Amerbuild Construction & Remodeling

Rami, the owner of Amerbuild built my JADU. It was difficult to choose a contractor without a reference since I didn’t know anyone who did similar project. I contacted around 20 contractors over two years periods before my wife & I decided to do business with Rami. His price was in the upper half of the ~15 estimates we got. But my wife and I liked him as a person of character to do business with since he was willing to educate us and he wasn’t pushing to sell; which is rare in America. Moreover, his payment plan was per inspection completion, so that we knew he would do a great job. He also advised us on various items such as AC size from 1.5 ton to 2 tons, ways to make the place soundproof, ways to use the exterior door without cutting the beam to name a few. I never felt pressure by him for minor changes and price was not bumped up at all. Furthermore, to this day Rami returns my phone calls. Overall, I highly recommend Rami and Amerbuild.

Amerbuild is the real deal. I contracted them to build a guest house from the ground up. I could not be more happy in doing so. They were always on-time, courteous, responsive, flexible, honest, and upfront with me. Rami, Sami, Sasha and their crew were always available to answer any questions I had, and they were always on top of things. I appreciate the quality work they did for our family. I will be hiring them again for my next construction job. Theyre great honest people that take pride in their work.

Hands down the best experience Ive had with any construction/remodel work. Rami and his team were very professional, on time and responsive. Great communication, no questions were left unanswered. I wanted to do a bathroom remodel and it turned into a complete remodel of the whole house. Rami and his team were able to be flexible as I kept adding more things to do. Thank you Rami and Sasha!

Rami and his team successfully completed a backyard remodel and a bathroom remodel for us.For our backyard, we had a vision of adding an island with an outdoor kitchen (pellet grill, sink, drawers, fridge and trash can), replacing our grass with turf, adding a fire-pit, replacing a concrete slab with tile, applying white smooth stucco to our walls, and installing La Cantina folding doors.Rami and his team were expeditious with completing work with a deadline we had in mind. With all remodels, there were hiccups along the way and Rami was able to find a solution to keep the momentum and energy going with job.I would recommend Amerbuild if you are looking for outdoor/backyard work and extending your living space outside.My family and I spend so much time in the new space, and it’s great for backyard entertaining with friends and family!Thank you Rami and team!!

We recently had Rami’s team out to sand, prime & paint our wrap around brick wall, porch & steps. His lead painter and team were extremely friendly and hardworking. They did an amazing job and will have them back this summer for more outdoor/indoor painting. Their quality of work & prices are excellent. Highly recommend!!

I can not recommend Amerbuild enough. His team came out, did exactly what we asked for and went over and above our expectations. Rami was incredibly attentive and available to answer any questions along the way... and I had many!! I wouldnt hesitate to use them for future projects.

The remodeling they did to our guest bathroom was spectacular. They installed a rain shower and pebbled floors into the shower. It looks absolutely beautiful! Im so happy with the work they put in. Such a great experience with Amerbuild. Highly recommend them!

I hate to have to leave bad reviews, but unfortunately, I think the public needs to know my experience working with Rami & this company.Im a small business owner who had a business next-door flood into our storefront location. After calling around, I stumbled upon Amerbuild Construction on Yelp, & after seeing great reviews, I figured Id reach out and get an estimate from them.I spoke with Rami, Who came out to my business to give me an estimate on the work and the original estimate that he provided was given to us in the middle of February. Prior to contacting this company, I had two other companies come out and give us a bid to do the repair work on the flooring. Both of the previous companies had price out the job between $3200 and $4500 for all of the work. For whatever reason, after telling Rami that this was something covered by my insurance because it wasnt our fault, he quoted me at $9700 to do the same work that the other two companies had quoted me.I reached back out to Rami by email about a month later, and said that I would like to move forward with the job, but wanted to discuss the pricing one more time because it seemed a little bit high. He agreed to come out to the jobsite a second time and go over the details, which we did. He then told me that he can do the job for a few thousand dollars less and that he originally quoted me a higher price because he was going to skim all of the walls which wasnt necessary.I had stressed to him that I would very much like to get the job done as soon as possible and he said that it wouldnt be a problem. He told me he would provide a finalized quote for me over the weekend so that I could submit it to my insurance company and we could begin the work, and he said he would have it available for me on Monday morning.I hadnt heard anything on Monday morning and sent an email to follow up, and at 2:05 PM on Monday, I received an email from Rami stating the following: hello David, this is to acknowledge and let you know that we had a couple of large projects come in over the weekend, therefore we cannot commit to your project at this time, feel free to contact our sister company gladiator construction in Woodland Hills to see if they can assist.I was very frustrated to hear this, considering that weve spent over a month going back-and-forth through emails, and he had come out to the jobsite twice, just to stand me up last minute and tell me that he doesnt want to take the job. (Making excuses that larger projects came in over the weekend)I replied back to his email immediately less than 20 minutes after he had it sent it, but didnt hear anything back from him whatsoever. Today, Wednesday, two days later I sent a follow-up email saying OK, I will share my feedback on my experience so that others know how you treated me as a customer and thank you for not replying back after standing me upI received an immediate response just 5 minutes after sending that email, with Rami telling me that we never had an agreement in place and that he doesnt respond to threatening emails. I am a very fair and reasonable person and not once did I ever make any threats, but as a consumer I have the right to inform others that this company is not interested in small projects, as they only want to make big money and overcharge for a little jobs to make it worth their while.The bottom line is, just like the review thats in the filtered section of their yelp page where they messed up on someones roof and the customer contacted them multiple times and they didnt respond, if they are no longer interested in talking to you, theyll just ignore you completely and ghost you, even after youve spent more than 30 days working with their company going back-and-forth to discuss the project.Be cautious with wasting your time with this company, the owner seems very shady, and doesnt care about you or your project unless hes making big money from it. Find someone else more reliable, & more honest.

Amerbuild Construction and Remodeling is honest and fair. I have worked with Rami/Rod in the past on various projects on our house and they were upfront and honest about the costs before they even started the work. They have high standards and wont leave the job until you are completely satisfied. They actually went above and beyond to help us get things fixed that we didnt even notice and did it without a charge to us. They are the most honest contractors I have met, our home looks and we will continue to use their services as much as we can.

By far the greatest experience with contractors that Ive had thus far. They remodeled both bathrooms in our home within an amazing time span. They were SO professional and the work that was done in our bathrooms is to die for. Seriously cannot stop talking about these guys. Thank you sooo much Rami!

Really Could not have had a better experience with AMERBUILD construction & remodeling. Rod took the time to walk through the site with me and made suggestions that saved me money, and headaches in the long run. Rami and the other staff members were professional, knowledgeable and polite. Some issues in construction extended the time that it took to finish but Rami was constantly in contact with me letting me know about the progress. If there was ever a question about something, Rami would personally visit the site to make sure everything was correct. Easily the best experience that Ive had with a contractor. Thanks Rami

About my new kitchen...My kitchen remodel definitely exceeded my expectations. Far more than I could have ever dreamed. Not just because of the high quality of products used, No. I can buy pretty countertops and just the perfect sink at any big-box store. What made this project special were the people Amerbuild have on their staff. I met designer Rod after sending an email from their website. I knew as soon as I met him that he would be the one who could design an amazing new kitchen for me. Thats exactly what he did. he used her considerable talents and skills to imagine a kitchen I could NEVER have conceived. In fact, I looked at the first design and said, that will be it!then, I met the contractor. The entire team arrived on time each day, dealt with a curious homeowner (me) who was onsite as well, and left each workday with the site neat and tidy. It was a pleasure to have them demolish my kitchen and build a brand new one! Contrary to other reports of people who have experienced general kitchen remodel nightmares, I cant tell you how grateful I am to these guys that this project went so smoothly. I rarely had to make any decisions, I didnt have to worry about mistakes or errors, and best of all, they finished the project when they said they would. I paid a good amount, but I got exactly the kitchen I wanted and the whole experience was amazing.The only problem I have now is my bathrooms are jealous of the kitchen. Ill have to hire Amerbuild again in about a year to make sure my bathrooms feel important again!
