time. If you can imagine how much damage an F1 tornado can do to your business from structural, plumbing, environmental, electrical, etc, these guys made it to where I could sleep well at night knowing that Im in good hands. A-1 Best Plumbing responded to my residence within 30 mins of my panic call to them. My sump pump went crazy and water was splashing in the entire sub basement. They worked repairing a broken PVC pipe after hours of work to successfully redirect the water flow to the water basin and out. Thankfully, the following day they returned with a new sump pump. Plumber charged me a $400 investigation fee for doing 30 minutes of looking at my house and finding the source of a leak - and that was going to be in addition to any repairs, which he estimated at over $1500. He even wanted to charge me $150 to go get parts. I paid the $400 and got a new plumber - will NEVER call this company again. My entire repair with a reputable plumber: $450.

Our kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower all plugged up one evening. I called A-1 Best Plumbing the next morning and they were out working on it. After trying unsuccessfully to unclog it, the diagnosis came back that my pipes were too corroded and needed replacing. As we have a slab house, that required a jackhammer and lotsa muscles. The team worked on it all week and we were back to normal in a few days. The bill was lower than expected! I would use them again.

Vince and his installer Jim saved Thanksgiving. The night before Thanksgiving we came home and our tankless water heater had quit on us. We began calling around in hopes to find a plumber who might have a tankless water heater on their truck or in their warehouse. Vince said he didnt have one but might be able to get one in the morning. He also recommended calling some of the bigger companies that night as they might have one in stock. Needless to say we couldnt find one that night and Vince went to work early on Thanksgiving morning. He found a warehouse that would open up for him and was able to get the parts needed. Jim arrived quickly and got to work. We are thankful for Jim who did sacrifice time with his family to get us up and running. Needed a plumber on Tuesday night at 7pm when we noticed that our toilets are clogged. Vince and his assistance came out within 25 min and cleaned the sewer line within 10 min.They were ver friendly. Stayed even cool when we discussed with them how do the job. Quick, clean and very knowledgeable. Pricing is a bit on the high end but they got the job done.
