Rooter Guard 24 Hour Plumbing & Drain Services

I recently had Rooter Guard Inc. replace approximately 20-25 feet of my main sewer line underneath my house, and I couldnt be happier with their work. They installed a two-way cleanout at the foundation using ABS plastic, and the job included all parts, labor, connections, excavation, sloping, strapping, and piping. Their team was professional, efficient, and thorough, ensuring everything was done to a high standard. The 15-year warranty gives me peace of mind, and their customer service was top-notch from start to finish. I highly recommend Rooter Guard Inc. for any plumbing needs!

They came right away, Eric was very nice and hard working. He discovered that his equipment was stuck and had to call the supervisor to come with a camera. Too much water to see with the camera. The next day the excavation began. Reinforcements were sent. Roots from the previously removed rubber tree were in the pipe leading from my property to the sewer. The next step was to line the old pipe with new pipe. 3 days and $12,300 later things seem to be working fine. Even with my discounts, my son is still insisting that I was ripped off. Who knows? They were very nice though. Glad that it is over.

I just had Rooter Guard out for the second time they were to my house with 30 minutes of my call and fixed my problem with 10 minutes. I will continue to contact them, for those need as they are very fair.Would definitely recommend

I had my shower backing up. Called rooter guard. They snaked the line,He climbed under the house and said I needed a partial re-pipe. $3,800 later, they left. Later that night, the line backed up again. Shocking, they came back and snaked all the way to the street, which they said they did. No back up, I did not need a partial repipe. Just the line snaked properly. 🙄

We had sewer backup problems. Rooter Guard was able to send Jonathan over within a couple hours. Jonathan was thorough, he did many tests and discovered we had tree roots and dirt in our sewer main lines. We decided to change all the sewer pipes as our house was built in 1931, Jonathan explained every step to us and kept the water cutoffs to minimum.

We had a clog in the sewer yesterday and called Rooter Guard based on Google reviews.Pros:Right from the time I called them, they were very polite and sent a technician right away. The tech was very professional and courteous and spent a lot of time in locating an outdoor clean out…Work done:When we couldn’t locate the clean out, the technician had to remove one of the toilets to get the snake In to clear the clog in the sewer lineHe informed me that the clog was too strong for the snake to penetrate it and offered a descaler as a very high priced option.Cons:When I flinched at the high price of the descaling service ($2250), I looked for a second opinion. As soon as the other plumber arrived, the technician said it was their policy not to be on the property while another plumber was on site. So he took $250 and left.All it required was a more powerful snake to cut through the clog and I saved $2000 by going for the second opinion….Rooter Guard may be good but they didn’t work out for me….

Harry and Gary did a very great job for me!I called Rooter Guard to come and do a home inspection for my new house. They really know how best to do their stuff. They pointed and discussed with me each problem they found. I called several other companies as well but none provided me with the same service Rooter Guard did. I called them back that same day and had them start work right away. We had our plumbing back up on Friday morning and called Rooter Guard plumbing company to send somebody over. He showed up at 4pm and immediately said that the only way the drain could be cleared was to go on the roof. He worked very quickly and was able to clear the problem in the house without any hassle. His price was fair and he was very pleasant. I definitely recommend Rooter Guard and the tech Eric.

Rooter Guard was very quick to schedule my bathtub drain unclogging... I did the best I could but the hair ran too deep down the drain pipe... but given what I learned I was able to explain the situation to technician Eddie Martinez who again came out very quickly ...listened to me closely ..assessed the situation.. and had the pipe open all in about 20 minutes... And he had to power rooter about 10 or 15 feet... thats how bad the clog was... Eddie is a skilled technician and a gentleman a real testament to how good Rooter Guard is and once more came to my house to clear a bad difficult clog ... I will continue to use Rooter Guard and let others know about them

These guys provide exceptional, quick, and quality work!! As a building manager, I am extremely happy to work with this company! They have done what other companys I have worked with in the past have been unable to accomplish. My tenants are also happy and satisfied with the work these guys have performed. I have recently contacted Rooter guard to send a helper over to install a gas valve and give an estimate on installing a new sink in the bathroom.To start with their customer service and ended with the guy that showed up, I am giving this company 5 stars. Everything works now and the estimate for the sink was reasonable, so I signed the invoices and paid for both jobs. Easy to communicate and prompt service.Thank you.

My neighbors plumbing job needed to dig on my side by peeling up my artificial turf. They convinced me to agreement by promising to restore it as if it never happened, in addition, they also convinced me to pay $500 because I also benefit from it, even though I hadnt had any plumbing issue before. However when the job was done, my turf was in no way the same as before as it became much bumpier and uneven, with clumps of sands on top. The reason being they only used hand tools to compact the dirt which is impossible to match the machine compacted done by my original landscaper. They also didnt use the tool to evenly distribute the sand on top. Worse still, they also broke my underground lighting wire so one of my backyard light stopped working. So basically I paid $500 for something I didnt need, ended up with my backyard looking worse and lighting broken.

Mike and his team were excellent workers. Super professional and very courteous during their stay with us. They figured out the issue and provided great options for long and short term plumbing fixes for old piping. Happy to have hired them and would most definitely recommend them!

Had an emergency on a Saturday morning. Called Rooter Guard (found them in a google search). They had someone out in 2 hours. They tried every option to address the problem over the next two days but ultimately had to replace the main line. Throughout they were clear and up front about the situation, about our options, and about the cost at every step. Sewer main line repairs are never cheap, but I felt throughout I was getting honest and reliable information and that the cost was entirely fair given the scope of the work they had to do and the frame in which they did it. I am impressed and would highly recommend them.

Johnny and Andy were great! We had a complicated problem: stopped up sewer because of tree roots along with 50 year old cast iron pipes. They had to install a clean out at the blockage, repair a broken pipe and then clear the tree roots with hydrojet. Everything’s running smoothly now! These guys are such hard workers and so good-natured. They were upfront about everything and the price was fair. We highly recommend this team!

We had to call a plumber twice this week for different problems which were handled promptly and properly. Yesterday Jeff came out to replace the water heater and I felt so sorry for him. The guy who he was training had absolutely no idea of what he was doing or being told to do, and you could just watch Jeff becoming more and more frustrated as was I and I was only watching. But overall, I think things went well and very professional. If needing in the future I know who to call and well refer friends and neighbors.

PRICE GOUGING:I needed to have a right angle valve replace for my dishwasher. I already purchased the correct part and the area under the sink was clean and accessible. This should have taken no longer that 15 minutes tops. There were no additional services that need provided.The tech came inside apart and I informed him of what needed to be done. He then made a phone call to someone to get and price and they him $325 to install a right angle valve under my sink.I informed the installer that this price seems to be WAY TOO HIGH and he informed me that was the price, which handed down by corporate. Even the installer looked embarrassed by the high price for such minimal work that needed to be done.The ONLY reason I didnt say no is because I was pressed for time because I had installers coming right behind him to install my dishwasher. Also in my building it would have taken another 3 days to schedule the water to be shut off.So at this point, I will NEVER use this service again and I will NOT recommend this company anyone. Getting price quotes from some random guy on the phone is not an ethical way to do business.Also paying $325 for 15 minutes of work is OUTRAGEOUS!(They deserve NO STARS)

This is the second time I have used Rooter Guard. We had a leak issue with the pipe going to the ice maker. Junior came and recommended to fix the issue using copper pipe instead of plastic. That was a good advice, I don’t mind paying more, knowing that they will put something with quality. If I will ever need plumbing service, I will use this company. They are my number 1 choice when comes to plumbing.

The people were all very nice, but they never seemed to carry all of the equipment on their trucks, so someone else had to come out. Finally when the problem was located, they wouldnt snake it, saying we needed to tear up the driveway and replace the pipes. I had a local plumber come out and snake it, and were fine. The bummer is, Im out $2,380 for their diagnosis! Rooter Guard claimed that it was a collapsed pipe, but my plumber said that it was just grease and calcium build up. So glad that I didnt follow through with their suggested $4,500 solution! Be careful about their expensive solutions!

Thank you so much for coming to my property and doing excellent job. I had the technician Harry, who came first to give me a free estimate. A day later I called the company and asked for Harry to come and change my entire sewer line.He did a huge amount of work which included trenchless sewer line replacement. He was able to change the sewer line without digging. That was really amazing. Their supervisor ran a camera and found roots in the sewer line. I think they are the best plumbing and rooter services in L.A.

Angel replaced 2 toilets for us the same day and installed two new sinks on the second floor. Everything seems to work good. It was very easy to communicate with Angel. He was young but very knowledgeable. Definitely the best drain service in LA.

Be aware! Seemed to be very nice upon meeting. But did not know how to fix a clogged kitchen sink. They offer a good deal for $49.00 and used an inadequate snake. Then tell you, they need to check the pipe with a camera for $150. The camera was useless, with no really image other then a black hole. Not only did they make my issue worse by stuffing the junk in the pipe while trying to jam it in the pipe, they left me with a worse situation. The drain did not even go down now. That was when they offered to re-pipe the drain for thousands of dollars.I then called my usual plumber who had my drain flushed and cleared it out in 10 minutes.

I requested a main line clean out. They said $60 I said ok. They told me if theres an inside issue it would be around $230 I said ok. I had my mother there waiting for the plumber while I was at work. They sent me Eddie M., he did not want to drain the main line even though I was ok with paying the $230 if it didnt fix my issue as an additional to the $60 for the main line. He had a hostile attitude towards me on the phone and my mother there. So I told him it was ok and not to proceed with any work. I own 5 other buildings in the city of LA, I will never use or recommend this company if this is the quality of employees that they have. I dont understand how can you run a proper business with employees like this.

Rooter Guard came to fix a prior contractors work on our sewer line. It was a very big job but the did it within a week and were very professional throughout the job. Shoutout to Oscar who was on site every day and made sure the work was good. They didnt cut any corners, Mike their supervisor and the guys on site kept me updated every day on what they found and their progress, and left the site clean when they left. They were great during a very difficult week for our family. Highly recommended!

Salvador the technician that came to my house today , all the way from mission hills solved my clog sink problem. I didn’t tell him there was another guy from a different company that came & was not able to fix the clog, he said he will get his field supervisor & it’ll cost a lot of money, I let him go, Salvador came & he persevered. He was courteous, polite and kind. He did above and beyond job, to top it all it only cost me $59. So please patronize Rooter Guard & ask for Salvador.👍👌🏼

My sink was clogged. I called Rooterman for repair and they unclogged my sink with no problem and it was a job well done. I will certainly call them again for any repair work I may need in the future. The repair man was professional, very polite and respectful.

I was referred to this company by one of my friends. For him they replaced the piipes and he was very satisfied. My problem was the water heater that was not producing hot water. I had to wait until my day off to call them. When I called them a young lady picked up the phone and told me that they could send a technician within an hour.Their plumber Albert came. When he looked at it he told me that there is no need to worry, he could just replace a small part and I could shower again. He kept his work.Thanks a lot.

My tenant’s bathtub was clogged and I don’t live in Los Angeles anymore so I couldn’t go snake the tub myself. I’m no fool so I know plumbing companies try to take advantage of you when you’re not there but Rooter guard did an exceptional job. They stayed in contact with me through the whole process and took pictures of the work they did and guaranteed it. I’m going to be using them for my other properties too.

Mason is a great plumber. We were having a repiping project, that wasn’t handled well by previous plumbing company. Mason knows what he does. Everything was handled really good by rooter guard and Mason. The whole process and how to get permits was all done on time.

I called on Monday to make appointment to replace the bathtub they did give me appointment Tuesday around 11.00 -1.00 , I take off work to come home and waiting over hour and they called tell me they didn’t have anybody to come over to get the estimate they want to reschedule 2 days later, why they didn’t call early I don’t have to take off work. Bad service they didn’t care your time at all .

Called for a blocked drain. Their ad says $59.00. Reread the ad and it says nothing about where the clean out has to be located. The quote on the phone was $250. Major rip off in false advertising. I don’t deal with an unscrupulous business and neither should you!

How we have been treated with this company is unbelieveable! We called rooter gaurd to come check out our water heater. The tech Erik came out and gave us a quote, He assured us that rooter gaurd handles everything and we would be satisfied choosing them to re route our water line and install a new water heater. Erik stated wherever they did the work that room and work space would look exactly the same as it did before they tore any walls up! That we had nothing to worry about! The job took a little bit over a week when we were told 3 days. They removed smoked detectors, wall outlet covers, and all decor from the room!When the job was done I came into the room to check out the work and immediately said to Erik that it was a horrible paint job the walls were still dusty, debris from work still left on floor and walls, outlets/smoke detectors were lost. Erik said to me I will leave the gallon of paint for you to paint the walls and for me to clean up after spending $14000. No payment plan! No problem paying on our end! Just rude. I then called the office Annisha answered and she has tried to help from the beginning! We were promised they would come back that Saturday and that Saturday came Erik came check the room and DID NO WORK just shook my husbands hand and left. I called his supervisor he offered us $1,500 about 6 times during the phone call we continued to say we need the job done. The end result was ok we will take the check He said the office will Monday to make arrangements. Monday came no phone call! I waited until Friday to call back! Same roller coaster and lies from each person spoken to! I finally speak to the GM he says ok! Monday you will receive documents. We will paint the entire room to get this over with so we dont have to hear about it and replace the alarm and outlets work will be done no later then weds I said OK THANKYOU! We didnt receive any documents until Monday night it still didnt enclose what the GM promised! It is no weds... They are staying they will only pain one wall and still havent recieved correct documention! Do NOT TRUST ROOTER GAURD! Everyone will tell you ONE thing and do the complete opposite. Weve never seen anything like this!

We called different plumbing services and this company was the quickest to respond. It was a Saturday when I called and it took them less than 2 hours to get to our house and check the problem. We called for an ongoing clog in our bathroom. We were assisted by Vic and he was very informative about how the plumbing works and why we experience the same problem even if we called rooter several times. He diagnosed the problem after using hydro jet and camera and showed us the culprit. They gave us a quotation and they were very considerate to give us a good package deal especially that we eventually had our gas pipe fixed. He went with other workers to get the job done faster. Vic explains to us the work they’re doing and making sure he answers all the questions we had. We would recommend them to our friends and family and would definitely hire them again in the future if needed so. But the 10 year warranty shows that they will definitely do an excellent job.

I paid $500 to have a disposal installed ( I purchased the disposal). The next time I used my dishwasher the kitchen was flooded with water. I contacted their service rep and explained what was happening. They would not take responsibility and after three phone calls they did not return my call.I then had to call in another plumber. The new plumber took ten minutes to find the problem. The Rooter Guard technician had failed to remove the plug on the new disposal where the dishwasher hose connects. This cost me another $400.I am very disappointed with Rooter Guard that they would not take responsibility.

We had to replace the sewer main and repipe 3 bathrooms and the kitchen sink in Northridge. I am impressed with the professionalism and hard workers. Our job foreman Eddie was amazing. One month after the job was complete, all the rain caused part of the flower bed hole to sink. The next morning Edie came over and reinforced it with four bags of sand. Great customer service. I highly recommend this company.

If I could leave no stars I would. These plumbers are crooks. They quoted me $25k for a job and said they were giving me a deal. I got a second opinion which was 1/3 the price. When I told Rooter Guard they said they would match the price. They are deceitful and take advantage of customers.

Called on Rooter Guard: 24 Hour Plumbing & Drain Services again. This time to replace a worn out toilet wax ring. Mike was on time, efficient and neat. So far it looks like he fixed my leaky toilet bowl.

Had a problem with a tub and toilet draining. Called Rooter Guard plumbing in the afternoon and a very nice lady answered the phone. She was very helpful and gave me time frame of an hour. The tech Victor called before arriving, to let me know that he is 10 minutes away. He did the job quick and left no mess.

This company is absolutely amazing. Me and my family asked the plumber a lot of questions. Mason, the plumber was very patient with us and informed us step by step of what he was going to do to fix the problem. I had these guys come out to my house twice this year. One time for sink leak and the other time for gas line. The staff was really professional. Within 45 minutes of calling this company, Eric was out at my place in Tujunga. He was great, fast, polite, and he cleared our main sewer line to the street in under 10 minutes! But our house is now functional and he showed us how to easily clean the line if this happens again - before the city does its job. Id hate to be the voice of dissent (seeing all these 5 star reviews), but Rooter Guard rescheduled me 5 times. An appointment for Sunday 4-5 pm turned out to be...- 5 to 6 pm- 6 - 7 pm- 8 - 9 pm-10pm to 12 midnight. Yes, the representative asked if I can take an appointment that late at night. Finally I said thats too late, and rescheduled for the next morning 8-9am.The representative called at 9am and asked if I can take an appointment from 10-1030am. Ive never had to go through so much trouble just to get a tech out to see a problem. Thought I had to share my experience to give this company a fair review. Gave an extra star because at least the representatives are responsive and pick up the phone.

We bought the house 3 months ago, seller paid 1850 to change the toilet ring and toilet, they did work with leaving big hole on the floor, not sealed the toilet. We started smelling drainage smell reached the realter gave us invoice to reach the plumber since it had 7 yrs warranty on their work, plumber came and checked stated that its is working, not responsible for the hole in the floor, recommended to change the toilet with bigger size to cover the hole, wanted to charge us $225 . We felt it was not reasonable to pay that much to change the toilet. I will not recommend it to anyone . Waste of time and energy

Careful to what they propose to you!First guy came to use a snake for the kitchen sink and could not get through. We accepted the grinder ( MAJOR cost). that technician did a good job.But they never showed the camera run.Promptly the supervisor came the next day and wanted to sell us a 10K job to put a liner into the line. Again: never showed me HIS additional camera run. How does that look? Honest behavior? When he realized that we did not move on his proposal he immediately packed his things and did not thank us for the several thousand dollar job before and disappeared without saying even Good Bye.It is primarily the behavior that made us very uncomfortable.

The worst customer service I have seen. They made an appointment to come and repair a leaking shower faucet, cancelled and rescheduled 3 times before they actually showed up. The technician seemed knowledgeable and told us they would have to order a part for the repair and it should be there in a few days. After a week, we called and they told us they would have the technician call us. Nope..Two weeks we called and still nothing. 3 weeks nothing. 4 weeks and they would call to schedule an appointment. 7 weeks and still nothing.

I’m so glad I called this company. They did an exceptional job. The problem was the broken faucet. I called them about 8:30 am and they were able to come the same day. Victor, the technician was very friendly and installed my new faucet as I wanted him to do. He cleaned up after him and gave a coupon for next time.

Failed to unclog my kitchen sink. Convinced me I should pay 250$ to camera my main line, which was fine. Told me I would have to hydrojet my line and quoted me 850$. I hired another plumber. He managed to unclog my kitchen sink in 2 minutes. And showed me with a visual inspection of my drain lines that they were fine. My experience with rooter guard honestly made me feel like I was being scammed the more I think about it. When I mentioned the 850$ hydrojet quote to the second plumber he laughed and said he would do it for under $400. If rooter guard can unclog your pipe then you’re fine, but after my experience, I will be calling someone else. And if they can’t unclog your pipe, call someone else first. 1 Star only because now I have the “peace of mind” that my main lines are clear.

I had a shower leak and garbage disposal problem. We contacted them and they promised to send a technician to fix the problem. Ned came and fixed the problems. He was also very professional and hard working. I will keep the number and use them again if needed.

Junior came out yesterday to do a sewer line inspection. He ran a camera up the sewer line and explained everything he was seeing. He found a few problems and gave quotes on how it could be fixed.

My shower got clogged for some reasons. I searched on yelp for the best plumbing services in Los Angeles and right at the top I saw Rooter Guard. I trusted he reviews and gave them a call. Their customer service girl Elisa sent a guy over to open the clog. She told me that I can get a free estimate which was true.The guy Andrew showed up on time and was really friendly and with a good sense of humor. He made my day besides opening the clog. Very good service. I kind of felt I owe you a review Andrew.

The plumer tech. Pascual R. down right lied to us! Our plumbing problem was external, not inside of our home. He told us it was our responsibility not the Mobile home parks. He told us that we needed a power flush it would be $600.00 and that was with a senior discount! We believed him and paid $600. Two weeks later our bath tub filled with the water draining from our washer. The problem had not been fixed, but had got worse. The next day we had another plumber come out he told us that it was the moble home parks responsibility not ours. My husband went to the parks office and they confirmed it. They sent out there plumer, fixed it with no problem. It was a hard lessons to learn, you think you have a reparable company. I just hope this information will help someone not to have this unfortunate experience! Be aware of Pascual and his supervisor with the camera!

Rooter Guard again saved us for the second time. We were having a major clog in the main line on Valentine’s Day. I called them to rescue us! Their customer service girl Elisa send a technician named Lewis to open the clog. After examining the problem Lewis told me that they needed to use a hydro jet to open the clog and install new connection pipes. We agreed to that, as we trust Rooter Guard’s techs.Lewis did the job really good and told me what caused the clog afterwards.Amazing work for a reasonable price and I got a discount as a repeat customer.

Much thanks to you, Harling! Rooter Guard was on the scene around a hour after I called for help - on a Saturday! Harling was absolutely good natured and accommodating. It didnt take too long for him to diagnose the reason for the water in our bathroom wall. It wasnt a broken pipe as I initially thought but standing water outside the restroom wall, that was leaking in. He snaked, cleared the water and checked behind the wall to ensure the pipes were ok. Quick, cordial and fixed!

Our four-year-old tankless water radiator all of a sudden quit working. I called Rooter Guard on Thursday. They said the unit was still on guarantee, so there would be no charge for the administration call. An expert would arrive somewhere around 8 and 8:30 the next morning. At 7:50 a.m. I got an email expressing that Gary was headed over. He rang the doorbell at eight oclock. He analyzed the issue: the gas had been closed off at the meter by the seismic sensor valve. Evidently, the roofers who arrived before hit into it with their stepping stool. Gary not just reset the valve, he demonstrated to me industry standards to do it without anyone elses help next time it happens. I then got some information about a normal review and upkeep of the unit, which ought to be done at regular intervals. It includes flushing out the tubes, cleaning the burners, and so forth. He cited me the cost and said he could carry out the occupation at this moment. He had every one of the parts and instruments required on his truck. By 10:30 we had boiling point water and a completely tuned tankless radiator. Gary was well disposed and an expert, simply the kind of worker I jump at the chance to give my business.
