I hired Mr Handyman to fix a kitchen drawer. Just one. The technician was friendly enough but charged a LUDICROUS amount for the service that was rendered. At the time, it was early and I wasn’t thinking. All he did was attach a thin, no thicker than 2” piece of wood, to the underside of the drawer. Proceeds to charge me $425 for the work!!! Mind you, I checked what time he arrived and what time he left… LESS than 30min!! I also happen to see the itemized receipt and only $30 was for supplies (aka a tiny piece of wood that I KNOW does not cost $30), but how does that validate almost $400 worth of “labor” for less than 30 min worth of work?!?!? That is LITERALLY the cost of hiring an attorney, hell, more in some cases because it was only a half hour of work. These guys are scam artists. DO NOT RECOMMEND .

Mr. Handyman did repairs in our house three times in last several months and every time they did a great job. They are always professional, respectful and they clean after the job is completed. Thank you, its a pleasure working with you.

After having a no-show last week, we rescheduled this job for today. The handyman was on-time (even a little early) today and delivered me an estimate that was very high for the job requested.I could have said no and paid $85 for nothing... but, I decided to bite the bullet (figuring that after paying Mr. Handyman $85 and someone else what the job was actually worth, I was probably in the range of saving < $100).The job was to lower a TV mount and Soundbar AND hide the wires. Once the TV and Soundbar mounts were lowered, the handyman said OK... Lets mount the TV. I had to remind him that we still needed to complete the job of hiding the wires... which he did... but, seemed surprised that we needed to. Before hiding the wires, hed been on the job for about 45 minutes.I would have never agreed to pay $500 for only moving the TV mount and soundbar...The gentleman was genuinely a nice person and did a great job after some prompting about what done meant for this job.On his way out (for grins), I asked him how much it would cost to install a new dishwasher... $600 😂I wont be using them again...

James was extremely professional and explained all repair options and their associated costs. I went with the least expensive and am very happy with the results. Handyman is an excellent organization for any repairs and upgrades for your house.

We gave him a long list of tasks; assemble two different pieces of furniture, hang a metal sculpture on the wall, hang a window shade, hang a shelf, hang a guitar on the wall, and more! John was very professional, knowledgeable and skilled. He fixed a rotted out area under our sink caused by a skow leak. He was speedy and thorough with the repair. All interactions with Mr. Handyman were smooth and professional. I had an estimate for the repair within an hour of the estimate and they sent someone to repair the issue in less than a week. SCAM!!!! Dont waste your money or time!! The guy who showed at my home did not have any convincing repair skills. The professional Ali showed up for $85 and BS the customer as to what is required to fix a problem. Instead of being prepared to start work to fix my door, he asks for the $85 before he can even assess the issue. My door needed to be realigned for better closing. Instead of shimming the hinges, attempting to adjust the door, he was clueless of any potential fix but spent time trying to convince me that the problem was serious, and related to weather stripping when was apparent the door was not properly aligned, stating I WOULD NEED TO PAY FOR HIS TIME FOR A STORE TRIP -all supplies should have been on his truck since the job called for repair of door. Then he states he will go back to the shop and work on an estimate. So many things wrong with this encounter. Dont make my mistake!

Ali was amazing; did electrical work that involved removing a chandelier and installing a ceiling fan with lights, reinstalling the chandelier in another spot, changing a light and then some general contractor type of things like fixing drawers in a vanity. Very knowledgeable and very technically savvy.

The work gets done well, and if theres an issue Ive got someone to call and talk about it. And I can get plumbing, electrical, and other household needs all done in the same appointment. Its a little pricey, but I get peace of mind for that cost.

Ive used Mr. Handyman services for many years for jobs as big as building an outdoor deck in my backyard and jobs as small as fixing a leaky toilet. You get what you pay for. Im a busy professional and I dont have time to deal online handymen who send out $40/hr handyman who dont know what theyre doing or independent handymen who never answer their cell phones and flake out on appointment times - or worse, give you a four hour window to wait around for them to show up. I like having a service manager take my phone call, have my history recorded in the computer system and having the option to schedule the first appointment of the day and knowing exactly when they will arrive. Im a big fan of Gil and James, they are real pros and I always ask for them if theyre available.

I am all about good customer service and you will get that with Mr. Handyman. All business’s should learn how to treat their customers the way Mr. Handyman does. They did a great job on the work I had them do and was responsive and ready to help with questions or concerns. Thank you again and we will definitely be calling you again soon!

I called Mr. Handyman to install a built-in microwave. Most of the companies I called only provided repair service, not installation. I called on a Friday and was scheduled for Monday. They provided text reminders prior to the appointment. My technician. Jason Rothschild was prompt, and very knowledgeable. I didnt have all of the material needed for the installation, so he told me what to get, and then I rescheduled for the following morning. Again, he was prompt, and finished the job within a half hour. Great experience - Definitely 5 stars!!

I needed a very old pet door removed. It was situated within a sliding glass door setup. Mr. Handyman sent the right person to do it - Mr. Brian Weintraub. I knew it was a difficult task and had to be done very carefully. I am happy with the result.

Called Mr Handyman for estimates of 2 projects - electronic exterior gate not working and installing camera doorbell.The person sent out for the estimate is the same person who will work on the job. Augustine was professional. He examined my gate problem and let me know the issue wasnt the battery as I thought it was. Instead it was the circuitry I appreciated him telling me he was unable to fix that problem. He did install my doorbell. Á he was leaving, my friend called him back and asked for an adjustment to the doorbell cameras. Augustine obliged. I appreciated him unpacking his tools to make the adjustment.Everything turned out fine, but I l deducted 1 Star for being 3 hours late. I dont mind lateness. I did expect the company HQ to call out text me their person was running late.Overall I would recommend Mr Handyman.

Jason was our technician and he was professional, courteous, extremely helpful in offering solutions, and did all the work, except installing a couple of light fixtures which Jason could have done, but Mr. Handyman sent another technician to help, as we had many small jobs that needed some time to do. A couple of things couldnt be done the first day,, so Jason had to return. I called Mr Handyman to see when Jason could return and I had a couple of small issues with the work he had done on the first visit. Jason returned finished all of the work and fixed the minor things I had concerns about. Everything was done to my satisfaction. We are very pleased with Mr Handyman from the customer service folks on the phone to the service request person Elizabeth. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Outstanding customer service! Our jobs were small in scope and variety, but Jason handled everything from minor wood repair to electrical work. We will definitely use Mr Handyman again and we would highly recommend them for any and all home repairs and maintenance needs.

Fantastic company! Excellent customer service, efficient process. I was beyond happy yesterday when my to do list over the last year was taken care of in one day with Mr. Handyman. Caulking in both bathrooms, new pole for drapes, new exhaust fan, toilet fixed. Couldn’t believe one company did it all. So brilliant. My tech Jason was experienced and kind and with my newborn around great with safety protocols during these times!

Totally pro, from the response via Yelp through the handyman finishing up the work. I used them to install a vanity and replace four hardwired ceiling lamps. Angelo had everything he needed in his truck already; he handled the job efficiently and professionally, cleaned up after himself, and responded to requests immediately.The service was expensive, twice as much as some other quotes. But you’re paying for licensed, experienced and guaranteed workmanship. Very happy with the results.

We have had rain water leakage into our recessed 2nd story bedroom. They found cracks in the stucco that I never saw before, and poor sealing around the windows. They dug into the stucco all around the large window frames, infused sealant deep into the joints, and restuccod and repainted what they had removed. Very nice pro work.

A couple hiccups in scheduling, but once work was done it was done well

Im not happy at all and I feel like I was also scammed out of $85. They quoted me $7k (more than it cost to copper pipe my entire house) to patch a few holes and replace tiles in a bathroom, and that didnt include purchasing a tub which they would charge more for their time at the store. How the heck can a few patch holes and re tiling cost more than a whole copper repipe? $1500 alone just to patch a few 2x2 stucco holes, a 2x5 drywall hole, and one drywall 8x6 hole. Its clear this is just a way for them to get $85 from people with almost zero work by over estimating on every job, or jobs they simply dont want to do. BEWARE

Worth every penny. Used them 8 months ago when my refrigerator stopped cooling and I was heading out of town the next day. The had someone there in 4-5 hours - and they managed to save it. Last week, I needed microwave & wall AC installed and help replacing/focusing track lighting on 18 foot ceilings. Great work. And as they charge on an hourly basis, I had prepared as much as I could (unpacked units, moved furniture, willing to do nearly all clean up myself - although that is apparently a routine part of their service), it helped reduce the time significantly.Then just called today as I needed an electrician for two small home projects: they cover that and could have someone here later this afternoon! Rarely find that response time. I’ll only need to use them for nearly all projects in the future.

Helped fix our front door that wasnt weathered or closed properly. We had a locksmith come previously and they messed it up badly. The Handymen came, on time, and handled everything professionally and efficiently. Gave me the quote of service before starting work and even was able to give me tips on how to fix other parts of the house.Will 100% use them again... John Fike was our handyman and he was excellent.

Eloy helped repair some broken sprinklers and replaced a screen, he also took a look at a sink drain stoppage and when it was revealed that it was something to be done under the home warranty, he made sure to let us know exactly what needed to be done so that we could articulate to the other plumber and get the job done right. Eloy was pleasant, informative, and alerted us to some things needing future repairs. Everything looked great after he was done!

Great Experience. These guys are very professional, on time and clean (which is very important). Right away I knew I was going to have a great experience from my conversation with the office. They listened to what I had to say, made me feel comfortable and sure enough, the tech showed up and made me feel at ease. He was able to fix my electrical issue, plumbing issue and even helped me with some creaky cabinets that were driving me crazy. Will be using this company as my go to team.

Over-priced ripoff. I would not recommend these folks for anything. Charged $385 for a simple shower valve replacement. Avoid!

We had several small electrical issues ... lamps, light fixtures, timers, etc. Reasonably priced, technician knew his stuff.

This is the second or third time that I have used Mr. Handyman. They are very friendly and they get the job done. If there is any debris, they clean up and are very professional. They do follow-up calls to see if you are satisfied. I am very pleased with them.

Mr Finke was exceptional. He arrived ontime. he assessed the problem, provided a reasonable estimate and then did the work. We are very happy with the work that was done. I will request Mr. Finke, for future work.
