Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Root Rooter was a easy, fast, convenient and all around great service. I filled out a form using their online portal last night and this morning DJ Bennett was sent to my house bright and early. DJ was a very nice and helpful guy. He was in and out of my house in less than an hour and I no longer have any plumbing issues. I would highly suggest this service to anyone with plumbing problems!

Joseph was amazing! He acted quickly and was incredibly helpful in resolving our issue with the water connection. Even with limited access, he efficiently turned on the city water so we could use it, tested everything thoroughly, and ensured the meter showed no flow after testing. We had our sewer back up into our shower on a Saturday night and had to call Roto-Rooter out on a Sunday. DJ was there in less than an hour, had to crawl into a tight space but got it cleared fast. We got a camera scheduled to investigate what my husband suspects may be roots infiltrating. The service was prompt and good. The technician was friendly and polite. However, the price charged me was very excessive for the work done and the time spent here. All he did to unclog my kitchen sink was close the drains on both sides of the sink then fill the right side with water then he opened the drain on the right side sink and let the water pressure break up the clog. It took about maybe 10 minutes of time to fix the problem. Then filled out the bill and told me it would be $176 and change. My plumbers charge for that is $49. The only reason I used to rooter is because I couldnt get ahold of my plumber and it was an emergency. When my plumber returned my call the next day and I told him about the problem he said he could have walked me through it over the phone without a charge but he would only have charged a $49 service call if had to come to the house. Therefore I will never use roto-rooter again because your prices are way out of line.J.A. Mazzeo

Ian was friendly and courteous. He fixed our clogged toilet/shower drain successfully and quickly. He tried the least costly methods first. After the drain was cleared we got a diagnostic camera view of our pipes for reassurance, which was a plus. Inevitably the camera revealed some chronic piping issues that were worrisome and will be costly to fix but its better to know now than be surprised with a flooded house.

I run an Airbnb, so getting a clogged shower fixed quick was essential! Dexter not only arrived fast, but fixed the in minutes. Could not be happier with the service I got today!!

No one ever enjoys having a plumbing emergency. I found myself in a jam, rounding 9 o’clock at night, and my landlord’s emergency number was useless. Needing to solve the problem of my kitchen sink backed up with icky brown sludge with the levels steady rising, I needed a plumber asap. Ian showed up quickly, worked efficiently, and was pretty funny too. He made sure i understood what was happening and why. Very much appreciated.

They wanted to charge me $500 to clear my drain, and when I said that was too much, they changed to $200 but with no 6 month guarantee! That is a ridiculous price drop. I did it and the job was well done, but that seems obvious that they are overcharging people who dont question it.

The service was great! Our technician was amazing and went above and beyond to help us out.Only down fall was the time gap that we were given. A 2 hour gap, normal but right when it was about to strike at that second hour and we were gonna cancel, the tech showed up. Not the end of the world, so he still deserves 4 stars

Very prompt, professional, and friendly service! They fixed my issue within 30 minutes and had my dishwasher back up and running after a major clog. I would hire them again no question. Matthew was my technician and he was really wonderful to work with.

I have to give a huge shout out to Clarissa and Ian. I suddenly had a rather urgent situation that needed immediate attention when I realized someone had put some foreign substance down a sink that doubles as the drain for a large building’s air conditioner condensation runoff pipe. We soon realized that the “mystery substance” was actually concrete (don’t even ask 🤦‍♂️) and tirelessly working side by side, these two were able to get the concrete filled drain moving again! We narrowly avoided an overflowing sink and the massive amounts of water damage that undoubtedly would have accompanied it. To top it all off, they even hooked me up with a coupon to help cut the final costs down. All of these things easily add up to a 5 star service but, when you factor in just how cool, helpful, and personable they both are, they easily deserve 6 stars…if only that was an option! Thanks again you two!!

Oh my goodness! Ian was Godsend!! We have had plumbing issues for 13 years because of the placement of our unit in our building. Plummers usually just snake out our sink & call it a day. Ian is by far the best Plummer we have ever had!! I called on a weekend morning and they arrived within a few hours. Noah helped reset our earthquake shutoff valve and checked to make sure all appliances were up and running again. He was lovely to work with and his help was much appreciated.

Noah today and his team are top quality professionals with a good work ethic. We had water backup from a toilet and Noah invested 3 hours to diagnose the main problem with the overflow. Unfortunately, the landlords did not approve the repairs to be completed. However, Noah acted professional and explained to the landlords the cause of the issue and different approaches she would need to take to repair it. Once Noah packed up his gear with the team, he gave me some notes on the diagnosis so once someone does come. They would be able to fix the issue, I could not think of a better way for an individual to show great moral character. In the future, I would reccomend Noah and this company for outstanding customer service and their team of Top performers to my friends and family.

This is my second time using Roto-rooter and I am quite satisfied with their work. They have been reliable, quick to respond and the technicians Ive had are very professional, good at what they do and seem like good people. My recent tech, Ian, was so helpful in fixing the issues in my kitchen and bathroom. He was transparent and communicative, clearly explaining and showing me what the issues were, fixing them and advising on different steps on how I can avoid issues in the future. He was also very courteous in making sure the areas were neat and squeaky clean after the repairs. I would definitely go with Roto-rooter again and would request Ian as the service tech.

Had a clog in the drain line that wasnt clearing with the usual remedies. Was able to schedule these guys the night before and they arrived first thing in the morning (not too early), and after a bit of time trying to find the clog they cleared it pretty much immediately. Took them about an hour in total but the job itself maybe took them 30-45 minutes, so they know what theyre doing. Call these guys if youre in a pinch and nothing else is working.

Today I had service done from RoterRooter by Dwane (DJ). I can not express enough on the professionalism, and the knowledge he has for his craft. He never rushed the job and also explains the issue. I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of. I will always only want him to come out to the house if there’s is an issue. The one time some other person from roter rooter came out and it was a nightmare!!!!!!Dwane is such an asset to your company. I will only work with him. He’s definitely someone you can trust.

The cleanout access point was used to clean the drain behind the garbage disposal and kitchen sink. The procedure went well and the drain is now clear. All backup water in the double sink went down swiftly.

Bath/Shower drain was plugged up. The technician did a great job clearing the drain after multiple attempts drain finally cleared. I would recommend Mason to anyone needing plumbing services .

Our kitchen sink started backing up just as we were preparing dinner.Our regular plumber was not available so we called Roto-Rooter.Their dispatcher would not give us an estimate over the phone.When the technician arrived an hour later, he gave us an estimate of $497 without even looking at the problem. He then offered a discount of $100.We were desperate to resolve the problem rather than start shopping for another company so we reluctantly agreed to the $397 price and the technician took care of the problem in about half an hour.I think Roto-Rooter practices are unscrupulous when they are unable to give you a reasonable estimate before sending out an associate. I also believe that charging nearly $400 for a routine service call is a form of extorsion.I will not use Roto-Rooter again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

DJ and Ramiro were amazing. We had our outside water spigot break off completely, and they came within an hour of calling (on a Sunday!) to assess and repair, and were able to save the piping, saving us over a thousand dollars and fixing the issue. Recommend.
