They were not honest with me. They quoted a price on phone for a rooter of a toilet. The plumber came and did the job and then charged twice as much $437 as the quote. Called them and they did not give an appropriate response. Be careful if you use them

LA Hydrojet saved the day. Gilbert and his crew arrived quickly and found that our issue was not what we originally suspected. They found the issue and shared their plan to fix it. They were quick and efficient and ensured the work area was thoroughly cleaned before wrapping up. Gilbert also shared an issue they found that was caused by a prior service provider. He advised on how to resolve the issue and explained why it was important to avoid future issues. EXCELLENT service and I highly recommend this company. Thank You Gilbert!

Text was 5:45-8:45 pm then email was 5-8 pm at 10:10 pm and 5 phone calls no response from plumber ONLY answering service that try to tract someone to returned damn phone call. So I call roto rotter and they are on TIME! I should have saw the previous reviews most complain on time and NOT returning calls and delaying and delaying on showing up. So I cancelled and DONT charge my damn card!!!

I have used this company several times with good luck. However, my recent experience was not good. I needed some regular maintenance of clean out. I spoke to a scheduler late in the afternoon a d was told someone would call back to schedule the day/time. Nobody called. I called the next morning and did get onto the next days schedule. I had a 2-5 window. At 5pm , I called to find out when they were arriving. I was told it might not be until 7pm. Not acceptable. I was rescfor next day, noon to 3 window. I was told that Id be scheduled as a priority. At 2pm I wS called and told they were at another job and woul be 1-2 hours late. At that point, I canceled. For 3 days I waited for service and kept getting pushed to the end. That was poor service and I will never call them, again

Big delaysWe use this company a lot, but last year 2024 The company is having so much delays on their jobs. They give you a very long window times and they get there very after either when you got an overflowing as an emergency.They are good, but only when they get there, I really hope they can get more people and be on time and with shortly window times this year.

All the one-star reviews that you see are correct.I called them to unclog a toilet, they charged me $470 for doing so. I still didnt say a word, but after two weeks, the problem occurred, they wouldnt come fix this unless we would do a new order (and paying again). So, I called another plumber, when we moved the toilet, we noticed that these scam artist hadnt changed the wax ring when they removed the toilet. A wax ring is literally a few bucks and they even charged me for a wax ring on my invoice. So, the toilet overfloat because they lied and they scammed me. And you think after showing them the pictures and proof, they would apologize and try to fix it. Oh no! They are super rude and aggressive, they cut you off (as other reviewers have mentioned), they try to intimidate you and they never accept responsibility.One way to deal with them and its not writing bad reviews, they have bunch of bad reviews, they dont care......Take them to small court and complain about them on Contractors State License Board. Hopefully we can all do a class-action lawsuit as wall. We need to stop these scam artists from scamming people more and more.

First, I would say that the technician that I have experienced in my building are awesome. The issue with the company is methodology of doing business with a commercial client. As a GM, I know how important it is to pay my vendors on time especially if they are net 30. For my building, we have paid $135,853.30 year to date in service/repairs but to have out account put on hold for 3 invoices that were less than $1k to which one of the invoices was a dispute to which your company billed for 2 hours of service when our logs and the resident indicates the service was only for 30 minutes. For my building, I try to establish a team of vendors that my residents know and trust and we were there with this company but it is a shame that account is lost for less than $1,000.00.

We made the request for the service at two in the afternoon, it is 10:47 at night and no one has arrived first, they came from four to eight then 8:30 after nine to 10 and it is the time that they do not show up I marked and They say that or that they dont know what time they are going to come and that they get in touch

I had a great experience with these guys. First of all Ian who answered the phone was super helpful. He explained all possible outcomes with cost estimates and got someone dispatched same day. Then Larry came to the house and was super cool and honest. Thank you and you guys got a customer for life

I’ve contracted LA Hydro a number of times over the yrs to clean out mainlines. Each and every time, their techs have arrived same day (often w/i an hr or two), completed the job swiftly, efficiently. and showed professionalism that seems quite seldom these days. Thanks, LAHJ!

Hands down the worst plumber I have ever hired. Hired them to clear an area drain with a hydrojet and they showed up with a snake. I let them snake the area drain which was a huge mistake since they spent hours doing it and barely cleared anything from the line. The next major rain we had the drain backed up immediately. They said their work was guaranteed for 30 days or 90 days, but I cant get a live person on the phone or get anyone to call me back to come out again.Additionally, I scheduled them to come out and put a camera down the line, as they suggested, and they were a no call-no show..completely wasted my time. I even called them to find out why they didnt show up and no one called me back. Im gonna file a small business claim and report them to the BBB. Steer clear of this company unless feel like wasting your money.

Ive been using LA hydro jet since 1999. As a contractor I use them on almost every job that has a problem with the drain. Ive referred them to dozens of clients and all of them have been satisfied with the work.

Terrible. Theyre contracted by my building to unclog toilets, as happened to us unexpectedly. The technician showed up late in the day and determined he didnt have the big snake for the job at hand and offered to try to return later that night or the next morning. He proposed both options but ***strongly suggested*** that we wait until the next day given the duration of the job and lateness of the evening. His reasoning made sense, so I agreed to the Sunday job. The arrival window of 8am-11am came and went. When I reached out to my building manager, she had heard nothing of their needing to come back, and when she contacted LA Hydro-Jet, they told her they would come by between 4pm and 8pm. When the tech did show up around 5, he disappeared to his van after a cursory look-see, on the phone for close to an hour, apparently getting approval for the job, which happened to be on a Sunday. Again, this was a job they werent immediately prepared for on Saturday and for which their tech had proposed Sunday as a perfectly doable day for fixing the toilet. And lo and behold, the tech just couldnt get the authorization for the job from his corporate office, hours and hours after the original appointment time. To make matters even worse, after speaking with LA Hydro-Jet by phone, my building manager told me that their tech who had visited me on previously said I forbade him from finishing the job on Saturday. This was a flat-out lie, as he had presented both options as valid, going so far as to lean on Sunday as being preferable. If he had ever said that Sunday was going to be a special case, I would never have allowed him to leave. So its one full weekend without a working toilet in my apartment, my weekend ruined and wasted completely before I return to work tomorrow. They say theyll be back on Monday, but theyve only lied/been wrong up til now. They couldnt be bothered to communicate with my building manager and wouldnt be straight with me about Sunday being a no-go, going so far as to make false claims to my landlord to protect themselves. Completely useless!

Santiago is a rock star and dose a great job. So many techs just do the bare minimum. Santiago is a true pro! The back office jetting department are great to work with as well.The receptionists who you get on the phone at first in my opinion dumb/borderline stupid and lie! Fix that problem and you won’t be a 3 star company.

Had a crazy bad clog in our units bathtub, regular plumber couldnt take care of it and I wasted an entire day trying to figure it out. Got recommended LA Hydrojet and they not only came out the same morning I called but had it done fast! They had to break out the big snake for my issue and everything was running fine afterwards. Will definitely call them for hard problems in the future!

I had a clogged drain in the kitchen in my condo. I called a plumber out of the blue and after an hour was left with a mess, a still clogged drain, and more frustration. My HOA plumber sent out someone from LA Hydro-Jet. He fixed, fixed it, in 5 mins. Left no mess. Was so professional and nice I was totally impressed. My tech Leo was amazing. For large condos I have total trust in their services.

They did a bad job that cost $358, left my toilet crocked an wobbly and only gave me a 7day warranty, had them come back the following day giving us the impression that a manager was going to fix the issue, NO it would be a repair at our expense! No way was a rip off

Technicians, Ian and Benny, unclogged our kitchen sink. Both were as your company touts: honest, knowledgeable, and dependable.

Rafael was wonderful! He came to do a pipe inspection with a camera and was very thorough. He explained everything clearly and gave us a very help recommendation on how we could fix plumbing for the older bathroom and prevent future leak problems in our home.

Disappointed with overtime work order. Tenant was without a working toilet and bathtub. Tech came out in the evening, and advised to come in the morning b/c he needed another tech to help, and it would be very late for the tenant (past midnight). I agreed, and left lockbox and permission to enter info to the night time tech. The work the next day was not completed due to miscommunication with the tech, and after calling to reschedule, the work cannot be done today. Thus, tenant continues not to have working bathroom. In addtion, the supervisor Jodie did not offer any discount since the work was pushed to overtime. Overall, disappointed with the communication and follow through with the overnight tech team. Normally, L.A. Hydroject is my go to vendor, and disappointed by this experience.

William didn’t try to find what happened a few weeks ago for a $500 service I paid for. Just kept insisting I needed to pay more to have someone come out even though the same line was hydrojetted. Definitely turned me off to this company by this guy

They arrived when they said they would. Very experienced plumbers, and they didnt smell like Bubba!

They are reliable and good customer service. We used lahydrojet for all our stoppages, Hydrojetting , garbage disposal etc. I really enjoy working with them.

Their technician JAIRO GUERRERO is a great guy, he rootered my main system and then we found an additional stoppage at a different cleanout and he rootered that too for no extra charge. Will use again.

They gave me a work window of 1:30- 5:30p. When no one had arrived by 5:30, I put in a call. They told me not to expect someone until 8:00-8:30. No one had called to tell me to expect a delay.Plumber arrived at 8:13p. He was courteous and efficient .

We know our kitchen drain is a headache to snake due to many complications. Dominic G. came out and wasn’t afraid of the task and spent the day snaking the drain from multiple locations. He was thorough and professional. This company was recommended by another company/technician because he was unable to snake the drain in 3 hours. After explaining how the piping flowed Dominic spent the day tackling my drain as well the neighbors. I have had numerous plumbers through the years but I have to say Domenic exceeded them all.My neighbor had scheduled another company for their sink but their company quickly left saying he couldn’t work on their issue. Truck 6076 almost ran my family off the road on Christmas Eve on the 10 freeway (and 5 other cars). I called customer service to let them know but no one answered. I sent them an email. No response. No clue how their actual service is but i imagine if you hire them and have a problem after, they would be just as unresponsive.

Miguel is the best!!! He helped me with a clog that quickly turned into a flooding situation. He even gave me his personal number for future incidents. Above and beyond service!!

This company was great. I called for a hydro-jetting of my connection to the sewer (roots and other debris). I called at 1035 AM and was scheduled for a 100-300- PM window the same day. Ian, the tech, arrived at right around 100 PM! He was professional, patient, and explained everything in detail. Ian did not do a patch job that so many others will do. Instead he showed me the blockages via a camera before, during, and after and went back and forth to ensure a full clean out. You dont pay if they are not successful but happily, they were. I would recommend them and Ian with no hesitation whatsoever.

Had two toilets overflowing. One from the base. One from the bowl. Had a guy come on the 2/13 and work on them and once finished left without notice. On 2/24 they both had the same issue. I guess the work was past warranty and there is nothing they want to do about it unless I pay again.

We have used this company a few times for some unfortunate malicious clogging.They have always been quick, honest and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.They do infact serve OC as well. Dont be fooled by the name.

We have been using this company for many years and never had issues however all the sudden we see an additional charge on our bill that was not authorized. When we called them to get clarification we were told its standard practice and their policy to charge this fee without obtaining our approval. Again we have been using this company for years and never have been told this, they know authorization is required before the service is performed as its noted on our account. I would usually deal with the company directly instead of posting a poor review to get it resolved but the woman I spoke with didnt escalate the call to her supervisor as promised. Its been weeks and there is no resolution which leaves a very poor taste especially since we are talking about a $25 fee.

Cleared the drain that had rain water backing up into the garage. Did excellent work. I wished I had hired them before I wasted money on attempts to clear by other companies. Gilbert Telles was knowledgable , polite and worked hard to thoroughly solve the problem.

Had LA Hydro Jet clean out our landscape drains. The technician, John, was very articulate, professional, thorough and careful. Did an awesome job. Drains are completely clean. Their special equipment uses a special nozzle to break up mud and walk along the entire drain system. Very happy with the service. Right on estimate (budget) as well.

I live in an apartment and my toilet was stopped up. The management company scheduled the plumber from 3 to 8pm window however, because they are understaffed and lots of plumbing issues for some reason they had to rescheduled me for today. Jose our plumber was so fast and friendly.He was very efficient and checked our sink which we knew was sorta not emptying fast and fixed that as well even though it was not part of the reason he was here. He did have to get approval which was done in less than a minute. He checked our tub drain as well and now everything is working great.I was worried because I read some of the other reviews that were not very good. You have to realize that its not the company its the plumber you get. Plus if you live in an apartment and your manager or management company contracts them, make sure you follow up with Hydro and NOT wait for your manager to take care of it. Very happy.

This pandemic is hard on my roots and my sewers roots. LA Hydro did a 100% great job. Very professional and helpful. Glad that they are able to continue this much needed service.

Used these guys a few times to root out my main sewer, seemed like a good value. $100. Shower was backing a bit lately so I had them come out and check out situation. Guy said it was probably the main so he did that and charged me $200. Came in and ran tub for a few seconds and told us we were all good. Half hour later, shower is backing up again. They wanted to charge us again to come back out!!! Guy said we wouldnt let him in house to check shower. LIARS AND CHEATS!!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!

They were called to a stopped up restaurant drain pipe at SOCAL Self Storage in Hollywood. They broke the pipe and it flooded the basement of the storage place in June of 2020. We contacted them to ask what they were going to do about the damage they caused to our stuff in the storage unit they flooded and Alex who claimed to be a supervisor for LA Hydrojet said the owner was aware of what happened and would take care of it. Its now going on December 2021 and they have avoided responsibility. BEWARE. We will now file a complaint with the state contractors board since they dont deserve a plumbing license.

Fantastic. Life saver plumbers! We were on day 3 of other plumbers failing to give us functioning drains again (massive main line backup with roots and offsets). I was referred to these guys by another plumber that had a hydro jet but said this was the company to call for more complicated matters so we wouldn’t waste more time. Called them and they had the 1st tech at my door within an hour. The 2nd tech showed up shorty after. Long story short, by dinner time, they had dug up our main, replaced a bunch of it, installed another proper clean out so we wouldn’t have the problem in the future, and have us back the ability to shower, flush toilets, etc. And they were nice, professional, and just totally on the ball. And their prices weren’t outrageous! I’m having them come back next week to reseat toilets with new wax rings. Highly, highly recommended.

My building hired this company to fix a problem with my sink, and the plumber showed up at my apartment at 11 at night! Woke me up and got me out of bed. Absolutely ridiculous.

Worth every penny.

My HOA hired this company to unclog a drain for us and instead they put a hole through our drain. When we called them out on this, they stated their tech hadnt done any work here and later told me that it was true he did put a hole in our line. We asked for repairs to be done for THEIR error and now I have two floors flooded because of this. Instead of being helped, Ive been passed around and constantly put on hold.
