Rescue Service Rooter

My connection with Rescue Rooter was through a water heater purchase from Lowe’s, but I’m pretty sure I used them before many years ago.Within a minute after indicating on Lowe’s website I wanted information about installation, I got a text saying someone would reach out to me and they did within another 5 minutes or so. Within an hour someone was in my home providing an estimate, and within two hours of that someone came with the water heater, replaced all of the needed connections, competed the install, tested it, and just left.Both the estimator Ronnie and installation technician Devon were very courteous and professional, making the whole experience seamless and easy.

The service person was great and did an awesome job. Room for improvement on your pricing , originally quoted $400+ which was crazy for a basic drain unclog, all your competitors are around $80. - $90. Supervisor approved $90. High. Price made me lose trust/ faith in your service. Felt like you were trying to take advantage of your customers, bad start.

Despite the holiday, Benito showed up promptly and tackled my plumbing issue with professionalism and expertise. We had a main line drain clog under the house. Russell was our technician and approached the problem from outside the house, working retrograde from a trap in the front yard. I was skeptical but it worked when my efforts with a cable inside the house had failed. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. We asked him to install a cleanoutl closer to the house for future use and we were very satisfied with the work.

Great service! Had someone come to my home on a Sunday within an hour after I called them. I’m very happy with their service and will definitely use them again.

The garbage disposal was cloged! We called this company and the day after someone came just took a look at it and gave us an estimate of $570! He said this is a bigger problem with the main pipe! We didnt want to do it! I mayself opened the pipe attached to the disposal and there was some kitchen trash there! It took me 5-6 minutes! I called the manager to complain because we could have payed $570 for nothing and this was not fair! I do not recommend this company at all

Ruben arrived promptly and was able to clear the drain line for me. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. He had me run my laundry to make sure the line was clear. Very happy with my service.

He was very polite and professional and neat. He told me what was wrong and he went and fix it right away. I would recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing done.

These guys are great always get the job done fast and if they can save you money they will. Tyler is fantastic and efficient got the job done quick and through.

The repairman was friendly and efficient/after being without hot water for THREE DAYS I was elated to have a hot bubble bath as soon as he left

Had a pipe leak that needed to be fixed. Called in the AM, I was provided a few time slots for the repair, technician arrived promptly, analyzed the issue, gave me a cost estimate and then got it repaired quickly. Margarito, the technician, did a great job communicating and provided great work. I will certainly use Rescue Rooter again!

Excellent service. Both technicians Anthony and Jesus were professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything and answered questions. My water heater and bathroom faucets were installed same day. Thank you.

East Supervisor pulled the cost of the water heater installation out of thin air. Extra or unnecessary work may have been done. Parts and labor breakdown was not disclosed, only a parts list and total price. East Supervisor had me do a telephone satisfaction survey before the work was done. I agreed to the cost of the work to get the job done asap. The technician’s timeliness and workmanship was excellent.

7/25/2024 Rescue Rooter came for rooter drain service. The technician was very courteous, explained the problem and I only hope many more plumber technicians can follow his perfection. Thank you, Mary Detz

Called @ 3:30 pm and came out about 6 to unclog bath drain. Elijah was professional and speedy. Excellent service.

I hired this company ARS/Rescue Rooter to install a water heater recommended by LOWES. They sent a Plumber that spent 7 hours to install and was a BAD installation. It is far away to pass the city code installation. He just dropped it on the floor and the strap was loose sine it was 2 feet away from the wall. No pan under it nothing. I call them they made an appointment and nobody shows up. I called the manager Ibrahim. He promised me he will come with a technician. They did and I hope they will fix the problems.After 2 weeks update May 2 2023 ..OK...ALL BAD now. Ibrahim , the manager came and fix the problem according to him. But he also told me that the permit was sent to my home, But...NO permit was sent. I checked with the City of Upland and NO permit was issued for this address. I will NEVER do business wit this guys and I will complain again at LOWES.

Ariel Navarro is knowledgeable, friendly and is an expert in his field. He inspected the property thoroughly with an utmost positive attitude. Highly recommend ARS to others as they also diagnose the issue free of charge which is another positive. Their staff on call also follows up to finalize a decision if youre unable to decide which route to move forward on. Overall an amazing company and for their service~

Well, after discovering kitchen sink continued to slowly drain I called company to complain. The same service man returned next morning; however, refused to re-snake & re-hydropower cleaning our drainage line; although yesterday we paid $850.00! Needless to say, we are NOT happy with this company’s service. So disappointed that we didn’t get service paid for.This company has redeemed itself. Company diligently followed up and we are now very pleased with the work. Thank you so much for making us feel we matter and not stopping until we were satisfied. Abysmal service. Hugh is very unprofessional and extremely rude. He likes to scream at customers and make inappropriate comments rather than listen and use critical thinking to assess and fix problems. Booked for a specific service, tech came without the machine needed for the booked service even though it was stated and confirmed this is the service needed. Will never be using this company again. Dont waste your time.

Jesus and Eric were awesome. They arrived on time were knowledgeable, kind and courteous of my home and things. They gave me detailed information about options and of installation process as well as new safety code updates. They protected the floors and removed any art and breakables that were in the way of their work path.. They finished the installation in about 2 hours and replaced all items back in their place. The installation is neat and tidy and all permit paperwork is being done through them as well. The company was able to get them out to me within two hours of initial call to get life back on track quickly. I definitely recommend them.

First plumber a bit of disaster. Claimed he couldn’t find surge of leak although could see water coming out of ceiling and called boss and left.He was nice guy but zero star as was incompetent.Next morning sent plumber Tyler who was on it. Quickly found leak and repaired it. He is a five star.

Be cautious with this company. They advertised a $99 drain cleaning, however, when he arrived (2 hours later than the time provided) he asked for $490 for a simple drain clean, without even looking at the problem. Asking him why the price difference, he explained the prices just went up. Later I complained to his office and they said that if I had mentioned the internet special the cost would have been $99. If I were you, I’d use another company.

Good Morning,We were a little concerned this morning after our water heater install yesterday. The water pressure from the shower was very lowand Mr. Kincy came back out and checked things out. Lo and behold it was just the main water valve outside that hadnt beenturned on all the way. We all laughed and were obviously relieved. The point of this letter is just to let ARS know what a professionalMr. Kincy is. He knows his trade and installed our unit extremely well. We had AO Smith water heater installed and it was little expensive. They did do a good job with the installment. We had one problem, the water heater was bigger then the container. They did work on a modification to the container make sure water heater is concealed. The technician was professional and we were please with the outcome.

Everyone we worked with were very friendly and professional, from the appointment scheduling to the installation. Jesus and Anthony did the install on a water heater that was on the third story of a townhouse. The old one was cracked, leaking, not up to code and likely never been serviced. They removed and disposed of the old and secured the new one and explained all the workings of what was installed and why the old one was so dangerous. They were done within the estimated time of completion and left everything nice and cleaned up. They even brought extra disposable booties and put down a lot of protective tarps so that our newly installed carpet stayed clean. I was also impressed with how fast we got an appointment. We called Wednesday night, got an appointment for a quote on Thursday, and the install was on Friday. Such a relief to have that safely and efficiently taken care of. Thank you!

The guy Jose came out and was very sweet. I did his best to snake both toilets. But unfortunately its still flushing very slow. I guess we need to put a catch outside and cant afford it. They do some awesome financing 0 interest for a year. But I lost my job recently so the repair at this time isnt feasible for me.

ARS/Rescue Rooter was recommended by Lowes Home Improvement as a third party installer. Someone came to do an estimate for my water heater installation and it was very affordably priced. We set up an installation date and two gentleman came to install within the time frame as directed. They performed a swift and clean job, explained all they did to switch out the old water heater and customized a new box for the new one. Great job!

Our hot water heater finally died. I needed to get someone over to replace it asap. I called ARS first thing. in the morning. They had a wonderful field estimator (Robby? maybe was his name?)come by exactly in the window they gave me. Two hours later we had an installer at our home. Jesus did a fantastic job and is an excellent representative of his company. He did great work and was also kind and friendly. I would use this company again for sure. Highly recommended.

Jesus from Rescue Rooter is an all star, professional plumber with exceptional customer service and attention to detail! Our house is very old and our hot water heater had not been updated since 1998. The old unit finally gave out a few days ago and Jesus installed a new unit today. It was cold and raining today, but he came prepared with a pop up tent and just kept going until the job was done. His workmanship is outstanding and I could not be more pleased; he went above and beyond what I expected and I feel like our house is a lot safer than it was before since I know the work was done right! He crafted a custom solution for our unique older house and did all of this in a days work! Thank you, Jesus!

Jesus did an excellent job of installing our new water heater and fixing a long-standing slow-drainage problem with the kitchen sink. The old water heater had been installed in 2008 by somebody from Craigslist who did not put the gas shutoff valve in an accessible place and did not bother to put any piping on the temperature and pressure relief valve. Thanks to Jesus our new water heater is a thing of beauty: I am confident that his work will pass the citys building permit inspection with flying colors. This experience with the water heater shows how you dont know what you dont know, and that that is why it pays to hire a pro. Jesus explained everything clearly. He even had more than a basic knowledge of how to finance the work at 0% for two years and get a higher credit limit on my relatively new Home Depot credit card. This helped a lot. And so did the great price for this very necessary job. There were no unexpected financial surprises, only that everything was included right from the very beginning. Jesus was upfront with everything that needed to be done. The only surprise was that ANY WATER AT ALL had been able to drain through two very old, corroded and TOTALLY PLUGGED UP galvanized pipes under the kitchen sink. And that he had actually poked a hole through the side of one of them with his bare hands! The heater and the sink were two accidents waiting to happen. We got lucky that the heater quit when it did and that the sink stopped draining at the same time and that we had a great plumber and honest companies to fix our problems promptly and properly. Jesus even laughed at my jokes even while he was serious about doing professional work. It has been a great day!

Not an emergency, but it was time to replace an ancient water heater in the downstairs basement of my home. Not a complicated install, but not an easy install either. Quite frankly, I was a little overwhelmed by the number of professionals who offered to handle this project for me, so I resorted to the Home Depot Installation process. I will admit to being wary about retaining Rescue Rooter for the Project because, while I had seen their trucks in the neighborhood on occasion, I had not heard of this company and didn’t know anyone who had any experience with them. Also, this was not a local, local outfit, and what I needed was to have my water heater tank installed, not my Rooter rescued! But I proceeded nonetheless. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. My in-home consultant (“Jack” or Joaquin) assessed the work-space and was very thorough and accommodating about explaining my available options and related cost estimates. Sensing a concern I had about some of the product issues I had read about in reviews, Joaquin put me in touch with his installer Jesus Puga, who promptly called me to answer all of my questions in a candid, comprehensive, and assuredly knowledgeable manner based on his own lengthy field experience and research, which allowed me to choose my options with confidence. The actual installation by Jesus started promptly as scheduled and was completed in a competent, friendly and professional manner. Not an overly complicated job, but one which did require some creativity, focus and hard work. And Jesus did not disappoint. My engagement of these pros was thoroughly satisfying, and I would do it again in a heart beat. Most importantly, I feel these guys were honest with me, and treated me fairly. Long story short, I was originally hesitant about all of this, but these guys have “rescued” my faith in this profession. We purchased a toilet through Home Depot and paid additional through HD website to have toilet installed. Installation was scheduled with Rescue Rooter of LA East. The technician showed up for installation and asked for several hundred dollars at residence even though we showed him receipt that we paid online for installation service via Home Depot. Felt like we were being scammed with having to pay twice for single installation. The technician did not install toilet and left. Called Home Depot to inform of what occurred and make complaint. Horrible communication & experience. Do not recommend.

From the beginning, Joaquin who provided the estimate was knowledgeable and professional. This was ultimately why I chose them despite the cost being slightly higher than a few other estimates. They showed up early and did a quality job installing the water heater and changing out the old main shut-off valve to a quarter turn. Jesus and Anthony did an outstanding job with quality workmanship. I would call them again for future plumbing needs.

Unclogged drain pipe under front porch. He came quickly, and was willing to try my late fathers backwards 30 year old clean out. He was only here for like 10 minutes for only 88 dollars. Im so happy.

Alex was the technician that came to my house and fixed my overflowing toilet problem. I tried to plunge it myself but it was completely stuck. I called a bit late and so he was at my house until after 8pm. He was able to get everything working for the night, but he’s going to come back the next morning to see what is causing the problem with a camera. It turned out to be a much bigger job, there were roots that damaged the pipes and many more roots that are going into the pipes. They gave me a few different options and different prices, to see what it best for me at the moment. He was very communicative and helpful with helping me decide what I should do. Overall experience I am very pleased with his service and his knowledge of the problem. He also helped me with my clogged shower. Thank you so much for everything, I really appreciate it.

Context:i hired ARS to repair a leaky pressure regulator for my house. They insisted on replacing the whole thing, and while they claimed it would take 1 day, it took 5 separate visits (each with water shutoff) to actually install it. Less than 1 year later, the same regulator was leaking again. Thankfully, they have a 2 year warranty on parts and labor and repaired it for free.Positives:- 2 year warranty on Parts and Labor and COMPLETELY painless to use it- Uron (one of their plumbers) is FANTASTIC. Fast, professional, funny, and MUCH better skilled that some of the other plumbers theyve sent.- On time when they scheduleNegatives.- Which plumber you get on a job can be a coin-toss. Some of them Ive had were not equipped to fix the regulator or do the install (which is why it took 5 visits the first time to get it right).- The dispatch scheduling can be difficult about getting you an appointment. They seem to not appreciate that some of us have to take off work in order to schedule a visit.- The plumbers arent given a lot of info about the job, so often have to leave halfway through to go buy parts and materials. In some cases, there are special tools they need (e.g. pro-press) and have to go back to the shop to get. This can drag out the processOn the whole, I was pretty frustrated with the experience, UNTIL Uron (the plumber that came by today) visited. He was prompt, professional, saw the problem immediately, made a plan of what he needed to pick up and fix, and went to it. His work looks fantastic and Im optimistic the work is done well.Hats off to Uron!

Not only did they install the WRONG water heater, they left the shed door in a state where it fell off in 24 hours, knocking parts loose. I called them three times and a supervisor never called me back.

The price seemed a bit high and standard without regard to actual work or parts required, senior or military discounts.The man who did the service was EXCELLENT and explained everything very well. The end result was a truly professional install job. Before leaving he went over all aspects of maintenance and what to do if there was a problem later on.

Jeremy came out at 645pm and tried to fix our clog for awhile. He wasnt able to so he came back at 845am the next day. He worked for a few hours to fix it. He and Carlos used the camera to check our lines. They were both very polite and professional. They were able to explain everything in a simple way I could understand. I was very pleased and will definitely recommend them!!

Jeremy Martinez is a fantastic technician. He was professional, fast, and courteous in dealing with an emergency call we had. He showed up late that same evening to clear a main line after another well known company said they couldn’t get anyone out same day. He then returned to install a clean out and stayed onsite until the job was done. Could not recommend Jeremy more and he’d be the first we call if we ever have another issue.

Steve M did a great job. He worked quickly to clear my clogged sink and was very careful about keeping our home clean while working. He put covers on his shoes as well as the wheels of the rooter machine. When he left, there was hardly any mess.On the other hand, I was given a 7AM - 8AM appointment slot and Steve did not arrive until 9AM. I understand that service times vary for different jobs, but I was told that I had the first appointment slot for the day and that the tech would arrive on time.Overall five stars for Steves quick, clean, and professional work.

Jesus was my installer, and I cant say enough positives about his work. He is meticulous and tidy, and very good at his job. He went the extra mile to plumb everything in as compact an area in my basement as possible to avoid losing any space due to all the code updates that had to be done. He was also extremely careful when removing the old unit and transporting the new heater down to the basement. Again, I cant say enough good things about his work. Very glad Jesus was assigned to my job.

Tyler came out to give me a quote for the repairs needed. He priced it out and even he though he offered a lesser price, with company approval, it was still more than we could pay. He did everything by the book and was polite. Although we didn’t go with the company Tyler did offer some very good tips and advice. I do recommend this company and if you do call them ask for Tyler!!

Oh my god , where do I do i start and explain how thankful my family and myself are to this company and the great technician by the name of Jose for coming out and fixing my clogged toilet that was preventing us for using our toilet. After having two other local companies in rancho cucamonag come and unable to fix the problem and asking us to sign a contract for main server cleaning. We were having trouble with our water heater (no hot water, pilot would not light). It was a 10 year old water heater and it was time for a new one anyway. I called home depot who contracts with ARS and they were able to send out a plumber, Tyler, the next day. Tyler explained our options in detail, including a possible repair rather than replace. He also went over the different options we had to replace the water heater. After he answered all my questions, we decided on a new water heater. Tyler was able to start the replacement right away (which was great because we had no hot water) and he completed the job within a few hours. After the job was complete, he explained how to both operate and maintain the water heater. We are very satisfied with the work Tyler provided and we are enjoying having our hot water back again!

Vince worked around my schedule and my location, finding solutions to our scheduling idiosynchresis. Please do yourself a favor and do not use this company. My family called on Christmas Eve and made an emergency plumbing appointment for the next morning. The plumber was supposed to come in the time frame of 8-10 am. We understood it was Christmas and because we had a lot of family coming over and absolutely needed working plumbing we were willing to pay whatever the cost. On Christmas Day we called around 10 am as the plumber had not shown up. We were told the plumber was busy at another location and they did not know when he would be to our home. We were disappointed but willing to be patient. At 11:30 we called to inquire about an updated timeframe and we’re informed that NO PLUMBER WAS COMING. they didn’t even bother to call and tell us. They told us they simply didn’t have anyone available even though we made the appointment the day before. Terrible service, use another company.

This company saved us!!! Our water heater quit Monday evening. Tuesday morning we had a local company perform a service call, and they declared the time of death at 10:30am. I used Home Depots online portal to request an installation quote, which is how I got connected to ARS / Rescue Rooter LA East. Hugo called by 1:00pm. Steve gave us a quote shortly after. And Steve #2 had everything installed and up to code soon after that. They took care of the city permits and hauled away the old unit. They were professional and courteous throughout. I found Rescue Rooter on google offering a special to clean out my drain. I gave the. A call and they were able to come right away. There was a scheduling issue and the plumber got to my house before I got home. I called them and they rescheduled for me right away. Jeremy came out and gave me excellent service. The clog is gone and I am very happy.

This company and the installers Jesus and Anthony did a highly professional and clean install of a 75 gallon water heater, and replaced rotted out piping. While the pricing was not inexpensive, m confident that the job will hold up well over time.

They were responsive to come out to my parents house but they showed them video of drain pipes with Roots in them and told them it would be 4 to $6000 to repair. We got a second opinion and they fixed the problem for less than $200, their there were no roots in the system. They were definitely trying to upsell and take advantage of my elderly parents

I highly recommend ARS based on Jesus, the crew chief, and Joseph, who bid the job. Doing a water heater job, Jesus diagnosed additional problems caused by the prior owner and was able to repair at no additional charge, which saved us higher $$$ down the road. Discussed options, including replacement of the toilet. Went with clearing the line and to replace toilet by handyman later. Plumbers are expensive! Guess we pay from the skill and mess they have to deal with.

My hot water heater died, which is never good news. I contacted Home Depot and within an hour ARS Rescue Rooter (Tyler Leibovitz) was at my door. Tyler was fantastic. He was clear and concise, didn’t play games with pricing, and made sure I understood exactly was needed to properly replace the hot water heater and make sure that it complied with Code requirements. It was not an easy job. The previous plumber had used shoddy materials, resulting in corrosion in pipes, etc. Tyler worked like a demon and repaired old damage and completed the new installation within hours at a reasonable rate. I cannot recommend him enough. I feel very fortunate that in response to my call Home Depot sent ARS Rescue Rooter, and that ARS Rescue Rooter sent Tyler Leibowitz.

I have nothing but good to say about Rescue Rooter and their service. Office staff Stacy was very helpful and courteous on the phone and set up a suitable appointment time. The Service Technician Ruben Segura and his helper, Walter, were extremely kind and courteous and went out of their way to fix the problem with our drainage. The work was done to our complete satisfaction. The other time I used them was to fix a missing part on my faucet and Ruben Segura and his manager went out of their way to find the missing part. Ruben installed it and I have had no problem with my kitchen faucet ever since. Their plumbing service is exceptional and I highly recommend them and will continue using them for all my plumbing needs.

Had a clogged kitchen sink right after dinner. Called Rescue Rooter (24/7 service) and the tech arrived within an hour. Matthew, by far the most competent professional tech, was able to diagnose the problem immediately. Even though the cost was around $150 bucks (a little more than I wanted to pay) I was very satisfied with the service and willing to pay a little extra because I value the service. In addition, his work is covered for 90 days which gives me peace of mind. Just a word to the wise, the prices do seem inflated, but if you drive a hard bargain, can get the prices reduced.

Jeremy came out on a Sunday to flush our storm drains that were causing a backup in our pipes when we ran our clothes washer. He arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a sewage back up in our bathrooms on a Sunday morning with a number of family members visiting. Rescue Rooter was responsive right away. They said they could have somebody here within 90 minutes or so ! 👍😀😀they checked in with me with a number of updates in the during that frame . Great company! We called and they had someone out here within 90 minutes. The plumber (Ariel Navarro), fixed our leaky shower, and then called to get another guy (Johnny D) to come out and check for any moisture in our walls. Johnny was out within an hour or less after he was called. He checked and as we didnt have any residual moisture, he didnt even charge us. They were extremely helpful, professional, and quick. They went out of their way to check everything.We would HIGHLY recommend Ariel Navarro and Rescue Rooter for any and all plumbing needs you may have!

Steve was timely, efficient, and he explained what he was doing along each step on the way. The house were in has had plumbing issues in the past, and while I can do some things (install a toilet, etc) getting deep into the pipes and tracking down the blockage is not my forte. Steve went through the various steps and tracked down the blockage far further than my handyman snake would have been able to clear. The service and price were right.

I called them about a clog for the house and they were able to come out on a Saturday in about an hour which is very good even for a weekend. The plumber was very professional and did his job in a timely manner. Thank you Rescue Rooter for coming to the rescue!

Response time was great! Estimate to repair a simple water leak to my toilet was incredibly outrageous, through no fault of Rescue Rooter. I was told that my house would need asbestos testing before repair could be made because pipe was inside a plaster wall as my house was built in the 50s. That is what made the estimate so expensive. UNLESS the wall was already opened by me, the homeowner. A few minutes later, the plumber entered my bathroom to find a leaky pipe in a hole in the wall and the estimate to fix the leak was now much lower. However, the estimate was still high for the nature of the repair. And at this point I could have made the repair myself with a simple pipe wrench and a half inch pipe. But I was thankful for the information provided to me by the plumber and gladly overpaid by about $300 what it would have cost me to do myself. It was just nice to have a qualified person there should something else have gone wrong during the repair and the money paid was worth the piece of mind!
