I was exceedingly pleased with Victor, our service technician. He was extremely informative regarding the repair process and he very patiently and comprehensively explained all service options. He performed an excellent repair in a very short amount of time - and JW Heating and Air offered a very fair price for the service. (I had 4 other companies look at my HVAC unit and all immediately came to the conclusion to replace the entire unit - approx. a $7000 job. Victor provided a repair option that other companies didnt even suggest!) ... I highly recommend JW Heating and Air.In addition, I used JW Heating and Air about 9 months later for a leaky drain pan and again was immensely pleased with their prompt and competent service. Victor once again was my service technician and he did an excellent job!

I had about five estimates for a new a/c in my boutique before Ted came and saved the day. Some estimates were too high, and some guys said they couldnt do it at all (because it wasnt a typical, run-of-the-mill installation, and they didnt want to deal with it). Ted immediately had a great solution, was completely thorough with what he needed to do, and best of all, the estimate was way lower than everyone else. I was blown away. They set everything up right away, and were able to make it happen quickly. The team who installed it, Ismael, Ramon, and Felipe, were great. They came on time, they worked quickly, and went out of their way to hide the piping that was initially going to have to be exposed (even though they didnt have to). They were very professional, courteous, and in-tune with my needs. Also, when they were done, they cleaned up so well that I couldnt even tell they had been there! Usually I have to spend hours cleaning up dust and dirt after something like that. Im so happy I found them. Thank you JW.

We found JW Heating and Air on Angies List, reviews were good, and we needed a 3rd HVAC quote for my elderly Aunts home. The Customer Service Rep who answered the phone was awesome, and had us scheduled the very next morning at 9am. The JW Quote was not the cheapest, but we decided to go with them solely because of the Sales Rep, Jeff. He was extremely knowledgeable, forthright and didnt try to up-sell us at all. He was also very kind and patient with my Aunt, even when she needed clarification on some of the information he proposed. This is so important when dealing with Seniors, and we really appreciated his sincerity -- you cant fake that sort of thing. Havent met the install team yet, but can confidently recommend Jeff Payne from JW Heating & Air. Oh, I almost forgot, of the 3 quotes we got, JW had the best financing option, which was a huge consideration for us. Thank you, Jeff!

I’m still waiting on the details of my quote, but I can already tell that this is one company that really takes customer service seriously. First of all, they actually showed up on time. Not an hour early, not 2 hours late, but right on time, at 10:30am. And that was really important because that’s when my toddler goes down for a nap, so I could give the tech, Jeff Payne, my full attention.Without me having to request it, and knowing the nap time situation, Jeff thoughtfully knocked on the door instead of ringing the doorbell. That’s showing some real consideration and was very grateful.What followed was a very thorough walkthrough of the house, and discussion of options. I’ve put a lot of thought and research into this project before requesting quotes and I had a pretty good idea of what I needed, but Jeff contributed a lot of great ideas and I could tell he had a good mind for system design and really knew his stuff.This is going to be a pretty complex and tricky install since we are retrofitting an 80 year old house. We may even have to do it in stages to afford it, but I’m confident that they will do a great job if we end up hiring them. If so, I will be sure to update my review.

Outstanding work installing a new AC system for my house by Ismael, Ramon, and Felipe of JW Heating and Air. When they ran into issues installing duct work in the attic, they solved the problem quickly and finished the job within the time frame quoted. Super clean and professional. They brought their own soap and hand towels for the bathroom and wore booties in the house...then swept up after every day! Highly recommend.

JW has the best trained service techs of any company Ive dealt with. They are consistently polite, thorough, and neat. They take the time to answer questions, make sure youre satisfied with the systems and service, and clean up after themselves. They stick to their schedule and always call if theres a problem. I strongly recommend JW.

JW Heating and Air is a wonderful organization and their technician Marco is excellent! They keep you updated throughout the process and explain everything in great detail. I couldn’t be happier with Marco’s work and how respectful he was of our home, even putting cloth booties over his shoes when walking on our floors ... without us even asking. I highly recommend JW Heating and Air!

The office kept me well informed as to when my service man would arrive. He arrived exactly on time. He was pleasant and put covers on his shoes and did everything you possibly could to take care of my situation. I would recommend this company and this technician whose name is Christian, highly. I’m so happy that I learned who’s the best HVAC company in town.

6 stars if I could! I had a problem with my thermostat (wouldn’t turn on). Pro tip: Replace the 2 AA batteries that power said thermostat! In my (weak) defense, I thought it was hard wired.I called JW and thought I would have to wait a day or two for service. Nope, came over that very day and arrived exactly when I was told they would.Sal, our technician gave me a soft place to land regarding those batteries and then proceeded to make some changes to the piping that had made it difficult to access the heating unit that is wedged into a hallway closet. Even replaced my filter and then went over future service options.The most impressive part besides Sal’s professionalism and calm demeanor was the fact that this company took it upon themselves to safeguard not only their employee, but the homeowner as well during this health crisis. Sal was outfitted with a mask, gloves, shoe covers, and assured me he had disinfected all surfaces including his iPad. Would recommend JW Heating and Air in a heartbeat!

Good work, poor customer service. I chose JW because of the very high rating and solid reviews on Yelp and other sites, and also because of my interaction with the sales rep who came to provide an estimate (1 of 3 estimates I got). In the end, I am happy with the work that was done, and everyone who actually came to do work at my house was great -- polite, hard-working, not quite as clean as the other reviews implied but clean enough. My experience with the people in the office, however, was terrible. I missed work half a dozen times because of appointments that were never booked or had to be rescheduled. I went without heat for two weeks because they turned the gas off in anticipation of a city inspection that wasnt booked. Even after speaking with someone in the office about this, she did not send someone out to turn the heat back on while I waited for the rescheduled inspection. Someone from the accounting/finance department threatened to put on a lien on my house when I didnt want to pay in full because the system had failed the first HERS test. I relented and paid in full, and now Im regretting it. Overall, I am very disappointed and frustrated, and I would not recommend JW.

JW took care of us! They diagnosed the problem(s) and made everything work just right. The price was fair, the technicians were friendly and efficient (Dusty and Josh) and if I had questions, the office was happy to fill me in on details. Ill recommend JW to anyone who is having heating and air issues!

JW provided us with exceptionally professional work. We replaced (2) 4 ton HVAC systems in our house. They cleaned up the mess we had in the attic from the old systems, installed new access hatches to code, installed the new compressors outside, and fantastic new thermostats. They were clean, organized, on time, pleasant and did everything they said they would and more. These guys have it dialed in.

Michael was very professional and a really cool guy. The time it took for everything was very unnoticeable with. You get some people that makes the process time drag for ever but not with good times. He also checking in and making sure we were understanding and getting what we needed and wanted. Differently ask for him!!

Antonio was great. Incredibly thorough, friendly, knowledgable, and explained every detail to me every step of the way. Ill happily call him and JW again the next time i need work done on my AC.

I was able to get a next day appointment for an AC repair from Sal and he was great, worked fast, and had it up and running within an hour after the diagnostic. Would use again and highly recommend them!

Our technician Antonio was on time and professional!! He exhibited that he takes pride in his work and professionalism as a technician!! He was very thorough and explained everything in detail!! My wife and I feel confident that we will have no HVAC mechanical issues during the hot summer season with Antonio as our maintenance technician!! Our AC went down a few days ago and I December to call JW from the Yelp reviews. I already knew the unit was old and was concerned about the typical “up-sale” tactics. Sal was my service technician. He showed up with a friendly smile, tested the unit and identified certain component failures. The unit was fixed and tested in one visit. Yea! Awesome job Sal!

If I could give Gerardo six stars, I would. My brand new system stopped working for some odd reason. It took Gerardo 8 hrs. to find the problem and fix it! For a job like this it takes a tech with very high standards, qualification, and a lot of patience. Plus he loves his work and the JW heating🤩. Thank you Gerardo!

Generally speaking, I dont care for HVAC companies. My experiences have rarely been straight forward.Overall, JW got the job done. But once again I was left exhausted by an overcomplicated process.Any-who. My heating & air unit is fairly new and I do maintain it, but for whatever reason it doesnt blow hot air after long periods (summer mths) of non-use. I would normally call the company that installed system but they were fully booked, and theyve been bought out a couple times so my loyalty wasnt strong. I used opportunity to try JW.When I called to make the appointment they were friendly, attentive and eager to help given I was freezing. I got uneasy though when they hard sold me on purchasing the bi-yearly maintenance plan on that first call, before we had even settled on appointment details for my initial request, my heater isnt working. A little cart before the horse asking me to buy a service before providing me with any services. Thought it was weird but I fought off offer and appointment was made.Tech showed up on time, as scheduled, on appointment day. He was also friendly and attentive. He went under the house to check out system and within like 5 minutes hot air started to blow. Yay, problem solved. I yelled down were a go! What did you do? He yelled back I had to jumpstart the system. I didnt pretend to understand what that fully meant, knew hed explain more when he came back up. He came up after a bit and didnt start with explanation of work done, rather, he showed me phone pics taken of my ducts, pointing to areas of dirt to sell me on expensive duct cleaning services for 10 grand. I didnt see dirt in the photo, or rather, I didnt see any recognizable objects, I had no idea what I was looking at really. I paused that topic and asked what he fixed related to why he was there, my heater. He didnt offer a clear scope of work, he walked over to my thermostat, started futzing with it, pushing buttons, changing/setting up schedules, replacing batteries, concerned because nothing was working. I should replace thermostat he said. I walked over, asked what function he was trying to do, turned it on with no issue....Heat...auto...on. Its working, hear that? Ohhhh he said, yes it is, great. Then he told me about an out place ground wire he repositioned, asking me who originally installed the system as if to suggest greater issues awaiting.I asked for the total and he quoted $250. $100 fee for visit and $150 for work done. He asked if I thought that was fair. How could I know, I still dont know what he did as he never explained it, but I was happy to write the check to have it be over.He complicated the heck out of it. My guess, he went down the checklist of troubleshooting options and got lucky on option 1, reboot. Why didnt I think of that? He did make sure to re-offer the bi-yearly maintenance again, as that would offset current fee owed. Oh and an urgent request to schedule that 10k duct cleaning.Could have been worse, I dont think theyre scammers. He didnt hit me with a made up heat exchanger crack or anything, but Id like one of these experiences to be simple and easy.

Cary and Joe have helped us work through a very difficult configuration in our home. There are rooms that were getting very cold and others that weren’t getting cold at all before they came to make some adjustments. Now all the rooms in the house are comfortable thanks to their skillful work.

Leo the technician was great! It is a pleasure to have someone who actually knows what they are doing and what they are talking about. He was very thorough in his maintenance of the 5 A/Cs that he serviced.

Excellent service. Leo quickly found the problem and fixed it. Gave my system a quick check and made some recommendations which I did not proceed with at this time. Leo was professional and answer all of my questions. Great service from Leo and his company.

I was having a problem with a noise when the furnace started up. Dustin was a great guy who climbed up in the attic and found the issue - bearings were on their way out. He told me everything I needed to know and offered helpful suggestions for what to do. Thanks JW!

Michael came out to my residence to give me a consultation for installing central air into my house. He was very informative and helpful as well as able to answer all the questions I had. Would reccommend to anyone.

Sal was prompt and started to work right away diagnosed what the problems were and fixed all them all in one afternoon. Very happy with the work. A little expensive but thats part of quality maintenance !

HE Heating sent over a tech to give me a proposal for heating system replacement. While here the tech changed my filter and informed me of the status of my current system. He was very professional and curious. When I can I will replace my system and JW Heating will do the work.

This is a very customer oriented company, but you can tell that they treat their employees very well too. Everyone has a great attitude and are skilled in their jobs. JW originally installed a new heat/ac unit and fixed some substantial ductwork problems that came with our house. We continue to use them for annual maintenance and we couldn’t be happier with the product or services.We also used them over the years for some electrical issues and have been equally happy with those services.

Well, for starters, they were exactly on time this morning. My technician was genuinely a courteous and pleasant man, and professional. He took the time to look at all things pertaining to our unit. It was just a scheduled maintenance call..yet, he was diligent and made all necessary checks. I appreciate his care and concern, when he explained everything, he let me know what was a further course to maintain our new unit. They are polite and actually make follow up calls to ensure good service is provided. I would highly recommend you use their services.

I’ve been using JW Heating & Air for a few years now. Their technicians are fantastic. Angel did my service today. He was very knowledgeable, professional and explained everything he was doing. I have a service contract with them and they come out twice a year. Once for the heating and again for the A/C. My system runs great thanks to them, I highly recommended.

After our Nest thermostat mysteriously went dark on Saturday, we called JW Heating & Air. They had expertly installed our units over a decade ago, & we’d failed to keep up on the maintenance. It took 2 days to fit us in, but it was worth the wait! The awesome technician who came, Gerardo Tecorral, figured out everything that was wrong, gave me a super-reasonable quote, and cleaned & repaired both the furnace & the AC in one grand visit! He was funny, friendly, efficient, tidy(!), and explained everything very effectively. There is nothing better than a technician who enthusiastically communicates everything that’s going on and takes the time to show you everything. I pledged to keep up on our maintenance for the remaining life of our units, and I’m sure we’ll have eventual future units installed by JW Heating & Air as well. This is one of those service-oriented companies that is truly a valuable connection.

Update to my earlier review.The job entailed taking out my old heater and installing a new heater in the attic along side a new AC system.I also had new ducts installed..It is all finished and I could not be happier with the final results.Ted and his crew were polite,...professional and cleaned up before they left every day.All details were thoroughly explained and questions answered.Kudos to Ted for being available after hours for my questions or thoughts.Also to Kim for the same reasons and for working with the inspectors for my permits.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!RON

Someone promptly came to look over my existing system for an estimate and seemed very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. However, I never received a quote. I called 3 additional times over the course of a few weeks, and each time I was politely told someone would get in touch with me. Never happened, and I never got a quote.

I was scheduled for a maintenance check of my rooftop HVAC unit. Although JW was unable to keep the original appointment time, they kept me well informed and a technician was able to come perform the work. That technician was Gerardo Tecorral, who was very friendly, professional, and thorough. He explained all his findings (with pictures) and provided multiple options for correcting the problems he detected. I was very pleased with him.

We had a surprise in store for us when we found out that our furnace had kicked the bucket right before the new year. Obviously a stressful time, but compounded with some other construction work that was going on in our home.Jose showed up (on a rainy day) and immediately put on some cloth booties to make sure he wasnt bringing the dreary day inside with him. He also offered me a set for the other construction workers who never came prepared with anything remotely the same. Comparing the two crews that were in our house that same day is like comparing apples to concrete. The JW crew was everything the other construction crew was not.Both Jose and Ricky were professional and their expertise shown through. They gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and we felt we had a top notch team installing in our attic.At the end of the job, Jose took me into the attic and explained everything that they accomplished for the day and even explained the science behind the furnace and A/C unit. I feel like I understand how the HVAC unit actually works in the house now when I had very little understanding of it previously.We have been using JW Heating and Air for most of our HVAC needs and the only time we had an issue was when we rejected a service appointment (which we will never do again).
