We called Good News plumbing out at 11pm for a sudden burst pipe in the outside built in BBQ. They arrived within the hour and took time to diagnose the issue properly and suggest a plan of action. They stayed until 2am to be sure the temporary fix they did was successful, then returned promptly the next day as promised and took care of the whole thing.This was a tricky repair with the water valve hidden behind a wall due to the poor planning of the builders who installed it. They not only fixed and repaired the problem pipe but re routed it so should anything happen in the future switching off the water would be so my easier for us to do. So impressed! The next time we have a plumbing issue I’m calling this company first, no question. Thank you Alex for your great work and pleasant demeanor. You saved the day…and the middle of the night!

He kept his work area clean, and always checked in with me before proceeding with the work and after to show the completion. We have used this plumbing service several times before and have had them work at my parent’s house, who have also had a good experience with them. We were redirected to a local plumber due to issues with a shower leak in our spare bathroom. We found Good News and saw they had very good ratings. Ronnie and Alex at Good News plumbing were very knowledgeable and responsive to all our questions throughout the process. Ronnie kept us in the loop whether it was about issues while working on the leak or possible delay in ordering parts and even showed us what he was working on. He was very respectful of our home and made sure that he kept other areas of the bathroom protected. He also provided a demonstration on the repair and allowed us to inspect his work. Very professional, thorough, and prompt! By the way, I really appreciate that Alex sent a picture of Ronnie while he was en route to our home so I know WHO to expect at my door. I think this is a big plus on safety, especially for anyone who may be living alone.

The service was fast and the technician was great. However the price was absolutely offensive. $360 for 2 small valves and 15 minutes of work. I debated putting this review up but after talking with a contractor he thinks we we’re taking advantage of. I will not be using or recommending Good News plumbing.

I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink at 4pm and called Good News Plumbing immediately They came right away and discovered I needed a new faucet. He turned off the water to that sink, went and purchased a new faucet and came early the next morning. The guys were very friendly and polite and I will definitely call them again when needed.

So Iturned off the water to the house and called 3plumbers who either did not pick up or could notcome till tomorrow. These guys are good! I had a frustrating experience with my American Home Shield and I have always been assigned with contractors to work on my appliances and issues and theyd end up doing a lousy job, from poorly rated companies, and leave me with a long wait time even for small fixes. So last Thanksgiving week I had a dishwasher issue and that stretched til just this week. I gave up my AHS and decided to call on a local business with highly rated plumbers. After some serious research I contacted Good News Plumbing. I told myself Im only gonna hear GOOD NEWS from plumbers from now on. Alex answered the phone and sure enough I got a swift first thing next-day appointment. Ronnie knocked on my door the following day. Him and Benny were good mannered and never condescending. Ronnie explained the different options to address my problem but he also wanted me to know that he wont be comfortable leaving a job he wont be comfortable accomplishing after either. So we agreed on a solution to replace my hot water fixtures in the sink, and also pickup from store and install my new dishwasher and take out the old one too. He took his time doing his estimates and we agreed at a fair price. Soon enough Lupe and Ricardo stopped by to check in. No job is too small or big for these guys. My only concern is they may get too busy after all the good reviews lol jk. I am glad I found my go-to plumbers now for big and small house fixes. I can also keep my money I used to pay American Home Shield for monthly and service fees, while helping my local Glendora business too! Win! God bless you guys!🙏👍

I had a funeral to attend the morning of our clogged shower drain. We have one bathroom! I called and they were there within a couple of hours. Thats priceless! It was completely fixed, with a guarantee aaaaand Ronnie helped my 85 year old mom move a hose that she wanted to move to water her plants and trees. Such a nice guy! I felt like he was a long time friend. I will definitely recommend them and use them again!

My plumbing had backed up several times and the landlord was only partially clearing the drain. Alex came in the first time and cleared it as best as he could but he also took a video showing us the drain was 50% clogged by roots in several areas. I left out that this was the day before Mothers Day when I was expecting 20 family members to come celebrate the day. I couldn’t find any plumber in my area to come out within a few hours. All other plumbers said they couldn’t come till Monday, I was desperate. Alex came to our rescue!! The next time they came out to my home, the guys were amazing! Ive used this company multiple times. I have zero problems with all the work they do for me. The home Im in is from 1951 and all original so I have had good news out about 4 times in the past 2 years. All work still in good working condition. The issue was a four way copper manifold which was leaking in two places. The repair required several new joints and pipe work to be soldered in place. The leaks are fixed, the workmanship is very good and the results look great.

Great company with fast service! We called when a pipe began leaking and the valve to shut off was coroded and broke. They came out quickly, stopped the problem and then brought the kitchen piping up to code (old home) quickly and efficiently. They explained everything, gave options, and were happy to answer questions.

Had a great experience with Good News Plumbing and Drain. After grading my front yard(with a different business), the main gas line was exposed and had a small leak due to being old and corroded. I called up Good News, and they came out the same day and gave me a quote. The morning of when the work was supposed to begin it started to rain, but Alex and his crew still showed up with canopies to do the job! By the end of the day, all the work was done and it had looked like no one had disturbed my beautiful front yard that is full of succulents/cacti and rock work. They did a great job and would highly recommend them.

Ive used Good News Plumbing twice now. They are always on time and I feel are honest and straight shooters when it comes to what needs to be done.This time my dads water heater broke and leaked about8inches of water in the 5x10 basement. They got to the house around 4pm and got all the water out and replaced the water heater. They were finished around 10pm. It was reported this morning that the house has hot water this morning. I did think that it was expensive but they did a good job and were there when I needed them. They are my choice for plumbing needs at my dads place.

So my water bill came and it damn near floored me. I called my Gardner to fix a few sprinklers to eliminate that first and the meter was still spinning.I call another plumber but they wouldn’t be out until Monday. I called “Good News Plumming” because I did business with them before but forgot about calling first, they were available sooner. Alex came out, confirmed the toilet leaked, wasn’t gonna need the whole camera thing after all. Parts were NOT that easily available, but he knew a guy.Alex came back with the parts, checked the pressure and the meter and walla, GOOD NEWS, that was it, All better. Our water heater made a loud frightening noise on a Friday night so we cut off the gas and called Good News Plumbing on a Saturday morning. To our surprise Alex arrived at 11 am as promised and informed us that the water heater was over ten years old , out of production and out of code. We agreed to replacing it at a reasonable cost.The service was outstanding! Alex left and returned with the water heater and spent the rest of the day bringing the space up to code and installing the new water heater.The price was good, there were on time, friendly, trustworthy and the service was the best. We recommend Good News Plumbing to everyone and will be using them again and again.

Our house was built in 1953 and the pipes were starting to rust through. Unbeknownst to us a pool of muck had begun to form beneath one of the drains in the crawl space. To make a long story short Good News Plumbers found several leaks, repaired them, and replaced the drains that were 70 years old and on their last legs. GNP were fast, thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. If your house was built in the previous century, I’d suggest you call them before the leaks occur. Or, if it’s already happened, I’m confident in recommending them to get right to solving your problem. Two thumbs up.

We had a gas leak. Ronnie came out on time like they said they would. Gave me an estimate. Fixed the gas leak near the water tank on the same day.Replaced old fixture and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely use and recommend them. Very pleased with his work.

I have two little boys and one of them clogged the toilet. Things went from bad to worse when I tried to plunge it myself and it backed up into my shower. After calling another local plumber, who said they couldn’t come out until the next day, I called Good News Plumbing & Drain. The guy I spoke to said he could have someone out within the hour. 15 minutes later, they were at my door, quickly diagnosed the problem as being my main line and went to work. Alex ended up having to snake my main line and was very thorough in making sure it was fixed before he left. I was VERY happy with the response time, service, efficiency and the price. Alex is great! Our tankless water heater filter bursted at 5pm. I called a different company, but no one picked up. So I called Good News Plumbing. Alex picked up right away, and said that hell be there first thing in the morning. He also reminded me to turn off the gas, not just the water. I would not have thought to turn off the gas too. He showed up bright and early the next day and was done within a few short hours. Thanks again Alex!

When I found that the water meter box outside the house was leaking, I felt very worried and frustrated. Because I encountered this kind of problem for the first time, I called the Glendora City Service first, and they came to check and said that the meter was okay. It might be a public lawn area watering system. I have to report the problem to the HOA, but the HOA believes that I am responsible for it, and my friend thinks it may be a major repair project.Thank God, someone recommended this Good News Plumbing. This Saturday, the Good News owner Alex personally came to check the leaks on time. Under the sun, he sweated like rain, knelt on the dirt, drained the water, and carefully checked each part of the system. Finally, he told me the GOOD NEWS: the system from the water meter to my home is as good as ever. The problem is that the sprinkler system in the public area is leaking, and it flows to the water meter box.For this he wrote a detailed report and asked me to submit it to the HOA. He is a real expert, like a doctor in a hospital examining a patient to find the problem. He only charged a very reasonable fee. I accepted the help of Good News today, and I am willing to recommend this Good News Plumbing to everyone. Thank GOOD NEWS again!
