Wayne was Great! He explained everything and didnt try to up sell me on unneeded stuff. He spotted an issue with my heating unit (an out of compliance connection, that a previous tech didnt even realize). He was knowledgeable in his field and very respectful of me and my property. He also made it a point to check to see if any possible discounts that could be offered. I will keep is phone number on file for future issues with my heating and air needs.

This company is awesome. I have been using them for many, many years. From small fixes to a recent full HVAC unit install, they always have the best prices, and the craftsmanship of work is top-notch. Excellent and efficient routine maintenance on our Spliltter Unit this past week. System runs great. Econo originally installed it and it has been wonderful to have heating AND COOOLING (finally) in our house.

While the response to my call was quick, they charged me over $400 for the replacement of a twenty dollar part and maybe a 45 minute visit. Seems pretty high.

The technician introduced himself when he arrived and had a good attitude. I explained to him what I was experiencing with the furnace, and the parts that I had already replaced. He was very knowledgeable with the situation on hand and went straight to work. He found the gas valve not to be operating and recommend to replace it. He explained the repairs and the cost. We have used Econo West not only on our AC installation and service but also on their plumbing services. They are great to work with on scheduling and are always on time when they are scheduled. Everything is always brought up front by their technicians and very professional.

Absolutely great service. The service guy, Richie, was super friendly and gave me a good explanation of what was wrong with the old heater and explained everything we would get with the new heater. The installer, Donald, was also friendly, and had no problem with me asking questions about certain things. He and I went through the check list of what the proposal said would be done and everything was done as promised. Speaking on service related to time, Richie came to the house and after we had an understanding of the old heaters issues, he sent the proposal while we were talking, I agreed to the proposal and then they scheduled the appointment to fit a time good for me. I am a old school Palmdale High class of 83 graduate and Econo West has been around for a very long time, based on my review, you understand why. Thanks Econo West for the great service.

Excellent customer service. The technician Cody was very professional and trustworthy. Im a retired military veteran who would definitely recommend this company to my family and others veterans.

My AC unit wasn’t cooling, since they installed the unit I contacted them for the service. When I schedule I was notified that there is a $90 fee to go out and take a look. The tech showed up a stated that the condenser went out and that it was still under warranty but there was still a few of $160 for the hourly rate to swap it out. He was there for less than 30 minutes in total to see what the problem was and to replace it. I would have hoped that they waived the $90 fee or that the hourly rate would be less. They are pretty pricey for their work, I am glad he had the part at hand and was able to get my AC up and running.

Ive used Econo West for the last couple of years for my home and friends homes and they have always provided excellent service on both heating and air conditioning systems. Ive appreciated that a human answers my phone calls and that they always have been able to get me a great response time. I highly recommend Econo West Heating and Air Conditioning service!

The best ever. My air conditioning went out Thursday evening and I had a gas leak in my garage. I called Friday morning at 8AM. I talked to Brenda and she scheduled an air conditioning tech and plumber for Friday. She told me, 2 calls, 2 charges. I was so impressed that I could get service that quick. Everything was fixed and we were very happy with the service we received. Cost was very reasonable.

I had plumbing issues with two different toilets. Reuben arrived within the appt window. After assessing the situation, he provided a thorough explanation of my options. He and Gilbert finished up the job in no time. I appreciate their professionalism and responsiveness. The work is guaranteed for 90 days.

Our heater broke in the coldest part of the winter. My first call was to Econo West because they have serviced my heaters and A/Cs for several years now and I trust them. They were able to come next day so we didnt have to live very long in a cold house. They are reasonably priced which is another reason I call them and not any local places in Tehachapi. Today they sent Wayne to my house and he had it diagnosed in about 5 minutes. He had all of the supplies on hand and had it fixed in less than an hour. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Im glad I have such a great HVAC place to turn to when I need a professional quickly.

I contacted Econo West as I just felt something was off with our AC unit. I called on a Wednesday and they answered very quickly. I spoke to the person who answered (name escapes me) and he was very helpful.I let him know what the issue was and that I thought maintenance was needed. Thinking that I’d need to schedule for days if not weeks out I was told a technician could be here within hours, awesome!I also signed us up for the twice a year service maintenance. They come out in summer and winter months to check AC and then later to check the furnace.Wayne was the technician who arrived. He was right on time after I received the 15minute text letting me know that he was on his way.Once here he started all his diagnostic tests. He did notice the outside compressor fan was spinning in reverse and told me that was incorrect and likely the fan motor surely needed replaced after explaining it wasn’t capacitor related.Wayne then setup a quote and let me know the out the door price for the fix. No one wants to hear the price when you think it’s just a quick freon fill, but things happen. The price quoted was more than fair and I cannot complain! Wayne wrote it up and sent me an electronic PDF of the quote etc which I signed electronically.Wayne stated he could have the part first thing in the morning and be back at 8am which was fine by me. Once again I got the text he was on the way and he arrived right on time. He got to work and got the new motor on in basically an hour I think, it was very quick!He then came in and checked temperature at the registers and everything was all set. I really appreciated the little bit of extra time he spent explaining the system to me and what to expect moving forward as the unit is a bit older. I really appreciated this as it won’t be a surprise moving forward when other hardware for the unit runs its course.To the Econo West Management Team, Wayne is top notch. Great guy and knows what he’s doing. Couldn’t have asked for a better or easier experience. You have another repeat customer and I’ll be sure to share your business with family and friends. The technician who came out the very same day my husband called for service on our TRANE A/C unit, was very polite, and knowledgeable about the issue he was presented with. The solution for the A/C problem ended up being a simple-remedy, but my husband and I were so pleased the technician was able to find the problem without much trouble. We both would recommend this company.

Well i am unhappy with their service. The wall heater pilot light was not staying lit so we had no heat. When the tech came out he tried to light it but it wouldnt stay lit. He suggested that I needed a new heater. collected the fee for a service call and left.The next day I received the estimate for $3500 for a new heater. On Sunday I had a tech from another company come out he cleaned the pilot generator and another part, lit the pilot and it works great.

Our Technician Angel and his team were on time, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had to have the entire outdoor unit replaced. It was expensive, but fair compared to other estimates. I appreciate Econo West and all of their hard work!

During the heat wave (unprecedented 100F for this region), our AC started acting up - and I believe Dave and his entire team were away from Santa Barbara given the long-weekend. I assumed Dave would send someone from his team but he personally drove 100+ miles for 2hours one way to diagnose and fix the issue, and then drove back. My air conditioner stopped working a day before I was having floors installed, great! I called that morning and they had a wonderful tech “Dan” come out by noon. He was outstanding! Knew right away what was wrong with it and even had the replacement part on the truck. Since I had duel units, I had him check the other one too. Of course it was going bad. He fixed and cleaned them both in no time flat! We even got their 2 year maintenance package too. Great service and great prices! I will alway use them for any air conditioning/ heating issues. With the weather heating up and our AC unit having been broken by our dogs I called Econo West to have them come out and repair the unit. The office staff that handled my call were polite and professional and they were able to have a technician come to the house very quickly. Jeremy came out and looked at our equipment and told me he could fix our system but explained that it was very old and inefficient. He also informed me that replacement equipment would be much more efficient and less costly to operate. He was not pushy, just informative. We decided to have Econo West install a new system. We couldnt be more pleased. The crew they sent we extremely professional, they treated our home as theirs, protected our carpets and left the house more clean than when they arrived. The installation was quick and professional. We couldnt be more pleased and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Econo West!

After checking reviews on multiple A/C and heating companies, I chose to go with Econo West due to positive reviews and military discount. My A/C was not working and it was found that my circuit board needed to be replaced. After receiving quote from Econo, I called multiple other A/C companies and got similar or higher quotes. They completed the work in a few hours and then have me a military discount of 10%. The work was impeccable and the Technicians were very polite.. The big reason for the 5 star review is a few weeks later the weather got really cold and I tried turning my Heater on and it wouldnt ignite. They certified my A/C system but did not check my heating system. I called and was told that they dont normally check another system when doing repairs but they agreed that sometimes a electrical issue could cause issues with the heating system. Econo West sent out 2 techs within a few days and replaced a part and labor for free and really didnt have too! Complete separate issue but still did not charge us due to the hassle. I had another heating company come check the issue before Econo came and they said it was the same part. They are honest and fair with pricing but best of all they do the RIGHT thing.

The technician performed an annual checkup of my HVAC. I explained a problem with my heater and he correctly diagnosed it and provided a solution. Its been a couple of weeks now and the problem hasnt resurfaced.

Angel was our technician he was wonderful he put my worries at ease, explained the work that had to be done, provided support, suggestion and completed work in a timely manner. Shame on you Econo West!!!Taking advantage of senior citizens is not cool. Still waiting on the invoice for the bill my mother paid. But we got the estimate for that new wall heater. Guess what it didn’t need to be replaced got it repaired by just cleaning the gas valve and less than $200 no thanks to you!!!

Econowest is all about customer service. I called for help with my a/c and they had someone out the next day (Hi Dave!). Got it going. (Was my fault. Gotta change those filters!). Wonderful company. Can’t go wrong with them.

I recommend this business because they are professionals who go beyond the job scope and get the job done as quickly as possible.

I was extremely happy of how quickly they technician came to my house to service my system. They essentially looked at both of my units (upstairs and downstairs have their own unit) and looked at the wiring and connections. They tightened the connections and explained how they were loose and could cause higher energy consumption. Besides that they provided me a filter for one of my vents and then checked the voltage and temperature of one of the vents downstairs and upstairs. I did feel that they should have checked the ducts and the furnace, although clearly I shouldn’t be using the heater in the summer in the desert, nonetheless, I did pay for the 2nd visit before the winter and assume they will check it at that time. Overall, they were fast and assured me that the system was running well. I was being quoted $185 just for the technician to come to my house from Affordable Air vs. the $65 that Econo would have charged me if they didn’t service my system. Each unit was $100 to service, but went down to $75 per unit with the 2 services I ended up getting that would have them come out to check the furnace before the winter. Dan was very knowledgeable and gave me the answers to all my questions!

These guys are always the best. For 20 years we have been using Econo West for all our heating and AC needs. Their team of service techs are very professional and friendly to work with.Our AC died when the temperature was over 110. Econo West came out at the time they said they would and evaluated our system. We were given several options and decided a new unit was the best way to go. They came back with four additional techs and replaced the complete unit in a couple of hours!

We had a very old heat pump system that was badly in need of complete replacement. Cannot say enough good things about working with Ethan. He explained the entire process, understood and worked with us very closely on every step, he and his crew showed up on time each day and worked...I mean WORKED...on the removal and installation of a very complicated system. The project came through on time and way within budget and the system is working perfectly. I called Econo this afternoon to check maintenance on my AC Unit and the lady was really nice she told me they would send someone out in between 12-2pm and Dan and another gentleman (I forgot his name) showed up right away! The Econo West team worked at my house this past year installing a new high efficient HVAC system. The team was always professional and most of all, committed that the job was done to my satisfaction. My June 2017 electric bill was $90 less than my June 2016 bill and the outside temperature for June 2017 was a lot hotter than June 2016.Happy customer!

Bit pricey rates compared to others in the area. Work has been solid. No complaints reliable repairs everytime never had to call them back to fix the same issues with a older unit.

Econo West provides the most thorough maintenance on your heating and AC equipment. They provide you with a good explanation of all that they have performed on your equipment. The 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that I have yet to have them arrive within the allotted time frame (e.g. 8am to 12 noon} I always get a call after noon advising me that they are running late and they will be there shortly. My whole morning has been wasted waiting for their scheduled appointment.

An excellent team of professionals. They were our second choice when our first choice turned up looked at the heater didn’t test anything at all and said oh it’s shot you’ll need a new one $5000. We can have it here tomorrow. Something just didn’t sound right so we called Econo West who reviews before they came out within two hours ran test on the system and discovered that it was a blower motor and a fuse. Could not be happier with these people. Wonderful to finally meet honest, individuals and business not just to make money but they treat their customers right.

With any heating, cooling, or plumbing problems that I have I call Econo West as I have done for more than 20 years. Theyre professional and value for money. Ive discovered over the years that especially where water is concerned a do it yourself job can cost more than paying a reputable plumber. My house is 28 years old and Ive called them out twice this year. I trust them and dont even bother to get a second opinion or estimate.

I contacted them for some basic repairs. Gilbert arrived and I told him I might have a leak in my AC. He looked at it, laughed and said “you probably do” then walked out of the house. Prior to booking the appt, the dispatcher informed me that Gilbert recently realized the value of customer service and has started to treat his customer well. I took a day off work for Gilbert to repair or replace my toilet. He did not show up. He did not inform me he couldn’t make it. When I called Econo, they said he was on an emergency call in the valley and wouldn’t be available all day. That was a weird excuse to use, but I guess that was the best she could make up at the time.

They came out, serviced our heater and changed the filter. The employees are very nice and knowledgeable.

Their dispatch phone customer service, very rude and threatened me. I called company to advise concern about their employee- no response.So, I called THEM for service and Angel and another service man who came out to my home for initial inspection were very professional. After inspection, I advised would forward information to see if property manager would use there service to finish work. The next day I got a call from a female (with a high pith voice - who would not disclose her name) and wanted to know if I would give personal info about property to complete order. I advised, No, and that we would not be going with company (she never even asked if I was going to use service, but told me we were). This female dispatcher then- changed up - She demanded owner information and when I advised I would not be giving her anything- she advised she had ways of finding out information and could get anyway and hung up.I CALLED this company for assistance and in the end I received rude, demanding, and threatening service. I will NEVER use or RECOMMEND!!!This company needs to understand that when service is not wanted they need to take the humble route and not threat customers.

We had Econo West come out to check on our ac unit, it was blowing warm air. I called late in the afternoon on a Thursday and they came out Friday morning. The young man helping us was Cody, he was very knowledgeable and kind. He told us everything that was going on with ac and that they could fix it. We have been in this house for 25 years and never replaced anything. After asking questions which Cody answered, we decided to go with a whole new unit. They came out on Saturday and did the installation, the boys worked really hard in 105 degrees and got it up and running. I have learned that when you work with a company like Econ West there reputation means a lot. They have been in business for 30 years. I called because our AC went down. Richard showed up the first appt, He was pleasant, professional, on time explained everything. He had to climb in the attic to get to the Ac unit and came out with an answer.. fix the Ac and thermostat. Unfortunately it was the weekend, so we had to wait for monday to come. Donald was prompt and showed up Monday morning he fixed the Ac and thermostat. He was knowledgeable and professional.. Richard then showed up the evening per my request to check into the outside unit to replace the freon. The AC worked beautifully !! Kept the home cool thru the night. Thank you Richard and Donald for everything . We would recommend you to anyone who needs fixing. Richard and Donald are efficient to get the job done right the first time. The company stands behind its product whatever it may be with fair reasonable prices. They only will fix what is needed and unlike other companies will not over charge you and do extra that doesnt need to be fixed. Our 20 year old A/C unit died. We received several bids, and Dave at ECONO WEST not only beat the other quotes, he provided better equipment with a longer warranty. Technician came and promised to send a list of things that were not to code on my hvac system in addition to a quote to fix a duct (the whole reason I called).Charged me $65 to come out and then never sent me a quote to fix anything even after two follow up phone calls/emails. Guy came to my house to evaluate a duct flow problem but when he showed up he said if its too hot i am not going to look at your problem. I thought to myself, why are you an AC guy? He only stuck his head in to look and then broke the door for the crawl space, left a mess on the floor.

Econo West is the company I go to for HVAC and plumbing services. They are responsive when I have a project or a problem. Their prices are reasonable, and their work is good quality. When they installed my heat pump, they had to get creative to fit it into the space available.

I had a service call with Econo West Inc. on my heater, and Geoff came next day to do the service, right on schedule, but that’s only one small part of their business that I want to talk about.He (Geoff) was professional, knows exactly what he was doing, he is friendly, polite and honest with the pricing too. My first service was done about 12 months ago, unfortunately the part that he installed broke down (as all mechanical parts do). I was lazy and owe him a good review from last service, but this time I can’t wait.Again, Geoff show up on time, inspect the problem, order the replacement part (this time a different brand – this means he pays attention to small detail). He came back a couple days later and completed the work, then charge me nothing, I mean zero! He said it’s still under warranty, so there’s no charge, not even the labor, did I hear it wrong or am I dreaming? And the best thing is, I found out Econo West also service AC and plumbing as well (we have at least 6 others jobs from other ‘guys’ in the past, and all were not happy at all).We’ve been living in Palmdale since 1989, knowing stuff around the house are aging, but we know we’ve found the best service people in AV that we can trust. Richard was very thorough and courteous and explained what they did. New furnace installation and evaporator in one day.

My rooftop heating and air were old 45 years and failed within 6 months of each other. Econo West replaced it for a lower price than all I checked. They craned it to my roof without a hitch from a long distance. It was fully installed in 3 hours. We have been having an extended heat wave and suddenly the unit did not work. I called late on that day and the polite and safe technician was out by 9am the next day, The unit was fine, it just threw a safety switch, which was reset for free. Unknown reason, but I know when anything happens Econo will be there quick and cheap.

The tech Frank was very knowledgeable, friendly, and beyond helpful. He right away changed the part and had the air conditioner working in no time. They gave me a time of arrival and they actually called me before the time scheduled which I was happy about because it was getting very hot and the air conditioner was out all night. I would definitely recommend them.

I had Jeff and Wayne service my forced air heater and they did an excellent job

On 4/6/21 I purchased an air conditioner/heating unit from EconoWest I have a 12 year warranty on the unit , a 1 year labor warranty, and a 3 year maintenance (check unit for Spring and Autunm). I tried to turn on heat and it failed to operate. I called Econo asking if they could look at the unit for autumn. They said they no longer serviced my area and there would be a $189.00 travel charge if they came out. I asked about the 3 year maintenance checks and was told I only have a 2 year maintenance coverage. I feel they should honor their agreement with maintenance visits or compensate me the cost of having another company provide this service.

I have used Econo West for all of my air conditioning needs ever since they opened, They are the best in the Antelope Valley is all I can say. I was having issues with my air conditioner right before this heat wave hit the area, so I contacted the owner Dave Kerr. He forwarded me to Richard, who put me on the schedule for the very next day. Jesus and his partner arrived on time and fixed the problem right away. They even took the time to service my other air conditioner while they were there to make sure it was ready to go as wellFrom start to finish, everyone was professional, friendly, and helpful. They answered all of my questions. Angel and his assistant were professional, polite and effective. They arrived on time and obtained clarification of the problem, as I understood it. They began their inspection of the AC equipment and they discussed their trouble-shooting objectives throughout the process. They explained the different resolution-options and suggested steps that could be taken to correct the issue. They were knowlegeable of current and potential problem areas and provided a sense of confidence in the final resolution selected and applied.

Econo West installed our mini split system in 2020. Their service was very good and the installation works very well. They have also maintained the system since installation. The technicians that performed the work answered all my questions, and were very helpful. I will use Econo West next time I need HVAC work.

I highly recommend Econo-West. I have used this company to repair my HVAC since 2004 and never been disappointed. Last month, after 27 years my AC gave up (noise, vibration, burned-out fuses and the last, coil pan leaking) so I decided to replace the entire HVAC system. Before I called Econo-West, I did a comprehensive research about HVAC units: brands, size, components, materials, time and costs of labor and materials. I also learned that most of the failures are due to the poor quality of the installation and maintenance. Based on this, I opted for quality and affordable system rather than a high end HVAC two stage system; while they are more efficient, they are more likely to fail because of the complex process to save more energy. Yes, it could save some money on energy bills, but it would take up to 10 years to recover the initial investment. When I called Econo-West, they scheduled Dan, a very experienced technician, to revise my unit. In my research, I learned that some AC technician are like car salesman; contrary to this, Dan never pushed into buying a new unit, instead, he tried to repair the old one, but this task proved to be difficult due to the difficulty of finding parts for a three decade AC. While he was still looking for the parts, I called him back asking for an estimate for a new HVAC. In a very professional way he showed me a few options: brand, price, size and reliability. He recommended a 5 ton,14 SEER,  Day and Night HVAC unit, explaining that his company installed many unit and had no issues. Again, without being coercive, he left the estimate for me to review it and to think about it; he even suggested to shop around. In my research I did not find too many good reviews about this brand, but some HVAC professionals agreed that these units are very solid and reliable if the systems are installed professionally. I also learned that the company, United Technologies, which owns Carrier, also owns Day and night. A few days later, I had my AC and furnace installed by Dan. The installation took one and a half days because a problem was found in the Attic. Today after a few days the system is running quiet without problems. His estimate was on the average range, but my decision was made on the quality of the installation and the maintenance of the system. Im sure Econo-West will keep my system running for many years, as they honestly did with my old unit. Ill post more updates of the HVAC performance after the winter and summer seasons or sooner if I find any issues with my unit.

Richard and his team were knowledgeable, quick, clean, and professional. Econo West was our third proposal and turned out to be the best to fit our expected budget for same work as our first two proposals and quality equipment. We accepted their proposal on a Sunday afternoon and they were ready to start the next morning on Monday. They installed a completely new HVAC system, and a larger return and smart thermostat. Our 30 year old original system was barely functioning and terribly inefficient. Our AC hasn’t worked in 5 years and when it did, hardly made a difference in summer. I’m sure the others we received proposals from are fine contractors and do good work but Richard from Econo West didn’t hard sell a system or work we didn’t need and came in just under our budget number, which was not disclosed to any of the three contractors.

The service provided by Angel was outstanding. He let me know when he was on his way. He was thorough and explained everything he was doing throughout the process.He cleaned the entire unit, including the outside of the panels.He was very nice, professional and personable.I haven’t used any other HVAC company in 35 years.
