General installation was recommended to me by a plumber from a different company. The repair person was at our home in the specified time and was very diligent in his diagnosis. He was knowledgeable, and efficient. He advised us on other upgrades that we should consider, but did not push us at all.GREAT JOB!Carl

This place is a joke and a total ripoff! Pay a local plumber that can actually honor their work beyond a single month and that actually does “customer service”! Unreal

We received their contact as an authorized Rheem service provider for our water heater and we called them to have the faulty gas valve replaced. We called mid August 2023 and they came to replace the gas valve. After about 50 days, mid October, the water heater signaled again a faulty gas valve and we called them to get it checked. They came back and charged us again for the diagnostic and 199$ to change the faulty gas valve. The part was under warranty but their job wasn’t, since it was over their 30 days threshold.Mid November, after 39 days from their last visit, the water heater indicated again, for the 3rd time, a faulty gas valve. When I called them I was told they would have charged for the 3rd time the full tariff to come check the water heater since it was after 30 days. They claimed “it’s not their problem” since they “didn’t make the water heater” so I wander why Rheem recommends them as an authorized service provider and if they checked the water heather at all when they came here before.Avoid this company. They do not stand behind their (poor) work and try to keep charging customers extra fees.

They came out to replace the gas valve control on our water heater as per recommendation from the manufacturer, Rheem. A few weeks later, it went out again. I called again, and they again got on the phone with Rheem. They recommended again replacing the gas valve control and also a tank sensor. When the parts arrived, they came out again to replace the parts. We have been good ever since. The 2nd visit was N/C since it was under the 30 day labor warranty. Quick, no nonsense service

My wife & I were very pleasantly surprised by their Nordstrom type service on a repair. Tyler took the time to inform us that the repair may be covered under recall so theres no charge to our family. We got a text w the technicians photo so we knew who was coming w the ETA. First class gents - a rare rose amongst many thorns. Were looking forward to bringing them back!

Great service. Timely arrival, quick appointment time for an emergency visit. Very professional and friendly employees. Only downside is they dont work with tankless water heaters, hope they can add them soon.

Took off work 3 times total for this company to send someone one time to work. Contracted through property management company.1st day: No call, no show. Called office, and was apologized to. Person on phone said it was their fault and they would send someone the next day.2nd day: Technician showed up to test water heater. Asked me (tenant) to sign paperwork stating I would pay the service fee before starting work. I stated it was my property management companys responsibility to cover the costs. He hesitated, I called my plumber, who set up the appointment, to confirm with General Installations tech that work could begin. My understanding was that was confirmed, but I was asked to sign for liability again after the call. I declined.Their technician called his company, and then told me that he couldnt start work without me signing for a service fee.I called my plumber again and he said he would be on his way. I relayed this to General Installations technician, but he got in his car and drove away, saying he would be somewhere else.Incredibly unprofessional to leave within 10 minutes of a call that was supposed to happen the day before.3rd day: After my plumber spoke with them again, they finally sent someone out who tested my water heater. He was courteous and professional.A very unpleasant and unprofessional company to deal with. I missed three days of work to do what should have taken one day. I would not use them again, and I dont recommend anyone else does either.
