Recently we had opportunity to work with NewHaus. Even though the price was higher than the other quotes we’ve got, my husband and I still found their estimate more reasonable. They were up to their promises, provided us updates every day. The roof was pretty old so we had to make sure everything is done the correct way with proper inspections and we trusted the right people to do this job. We got our certificate of warranty and the job, with minor hiccups, was done in 2 weeks. It’s such a relief knowing that, with the rainy season coming, we’ve got a solid roof over our heads. For the first time in seven years of owning this house, I don’t have to worry about it anymore

Recently had a roof replaced and was happy with the communication with Chris, JR and Allen. The project was costly but looks beautiful and finished quicker than expected. The workers mostly did a good job with cleanup after. I did have concerns about making sure the workers were taking care of some issues but when I mentioned it to Chris and JR they made sure they were being done right. The workers up on the roof worked really hard and were always on time.

I own Godspeed collision center in Sun valley. I usually dont write reviews very often, but newhaus Roofing deserves all the 5 stars! Not only is the owner extremely knowledgeable, his demeanor and professionalism is spot on. His Crew is clean, respectful, and punctual. Prior to my roof being replaced, I had a roof leak. Allen came to my property right away to assess the issue. Once we determined the problem, he gave me a very reasonable quote that beat other competitors in the area. Allen recommended a product that was made locally where I could go physically see and touch the material being used. His Crew discussed additional damage they found before removing any boards etc., and Art kept me 100% involved with any issues or new developments they found. I appreciated that so much because many other contractors would have done the work and invoiced me later on in the process. Over a year later, I experienced an unrelated issue with a different property. Allen came immediately to see what was going on and had someone back within a day to make the repair. He always makes himself available to respond to a text or a quick phone call.Newhaus is an elite choice if youre considering updating your roof!!

I have a house in San Bernardino and I had some roof problems. I had three estimates from three different companies and I chose to move with Newhaus because their team seemed to know what they were doing, and they did not disappoint. The guys did an awesome job. I recently engaged the services of Neuhaus Roofing Contractors to replace my roof. My roof is in two parts, a traditional shingle roof with a flat roof over the room addition. I was very impressed with the professionalism of my sales rep, Greg, and the project manager, Israel. Both men were readily available to answer all my questions and address my concerns. They were helpful with relevant suggestions and solutions where needed. In addition, I had the attic insulation replaced and am happy with that. Finally, they repaired the ceilings where I had water damage from the roof leaking. I would recommend anyone needing a roof replacement to consider Neuhaus Roofing Contractors for the job.

The standing water on the new roof they installed a couple of months again is like a swimming pool, causing large leaks into the existing sunroof(we had the sunroof way before the new roof) and the company has refused to fix it for the last month.Do you think these workers got wrong instructions from Denio M(the sneaky project manager who actually has no last name) that they were supposed to build a pool for us?!

NewHaus Construction was the first to contact us. Allen and Greg had visited us same day after our first contact and after providing presentation of what type of materials would be used we were very impressed. Throughout the process they were clear and concise with communication with us. When Allen and Greg arrived after demolition they had informed us that we had split decking and would need to overlay a OSB sheathing for the underlayment and waterproofing material before they add the new shingles so they could honor their warranty. They were very straight forward with us on what needed to be done. They had 3 man teams working on each phase of the project. All of their crews are highly skilled, professional and fast at what they do. Roofing was installed quickly and done right as our city came and passed the inspection. NewHaus Construction is very organized is because they are one of the few roofing companies to not subcontract their work out which was the reason we hired them.

My roof was leaking onto the patio when it rained. I hired NewHaus to repair and replace the roof. It was big job but it’s done and I’m very grateful. Thanks to NewHaus I can breathe now. Also thank you to Jack who introduced me to their services. Israel also. That we’re both very helpful and answered my questions as needed.

NewHaus is the best roofing contractor in the field.I’ve been dealing with contractors my whole life, I have over 15 properties and eventually they need maintenance.One of my houses in Torrance needed a replacement of the flat roof after the last contractor installed it improperly. Leo and Kevin came and it was the most thorough inspection! The whole process was explained to me, they finished the job in promised time frame. When we had the Hurricane Hillary I was worried and I called Leo, he told me that we are ready, and we were no leaks, he came after the Hurricane got into the crawl space and took a video for me from the attic. Im extremely pleased with the flat roof installed by NewHaus Roofing and Construction. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and it has proven to be durable and reliable. I highly recommend their services.

If this companies work reflects the way they treat the neighborhood of where their business is than I would run. We have called several times to politely ask them to PLEASE consider parking on victory or at least not park their big trucks so they take up all the parking on our streets. Where we can clearly put 2 cars in a spot they put 1, with an easy out as there is a driveway on both sides. They park in the middle so that no one can park in front or behind.Today I saw a poor woman carrying groceries 5 houses away from her house.Their response is “you don’t own the street parking”. So true. But we have manners and act with courtesy and they don’t. I would not recommend this company. We own a house in Palmdale. Newhaus roofing did my roof. They gave me a reasonable estimate. They replaced my old shingle roof to a new one. They did a really good job and the quality is awesome. Customer service is amazing and very polite.

I live in Woodland Hills, and about 2 months ago, I had a roof leak issue that needed immediate attention. I reached out to several roofing companies to assess the situation and provide estimates. While Nawhaus roofing didnt offer the lowest estimate, Im not one to always go for the cheapest option. After speaking with Ken from Nawhaus, it became clear that he truly understands his craft and is knowledgeable in roofing matters. I feel totally disappointed. A friend of mine is getting a tile roof replaced and he’s paying less then I did. My first quote was 20,000 and they came by about an hour after their laborers removed the roof and said one side was sagging and it would be another 20,000, and like a fool I let them do it. The more I hear what other people payed I feel totally taken advantage of. And there “professional roofers” which did a good job are obviously cheap labor.

After the heavy rains we expierienced during the recent rainy season my moms house was left with multiple leaks in the living room and bathroom. I found New Haus online and liked that they offered a free inspection. Boris showed up within a few hours and did a full inspection of the roof and attic. He showed us where the probllem was and offered multiple solutions. We decided to get rid of our tiles and went with a new cool shingle roof. It hasnt rained since but our house is much cooler this summer than it was last. And with the Warranty for 30 years our family is no longer worried about the leaks. Would highly reccomend New Haus to anyone that has any roof issues.

I was looking at buying a house and Home Advisor said they had a good rating along with a free estimate. House needed a new roof and I reached out for a quote and they would not give a free estimate. I hung up and left a bad review then someone else called and they gave me an estimate for taking down the review. The estimate was extremely detailed but didnt include a price. 30min later I receive a price with 0 detail to it. Just Price = 20k. After looking into them there are several people who seemed to be getting scammed. To me it looks like they tried to scam me by not providing a free estimate. Didnt even have their system setup to provide a customer estimate and sent me their internal very detailed estimate including material usage and several different amounts of wasted material by percentage with one column selected but importantly clipped off the cost to them. Then sent the no detail price that didnt appear to reference anything from the first document.

I spoke with and worked directly with Allen. Loved his professionalism as well as the work of the team. I’m extremely happy and satisfied with my roof, and if I had to recommend them to anybody, I would do so with a great deal of confidence.

They are best in business..if you need new roof or anything i would suggest to give them a call and their roof specialist Kevin will give you professional and detailed information on your roof. Their roofers have done a great job and cleaned up before and after their job. :)

We had an old roof that desperately needed to be replaced. I did quite a bit of research to find a good roofing company. After interviewing several companies, we went with New Haus. There were a few main reasons we chose them: they had a reasonable price, a fantastic warranty, they offer financing, but most of all, it was the great experience we had with our representative, Jack K. He was reliable, transparent, polite, considerate, and honest. I highly recommend Jack and would say that if you are considering New Haus, you should request him. Everyone did a good job, but Jack went well above what would be expected.

What really stood out was how fast they completed the job. I had a lot of contractors throughout and very seldom everything going as planned, however I guess it was my luck, as I expected it to take longer, but they finished ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality. We have a roof leak from the recent rain storm. We needed the why, how much and what our options were. Jack arrived on time, was extremely professional and got the information my husband needed to weigh options. Jack was not pushy and extremely detailed about what we should do. He is a good guy.

Had a complete roof installed and they cut my eaves to fix their mistake. Do not use this company. Never received an apology or renegotiation of price on a very expensive roof that they ruined.New wood was added to reinforce my roof. You cut the eaves of my roof because you ruined the flashing. Nails left all over my yard.

DO NOT HIRE Newhaus. You will realize when working with them: They Take Advantage of Senior Citizens, No Transparency/ Dishonest, Predatory Sales Tactics, Overpricing. Please look at their other 1 star reviews on Google, Yelp, Angie’s List, and BBB. They are not accredited by BBB and have a C- rating with 9 complaints closed in the last 3 years I wish I would have consulted my kids who told me should have focused on those 1 star reviews before hiring.I hired Newhaus to do a roof replacement which cost $24K which is still expensive. As soon as I signed the contract and the original roof was demolished everything went downhill. According to Newhaus inspector, George, we needed to replace all the plywood on our roof because it was not up to City Code. Before we could even assess the situation or review our options George told us we had to decide by tomorrow afternoon just after they demolished our entire roof and left it vulnerable to the weather. If we didn’t take their offer, they threatened to show pictures of “not to Code roof” to the city of LA which insinuated that we would also receive citations or not pass any inspection. Also, liability waiver signature would be needed, then give $1K deposit and then scare us into thinking there would be added delays. George claims he gave us the opportunity to say no but he didn’t give us much time to decide. After sharing my experience with other people, I later found out that as a homeowner you can schedule your own inspection appointment with the city. If the contractor claims it will take weeks, it is likely because the contractor chose not to schedule the inspection appointment for you, so verify the available inspection appts for yourself on the LADBS website.We took the added work for another $28K because we didn’t want any delays and leave our roof vulnerable to bad weather. When they provided estimates one of the glaring items was the price of plywood. According to their estimate it was $600 per plywood of 24 sqft, which is outrageous because at Home Depot it costs about $80. The work didn’t start 5 days after we signed the contract; all the rush for us to decide and they still made us wait.They started removing the old plywood and replacing it with new ones on Wednesday and then after work on Thursday, no hauling company picked up the trash till the following Monday. Based on what Marcos told me, the trash collector was filled, and they couldn’t get anyone else to pick up the trash. In my mind they’re already overcharging us by more than 200% and they can’t even afford to pay another hauling company to pick up the trash.I tried to keep this review short but it is hard because everything just went wrong. They never provided us with receipts for the materials. My daughter asked Peter to show us receipts and line costs of the change order contract but all he gave was an excel spreadsheet that took him two tries to add up to the total contract amount of 52K (24K for replacement roof and $28K for plywood replacement). This shows that they were making up numbers to justify the contract cost.They are very dishonest. We asked for George’s last name or a business card so that my son could verify his credentials on LinkedIn and the CSLB, but he lied to us three times. FYI, every time you work with a contractor all their licensing information and people associated with them are available in the CSLB website. When George finally gave his last name it didn’t match what was displayed in the CSLB website. I don’t understand why he thought it was necessary to lie to paying customers. Just a reminder to use the CSLB website as a guide to protect you from contractors like Newhaus.I’m hoping this won’t happen to other homeowners. I will to continue paying the $52K loan I took out from the bank for the next 10 years. I just can’t believe this happened to us, I thought contractors would be much nicer to senior citizens but that is not the case, they took full advantage of us. Just a reminder to use the CSLB website as a guide to protect you from contractors like Newhaus.

I usually don’t write reviews but since they treated my house as their own I feel that that’s the least what I can do. What I liked the most was that when I had problems with my Air conditioning and it needed immediate repairs they didn’t leave me alone in the middle of the project and actually helped out of charge.

This company doesn’t value their customers. Instead they like to take advantage and over charge! They contradict on what it states on the contract and double charge! Sunny and Peter are very disrespectful to my dad whose an elderly man living by himself. They are taking advantage of him. We talked to the owner and did not resolve the problem we’re having with this company.

Do not trust their reviews. They are all fake with googled photos. They are a dishonest company. Think twice before hiring them.

Jack has been extremely pleasant, kind, and straight forward. Work was done on our roof within two days, and the roofers who came out were also kind and seemed knowledgable. Today we did a water test, and there is no leaking (complete patio redo and torch down where the patio meets the back of the house). Communication with this company has been fluid, constant, and appreciated, since we have dealt with corporations and sole contractors that were not. Thank you, Newhaus, Jack, and Andy - we appreciate doing business with you.

The quality of there work is horrible they said they fix the roof from water from the roof is still coming through the roof we telling its from the same spot but these people wont even come out and look and come with someone who can speak English dont use this company you will be going through hell like we are from this company it was an horrible experience with them

As a consumer I depend on reviews which is why I take reviewing a company seriously. Today I got an estimate for replacement of a few shingles...$5300! I told them they were out of their mind but they said their minimum repair is 100 sq ft. Even for that they are over priced but we are talking about a few missing shingles on a roof still in good condition. They called back and offered their best price of $2500. Friends beware and get a few estimates before you get work done, unless you have this kind of extra money laying around.

Andrew and Domnick provided excellent service throughout the entire process. Kept me in the loop with constant communication! They even provided video updates to me in Virginia. They provided expert details about the roof that I wasn’t aware. These guys are great people and now good friends!

We paid over $40,000.00 to Neuhaus for a new roof in 2023; 10 months later it started to leak, ruining new ceiling and insulation and causing high mold levels in my kitchen. Their response was to try and blame skylight which was not the source of the leak; and blame us for their improper installation of HVAC during the re-roofing. Their “warranty” work consisted of applying ugly black patches; and telling us we would have to pay $1300.00 to move HVAC so they could patch under it. They refused/delayed paying for water remediation in the house or repairs to the ceiling long enough to create mold.They refused to furnish the thirty (30) year warranty which was part of the contract or their General Liability policy.They will not negotiate in good faith and want a “gag”order. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEIR WEBSITE SAYS; THIS CUSTOMER IS “0” SATISFIED

I was about to leave to run some errands when I saw a gentleman at my neighbors house and I asked about their roofing services. The gentlemens name was Liam. I cant say enough nice things. He was kind, funny, professional and extremely knowledgeable in his companys services. He was extremely thorough and explained everything to a T. I am a renter of the property so my landlord was not interested in spending that kind of money to get the issues addressed but once I own my own home I would definitely call them for their services. They seem to know there stuff really well. Thank you Liam.

Construction and remodeling is an inherently stressful process but Allen made everything so easy for my family! He was super transparent with all costs and timelines, and communicated really well. Great work but shady in the business side. They gave me a lot of promises to close the deal then nickel and dimed me into thousands extra, including lies about the loan they got me into that cost me extra $$$$ with the loan company AFTER the roof was done.I wouldn’t hire them again or recommend them to my worst enemy. Buyer beware.

We hired NewHaus last month when we needed to redo the roof due to a Mickey Mouse job done by the previous owners. We had a great experience with everyone that worked with us. They took the time to sit down and explain everything to us. They were flexible (within limits) in regards to changes we requested to planned work. All in all very professional, quality work. My experience with Newhaus was incredible. I called Newhaus and quickly enough the appointment was set up. Meno came in and took care of everything. He was respectful, very knowledgeable, and funny. I had to change my entire tile roof, which was causing me a lot of anxiety. Meno did an inspection on the roof and in the attic and found out about mold that I did not even suspect about. I liked very much that Meno went over all of the options and seemed like he genuinely cared. Throughout the project, he was on the call and was ready to answer any questions. Also, Newhaus was flexible with the days and hours they would work on a roof, which is a HUGE PLUS for me, since I work remotely, and cannot have any noise during my working hours. The job was done extremely well, and I am very satisfied I went with this company instead of going with cheaper ones that would continuously cause me trouble due to negligence, cheap materials, and intention to pull out more money out of me (I had a negative experience like that in the past). Therefore, the cost is reasonable and is great for the quality of work and service that I got.

This company is a rip off. I signed contract to replace my roof 1100 sq. ft. For $20,000. After roof was removed, Meno, a very nice guy (salesman) brings George, his boss and most likely part owner, to my house and said i needed extensive additional repair work before they could finish my roof. They wouldnt leave until i had signed an additional contract for an additional $30,000. Never mind Im a 75 year old single woman living on social security. In my opinion George is a heartless, egotistical, he is so full of himself, he had to inform me about his education he received back in his country. George actually seemed to enjoy himself as he was literally ripping me out of my savings, he could care less.Be aware of this man, George. Hes originally from another country, hes educated and in my opinion hates Americans. He came to this country, which is owned by his relatives, to make the almighty dollar and seems to really enjoying ripping off people.I do not enjoy writing this negative review. Im doing so to warn people about this company, to be very careful before engaging them to do any work on your house or business.

Stay away from this contractor! Read all the 1-star reviews to find out why. This contractor may be capable of replacing your roof, but they would not take the ownership if they damaged something else along the way. I had to find out the hard way during the heavy storm events. They came out to check it out, but denied the responsibility! No one else has touched my roof before or after Newhaus replaced my roof! They don’t own up to the problem they created! I really regret picking this contractor!!

Workmanship is very good. Their staff Sam is friendly and professional.

The first guys tried to low ball the price but when we got the second quote, the price was adjusted, just still very reason, considering everything post Covid is higher. We signed with them because they were Corning tile provider. Then on inspection after the old tiles were removed, they want another $20k for replace of plywood. That was totally unexpected. Then they order the wrong tiles. I had to informed them went I inspected their work. It took 3x as longer as sold. Cleaning… there were nails left and the rain gutter guards were not replaced properly. Lastly, in the last big rain, the roof was washed and a lot of loose composite was washed down in my gutters. The should have down a full wash and clean up my gutter. Now the gutters are half filled with loose composite fracture. A lot of cleaning needed to be down. I’ll give them fair grade as doing the job but the coordination and clean up was bad. And instead of 50yr warranty by Corning, I only get 25yrs.

In a time where it is difficult to get supplies and contractors, let alone good quality, Newhaus delivered in all areas. They took care of the permit that was needed, and when it unexpectedly started to rain and the roof was exposed, they came out immediately on a holiday weekend and covered up all exposed areas. They did a quality job, had excellent communication, and cleaned up thoroughly when they finished. I cant say enough good things about them.

I did a review earlier about them and their professionalism and how they took care of the house and stuff but I had a problem with my cable and it was brought to my attention that the facia boards were rotted and when I talk to the sales rep initially my boyfriend was there when I talk to him and I asked them to take care of the facia boards he said that would be taken care of they would not install a new roof with rotted wood load and behold they sure the hell did now that I’ve asked about it they said it’s extra paid $15,500 for my roof and now the facia boards that are rotted our extra I’m not very happy right now
