I couldn’t be happier with the incredible service we received! We used Home Depot’s service to install new kitchen countertops and a brand-new sink, and Matt and Wade from My Dad’s Plumbing were absolute pros. They arrived right on time, and Wade handled the sink installation with such care and expertise. He was not only super friendly and helpful but also incredibly considerate of our home throughout the process. His professionalism really stood out, and he even shared some fantastic tips that we truly appreciated. Everything works perfectly, and we’re beyond thrilled with the results. We highly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a couple of technicians come out to replace a faucet and they were looking for the general switch to turn off all the water for the whole rental property home. They looked briefly and couldn’t find it. They didn’t complete the job and asked me to reschedule the appointment. I stayed called the extension they gave me for Ms. Crawford for two days and it always went to voicemail. I sent out an email and a few voicemails and finally received a response. The next technician that came in Wade was great and experienced. He found where to turn off the water and started his work right away. He did replace the hot and cold valves also because they were frozen shut. Wade did an excellent job replacing the faucet and valves and did his job quickly.

This company was dispatched via Lowes to install a new toilet. When they arrived and had removed the old toilet they examined the toilet flange and said it needed to be replaced. I was presented with what I presumed was an estimate -- as all reputable plumbing companies provide. It was $1000. I assumed that the removal and installation of the flange could take several hours based on what I took to be the estimate. The plumber only took about 2.5 hours total time to remove old toilet , clean, remove and install flange and install new toilet. When it was time to pay, he said I owed an additional $1000 (I had already paid $251 through Handy Tech) because they price by the job not by the time. He said the $1000 he showed me was not an estimate. It was not clear from what he displayed on his pad that the job was a fixed price. Do not hire this company their practices are deceptive and the price they charged me is gouging. Over $600 an hour. Handy Technologies should drop this from their list ASAP to prevent further gouging. DO NOT hire this company. If Handy schedules them cancel the scheduling.

I had them come in on 6/7/22 for what I thought was going to result in a new garbage disposal. Turns out it was just jammed. My technician (sorry I forgot his name) treated me with dignity and respect, was real personable with me like family. Not only did he unjam my disposal for a smaller fee than quoted he also fixed a tube in my dishwasher free of charge. I would recommend My Dads Plumbing to friends, family, and anyone looking for a reliable company.

Inexperienced technician, however follows company policy and wants payment upfront no diagnostic but wants to collect travel callout fee upon driving to property first. And then leaves if approached to ask if pumbing work is first time job for training on the customers expense.young technician doesn’t what is the about other than ipad notes and is inflexible to perform any service other than collect travel fee not even to say hi befote payment. never use this company beware.read his reply do you believe what he says. just the fact this guy Serguo cones to the property not even says hello and demands payment and now they claim they have a procedure based in choice hone waranty. if by choice do ot hire if forced to use by waranty insurance as a provider choose someone else and recreate your claim. maybe they will loose their contract with the waranty companies if enough people report the same issue.

JB came to check out a kitchen sink clog and garbage disposal. He showed up on time and cleaned out the sink & garbage disposal and so it was draining and working. Very polite and respectful. Only downside is I waited for 5 business days for them to come out. Otherwise it is great working with them.

My dads plumbing was extremely professional and helpful with the guest bathroom leak we had. They were clean, helpful and got the job done in a very timely manner! I have recommended them to all friends and family. I cannot recommend them enough.

Ive used this business twice. Each time there has been a hugh disconnect between the office staff and the technicians. The address was input incorrectly both times causing confusion for the technicians and delays for the customer.2nd job was half done. There was additional work to be done needing additional parts. I tried for 3 weeks to get an update on the completion of the job. Promised several dates to return which never happened. I will need to find a reputable plumber to complete the job.

Dads Plumbing connected a new sink after a kitchen remodel. the workers were efficient and quite pleasant. We would be happy to hire My Dads Plumbing in the future.

These guys are the absolute best, I had probably nine hundred pounds of hair in my shower drain. They quoted me good prices, got it done In impeccable time, and cleaned everything up afterwards. They really are your dads plumbing business, they are there they never let you down and they never beg you for praise afterwards

I have a very horrible experience with your employee. He was very very rude. He was giving me an attitude when he was talking to me. He was extremely rude. I even told him why his giving me an attitude. It is very unprofessional and unacceptable. Sounded like he was also talking the same way to either his superior or coworker. Very very rude. When I was asking question, he was giving me a rude response. I am not a plumber thats why I hired you guys and when I asked a question, I ask him where is the problem, he just said there in a rude manner and just pointed the outside the kitchen and showing impatience over me. I ask him 3 times where is it and he still didnt want to show it to me specifically. I didnt bother to ask him cause he was already getting angry. He didnt specifically point to me the problem. He was fixing so many things how can I know which one he was referring to. Anyway this was just one occasion, but he was rude in so many occasions. Even in the end we were just talking, he was very rude. Im just trying to communicate but he was giving me an attitude and and being rude. Even told me dont interrupt me, he didnt want me to talk, wanted me to shutup. His response was extremely rude. We were just communicating, and there is a proper way to communicate. I dont know whats wrong. I was extremely respectful to them and even though he was rude I tried to still be respectful but this is very unprofessional.

I purchased toilets and paid for installation through Lowes who contracts with Angis and this is the company they scheduled us with. The contractor was a no-show and their customer service is an automated response system- very frustrating and unhelpful. I emailed and got a response that they had us scheduled for the day after (Im not buying it). After reading some of these reviews regarding toilet installation, I am SO happy they didnt show up as scheduled. I probably saved myself a lot of time, money, and stress. Do better!

Not transparent with charges, upcharging, double charging, unprofessional and very slow. Be careful of this company that claims to be client-centered. I used them in conjunction with my home warranty company when our water heater broke. Our water heater was in a very challenging place in the house. As soon as Clyde, Joe, and Sam (all same family owners) realized that this job would not be profitable for them because it was so challenging, they essentially got defensive, angry, and extremely unprofessional.They submitted a 1500$ bill to the warranty company, and also asked me for 675$. Everytime I asked them to break down the bill, Sam, Clyde or Joe got defensive and could not provide a consistent answer. The reason is because they were double charging the warranty company as well as myself.Clyde is extremely unprofessional- he purchased 120$ in copper parts and claimed to have left them in my water heater room. When he returned to finish the work the parts were not there and he could not complete the job with the recirculator pump placement. When I told him that it was not fair that I should have to pay for the recirculator pump that he did not even place, he yelled, got angry and threatened to put a lien on my house unless I paid. IT was scary enough that I thought about calling the cops.Do not use this company, if you have to, then watch the up-charges. The family is truly dysfunctional in running the business (Clyde saying one thing and the sons saying another) and they do not stand by their work.

I wanted to get my kitchen faucet changed & went through lowes. They came in to take notes , said they would be back and never came back or give me a follow up. They didn’t change my faucet or fix anything. Nor did I get my money back for installation that was never installed.

We had originally had them come in as an installer for some toilets we had purchased from a home improvement store. We had such an amazing and professional experience, we hired them to help with our drains, and will be using their services again soon!

I called on July 29 and they said someone would come the day after , no one contacted me called me or let me know either way. Sink was clogged for four days so I finally called to re-schedule and was treated with disrespect by Andy, and told me forget it they are not going to finish the job to request money back from Groupon. Had the toilet flange replaced. The plumber was professional and went out his way to get the right part for the job. Only concern was the price. Was charged 1500 for the flange job. I was desperate because I only have one toilet in my home. If 1500 is the average estimate in L.A. market then it is what it is. Question is was 1500 too much or just about right??? Curious.

Changed my appointment time day before, it is impossible to get anyone on the phone no one answers. Customer service was extremely rude over text/email. Newsflash customer service is extremely important with so many choices for plumbing companies. Had issue with my garbage disposal few days after installing said sorry not our problem but we can charge you to send someone out. ZERO STARS.

BEWARE of PRICE GOUGING $$$We recently purchased a new toilet from Lowes with the installation service provided through Home Advisor/Angi. MY Dads Plumbing out of San Dimas, CA, was the company assigned to do our installation.Sergio from MY Dads Plumbing showed up 4 hours late to do installation. After he pulled the toilet, he determined that the cast iron flange needed to be replaced, and the concrete slab would need to be chipped out and that it would cost $2800!!! The $2800 is in addition to the $338 we already paid through Lowes for the toilet installation and disposal of the old toilet. He said if we paid cash that he would only charge $2000, so he won’t have to pay tax. He refused to give me that price if I put it on my credit card or pay with a check. After asking him several times his hourly rate, he defiantly refused to answer, and told me that he gets paid by the job not by the hour. I also asked if I could speak to his boss, and he told me he was the boss (he is not the owner of MDP). Sergio said if we are not happy about the cost that we can contact another plumbing company to do the work, but we live in an older home with only one bathroom, so contacting another plumber for an estimate/installation could take days. We honestly had little choice, and had him replace the flange and install the new toilet.The job took 3 hours, total cost $2,000 (cash) + $338 (Lowes installation fee) = $2,338 ($779 an hour)!!! Please note that this price does not include the cost of the new toilet, and the cast iron flange cost approx. $57 on Grainger. Also, the average hourly rate for plumbers ranges from $45 to $200 an hour (*see links provided below).I hate the feeling of being taken advantage of when we were in a desperate situation. Our experience with MDP showed that this company operates using unethical price gouging tactics when their customers have little choice but to use their company. Then once you “ok” the work, they have you sign a 5 page “Release of Liability Agreement”. After our experience with My Dad’s Plumbing, my advice is, if you use the installation services through Lowes, do your research on the company that is assigned to do the job before they come out, because if the job goes beyond the scope of the installation you could be at the mercy of that company doing VERY COSTLY repairs at your home. In hindsight, I should have directly called a trustworthy plumber, and have them pick up the toilet and do the installation and replace flange, and avoid the Lowes/Home Advisor/Angi installation process.* PLUMBERS HOURLY RATES - Cost of Residential Plumbing Contractors in Los Angeles, California Range: $45 - $200 per hour (plus parts and materials). The plumber arrived on time. It took him 1/2 hour to efficiently replace the kitchen faucet and test it. No problems. Interaction was professional and friendly. Will call My Dads Plumbing in future for estimates.

I recently had Technician Justin from My Dads Plumbing do some plumbing repairs at my home. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and their is not a job too big for him. I recommend him to everyone with plumbing issues.

Friday evening before a holiday weekend, when guest are expected, isn’t that always the time that something goes wrong in your house? I reached under my sink to get something and found a mini flood. I immediately called My Dad’s Plumbing since I had used them in the past and they were amazing! They definitely did not disappoint this time either! Joe talked me through getting the water shut off to the sink and schedule an appointment first thing in the morning. It was nice seeing a familiar face, Leonard showed up who had done my previous repairs and fixed the issue quickly, efficiently and neatly! He had everything he needed on his truck including a replacement faucet! My Dad’s Plumbing is top notch in their work and their customer service!

I had them replace toilet through Lowes. Watch out for very deceptive pricing techniques and manipulation if you end up using them. I paid for haul away as well through Lowes. But they claimed it’s not covered and mentioned additional charges apply. They can haul away for free if I give good review online.

Mr. Otto and his team were amazing to deal with! They were all so kind, on time, clean, and respectful. 10/10 recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!

The job of replacing toilets was good, but they do the bare minimum. They didnt replace the service lines or silicone the bottom of the toilets. I payed extra to have everything hauled away, they took the old toilets but left all the other trash behind. Their service truck was just a old pickup truck. They were friendly and did good work

We used their service through Home Depot Installations. Leonard with My Dads Plumbing was great. I would never use Home Depot Installation services again. Horrible customer service. My Dads Plumbing, though, was GREAT. Leonard installed our sink and when there was a small leak the next day, they were there within 24 hours fixing it. The leak was due to an unrelated issue with the dishwasher hose being incorrectly installed (by the previous home owners). They fixed it free of charge. Would use them again.

My Dad’s Plumbing came highly recommended and they delivered! Had a plumbing leak that caused severe damage and they were on it right away. They listened and gave understandable commentary on what they were doing! Thank you, Joe and the crew at MDP!

Had MDP come and install new bathroom faucets. Upon arrival the old faucets had been installed haphazardly from previous owner. Everything was clearly explained and gave us the option on what to do. We agreed to have MDP proceed and do what needed to be done. We have an old home and getting under the sink was difficult on top of it being the hottest day of the year. Clyde and Joe both worked very hard to get it just right. They ‘ve not only done our faucets but also replaced our shower heads, faucets, etc.we were so happy with their honesty and work we recommended them to our mother when she had a slab leak. They were kind and respectful and did not try to take advantage of them due to their age like some plumbers may feel they can get away with. They had to cut through and remove wood flooring that had JUST been finished and were so careful to do minimal damage.I’d highly recommend their service.

Clyde was great! I got caught up dealing with my toddler and didnt hear the doorbell or my phone, but Clyde stuck around for 20 minutes anyway just to see if Id answer (so sorry!)I was having an issue with my faucet making loud hammering/rumbling noises, and Clyde was able to fix it in 5 minutes - It was a simple fix that anyone less honest probably couldve gotten away with charging me a boatload for. These guys are so helpful and honest, and Ill be sure to go with My Dads Plumbing again.

I purchased flooring from Lowe’s. Lowes auto-booked me a random date with this company, which was weird on Lowe’s part. So I called the company to reschedule for closer to the date that made sense. We scheduled it. And come that day of toilet install, I was curious what time they would be arriving. So I called the number I saved in my personal calendar invite for the day we scheduled…and they said they didn’t have me on the books and that the soonest they could come re-connect the toilet is a week from now. They tried to make me sound like I didn’t schedule, but I 100% know it was scheduled. I would have preferred to hear “we’re sorry we messed up, we can get you in as soon as possible”. I don’t want to listen to someone tell me I didn’t schedule, when I know I scheduled. I’m meticulous with my calendar. Why on earth would I randomly put your company’s phone # in the details of the calendar invite I sent for myself?

Awful plumber! Tried to charge an extra $300 plus $175 original charge to install a toilet after he removed the old one. After I said no Christian Left an oily spill on my driveway. Dad should be embarrassed! To Joe Otto “DAD”, I’m cleaning my driveway now if you would like to come over and help.

We’ve used my dads plumbing for years and have always been happy with their service! They go above and beyond and it shows they take pride in their work.

I got stuck with them as my installers through Lowes. I chose a time through the handy app and was scheduled 4 days after I bought my product from Lowes. I was called the morning of my appointment to reschedule to later that afternoon. I was then rescheduled again to the next day. When they did finally show up the guy installing my toilet said that my flange was broken and needed to be replaced for $400 more than what I paid Lowes. I happened to second-guess that and happen to have another plumber coming out to fix a whole separate issue that showed up in my house, when he took a look at the flange he said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and my toilet should have been installed. So Not only was I rescheduled three times but then they tried to upsell me and my toilet was not installed for the money I already paid. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!

Lowe’s (San Dimas) uses My Dad’s Plumbing for a contractor. They installed a bathroom faucet (fairly complicated) very quickly and extremely professional. They were approximately $50 cheaper than others that I called. Thank you
