Calecco just completed a top to bottom renovation on my house. Murad and his team exceeded my every expectation. Calecco did such an amazing job and Murad was very professional that I will be calling Calecco again soon to begin work on my rental properties.I can’t stress enough how important it is to have the right contractor. Murad and Calecco came with very high recommendations and I’m so glad I called them.

We hired Calecco to convert an existing garage into an ADU and the experience left us feeling disappointed and disillusioned. We werent naive enough to think that our project wouldnt encounter any obstacles, but we couldnt have imagined just how frustrating an experience it would be. The lack of communication, shoddy work and prolonged delays we encountered along the way left us feeling angry and frankly, foolish that we entrusted Calecco to do the job. Murad wasnt appropriately engaged with our project and days would go by without an update on the work or where the project stood. We felt abandoned and left in the dark, feeling like our project didnt matter. When there was work being done, it was all too often farmed out to incompetent individuals. Bathroom tiling, electrical installation and grading were all done incorrectly and had to be fixed. Brand new hardwood floors were badly scratched up, the garbage disposal wasnt hooked up properly and the bathroom fan was never installed. All indicative of inadequate supervision and oversight. Given our experience, we will no longer use Calecco and hope this review may help others who are contemplating having similar work done.

We have worked with the Calecco Construction team for two projects and recommend them without reservation. From the initial experience of requesting a quote, Murad was prompt, professional and courteous. He patiently explains how renovations can be done and recommends approaches, without pressuring one into larger or more expensive projects. During the work itself, the Calecco crew arrived when scheduled, wore masks, and similarly conducted themselves in a courteous and professional manner.Murad was always available in person or by phone to discuss questions or concerns. He goes out of his way to help smooth over unexpected problems, including once driving me to a Home Depot to help select another oven when the original one delivered had a broken door, so that we could finish the kitchen on time. On another occasion he offered to replace the grout in our kitchen that was poorly done by a prior contractor. He noted while painting our house that two sets of air ducts were present, with a lower set non-functional, and offered to seal the ducts and replace the dry wall and matched baseboards so that the wall appeared new again. These small gestures of going the extra step, even when it was not written in a contract, demonstrated to us time and time again his dedication to doing the job correctly and his thoughtfulness.He completed the project within the estimated budget and on time, while not compromising on the quality of the work. We have now lived in the home for 6 months and continue to be impressed with the quality of workmanship. We are thrilled with the quality of the work and look forward to working with Calecco again in the future. We have our dream home now thanks to Calecco and hope that you can find the same.

Given the complexity of our project having irregular small lot and irregular shaped structures with heavy use of steel, Calecco Construction managed to deliver outstanding results by building a ground up four car garage with an ADU on top, ground up 2 bd/2ba townhouse and expansion/remodel to an existing house. They did a really good job in completing the project as per our needs. Calecco Construction recently completed a full remodel of my rental unit and Im extremely happy with the results. They were able to work with my schedule being out of town most of the time and completed the project on time. Excellent communication and updates throughout the process and Murad and the team were a pleasure to work with. They really exceeded expecations in every way.Whats more impressive is that I found them via a random Yelp search. They were one of the few contractors that offered a schedule estimate via Yelp and were extremely efficient and timely from the start. They also have a very nice social media presence so I knew they stood behind their work.
