Very dishonest business , the will charge you for problems that dont exist. Totally useless plumbing company !!

We manage thousands of tenants at our property management company and Thrifty Rooter is consistently one of our highest rated vendors by the tenants we serve. Wheather its plumbing stoppages, prevenatitve maintenace or water heater repairs, theyre always at the top of our maintenance coordinators list for who to call. Couldnt recommend them higher!

A clients basement flooded from rain fall as it does every year. The sump pump somehow became unplugged so there was 4 of water in an empty basement. They charged over $3600.00 for a new pump and replaced a water heater that was only 5 months old. (In less than a day!) Dont think a new sump pump can get rust in 1 weeks time. When I asked for the water heater back they stripped it of all parts and deliberately broke off the drain valve. When I asked for an explanation. I got no reply! ( Do not use this company)

I had used Thrifty Rooter for decades and they were great, but theyve recently been bought out and are using third party plumbers. Instead of charging an hourly rate, they now charge random amounts per each task. They quoted me $250 to replace a faucet (which I provided.) I refused the job. I had someone else install it and it took five minutes! $250 for five minutes work is outrageous. Theyve now lost me as a customer forever.
