A few weeks ago, I reached out to Robert from Advance Electrical Services to inquire about installing an EV charger at our Medical Spa in Santa Clarita, CA. From the very beginning, Robert was professional and responsive, answering all my questions without ever being pushy about securing the job.Recently, my wife and I purchased a custom home in Los Angeles, and since the garage was already pre-wired for an EV charger, we decided it would make more sense to install it there. I purchased a top-of-the-line JuiceBox EV charger and contacted Robert to check his availability. He was able to fit us in the very next day around 3:30 PM.Two of Robert’s team members came out to our property and were just as professional and communicative. They treated our new custom home with care and respect, even being extra cautious around our freshly epoxy-coated garage floors. They explained the installation process clearly and completed the job in about 45 minutes to an hour. The final result was flawless, and I was impressed with how clean and meticulous their work was.Having a hardwired EV charger is a huge bonus for us, especially with the challenges of charging in LA over the past 8-9 months. I called Robert for a quote on a job and he was very quick to respond with what I thought was a reasonable price.He was able to squeeze us in the same week and on the day of the job, I was happy to see his workers arrived right on time. They were very nice, very professional and when the job was completed, the work areas were clean and tidy.I was walked through the completed job and was very pleased.Robert is quick to communicate via text or phone call which is very much appreciated. They fast, clean and professional, know what they are doing, had them install tesla EV charger, they came to do the estimate and start right away and finish in one hour after grabbing some parts, their price is reasonable
Living out of state it was difficult for me to find an electrician I could count on with breaking the bank. Robert and his crew did a great job updating my electrical service and even came back to put in a dedicated line. He was very responsive to my calls and questions. I will definitely not hesitate to consider them for any other electrical situations I need.
I have mixed feelings about this service. The good news is, they returned my call, came when they said they would, and fixed the problem. The not so good news was they told me a service call is &130 and that amount would apply to any additional costs. It ended up costing &230 for a shorted breaker that took 10 minutes to replace. No additional work was performed. Thats quite a bit of sticker shock. I suppose at need leaves you in disadvantageous position. Harbor no delusions about a simple price for a simple job.
Amazing! Robert showed up the same day we contacted him and after much communication on price we agreed to hire his team. The next day an electrician showed up and fixed it right away at a fair price. They are very professional, very polished, communicate well and we are incredibly impressed!!! Hire them now!!!!
I was having trouble with one of the circuit breakers that kept on turning off. They took the time to diagnose the problem and fixed the problem switch. Have not had any problems with the circuit since then. They were very reasonable priced, pleasant & punctual. Whenever I have an electrical problem again I will definitely be calling them again.
I was having a problem with my refrigerator shorting out the electrical outlet.Robert came over on time, with just half a days notice.As requested he texted me when he was on his way over.He diagnosed the problem. Becase it seemed to have reset itself and is now working, he did not charge me for his time.I very strongly recommend Robert and his company for their excellent service.Cheers!DocMikeChiro

UPDATE: DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.The owner is insisting that it was (somehow??) MY fault that they did not show up or text or call to notify me that they would not show up. I got the most rude, embarrassingly immature and astonishingly unprofessional responses from Robert after writing this review. Let me be clear, I confirmed with him multiple times and received no communication after confirming the time last night. It is not my fault that Advance booked an emergency job with me and then DID NOT SHOW UP, CALL OR TEXT. After my experience paired with the owners response, I assume they carry this childish, no-accountability attitude into all their work. As such, I wouldnt let them near my projects - god forbid they make a mistake when they work on your house, Im sure that will be the customers fault too!DONT waste your time, energy or money. Learn from my mistake.Not reliable, dont count on the appointment time and dont call for an emergency. Booked for an emergency - needed a simple fix for a shorted-out light switch before a house inspection, so I rushed to find someone who could be here within 24 hours, with a hard deadline at noon today (a deadline I emphasized three separate times for this booking.) Confirmed last night with Advance that they would be here by 10 am, or earlier if possible. Started to wonder where they were this morning when it hit 10:15, assumed it was traffic, which would have been fine - went to look up their number here and low and behold, I have a Yelp message (with NO call or text) saying theyre changing the booking time to 2 pm. After I confirmed THREE TIMES that I needed someone here by ten because the job needs to be finished at NOON. Thank you, Advance, for turning an anxiety provoking emergency into a true full-blown crisis for me today. You cost me time, money, and a whole lot of energy by being so unreliable.
