I Called to get an in person quote for a tankless water heater flush and left this job with a whole house filter and a fridge connection. When Michael first arrived we inspected the tankless unit and tested the water to conclude flushing was not my best option. He then walked me through my options for home filters and we decided on a Halo system. Michael was very well educated on the subject and gave me the best value filter for my needs. He installed the unit the next day in less than a few hours and left me with a flawless work of art. I couldnt be more impressed with the professionalism he brings to this trade! I also requested to hook up a fridge and he did that in what seemed like 30 minutes. He will be the only plumber I call from now on!! Thank you Michael!!!

The plumber arrived on time, was very clear about what needed to be done and very specific about the price each job would cost. He did not rush me to make a decision and gave me various options as far as how the job could be completed and the various prices. He worked quickly and efficiently, and did an excellent job. My central air/heater stopped working. Along comes Vincent and Shawn to save the day! A thorough inspection was done, a diagnosis was made, and it was determined that the thermostat needed to be replaced. The process was explained, and they answered all my questions.Once the new thermostat was installed, they tested it to ensure it was working properly. Gave me a quick tour on to set/change it, along with the paper instructions. Great and professional job!

Noticed our shower began dripping, called alpine and they quickly sent out Ivan G to my home to assess the issue. Ivan G was the perfect person for the job ! He was thorough, explained everything so I could understand perfectly, courteous, and very professional. He needed some help and Mike W was there in no time making sure my issue was resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend these teo technicians !

I still have problem with my sink, Ivan did everything he could, 2 times hydrojet, camera.. changed p trap, and even clean up under sink after work, but he said I have to call HOA, because it is not my house problem.I am very happy with Ivans service. Bad business practices. Not recommended.I asked for 2 things: 1) replace a faucet, and 2) replace a toilet wax ring due to a leak. Quote was provided and we agreed a technician would show up between 8am-10am on Monday. They never showed up. They sent a text message to me asking to call them back. I texted and called back and no answer, just goes to voicemail. No text back either. They never showed up for their appointment as scheduled and completely left me hanging. Total waste of time.

The Tech that fixed my leaking pipe was Jonathan Ornelas. He was very informative explained everything step-by-step. He Had a good sense of humor and made me laugh. I felt comfortable having him in my home and if I ever have any problems with my plumbing, I would request him if possible.

As a License Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of California and a Real Estate Investor, with more than 30-year experience in construction, I have worked with dozens of contractors, plumbers, electricians, etc. Based on my extensive experience and working with ALPINE PLUMBING & ROOTER, I witnessed that:- ALPINE PLUMBING & ROOTER ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CLIENTS UNDER STRESSFUL SITUATIONS,- ALPINE PLUMBING & ROOTER’s WORK IS UNWORTHY EXPENSIVE, AND- ALPINE PLUMBING & ROOTER ARE EXTREMELY UNFAIR TO THEIR CLIENTS AFTER THE ACTUAL LOWER WORK COST IS KNOWN.Here is how their “Money Trap System” works:- First, they will get you their “charmer” Mathew and their “Quote Person” Erick, who will describe you the “problematic plumbing issue” and the “excessive work” needed.- They will not thoroughly review or get under the crawlspace to professionally investigate the actual solution needed. It will be a hunch. A long shot, but great for them to price it.- They will provide you extremely high and unreasonable quote for the “excessive work” that will make you blown away,- Unfortunately, due to the time-dependent impact of the existing plumbing problem (such as plugged sewer pipe, plugged bathroom or water leaks), you will feel stressed. You will not wait days to get another plumber quote, but will agree to their quote, assuming that it was given in a “good faith”.- Once you signed on the quote, you will be locked while their phase 2 of their “Money Trap System” process is initiated.- In that phase, you will witness how the work is quickly performed and requires way less “excessive efforts” than they initially described. For example, you will expect 2-3 days of work, but they will do the actual work in 5.5 hours (!).- Then, they will send their “charmer” to get you sign on blank electronic screens and collect the payment.In that time you may try to talk to their Erick and/or Mathew. You may ask them to look again into the pricing and be reasonable. You may ask them to be fair and conscious to lower the price to the actual cost. However, DON’T BOTHER. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. FAIRNESS AND GOOD-FAITH IN PRICING IS FAR FROM THEM. FORGET ABOUT IT. THEY WON’T FAIRLY LOWER THE INITIAL PRICE AGREED.We unfairly have been stung by Alpine Plumbing & Rooter for more than $2,600 for $100 worth of material and 5-6 hours of 1-plumber work (!). Note that they initially requested more than $3,200 for the same thing, or more than $400 for a plumber hour. I left messages with Erick and talked to Mathew. However, it is like talking to a wall. They were unfair. It was painful to see them RIP US OFF in front of my own eyes, with no issue whatsoever.I plan to contact CSLB for more information on how clients, homeowners and consumers can protect themselves from this Alpine Plumbing & Rooter’s unfair pricing situations.In addition, I’m anxious to see if and how their owner, Bret, will respond. I know that he was personally behind the scenes, setting these insane prices, and not accepting my request for reasonable pricing after the actual cost was known.In conclusion, I strongly don’t recommend working with Alpine Plumbing & Rooter in general, and with their representatives Mathew and Erick, in particular. Dont waste your time and money!

If you refuse to let the plumber into your home for any reason, they call the Sheriffs department.Reply:So, your company justifies calling the sheriffs dept to swat a family because you see a missing water heater? Which we called you out to give us an estimate on installing one, in addition to fixing a burst pipe.Your racist plumber shows up not at the scheduled time between 2-4pm instead shows up at 7:30 PM at night. Did not call to let me know what time he was coming, did not call to even let us know he was at the gate. Was to, stupid to dial us at the gate how hard is it to push 3 digits into the intercom?Then he wants me to let him into my home at 7:30 PM at night, he was already fired, I just wanted a quote, to confirm he was fired. When he asked to be let into the house to fix a problem on the outside of the house, Ive had fixed 20 times now I should have called the Sheriffs.When I opened the door, he gasped and smiled, I assumed he was just gay, now I know hes just another racist Karen.I have a right to decline entry into my home for whatever reason I want to, this isnt Russia or some third world country at least its not supposed to be.I tried to be polite and say no you cannot enter my home because Im working in here its not safe. Next time I will say hell no, you cannot come in and your fired.But hey give that guy my best.

I thought we were gonna have to break out our concrete to access the sewer line but Mike found an alternative solution that didn’t require any breaking out or too much digging. He saved us from a massive headache and saved us some bucks. ;)

On my first service with Alpine Plumbing, Michael was great. He explained what was needed to make the repairs, was friendly, and we were completely satisfied with his work.I had a second job, also with Michael, and was again completely satisfied. Michael’s co-worker Herb was very pleasant as well. Some weeks later technicians Matthew and Vince came out to make some adjustments to an earlier toilet fix. They too were friendly, professional, prompt, and they fixed the issue I was having in mere minutes. I highly recommend Alpine Plumbing. A had a third repair done to some outside faucets in December and met staff Shawn and his manager Jeff. Again, excellent friendly staff who did a great job! I will say that a technician did have to come out and make corrections to a previous job, but it was repaired promptly at at no additional cost by staff John. John and the entire team is friendly and professional

Very professional staff, were able to send out Technicians the next day and completed a complex plumbing issue in two days. The water was never shutoff so the house was livable. They did a thorough job of covering the furniture and hauling off the mounds of debris. This project was messy and its hard to imagine everything was restored to original. Would highly recommend Alpine.

The building is 1957 and I am amazed how Alpine plumbing fits the valves in level and secure. Osmand was the lead plumber and did great finish work. On time too

Alpine Plumbing helped us out with a sewer repair after roots got into the pipes. Vincent was very patient and informative, showing us what was wrong, explaining the correct solution and working with our schedule to get the repairs performed. They worked around our holiday schedules to cable snake, water jet, inspect and repair our services. Unless you know where to look in the front yard, you cant really see where they worked, the lawn looks like they were never here.I am grateful they let me look over their shoulder as they did the work so I could learn what the problem was and how they were performing the repair.I would definitely recommend them. The crew knew what needed to be done and worked very quickly to restore service to our house.

Unfortunately, my experience this time was not the experience Ive had previously with Alpine Plumbing & Rooter. I called Alpine to clear a sink drain, and I had a $49 coupon that said it would be cleared or you dont pay. Well, the plumber couldnt clear it. When I asked about the coupon stating if he couldnt clear it, I didnt have to pay, he mumbled around and said that didnt apply, because I had other work done. If I had known that, I wouldnt have had the other work done. That work had nothing to do with the coupon, and of course I expected to pay for the other work. I just dont think I should have had to pay the $49 for clearing the sink when he didnt clear it, as the coupon stated. He knew I had the coupon, so when I was going to get something else done in addition to clearing the stoppage, he should have told me that I would have to pay the $49 even if he couldnt clear the sink, because of getting something else done. That would have been the obvious and natural thing to do, but since he didnt inform me of that, I really question if that is Alpines policy concerning their coupon, because it just doesnt make sense. The sink needed to be hydro-jetted, so since he couldnt waive the $49 for the snaking that didnt work or apply the $49 toward the hydro-jetting, I brought their service to an end and called someone else out to do the hydro-jetting. That company cleared the line, and their hydro-jetting service was less expensive, so it worked out, and I guess I now have a new company to use as my go-to for plumbing needs.

From the very beginning, from the receptionist Kyle listening to my concerns and providing an early appointment to the service technician Tyler, Alpine plumbing superseded my expectation. Tyler called with an ETA and most importantly arrive within the timeframe provided. Upon arrival, Tyler greeted me with respect and gave me the proper greeting of the day. Most importantly Tyler had a great attention to detail with being transparent and informing me of the process of flushing and descaling my tankless water heater. Because I hadn’t done periodic maintenance on it for almost 3 years, and Tyler was generous/patient enough to flush the system twice upon my request, which gave me a piece of mind the quality of service provided by Tyler. Also by the way, they provided an estimate prior to and the final cost was at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend my friends and family To Alpine Plumbing.

This was probably the most efficient experience we’ve had with ANY type of service we’ve had to call over to our home. From scheduling to our actual appointment was less than 24 hours. Our service appointment was handled by Michael. He was a polite and relatable, but more importantly, he was punctual, knowledgeable, skilled, and just overall very professional. We also appreciated that he was a clear and courteous communicator that set accurate expectations for us on everything from his arrival time, what to expect on his arrival, possible causes of our issue, explaining the actual cause after resolving it, and best practices concerning our plumbing moving forward. He just made the whole process quick and seamless, and now there’s one headache in our daily lives that we no longer have to deal with thanks to Michael!

I had a plumbing problem at a rental property which I manage where the hot water was not coming out of the kitchen faucet. They were able to go to the property give me notification of when they arrived and told me the situation and was able to resolve it for a very reasonable price. I thought they were honest and reliable and will definitely contact them again for any plumbing needs.

I was very pleased with the service I was provided. Unfortunately, the technician was unable to unclog my drain. Because he was unable to clog the drain, there was no charge. He left me with an estimate of the work required to fix my problem. There was no pressure put on me by the technician.

Very pleased with our experience with Ivan yesterday.He called to let me know he was on the way, got there on time, and was very friendly.He was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything to me and took the time to answer all of my many questions.Another thing that i really appreciated about Ivan was how respectful he was of the property. He put on shoe covers before entering and when he left, the bathroom looked like no one had even been there. No junk left behind, no random damage or scrapes anywhere, nothing!One thing I will say, this company will definitely not be the most economical choice if cost is your main concern. I got 4 other estimates through yelp and all of them were under $200. Alpine didnt offer an estimate through yelp/over the phone, so the visit with Ivan was the first in person estimate I got for this plumbing issue.I was quoted (and ended up paying) $350 to have a wax ring for a toilet replaced. If it wasnt for Ivan making me feel 100% confident because he was so knowledgeable, i probably would have gone with another company (for price purposes only).If your main concern is quality of work, i would definitely recommend Alpine because they certainly offer that. Sometimes its better to pay a little more to get the job done right & to have peace of mind!Thank you Ivan for such a smooth & easy experience!

Had a toilet clog and Alpine were very quick to send one of their men within the hour. David was very helpful in helping me resolve the clog and might I add he was very knowledgeable about his work and gave me some future advisement to prevent any sewer backups. Over all 10/10 experience.

Vincent and Sean are the best! My water heater completely stopped working, so I called and requested service. After switching from a traditional water heater to a tankless water heater, I encountered a lot of issues following the installation. Vincent and Sean were incredibly patient, explained the issues to us, and helped us figure out the root cause.

I highly recommend Alpine Plumbing for any plumbing services. The drain pipe under the utility tub of the laundry room leaked for about a few hours so we had to stop using it in the evening. I contacted Alpine Plumbing the next morning and needed the same day service. Mike and Jairo showed up about an hour and a half later. It took them a couple minutes to diagnosed the problem and fixed it in less than 20 minutes! They were courteous, professional, wore masks, and explained what was done.I also had the water lines in the house re-piped a little over a week before. The price was reasonable, the technicians arrived on time and were ready to work. They worked fast! I had seen 2 other plumbing companies before him, he was straight forward and honest and told me I didnt actually have a problem! It took me a bit to understand but he was patient and broke it down and explained. This guy isnt here to take money, he works honest. Love that. The other two companies were trying to take my money man.. geez, saved me a lot of money

We contacted Alpine because the company that performed our home and sewer inspection (Morrison Plus Property Inspections) recommended them. We initially hired Alpine to install a main sewer clean out and hydrojet our main sewer line to clear roots. Along the way, they discovered a worse-than-expected root problem and that our cast iron pipes were in even worse shape than we thought due to extensive scaling and holes. A medium-sized job suddenly turned into a huge job. And this is where the team shined. The team—led by Walter—showed us the problems so that we knew we werent being swindled and walked us through every detail and the cost breakdown of what they proposed to do. They were transparent about their work and the cost, and they put our minds at ease every day (the job took 6 days). Considering the massive amount of money we had to spend, Walter made sure that all of our other plumbing concerns in the house were taken care of gratis or at a discount. Truly, I cannot recommend this company and Walter enough. Theyre thorough, fair, and friendly. Walter is the best!!

Burt (?) answered my call and was interested in helping me resolve my water heater issue. He advised that a tech would check my problem at no cost (what a relief). Vieto called and let me know that he was early and five minutes away (to my utter amazement and satisfaction). Vieto affirmed the issue with the controller but noted a leak and gave me options on repair or replacement. Vieto gave me a reasonable estimate and my house had hot water again in a few hours. Vieto was pleasant, knowledgeable, and courteous. Based upon my experience, Alpine has earned my trust, patronage, and recommendation.

My shower was draining slow. I had tried Drano and it helped a little but there was still a problem with it backing up. I had Alpine Plumbing come he ran the water for about 10 minutes and it didnt back up so he said I had a choice. He could snake it and Id be charged $75 or he could leave without snaking it and I wouldnt be charged anything. No service charge, nothing. I chose to have it snaked and in the end he pulled out quite a bit of hair so the problem was solved. I appreciate that he was willing to leave and not be paid. Thats honesty.

Alpine Plumbing and Rooter saves the day! The gentleman who answered the phone at 7am was so friendly, quick and efficient to get me on the books. He had a technician over to check out the leak under my sink within 5 hours and accommodated my work schedule. Bryan was also super friendly and knowledgeable, and saw the leak was coming from the garbage disposal. I didn’t have a chance to do price comparisons, but it seemed fair and I was just grateful to get it done quickly so there wasn’t too much water damage. Thank you, again! Initially, the job was to snake our main line. We knew there was a blockage from the sound coming from the shower drain. They had to come out twice. On the second time, they determined that our main line was offset with sewer line (via video camera). So, they replaced part of my main line and corrected the offset with the sewer line. Come to find out that my ceramic, sewer lines were suspect. The pipes were old and damaged. They offered to fix that too. But it was way too expensive. Had to go with another vendor to correct the sewer lines. Overall, satisfied. I would’ve loved to have them fix all my plumbing needs. But cost, was a factor. The guys that came out were friendly and professional.

Knowledgeable but ultimately not the plumber Im looking for. They charge too much and are too quick to recommend the most expensive solution rather than just replace the part that is broken. I want someone who treats me like a neighbor and gives me the right solution at a fair price.

The two men who came out were punctual and very nice. They explained everything to me. They looked at the inside of main drain with a camera and assessed its need for replacement due to age. They also checked other pipes and toilets to assess their condition.
