A friend of mine needed an emergency gas cut-off installed on the gas meter and shes also looking to replace a hot water tank. Their quote by far was the best. When she received R&S as a referral I checked with Angies List and they won the Super Service award last year so she went with them instead of two other plumbers she and I normally use. She will be switching to them permanently. I wish I could get the manager at my building to use them. Joseph and Salvador were the plumbers who came out to do the work. Nelson the supervisor was great about reaching out to me with an estimate and scheduling and following up on their work. My friend loved the fact they took Zelle as payment as she was unavailable to be there today.
I think this company needs to spend some time and effort on their internal communication and coordination. They were very disorganized and uncoordinated for my job. I had them come out and give an estimate for 4 jobs at a new home I had just purchased. They did not come on time. Checking in with the admin didnt result in any updates on the plumbers arrival. Then I got a call saying they were there but couldnt reach me. I was sitting in my living room, so this was confusing. They came, took notes and pictures, then provided an estimate. I then scheduled them to do the work. I made some changes to the work order, but the admin made mistakes on the order, so I ended up working with a guy named Nelson to get it right. I was told by the admin that my appointment was from 10 am to noon. I had originally been told it was from 8 am to 10 am. So I asked the admin to confirm and let her know I had it on my calendar for the earlier time. She confirmed it was 10 to 12. I currently live a 30 minute drive away from the property. So at 9:20, my family and I headed up to the property to meet the plumber. At 9:30 I got a call from the admin saying the plumber was at the property. I told her that she had confirmed the appointment was for 10-12, and we would be there by 10. When we arrived at 9:50 we saw no plumber, called the admin who told us he had left. She told us he had gone to get supplies and would be back within the hour. We waiting until after noon and he never came. So we called the office back and asked where he was. Then Nelson called and informed us that our appointment had been 8-10, so he just left to do other jobs and what the admin had said about when he would return was not true. We were just made to wait for 2 hours for nothing. Nelson apologized and offered to take fifty dollars off the total, and that the plumber could come the next day (Sunday) between 8 and 10. So now I had to come up again on Sunday morning to get work done that was supposed to be done Saturday. OK, fine. Sunday morning Im at the property by 8 am. The plumber comes at 9:30. He completes one of the jobs, but then doesnt have the right equipment to do the second job so he has to go find it. Specifically, he had been told by the person who did the estimate that my fixtures were brushed brass and what he brought was chrome. I am confused about why the initial visit with notes and pictures wasnt enough to ensure he would bring the right hardware. I asked him to pick up two pieces since I have two sinks so wanted the part to match in both sinks. He left, then after about an hour he called to say that he couldnt find the part and would have to come back Monday. I said OK. But then after I hung up with him I changed my mind right away and decided I wasnt interested in the work anymore and wanted to work with another company for this work. I felt they were charging too much. They were charging me $400 to replace two pop-up assembles. So I called the office back, spoke to the admin and told her I was canceling the rest of the job and would just pay for the work that had already been done. This morning (Monday) I got a call from the plumber saying he had been to several stores to find the parts, so I asked him if the admin had informed him the job had been canceled. She had not. This whole experience was a comedy of errors which could have been avoided with organization and communication. The majority of problems appear to be with the admin. They get 2 stars, not only 1, because they did the work on one job just fine, and Nelson tried his best to be accommodating for wasting my time. - Changing this to one star due to the response from owner implying that I made mistakes here. Updating an estimate for work is not accommodating. I acknowledged in my review all the accommodations that your company did, and mentioned the change in work order.
The first time they came out they refused to run the snake cause I dont have main drain clean out. I told them the previous plumber was able to unclog it using the one in the garage. They still refused and wanted to run a camera inspection but also didnt have the equipment and have to come back the next day. The next day two different plumber came and ran the camera inspection and found the clogged but also refused to even try to unclog it and recommend a spot repair which was quoted 2150$. I ask them to send a written quote and they never did. They are used car salesman more then plumber. What is the point of a camera inspection when you dont even try to unclog it after. I am going back to my previous plumber. Also R S one plumber is also call MVP plumber? A little strange to have two different company name.
Sebastian showed up early to unclog our drain. He was professional and polite. He diagnosed the problem and quickly solved the issue. He explained the cost and cleaned up afterwards. A great experience.
Martin was very polite and did a great job on unclogging my bathtub drain.
Very satisfied with job. Chris wad very polite and informed us of all the problems. They worked very hard and long. Thank you
R S One was a nightmare. We had a problem with our hot water recirculating pump on our water heater. The estimator said he needed to run a bunch of new pipes under the house, for a cost of $3,600. I was shocked and didnt approve the job of course. The pump used to work fine and I felt that there was no reason to have to do that much work to get it to work again. Fortunately, I called another plumber, recommended to me by a friend. He said that the pump was installed improperly and all he needed to do was reconfigure a couple of pipes next to the water heater. Total cost: $680.To this day, Ill never know whether the R S One estimator was incompetent or trying to rip me off. Either way, Im relieved that I didnt let him charge me early 5X what was actually necessary to fix the problem. And needless to say, Ill never call R S One again.
R S One is the greatest! Ignacio was our first contact with this plumbing company. We needed a quote on replacing our grey water (sewer drains) under our 1954 house. He knew exactly what was needed to be done. He even drew me a diagram. He did not try to oversell us. Next day Sebastian and Jose showed up bright and early dressed in their R S One shirts they went right to work under our house, removing old the crusty galvanized and cast iron lines and replacing it with ABS. Both Sebastian and his helper Jose worked as a team and got the job done to our complete satisfaction. And, their work comes with a 25 year guarantee! We definitely be using R S One for our future plumbing needs and possibly for a complete bathroom remodel. Thank You R S One Plumbing Company!
I made an appointment the day before for my broken water heater and they were able to squeeze me in the next day. Joe replaced them quickly. He was very professional and the work was done correctly. I’ll definitely use these guys again in the future
Every one of the workers of RS One Plumbing performed their task to the best of their capability. They spent almost a week at my property, showing up in the early morning and working very hard all day, fixing serious plumbing and sewer problems. The quality of their service was spectacular.
Employees were both neat and professional. Did a good job faster than I expected.Appears everything was done according to the contract Thank you. John Mandich
The pllumber was nice and skillful but the price for the work was too high. The sell person is very skilled and running his mouth. I will never use this company again. There are too many reasonably price companies out there.
Major replacement and competent handling of new piping and plumbing system to solve all the problems we were experiencing with 70 year old cast iron rusted and clogged pipes. All RS ONE employees were smart, courteous, professional, highly competent, and fast. Knew exactly what they were doing despite rough and changing circumstances.
Frankie and Renee came to my residence and provided experienced and knowledgable service. They replaced my hot water tank gas control shutoff valve and was very prompt and clean about their work. They were very helpful with answering questions I had, and I am even considering having them come back out to meet more of our plumbling needs. Excellent service! You should hire them for your plumbling issues!
Mr. Franco Oellana was the best service professional I have used in over 40 years of home ownership.
The two technicians that came this Sunday morning to unclog my kitchen drain were very professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and pleasant.
Jay had really great service, very reasonable price! definitely recommend!!!
I am happy the work he performed.
They never returned my call.
