The sales rep that came needs improvement. Gave me his spiel really fast. Asking him to slow down didnt repeatedly didnt help. I had to ask the same questions several times. He lied to me saying i would get 3 free months. Salesmen are some of the worst people. Theres no follow up after the installation. I had no idea what i needed to do. From beginning to end the experience told me they dont care about me or appreciate the huge decision this is. The important thing to them is signing up.

Warning! I installed a Green Solar energies system on my house in Kansas approximately five years ago. The first time it went down it was down for nine months. The second time it went down it was down for three months. The third time it went down it was down for two months. This time it has been down for a month and all Green Solar energies does is keep giving me the royal runaround. Green Solar energies does not back their warranty. Every time I have a problem, it takes me months to get them to solve it. I warn anyone considering them to stay away. I paid $60,000 for an on again off again system.

The Green Solar system worked well for 5 years but then needed a new Inverter. An inverter was received at my residence and I worked with the Santa Fe, NM. office to have a local electrician complete the installation. The Calif. home office could not find anyone to place the new inverter in commission. I was without solar electrical support for 18 months and they would not reimburse the local electrician for the installation. I have found a solar company 20 miles from me who commissioned the inverter and got me back online in a couple hours. The 25 year warranty from Green Solar is a rude joke. BUY LOCAL.

I was disappointed with the how my transaction occurred when I purchased my whole house solar system in 2019, but we got a great product and have been happy up to this point.One of my inverters has been faulty and not producing, I was able to reach someone in late September after several attempts to include them missing the scheduled phone call. We ran a system check and power cycle, I responded with the information and photos requested to order a warranty replacement.I understand equipment failures, and this does not bother me but the follow up has been nothing. I have called and left messages, emailed the service tech. and customer service to no avail. The couple of times I get customer service live they have excuses and schedule follow up calls where I do not receive calls back. Simply said they are not following through with their warranty post sale, and if this is a selling point to you as it was to me I suggest looking for another vendor.

If I could give this company a zero star rating I would. If you are looking for reliable, professional, and knowledgeable solar company-this is not it. They do not install your panels correctly which cause breakage and do not properly align them for optimal efficiency. We have been trying to reach someone for months and they will not respond to any correspondences. Not even customer service will return our phone call. Matt, the project manager, is exceptionally rude and seems to lack education in his field of choice. They do not even respond to BBB complaints. BEWARE!

Green Solar has been awesome. The technicians that did the installation made sure the site was cleaned once the installation was complete. The project manager was always just a phone call away and always answered when we called. We NEVER got an automated call but always got a person. John was great!!!! The installation technicians were great!!! We are so excited to start saving money on our solar units. We just got online with our system today. So hopefully in 30 days we will be able to write another review about all the money were saving.

They are good with you when you are in the installation process but once they have your money they stop answering . One can never get in contact with their customer service and when you do they tell you to contact someone else that never returns your emails or calls. We were promised 5 free cleanings on 2018 when we got our system installed and when we try to redeem those promises nobody knows anything about it. They really like to play with people.

Frustrating Experience: Unprofessional Solar Panel CompanyI am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with GREEN SOLAR ENERGY/GREEN HOME SYSTEMS , a solar panel company that I regretfully invested $21,000 in seven years ago. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by unprofessionalism and a complete lack of customer service.First and foremost, one of the most glaring issues with GREEN SOLAR ENERGY/GREEN HOME SYSTEMS is their inability to answer the phone. I have lost count of the number of times Ive called their customer service line, only to be met with an endless stream of voicemails or a frustratingly long wait on hold. Its baffling how a company that deals with such significant investments fails to prioritize basic communication with their customers. Its not just a one-time occurrence; this has been an ongoing problem throughout the entirety of my seven-year relationship with them.Furthermore, their unprofessional conduct is evident in their overall customer service approach. Whenever I did manage to get through to a representative, their attitude was dismissive and apathetic, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer. They displayed a lack of expertise and were unable to address my concerns adequately. Its disheartening to invest such a substantial amount of money and receive such subpar treatment.In terms of the solar panel system itself, it has been far from reliable. Despite promises of exceptional performance and significant energy savings, the panels have failed to live up to expectations. Frequent malfunctions and issues have plagued the system, requiring numerous service calls and frustrating delays in getting problems resolved. The overall lack of quality and durability in the product is simply unacceptable given the substantial investment made.To sum it up, my experience with GREEN SOLAR ENERGY/GREEN HOME SYSTEMS has been a costly mistake. From their consistent failure to answer phone calls to their unprofessional and dismissive customer service, this company has shown a complete disregard for their customers. Coupled with the subpar performance of the solar panel system itself, it is evident that their promises were nothing more than empty marketing claims. I strongly advise against choosing GREEN SOLAR ENERGY/GREEN HOME SYSTEMS for your solar panel needs, as their unprofessionalism and lack of reliability have resulted in an incredibly frustrating and unsatisfactory experience.

My experience with Green Solar was super! My project manager was very informative about the whole process. He went over the layout of the panels,the power output,the permit process,the install time frame and set up all of the financing details for me. My installer called me and set up a time at my convenience. They showed up on time and did the install in a efficient and friendly way. I was totally happy with the aesthetics of the install and really impressed with efficiency of the whole process.My thanks to the whole team!

This has been a nightmare dealing with this company. We’ve have called every day with the problem that the system is simply not working. When we first received this system it worked for only a few month, then the problems started Inverter not working, electric bills still very high and no help from this company. I have asked to speak to someone who can actually do something with no avail. Either their not in, or I’ll have them call you back, or “ I’m so sorry this is happening to you, I personally will look in to this and get back to you”, with no action ever happening. Now the ceiling in one of my bedrooms have fallen due to water damage and per adjuster, pictures showed water coming from the screws from the Solar Panels so not covered by our insurance. And no answer from the Green Solar Technologies after numerous phone calls. So people please if you want to go solar, deal with your local companies that will be able to take your concerns seriously. Once this company gets your money, they no longer will deal with you! It’s been an agonizing lesson and a very expensive one. I realize this company is not one to honor their contract. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! I will be making my disapproval of this company public. It’s the only way I can protect others from making the same mistake! I think everyone her should get together and file a lawsuit against this company for deceptive practices.

Hi, We had Green Solar Technologies install solar panel on our roof of house and garage last summer(2018). They work very hard to get things right the first time. They are very professional and competitive on price. We have 2 Tesla’s and feel we are do our part to go green. Would not hesitate to use this company again!

So far not good. Signed the contract in December, and after storing the solar panels in my garage for over 3 months, it was finally installed In late March. They said the delay had to do with my HOA, but they did I not even start the HOA paperwork until the middle of February. It should have been started in December. Since the beginning, we have had 1 solar panels out of the 27 that was very under producing, and it took over 6 months of complaining before someone finally came out to replace it. It was not until I threaten to call a lawyer that they finally reacted. Also all the 27 solar panels are not producing as much as they were in the first few months, so I know there is more issues with the solar panels. We already spent so much money having them installed, I don’t want to spend any more money having someone else figure out if there is also any wiring/electric issues. We went from not paying anything to Edison in the first 3 months, to now having to paying during (what is supposed to be) peak production summer months. And with 27 panels, we estimated that ever month we were supposed to receive a credit. Also the layout (where the panels are supposed to sit on the roof) that was approved by the city is not the same layout that is actually on my roof.

This is the worst company ever. They are incapable of the truth. We started this process a year ago. The subcontractor never finished the job and the work he did do is subpar. They sent a company from Arkansas to my home in Illinois. Not done. They sent a local company times 2 - work not done. Now they sent a 4 th company from Quincy Il. No idea if the work will ever be done. The first loan company took their money back. Stupid is we signed with another lain company. The work will never be done and most likely not correctly if it ever does. Now we have to get our own attorney. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY2 years later still not done and never will be.

This company is awesome! The products are top quality with an excellent warranty.They handled everything from start to finish making this an easy upgrade to my home. Great customer service and support.We have a 9kw grid tie system that functions perfectly.Thanks Green Solar!

My experience with Green Technologies was trouble free. Everything that I was promised has come to pass. The financing was approved as promised. The installation was completed early and my solar generation system has been inspected and approved. Hamilton Electric placed the system in parallel operation with with their system seven days prior to the promised date.I have and will continue telling my friends and neighbors about my system and recommending that they contact Green Technologies about a similar system.

Please read! Customers are not their priority.I was simply trying to get a quote for purchasing solar panel system for my house. I pay for the electric bill and would be paying for the solar panels, but they refuse to quote me for the project because the electric bill is in my Dads name, And hes not available to get on the call. Apparently this is too much of a crazy situation for them to handle and they dont care about serving the person who is purchasing the panels.Anyways, maybe I just got stuck with a bad rep or the rep has a sad manager or something. Not trying to point fingers just interested in purchasing a solar system.If youre in the market, I would highly recommend checking out energy pals. I think its energypal.comIm in no way associated with them, I just had a very pleasant experience with them in steep contrast to a back-to-back call with these puppets.With an office in North Hollywood, my assumption is they just dont care about my business when they saw my address is not in Beverly hills or something more profitable for them. Or maybe my mistake was mentioning that I was trying to be responsible and get a second quote. I would highly recommend getting an additional quote if youre in the market. I hope this helps somebody. When I got this started I had trouble getting answers from the sales person, the job supervisor & the contractor. They each would say get ahold of ....It took some time, but I got it worked out. The installation was fast & clean. I am very happy with my $5.00--6.00 PG&E bill each month. I had trouble getting signed into the monitoring site. For 12 months I tried. I finally got in touch with Jayleen Brooks, Customer Service & she fixed it right away. If you stay on top of them Green Solar Tech. will give you a great product.

Green Solar was knowledgeable and professional. From sales and financial consulting, through material delivery and project supervision, a specific consultant was available each step of the process. Initially, I was slightly concerned to learn the local installers were 7 hours away, but I couldnt have been more pleased with the friendly and knowledgeable installation crew, and the care and respect they showed me and my property. I cant wait to have the system turned on and begin offsetting my electric bill.

Great customer service!!!We joined Green Solar at the first of the year to have dolor panels installed at our house. During the time frame we did have several questions & were always answered quickly! They have gone out of their way to help us understand all the process!

I dont have anything negative to say.1) the whole experience was made easy2) everyone I worked with was very professional and they wanted to please me at every step3) the end product was beyond my expectations4) the installation team was polite and hard working. We had bad weather, didnt matter, they worked in it and into the dark.Highly recommend them

Excellent. System works just like they said it would. Construction went well and we were kept informed. We had only one issue with the electrical subcontractor and Jim, our construction project supervisor took care of that. Very pleased with the system and have already recommended Green Solar to others.

This is a great company. From start to finish, the explanation, estimate, and job completion was perfect.  No surprises, no lies or exaggeration, and on time arrival every day the crew were here.  No mess was left.  The panels are put up exactly in the center of my metal roof and lined up is a perfectly symmetrical rectangle.  It is a work of art.  Functionality is super.  Cant wait for my first electric bill.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

We highly recommend working with Green Solar if you’re wanting to go with solar power for your home or business. Every person we worked with from beginning to end of the process was friendly and professional. Everything was handled for us in a timely, efficient manner and our system was installed to our satisfaction and looks good on our home. Everyone Ive been involved with during this installation has been wonderful. Especially Chris and Dave, my installers. The weather was not our friend to start out with, and they got cold and soaking wet in their attempt to get done as much as they could in that kind of weather. Im excited to start using my solar panels as soon as my utility company comes to change out my meter! Thanks to all involved!

After shopping around, I decided to go with Green solar as they had the best price and positive reviews. They all acted professional and did top quality work. There was a period of a few weeks which I didnt hear from them and had to call to ask whats up?. But I was given a status and you just have to wait your turn. Permits and SCE seemed to take too long and added delays in the process.Make sure to read on solar power before getting a system. An informed buyer will save thousands.Overall, I would recommend green solar.

Dennis was very helpful and worked to resolve the equipment issues we experienced at start up, He called to make sure all issues were fixed, including a three way call with the installer. The installation took longer than necessary because incorrect inverter was not replaced timely. Once the proper equipment was received the install went smoothlyJack Walker

I started looking into Solar back in May, I was contacted by Green Solar and I received a quote for my house. I got another quote from a local dealer then after further research I decided on Green Solar, I was very satisfied with Robbie and Josh, after I approved the design about a week later the equipment was shipped and the installers did a great job with the installation, the entire crew was very polite and completed the installation in 2 days. I am very satisfied with the entire process and highly recommend Green Solar. John Varner

Green Star Technologies has been awesome. My solar panels have reduced my electric bill bu more than half. The installation was professional and fast. No pressure sales. The staff is always available if I should need assistance. I highly recommend Green Solar for your solar needs.

These guys use a company solar edge which put out inverters that that break every 7 months. Since it’s under warranty it’s not Green Solar Tech. Problem anymore so you’ll go without your system working for 4-5 months. It takes Solar Edge 45 days from the time your inverter stops working to reach out to you. Then tell you no supplies available to send out. I had my system for 4 years now it has broke every year for a total of 3 times last 12 months of production.

Very pleased with my experience with Green Solar technologies. Every member of their staff were very nice and easy to work with!! Ive dreamt of having a home solar system installed and they made it extremely easy and workmanship is top notch!! I highly recommend them if you are considering going solar.

Green Solar Technologies offered a first class solar system and arranged installation of that system by an exceptional installer. I am very satisfied with Green Solar Technologies planning and design and their use of high quality solar equipment. Their complete service also extends to the financial arrangements to allow a distributed power solar system to be paid for in a realistic time period. Their 30/70 loan plan made it feasible for me to install a state of the art solar system that will pay for itself in output of energy and also when I eventually sell my house.

Purchased a system in 2019. The bait and switch on the monitoring of the system came 2 years later. Received the 1k part to monitor and had it installed finally after 5 months. The inverter went out last month and we werent notified. If I could give you negative stars, I would. Nobody answers the phone unless you are looking to purchase. Lawsuit is definitely in order.

This entire project was completed exactly as expected. Everything was explained in detail, and carried out and completed in a very professional and timely manner. Everyone from the salesman, project manager and construction crew nice, friendly, and competent. I am very pleased and if I decide to install solar panels on another project, I will use Green Solar Technologies of north Hollywood, CA.

Ten stars!! Everyone we dealt with at Green Solar - from sales to installation were highly professional. Financing was made easy. They took care of all the red tape and dealt completely with the electric company (PECO)- couldnt have been easier. Im very confident in the quality of the product. A shout out to Alien Fuel Solar Energy Solutions of Langhorne for fast efficient and clean installation. Highly recommend both of these companies.

I wanted to look into getting a solar system for my home. The problem is there are so many solar companies out there I was confused. By chance, I spoke to one of my friends who hired Green Solar Technologies to do his house.They offer a total package of services...from the hardware, software, financing and after service.It was so easy..from start to finish. They provided me with so many attractive ownership options, spelled out all the advantages; tax advantages, property advantages, environment advantages, self sufficiency advantages...etc. The managers, the project people, everyone including the president of the company himself contacted me to make sure I was completely satisfied.If you want the real deal, contact Green Solar Technologies. You wont be disappointed.

My experience with the personnel at Green Solar Technologies and at Fosler Solar, the subcontractor here in Illinois, was excellent! The Green Solar representatives stayed in touch throughout the process and made my homeowners task very easy. Fosler Solar personnel were also great to work with, completed the install and cleaned up all of the extra bits and pieces that remained. I have already experienced a full month of no electrical bill, except for the companys small operational fees. I am happy to recommend Green Solar Technologies!

We just had our solar system installed working with Robbie Hebert and Josh Kval at Green Solar Technologies. These men were focused and provided attention to detail on all facets of this project. Our equipment and supplies came in quickly and the install crew with Alternatex had them on the roof the day they picked them up. This project was a completed with no issues what so ever. I put down a deposit because Sal my salesman rep told me I had to do that to show that I was serious about looking into the panels. Long story short, I ended up going with another company who gave me a better price, and 6 months later, Im still trying to get my deposit back. No one is returning my phone calls. Ive called at least 7 times and have emailed Sal personally..Nothing!! This company is shady!! Should never have given them any $ as a deposit!!

Most impressed with them keeping in contact with us thru every phase of the project. We ask lots of questions, and they were most helpful with lots of answers. The installers were very friendly, and very competent. We are excited to have solar--especially when the meter turns backward!

The whole process from start to finish was made simple by Green Solar Technologies and their subcontractors. In fact the hardest part of the whole deal was getting my HOA to approve the installation. I look forward to many years of near zero electric bills - Thank you Green Solar Technologies.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!! double check their numbers and ask questions!! also record your conversations. As they do EVERYTHING THROUGH THE PHONE!! WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEY ARE SAVING YOU MONEY, ITS NOT TRUE. THEY WILL CALL YOU AFTER YOUR FIRST QUOTE CLAIMING TO SAVE YOU MONEY ON THIS SECOND QUOTE! SALES TACTIC. We OVERPAID by at least 1000+ Dollars Then about another 1000+ dollars in damages to our BRAND NEW ROOF. There financial department CEO is extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant!! Should be FIRED!!! I kept trying to go over the numbers with him and send him my calculations on how his are wrong and make no sense and he literally avoided it. Was not clear AT ALL where he kept getting his numbers. just jumped from one number to the next with no explanation and gave me the run around and when I did it with him to show him the number discrepancies He would interrupt me every time I got there and go back and repeat himself. He also didnt even use our numbers! Used the initial quote not the second quote given!!They then over charged us for our roof. they charged us 12000 dollars for a little over 8500 dollar roof and only gave us back 2500 dollars. That is then 9500 we paid when our roof only cost a little more then 8500. The financial guy I dealt with excuse was that they were already giving us a discount. Sooo, it covered that discount. and they claimed multiple times they were giving us a deal and not making any money??? okay. Not true at all. it is literally the exact same cost with or without there supposed deal according to other houses in our area that got solar with the same SQ footage. we ended up paying more!. We paid 54599 dollars for a new roof and solar panels. which by my calculations should have only cost with fees and extra cost btw around 50800 dollars. with there 2500 dollars they gave us it is about a 1200 dollar difference. These are just round about numbers, but I can show you the exact cost comparison if you like have loads of proof they OVER CHARGED. And to top it all off there Sub (who told them they didnt want to get on the roof cause it was brand new, but was pushed by the company) damaged our roof. our roofer estimated about a 1000 dollars in damage. and of course this company refuses to cover damages. saying its the sub. I HIGHLY DISAGREE. THIS COMPANY IS DEFINITELY LIABLE AS THEY ARE THE MAIN CONTRACTOR AND SHOULD BE THE ONES TO FIX THIS ISSUE. This corporation is OUT FOR YOUR MONEY. DO your research!!!! the only positive is the PM was awesome to work with extremely nice and tried his best to get us some more of our money back, but he can not do anything because that is not his area and he had no pull. I think that is the only time they were being honest . The only other good thing is the solar panels are working pretty good so far, but it has only been a couple months. The subs were very good to. Just saying double check their numbers before agreeing to it and make sure it is all written down and recorded. It sure looks to me we are due AT LEAST another 1000 to 2000 dollars.

I was contacted by Michael Mecuro on or before 5/22 to discuss solar options for our home. It is during his presentation that I came to understand about the IRS tax credits and the local Oncor rebate that would assist me in paying for the very expensive solution. I was informed at the time that I qualified for the maximum rebate from Oncor of $8,500. I was then handed off to Keon Kidd to work on closing the deal. It is during his presentation that the rebate and tax credit was reinforced. I moved forward with the solar contract with the understanding that I would have work with my tax accountant for the Tax Credit and my solar provider would have to submit my application for the Oncor rebate. We are now a month after installation completed. I called my contact at the outsourcer contracted by Green Solar, to find out the status of my Oncor rebate and was told I won’t be getting an Oncor rebate as Green Solar is not certified to file for the rebate with Oncor and the outsourcer does not submit rebate request for non-direct customers. I feel like I was intentionally misled with regards to this rebate when Green Solar was fully aware they are not capable of providing such a rebate and had no agreement with the outsourcer they picked to file for said rebate. This is misleading and fraudulent!

I dont know all those five start reviews came from. May be real customers or may be paid to do the reviews. Here is my story with this company. The sales man named SAL came by and took our signatures saying it is not going to affect anything and will be able to cancel within 2 weeks. He needed it because he needs to see if we can get the solar subsidies. Since the time he left, we tried to call him and his company on several occasions and left messages too, but no call back or emails. Just a heads-up.

I found the guys at green solar very helpful. They worked hard to get me the financing and work it out. The guys that came to set up the solar on the property were very creative. We have worked and looked at putting in the solar system with other companies and no one came up with this same idea and it was very successful

My experience was devastating. I am still dealing with massive damages caused by their subcontractor, which they they state doesnt; concern them. They subcontractor damaged my roof and caused my entire roof to collapse. Huge damage. We had mold in the walls. We had to deal with serious health hazards. The damage exceed $50K so far and now we have to go to court on top of that. When we contacted them to discuss this matter, they kept sending us away to talk to their subcontractor ROOF RITE. The owner Gabor ignored us first, until we sent pictures pictures and proof of the massive damage they had caused. Gabor just responded with vague excuses, trying to buy time and hoping we would just go away. WE DO NOT GO AWAY! We are now filing a legal complaint. We are placing reviews everywhere because people should know about their unprofessional tactics. Very shady tactics indeed. Feel free to contact me and I give you more details and show you pictures.

Very sketchy company. They will say a deal over the phone but not write anything down and want you to give your dob, ss number, full name.... First solar company that i researched to do this. I asked Yaniv to send me a proposal so i can compare and think about with family that were not present during phone call. He argued with me a long time about sending me what their offer was in writing. Then finally he said he would put in email what offer was. However he never sent it. He later argued with me more that he sent it... How about just try sending it again or have a professional offer written up before you expect me to give personal information. Needless to say I am not going with this company. Try any company but this one!

Horrible customer service!!! Made promises to have it all completed in 3 months. It’s been 6 months and now I have two bills instead of one. I have Mosaic and Edison but when I call everything is working perfectly. I regret getting this panels wrong decision.😩😞

Ive been trying to get service to remove the panels and have them reinstalled so that my roof can be repaired due to hail damage to my shingles. This is a request that I will pay for!! And still I cant get anything from them. I started reaching out in July....its now October and still nothing from them....

There was no follow up. The project manager never got anything done with the HOA. They said they would put their lawyers on it. It never happened. All promises no delivery. It has been months and they have done nothing. As they say in Texas, all hat no cattle. There are many other higher rated companies.Since I posted this honest review I have recieved a cease and desist letter. They are afraid of the truth. I guess if you are honest they intimidate you. NOT ME. Tod these crooks to sue me.They are a joke. An expensive joke but a joke. You know an expensive con.Started in early May. Now we get to have big bills because we relied upon your lies.If you are reading this please find a reputable company. They have threatened me because my review is acurate and honest. CROOKS!!!

These guys are friendly and professional at first, but if you need their help or you cross them, god help you. The supposed CEO left me a nasty voicemail and text message basically calling me a deadbeat. He also said he didnt care what my work schedule was and that I needed to work my schedule around them. If the CEO of a company will treat you like that, makes you wonder how customer service will be like years down the road. I wish I could post the voicemail or text message on here.

I have 33 panels and the new inverter box installed on my home. Very modern look, very professional install from a local company here in Texas. I pay 12 cents and sell back at 11. A much better way to go

6 years later I have to repost an update for green solar technology. 6 year ago they installed solar and replaced my roof . Since we have been receiving more rain the usual now I’m starting to experience roof leaks . Called to let the company know talk to the rep and sent pictures. I was told she was going to look into it but never received a text or a call back . Please stay away from them . They do not stand behind their work. ALL LIES

Horrible customer service once you make it past the sale department and sign your contract. I am trying to sell my home and need information on how to transfer the warranty. I have been calling for weeks with no answer back. The only phone line that has anyone answering is their sales department, who always promise to send ur request thru to the proper people, but still no call. Not even asking for them to honor their warranty or contract, just wanna transfer it when my home sells. My system was installed in 2020 and to date I have not been able to reach anyone in customer service.

Green Solar Tech made it very easy for us to get into solar for our home. We already use solar to power cooling fans in the house attic and the shop. We also use solar on our camp trailer to run electric appliances. But the package deal that GST offers makes it very easy to get into solar for our home. They offer assistance getting the financing arranged so that we can take advantage of government rebates or credits early in the process. They designed a very clean-looking system to install on our roof, one Ill be happy to show off to my friends. I recommend using GST to have your solar done.

Everyone worked hard to get us qualified and hooked up for solar. Dennis Boyd has walked through the process with us every step of the say. Dan and his crew of electricians were top notch. We are up and running and loving it.

Green Solar Texhnologies has been awesome from start to finish. My panels were installed professionally and in a timely manner. They discovered Oncor/TXU wasn’t properly crediting me for the energy I was PepsiCo g and had t been for over a year. They immediately set about getting the problem corrected. Then they reviewed over a years worth of electric bills and issued me a check to compensate for the error made made Oncor. That’s what I call service.

Great experience from sales to installation. Small delay due to weather, but installation crew and project manager kept us well informed. Would recommend for anyone considering going solar.

The reason its rating a three is because of the misleading sales pitch from Carl McNeil. While covering the finances option he told me the load will reamortized after the year. He stated the loan was interest rate free for a year. Lastly he promised a chrome book for some of the mistakes while covering his sale pitch. The time came to sign the loan the finance company said the loan will not reamortized that payment will stay the same. Strike two the loan is not interest rate for year as stated by Mr McNeil. Strike I email to obtain the status of the chrome book he promised me in his own accord . He replied back he would work it . A month past I emailed him again and this time he didnt replied at. So a word of warning to anyone dealing with sale man dont trust Him at all!

Great product! Had solar pannels put up when tge weather wasnt as nice as it could of been! They woeked very hard to get everything done and set to start producing electric. Recommend to people who either want to save money, help the enviornment, live off the grid or all the above!

Going Solar in Beeville texas, great customer service.

They do not tell you the whole truth, I still pay power bills, and wish I did not go solar, this month my power bill was almost $400. I was told that I would not have a power bill, and still no back up battery system.

The personal at GreenSolar are non commutative. I have ask them to keep me aware of the situation. the installer has hung-up on me. The sola r panels are still in my garage after three weeks.

I must admit that I was skeptical that everything would be as smooth as the folks at GST made it all sound at the beginning, however it WAS! I didnt have to do anything. The entire process was handled by GST, and Ive had solar power cranking for several months now. GST did not misrepresent the amount of power I would be generating, or misrepresent anything. You can trust what they say. Im extremely pleased with GST.

Everything went well considering the stuff that happened on our end. The ball got dropped by them when it took a month to get the panels online after they were installed. Other than that we had a good experience.

The whole process is easy and they are very helpful, the technician installing the panels informs you of what he is doing and what to expect. I would recommend this to a home in the lower rgv as we should be harvesting the sun.

They’re just good when troducing their product. Once you bought their product. It’s very hard to contact them specially i am having problems with it for a long time. They are always on answering service. I am still paying my electric bill and at tbe same time paying the product. Regret buying this product.

“Engineers” who were not familiar with the products, incredibly long install period, damage to the interior and exterior of both houses (GST did reimburse me for the repairs), incredible amounts of stress and the systems aren’t really making a difference. I will not be using GST again.

Long story short - the company lacks professionalism. Our neighbor used Green Solar for their solar installation. The company - instead of paying and arranging their own trash bins to throw away all their commercial debris and trash; the company decided to use our trash bins. Keep in mind - our neighbor is using them. They filled up our trash cans with trash, including filling our Green garbage bin (green for biodegradable waste or compostable materials) with concrete debris, metal junk, and others. See photos. Contacted the company but they just ignore. Unprofessional company, I would suggest you stay away.

I had a system installed by Green Solar Technologies. The installers did the roof installation improperly. I now have several leaks in my roof. I have made multiple calls to their customer service number over the last 6 weeks. There is never anyone available and all you get is a voicemail system.I have left multiple messages.They have yet to return any of my calls. Interestingly, I asked for a quote on a new system and got 4 calls in two days.Their contract requires that anyone who works on the system must be approved by them or it voids the warranty. Since they seem unable to respond to identify such a contractor, effectively their warranty is worthless.I strongly recommend that you avoid this company. At this point I have to consider them to be fundamentally dishonest. They promise support, but dont provide it.5/8/23A representative of Green Home Systems (apparently a sister company) called and said they would resolve the issue. I will add to this post when the issue is resolved.5/17/23A second representative called and said he would be taking over my case and promised a quick and complete resolution.5/30/23There has been no further contact. No response to emails. The direct contact phone number is no longer in service.I stand by my original statement that this company is dishonest. They promise a warranty but do not honor it.I will add that Green Home Systems, which is apparently a successor company behaves in exactly the same manner re. customer service.

After purchasing an install. They have never inquired about the function of the equipment never sent a tech out. The installers didnt seal the roof penetrations. Best of all I am spending $350 a month on panels and have yet to even save .50 cents on my monthly electric bill. I think solar is a hoax.

Micro inverters not reporting, Enphase systems has told Green Solar to send a service tech to my house but all I am getting is lying or being ignored by Green Solars customer service.My system is down, I need help.

They got the money and they forget about you.Be careful!Think twice before taking any decisions!

Green Solar Technologies is the best place to get solar panels. From the beginning, where we purchased the best made solar panels, and throughout the process of getting all the permits approved to installation, Green Solar Technologies handled each step with their professional team. Their expertise did all the leg work and we went solar quickly. The only problem experienced was winter came in the middle of that and I didn’t want anyone on the roof with snow on it. Thankfully we got a few warm days and the contractor did what he could and within 2 weeks all was installed. I would buy all over again with Green Solar Technologies. Great team and company to work with.

If you are looking to install Solar System please do not use this company. In the beginning they contact you non stop and offer you everything they can to prove why you should pick them only to find out that they like deceiving people. They withhold full information and go with the plan convenient for their company. They took from us $29k paid in full only to find out that it doesn’t cover a single electric bill! Over and over we explained what we were looking for with promise that they would deliver. So many countless conversations we had over and over again with no actual resolution. The last manager we talked to claims that she was the last resort and no one is higher than her. Then she expects us to stay calm knowing they took so much money with no resolution and saying good luck to you with our legal dept. many of our customers who end up going that route loose. I will continue to research and find out who is over her and continue to let everyone I know of how awful this company is and hope that no one else ends up feeling like this.

I had my 6 kW system installed in 2017. In 2021 I had a problem with an optimizer In the system. They diagnosed the problem remotely and sent a new optimizer in the mail. I was scheduled for a generator install through green solar technology And the optimizer was installed by the people who installed the generator. My system was working fine until May of this year 2022. The system shut down and said unsafe DC voltage every time it tried to restart. I called Green Solar Technologies to let them know and they said they would get somebody out to look at my system. It is now September of 2022 And a technician has not come out to look at my system. Ro Aiello, the customer service manager, did call and leave a message that they were trying to get somebody to find the time in their schedule to come out and look at my system. To this point, Sept 9th 2022 no one has come to diagnose my system and no power has been generated since May. I am loosingmy patience.It is now March of 2023 I have not been able to contact customer service since last fall. I paid a local solar company to look at my system and he needed some information from Green Solar Tec. He contacted them to send him the info he needed to work on my system and did not receive the information requested. I am stuck not being able to get this very expensive power system back up and running. DO NOT BUY YOUR SOLAR POWER SYSTEM FROM GREEN SOLAR TEC.It is now May 2023 It has been one year since my system has made any power. Green Solar Technologies customer service department has completely disappeared. When I contact the sales office they are calling themselves Green Solar Home now and say they will have to do some research to see if I am one of their customers and that they will get back to me. No one has contacted me about what they have found in their research. I would be a fool if I thought there was any research done. I owen a trucking company and I am in the Los Angeles area often. They will soon have a large truck parked on the street in front of their office while I make a delivery of my disapproval of their customer service. Please let me know if anyone else would like to join me.

I wish I could leave a 5 star review like so many others, but this companies customer service is some of the worst I have had to deal with.This company took a very long time to start my install. Every time I spoke to them, they had a different excuse as to what was causing the hold up. When I told them I wanted to cancel, I was informed I would be charged $10,000 to get out of the deal. When the install finally started, the local crew was great. However, unsurprisingly there were issues, and every time Green Solar said someone else was to blame. Now that the system is operational I am still experiencing problems. The monitoring app has not worked in almost a month. When the monitoring app worked, I saw several panels that are producing way less than others. I have contacted Green Solar to discuss possible solutions and for over a month all I get is we are looking into it and will get back to you.Update 11/26/19:The day after I posted this review, the company contacted me promising to fix the problems. Waiting to see how it goes.Update 12/11/19My monitoring app is working now, but it was the local installer who helped with that not Green Solar. It has been 2 weeks since this company promised to contact me regarding my other issues, and nothing.

Excellent throughout the process. However, once the job was completed and they got paid, I never heard from them again. Left messages but no return calls. Good customer service extends past the the initial sale which this company fails to have. This company proved to me that there excellent customer service ends once the check has been cut. It’s too bad because I was really gonna advertise for them to all my friends and family. But they have failed to follow through so I have a change of heart. 4 stars for quality and good professional installation with good customer service through the “initial” process. 1 star for continued customer service.

We live on an island in a hurricane zone so were initially concerned about wind and corrosion. With discussion and engineered diagrams and approval from the local building inspectors we went forward with the project.Great process from start to finish, good communication with sales and installation staff.Make sure your grid energy supplier accepts reverse power as ours (CPL) did not. So they got a month or two of free energy from our house.Green solar helped to find a supplier that was happy to accept our switch (Green mountain Energy)We had an inverter malfunction, which was replaced via warranty, it took a few weeks due to back order but Green Solar helped to speed up the process and keep me informed.Although a big capital acquisition I am very happy with the whole process and our energy savings so far, but its not just about a smaller electric bill, trying to do a small part for the future of the planet for my daughters.Highly recommend this group for your installation.Wayne, Roxy and Makayla

Worse customer service ever. Last year inverter went out waited for a service tech 5 months. Now my system is down again wicking main breaker waited 3 months so far and now its still down and no one will return my calls

From day one I have been extremely pleased with Itai Hazan! I had a 9.66 kw system with LG panels, and they have been working great! He has been beyond helpful throughout the process! He was very knowledgeable and honest with me from the start and was with me every step of the way. As you can imagine I had so many questions and heard so many horror stories on reps just wanting a sale but not one time did he hesitate to answer in a timely manner. It’s been 4 months since Itai helped install my system and he still answers questions and can I honestly say he has become a friend.

One year now of our solar panels in full operation and were very pleased. We had one small problem when one of the cells stopped working and the company sent out a technician and replaced it promptly. Great customer service and were loving the zero electric company bills.

I have only had Green Solar Panels for a few months, but I am really happy with the choice that I made to install them. I have already seen the benefits and savings of my choice to go with Green Solar. I will continue to spread the word how beneficial this choice is.

Our residential solar system was installed in fall of 2018. All went fine during the purchase and installation process. We live in far northern California, near the Oregon border. Green Solar hired installers out of Humboldt County to the south, who traveled here.In May 2021, we were informed that our inverter had failed and was not working. We received a new inverter several weeks later, with the promise that wed be notified as soon as installers were identified.To date, the inverter is still in the box. Communication has gone back and forth between SolarEdge and Green Solar - with no resolution. Green Solar said it was the responsibility of SolarEdge to install, SolarEdge now says after months that we are out of their territory range (they are in the bay area) and sorry about the confusion.At this point, weve lost the most productive time of the year to capture solar - and probably think this has cost us well over a thousand dollars. Meanwhile, we pay $259/month to a finance company toward our $60,000 initial loan.This is all totally unacceptable. If a California company cannot find someone to replace our inverter, why is it selling systems in California?Seriously......this doesnt speak well of solar at a time when we need more solar panels and more alternative energy.We were simply trying to be a part of a solution. But at what cost?

These guys know how to get the job done. The equipment, technologies and installation were perfect. Though the price may be steep at first the advantages of solar and what we are doing or not doing to the environment is fantastic.

Our installation was handled very efficiently and quickly. The only objection was the installation of conduit. A run through the attic would have been preferable, with the minimum visible on the wall. Otherwise, we are very happy with the installation.

The worst customer service! I’ll be short, the panels stopped working in January, it took 2 months to “fix” it (just replaced the fuse), it broke again a month later, they replaced fuses again! The very same week panels stopped again, this was June, it is November and they still have no idea what the problem is.Do not buy these panel, they are expensive and useless! And customer service is the worst!!!

Process was very easy and everyone at Green Solar Technologies, from the project coordinator to the construction crew were great to deal with. Im excited about the 7500 watts being produced during peak time with 35 panels. Going green never felt so good!!

Before going with Green Solar Technologies, I checked out a few other companies and did my homework about leasing vs purchasing so I understood what I was getting into.The sales person, Johnny was up front and able to answer all my questions. It wasnt a hard sell since I knew what I wanted and they were able to provide it. I am fortunate to have plenty of south-facing roof space so I was able to get a rather large (10kw) system.Installation was smooth which impressed me They showed up on time, were very organized and clean and paid a lot of attention to safety.The whole process was smooth and I was kept informed the entire way through. Green Solar provided all the technical and equipment for my solar system, even though my system has only been in operation for a month I am satisfied with the performance of the system. Green Solar makes financing the system easy and affordable. the only qualms I have with the company is getting in contact with them, some times it took several weeks to get an return call from them.

We are very well satisfied with the level of knowledge, professionalism and courtesy offered us by all the employees connected to Green Solar Technologies, including any sub-contractors. The only draw back weve had is the amount of time it is taking for our energy provider to inspect the installation. We have received information for requiring payment from the loan office, but we are still unable to use the service. Payment should not be expected until ALL inspections are complete, and the unit is up and running. As is, well have two bills to pay now. Not at all happy about that!!!!

I guess there is a misperception. When one has solar power, it only means you can produce energy and sometimes they might buy it back.. But if there is an theres an outage in your area, you will also experience it! Hopefully, the excess energy that will be produced by our system will be sufficient to accumulate extra credits so that we no longer have to pay for electricity. Thanks to Green Solar Technologies!

The instillation was a little slow but I do live in the country. The installers had to come back a few times but they got it done and were very nice. I am very happy with the solar system.

Green Solar took a history of my electric bills and designed the appropriate system for our household needs. My contacts with each member of the company, from sales to finance matters to project manager, were positive. Anytime I had a question, the responses were helpful and educational. If I had it to do over again, I would choose Green Solar for this project.

My project manager did a great job for us from start to finish. He kept us informed and was quick to address any concerns. Awesome job!

Once the installation approached, things moved along very nicely and swiftly. The issue I had was primarily in the weeks and months ahead of the instillation. It just seemed to drag on and on, plus there were some oversights as to whose contract was being worked etc. I realize that it is difficult working with the County for permits, etc. but I was not certain that the time frame I was lead to expect was actually being implemented.I did, however, truly appreciate accessibility of the project manager, planner, finance, etc. If I called them, they quickly responded, either on the spot, or shortly afterwards. I was also given periodic updates and notified of changes. The price was also a lot lower than some of their competitors...3 of which I contacted, and one that I actually signed their contract, but after checking on Green Solar, I was able to cancel the deal within the 3 day rule. The Green Solar sales reps appeared to be very honest and trusting and did not try to sneak in some expensive surprises. What they advertised, is what I got. Lastly, I was VERY impressed with the final sequence of events...the installation, the speed and professionalism demonstrated, the willingness to answer any of my questions, their explanation about how the system works, and their follow-up. They also contacted SMUD for me, and they also offer a hefty referral fee.

Despite weather related setbacks as far as days that were not feasible for working on icy roof, the job went remarkably well. The installers cleaned up after completion and went through operating instructions. Overall I am completely satisfied . We have had 4 sunny days since the system has been operating and we are generating more power than we are using.Dave in Montrose, Co

A 4kw project and a 6 kw project ready for installation in February 2016.A first electrical contractor cancelled just before installing any panels, causing a 3 month delay in both installations. Trying to cancel the contract to have it done by a local company (also much cheaper) was followed by threads of law suite to the ring of $10k.4 kw completed and functional in June before they got paid (June).Now 6 months after 6kw panel installation completed, still no production (Nov 2016)!!nobody concerned but me...

Talked to these folks about installing a system on my semi-rural property. The salesperson was nice, but asked questions that were so ambiguous I was constantly asking what do you mean? On top of that, I scheduled an appointment to discuss the project with an engineer for about 19 hours later which I confirmed with the salesperson. They were very stern about respecting the engineers time by being available at the correct time. Mind you, this is the first contact I had with them. I had not even had an opportunity to not show up yet.A couple of hours later, I started getting phone calls, emails and texts insisting that I confirm the appointment (which I had just made). I was in a meeting at the time, but in the space of about 1.5 hours, I received repeated calls, emails and texts. WTH?? Im not staring at my phone or email and I JUST confirmed the appointment. Not only that, the communications did not ask me to confirm...they were more or less were texting to remind you of your appointment. if you cant make it, let us know and well reschedule...nothing specifically asking me to respond. I finally asked if they were waiting for a response from me, and they said yes so I confirmed. All their communications were unclear and not direct.Now, get this, THEY DIDNT SHOW UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT at the specified time! 45 minutes after the specified time, I texted them and asked what was up. They called me and said their engineers decided what I would need at my location was not cost effective for me. So you wanna harass potential customers to respect your time but dont offer it in return? I rescheduled my whole morning to be available. LAME and hypocritical. Good thing I didnt move forward and learn this later though.

Very positive experience with Green Solar. Communication was great and installation went quickly. Everyone from start to start up coordinated with us and each other smoothly.

My situation was a bit unusual. I have buried irrigation and electrical lines and wanted to install the posts and electrical conduit myself to avoid problems. Green Solar worked with me as I completed my portion of the installation which was delayed by heavy rainfall and deep water.The installation team showed up and connected their parts to my 2 inch posts. My utility was seeing its first solar project and worked closely with me and the installation crew to effect the meter change out. The standard meter was pulled, an output meter was installed and a reversing meter replaced the standard one. Five minutes later, the meters showed I was sending current into the utility grid.The utility company engineer said it was a textbook perfect install.

You cannot get an easier install. We worked out what we needed, and said go. Installer showed up, installed, cleaned up, and explained everything we needed to know, been saving over 150.00 a month since. All this with nothing down!

The GreenSolar team not only made it possible for me to achieve my goals but also made what would have been a complicated endeavor a painless experience. Because of them I understand solar power better than any web page Ive visited.Thank you GreenSolar, please keep up the good work!

The installers were great knew what they were doing it did take a while to get going but we are very hPpy with the system I’d like to have an app to compare energy earned with energy expended

Great over all experience with the install and overview of the system. Every step along the way from finding the system that would be best for me to the install was very professionally handled.The only thing that has not happen, I requested a yard sign for my yard and was told 1 would be sent out. It has been 2 months and I havent received one or gotten any meesage about one on the way. I have had several neighbors ask about the system and I feel a sign could help get more people intrestead in this system.

Everyone fromstarrt to finish were very profesional with their part of the experience. All questions asked were answered swiftly and thoroughly. Installers were on time and kept the area clean. Paperwork was clear and completed quickly. I would gladly recommend this company to friends and family in the future.

Im so dissatisfied with this company. I have had my Solar panels for a year now and Im only saving 12 dollars a month . Instead of one light bill I also have a bill that was financed for the the solar panels. I have contacted this company for 12 months now and they continue to put me off saying we will put in a fix it ticket and nothing has been done. They dont stand behind their product once they get your money. Im still trying to get them to do something about this situation. Its been months now they hasnt returned my call nor have they contacted me about coming out to check the solar system. I would not advise any one to deal with GREEN SOLAR Technologies. My experience with Green Solar Technologies was very good. I would recommend them to anyone that talks to me about solar. They were very good in answering all my questions.

Experience has been good, both wuth project manager Steve and installers Dan and his helpers. Took awhile for state inspector to come and was 1 problem; no papers were left in tube for him but he was,able to make a call and get what he needed.Phone call with Sandy in Finance office was very good - she was very parient and answered all my questions.

I was told one price than was told someone in their department messed up and gave me a higher price. I fell for the sales pitch and agreed to the higher cost. I do not know what I was thinking I guess I thought the person/company had my best interest. I feel as though I should have gotten the first quote with the additional panels. So listen and think about what their selling. As for the installation Green Solar was on top of getting everything done. So I would have given 5 stars if I felt I was not taken advantage of........Update spoke to a rep after my post went up. Lady seemed a little agitated but ok, I then said that I do not think I received the Veteran discount, Rep said I will look into this and get back to you. It has now been almost a month and I have not heard anything. As I thought about this conversation and what happened during the initial purchase, I know remember the sale person constantly referencing the federal 30% tax rebate that I was going to get so the $30,000 would be mor like $20,000 after I get the tax rebate on if I didnt use all 30% then I could use the rest next year.....Well I did not get any taxes back, I do not have enough taxes to get back. I medically retired from Active duty after 11 years of service so I great state Pennsylvania Grants me no property taxes for 5 years. So talk with your tax people to ensure you can receive this rebate. Good luck in helping improve our environment. ------ The rep blow smoke up my @#$$ still no return phone call about the Verteran discount...today Aug 30
