Very, very happy with the work One Week Bath did for my family. The are super kind, they are talented, and they are a one-stop shop. They are licensed and bonded. Theyve got plumbing, electrical, contractors, billing, warehouse, and permitting all in-house. They show up when they say they will, and they do the job all the way through from day one. They take time before the project begins to orient you to what to expect, and when the project hits the proverbial whack-a-mole phase they are diligent in identifying and correcting whatever needs correcting. My bathroom looks like a spec house bathroom--attention to every detail. Its the work theyd do for their own home, literally. They know the products inside-out. Its premium work. You get what you pay for.
We recently (August, 2024) had our master bathroom remodeled. The major work was completed just a few days past the original estimate (9 days) and I believe that was far faster than any other contractors would have been. Workers were on time and fully committed every day, and took care to be minimally invasive. Workers were careful to protect things in the house that might get in the way and kindly cleaned up after each days work.Kiera and Doug were are design team and have been very responsive thee whole way. Along with Matt, they have tried hard to keep us happy. Our construction team was led by Raul Gomez with help from Lorenzo and Jose. All were great.I have been especially impressed by how smooth it has been to get things corrected when we felt it necessary. Javier and Diego have also been very easy to work with.
One Week Bath did a fantastic job on my bathroom remodel! David, Jose and Luis were so amazing to work with. I couldnt be more happier with how everything turned out! I highly recommend One Week Bath!
Frankie, Brian and Miguel did a fantastic job on my bathroom remodel in Culver City. They worked as a team to get everything accomplished to a quality of excellence. Their attention to detail is amazing. Im super happy with my new bathroom. Dave Hall
Short review...Don’t hesitate to hire One Week Bath for your remodel. Wife and I are completely thrilled with the finished product. Entire process (from design to budgeting to install) was so positive. Wife just about cried when she saw her new tub. She’s happy, I’m happy. Thanks, One Week Bath!Long review...As they say, Quality, Time, Cost...pick two. Im sure we might have found a cheaper option going with an independent remodeler, but not knowing anyone that we could trust, we figured that extra cost would pay dividends with the extra peace of mind we would receive with a complete turn key company. Or at least that’s what we hoped with One Week Bath, and thankfully our hopes were true! There was no funny business with delays or other horror stories you might hear about independent remodelers and renovation jobs. The cost was indeed a large pill to swallow, and our initial estimate was well above our target budget, but once we worked with the designer, Jenn, to remove some items, we were able to get closer to our comfort area. With Jenns advice, we chose to cut items we could easily add later (or at least, as much as possible). For example, our initial quote had a cabinet storage tower between the His & Her sinks. We ultimately cut this to help us get down to our budget. Jenn explained that was something we could add later if we so wished. Throughout the entire design and budgeting process Jenn was a pleasure to work with. When we would lob over asks, wishes, and dreams, Jenn would offer several options and solutions with varying degrees on how that might affect the total cost. Our crew lead, Armando, was friendly and professional. If we had any questions during the actual renovation, Armando was very quick to address our questions and concerns. He was always a quick text or phone call away. He never failed to give us a timely response throughout the entire process. And if he had any questions for us, he always framed his text as a “yes/no” question with an attached photo. This made remote decision making so easy. No detail was too small for Armando. He would ask us about where we would like the placement of towel racks, hooks, grab bars, etc. He would give us the standard/usual height, but would always follow up with “But we can mount it wherever you like it.” Again, making things super easy! Finally Id like to say we were completely thrilled with the final work. Adding a new shower and dropping in some cabinets is one thing, but paying close attention to the tiny details is what really separates OK-work and Great-work. For me to get a better sense of the craftsmanship level of our crew, I tried to pay particular attention to those key transition areas. For example, awkward cuts on the tile, or where the floor board needs to tuck under the cabinets. I’m glad to say these key details were not simply passed over but all those transitions were completely seamless. Armando and our crew did some fantastic work!My wife just about cried when she saw the finished tub area. So if shes happy, then Im happy...which is most important. Thank you, One Week Bath!
Great process. Great results. As owners of a small house with a single bathroom, the idea of being without our bathroom for a long period of time was a non-starter. Thankfully, a friend recommended One Week Bath and we are extremely happy with the results.Their planning and execution process is the gold standard of the construction industry. Before your project is even put on the calendar, they order everything theyll need to complete the job. Once they have ALL of the materials in their warehouse, they schedule your job and knock it out quickly and without cutting corners. Not cheap, but as the saying goes, Good, Fast, Cheap . . . Choose Two. Very happy with our choice. Would recommend to anyone.
I called Javier at customer service this morning regarding a small leak with my sink. He said he was available to come in about an hour. Javier showed up an hour later and fixed my sink. He got to us quickly as he knew we had to leave for an appointment. He was professional, listened to our concerns and addressed our issue. October 18, 2024.Dave and Annabella
Five years ago One Week Bath did a first class remodel of both our master bathroom and second floor bathroom. We were thrilled with their professionalism and the results. Both bathrooms still look great.Unfortunately, the bathtub in the second floor bathroom developed a hairline crack in the tub which resulted in leaks into our 1st floor bathroom whenever anyone took a bath. This was five years after installation. We contacted One Week Bath and despite the time since installation, One Week Bath determined that they would replace the cracked tub. This was a difficult job since tiling needed to be removed for the replacement. One Week Bath stands behind their people, their products and their installations. They value their customers and stand out as a company that cares about the quality that they deliver. They do it with great people and an ownership of their final products. We will use them again
Raul and Jose did a great job refurbishing our bathroom. They took their time doing it right, fixed imperfections and cleaned the work area every day. Nice job!
My husband and I had never embarked a remodeling project of any kind before so we were a bit nervous and cautious. We felt that the OWB experience was elegant from end to end. The first consultation with Ian was extremely helpful. He understood our needs and our way of decision making - he was a true professional and expert throughout the entire experience. Extremely responsive and creative when we needed his advice and guidance. He is also just a great guy! Then we met the crew when we started our project - Brandon, Junior, Brian and Hilario were TRUE professionals. What a crew! They showed up every day promptly at 7. They were polite, respectful and just wonderful in every way. I work from home and they were always proactive about excessive noise. They cleaned up after every day and kept things neat and tidy. They were super respectful and again, just a joy to have around. They truly made this project so enjoyable - even though lets be real, doing any work in your home is always tough! I truly value this company and their talent and would recommend them anytime. They are FANTASTIC and worth every penny we spent. We love our bathrooms and we our so happy we did this. Thank you so much OWB and esp our designer Ian and Brandon and his WONDERFUL Crew! I should also say the craftsmanship and bathrooms turned out BEAUTIFUL. We love them and could not be happier with the finished product.
The people I worked with were wonderful from design to finish and even post-finish for misc repairs/touch-ups. I loved that everything was decided on well in advance, and all of the supplies needed for the project arrived on Day 1. I felt the cost was high, the communication was lacking at times, and the job felt a little bit rushed toward the end. BUT I got a brand new bathroom in less than 2 weeks, and it seems that customer service will gladly come and do any sort of repairs when necessary. :)
5 star experience with One Week Bath. We bought our house knowing that 2 of the 3 bathrooms needed a full remodel. We started with our master bathroom and got a few estimates. Although One Week Bath wasn’t the cheapest, they seemed the most convenient for our busy schedules. Jenn (designer) came to our house and went over every single detail, brought samples and we designed our bathroom in about 4 hours. Armando and his team were super respectful and went above and beyond on cleaning up when they left each day. In 7 days we had our dream bathroom. The best part is that there are no surprises, the estimate is what you pay. Our floor boards were a mess and it added an extra day to the remodel, but we weren’t charged anything extra. Needless to say after we saved up more money for our next bathroom using One Week Bath was a no-brainer. We requested Jenn and Armando (our dream team) and everything went off perfectly. 5 days and a new bathroom. Not to mention they come with a “lifetime warranty”. Our first bathroom shower door had a crack and OWB came out and replaced it, no charge. After doing 2 bathrooms with OWB I couldn’t recommend them more!
One Week Bath is amazing, and I highly recommend them to anyone getting a bathroom or kitchen remodel. There are so many great qualities about this company!First, they bring a designer to your home with samples of tile, flooring, fixtures, so that you can choose what you like, and if youre not sure, they have samples of a few of your favorites sent to your home. I had already chosen shower tiles when the designer came, and they were wonderful about ordering it from the store where I shopped, so that store would get the sale.Next, they do not start the work until all materials have arrived at their shop to guarantee no delays...almost unheard of in construction.Once the crew arrives (I had Steve, Eric and Luis), they are fantastic. Friendly, cheerful, happy to explain anything and everything. And, always on time. Not even 5 minutes late, but exactly on time. They cover everything so theres a minimum of dust, and they clean up every single day before leaving. If anything goes wrong (and in construction, as in life, there are always little bumps in the road), they immediately point it out, take responsibility, and fix it. I love this, because lame excuses are so annoying. These people are responsible adults who I felt completely comfortable having in my home.Even when I made a change (asking for a larger shower pan than was on the original order), they simply smiled, made a call to order the larger shower pan, and proceeded cheerfully even though it was extra work for them, having to take out the pan theyd installed and get the new one. And, that order had to go through the VP of operations, who was out of town at a convention, so I assumed it would take several hours to hear back from him. But, we had an answer within 5 minutes.Oh, and as advertised, they finish the work in one week. No delays, no excuses, no problems. This is very impressive! One Week Baths customer service is among the best Ive ever seen in any industry, and certainly the very best in construction. The VP of Operations would come by every other day to check the progress of the work. The work, itself, is excellent. My new bathroom is gorgeous and comfortable. When the construction is completed, there is a walk-through. Mine was on a Tuesday at 7 AM, and it was also the first day Id been able to use the shower after the 48 hour period to let the grout dry. There were a few little fixes that I wanted (all undetectable before using the shower, so the timing is perfect to have the walk through after using the shower). Brian, who did my walk-through, asked if Id be home that afternoon, because they could send somebody then to do the fixes. He told me Elvin would call me later that day. Brian left at 7:30 AM. Elvin called at 7:45 AM. Diego, customer service rep, was at my house at 8:40 AM, and everything was fixed by 9:30 AM. This kind of service is incredible, and after hearing so many horror stories in construction (and having had a few myself), I was particularly happy with this. Diego assured me I could call anytime with even the smallest issue, and that my bathroom has a lifetime guarantee. Many people have noted that One Week Bath is a bit higher priced than some other bids they received, and that was true for me, too, but they were worth every penny. The cheerful, professional attitude, the work, the follow-up - these are all a great value. I have told my friends who are thinking about bathroom remodels that this is the company to go to. And, I would use them again anytime I needed this kind of work.
I recommend one week bath without reservation! From start to finish this experience has exceeded my expectations! The process makes remodeling your bathroom a pleasure and they have a system which make the whole thing seamless. Jenn made the design consultation, which took place in my dining room, enjoyable as she patiently helped me pick out and customize my new bathroom. I cant say enough about the courtesy and professionalism of Robert and his crew as they transformed my bathroom before my eyes. It really only took a week, once construction began, a they own every step of the process. Thanks again for this amazing experience!Andy
We had our bathroom remodel done byOne Week Bath in 2012 they listened to our ideas and created a Showplace! Every guest that comes out of our bathroom is so excited with the design and the details! And not only do they do exceptional work they stand behind their work with a LIFETIME guarantee!Anytime we call Brian he sends someone out the same week! Last month our toilet was flushing strange and since we had our plumber out to change filters in our kitchen we ask him to take a look at the toilet , our plumber said we have to replace the toilet for $800.00 ! I called Brian at One week BathAnd the very next day he had two of his men out to our home and they fixed it in no time! And he told me that if they couldnt fix they would replace it no charge! One week Bath has the Best Life Time Guarantee in the Business And Really do honor the Guarantee!!!Wish there were more Stars to bestow!!!
After having both their bathrooms remodeled by OWB, our friends highly recommended OWB. We hired them, and could not have been happier with the results. OWB lives by its word. Everything was handled in a very professional manner. Workers were on time, courteous and efficient. Communication was top-notch. And the results were beyond my expectations. These are true craftsmen. Highly recommended!
OWB and staff provide top notch service! They are ever-respectful of your home and your requirements throughout and BEYOND the project! We have had three projects BEAUTIFULLY completed AND within the promised time frame! OWB continues to follow up over the years, and just keep in touch....because that is who they are!Recently, we had a minor issue with a light fixture, contacted OWB, and someone came out within a couple of days. Its worth noting that the light fixture in question was installed 10 years ago!!This is a VERY FINE example of how to do business, today and ALWAYS!Good business is based on good, solid relationships, and thats how OWB rolls! Ive got mad love for this company and their team!
Exelent services quality work, 7 days finished, respet, honest workers . I recommend this exellent company.
One Week Bath is a wonderful company to work with. We contracted with them for a bathroom remodel and couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the team was professional, courteous, and incredibly skilled. Daryl and Kiera took the time to walk us through the design process and were very responsive to every question we had afterward. The construction team was incredible! Frankie and his team, Julio and Brian, were very professional and super nice, and the quality of their workmanship was outstanding. The tiles are perfectly aligned, the fixtures are installed flawlessly, the attention to detail is superior, and the overall design is both modern and functional. They also tried to keep the work area clean and minimize disruption to our daily routine, which we greatly appreciated.Communication was excellent throughout the project. We were kept informed throughout the process and any potential issues were addressed promptly and effectively. A week post-project, Javier did the walkthrough to ensure that every minor adjustment we wanted to make would be addressed. What a great group of professionals to work with!!!We highly recommend One Week Bath for anyone looking to remodel their bathroom. Their expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly top-notch. Thank you for transforming our bathroom into a beautiful and relaxing space!
We loved working with OneWeekBath. Our priorities were good quality, great service, reasonable price (and least possible disruption). OneWeekBath met all of our goals and more. We love our bathroom. They were efficient, on target and exceeded our expectations. I refer them to all my friends and family!
Spectacular customer service as always, even 6 years after my bathroom was done! Do not hesitate to choose them for your next project. They never disappoint. These days that is a treasure.
Incredible customer service. They came out and fixed some tiny issues I had with fixtures 2 years after the bathrooms ( I did two) went in. Highly recommend OWB!
Our bathrooms were long past their expiration date! Both were still original to 1951. We have just completed the remodel of both our Master & Guest bathrooms with One Week Bath. We are thrilled with the finished product and highly recommend this Company. We had a great experience and would definitely use them again. The initial Design meeting with Ian, Head Designer & Kiera, Design Coordinator was so smooth, they listened to ideas we had, brought plenty of samples, made suggestions, were not pushy, thought of every little detail that needed to be selected. Then, because of this great Business Model (Deposit taken, materials ordered and stored until every single part has arrived) and their good communication before the start date, we knew what to expect as the construction began. The team for each bathroom (same crew every day and all are employed by One Week, no subs) arrived on time, were professional, very skilled at their specialty, friendly and super neat, cleaning up well daily before leaving. One Week had a Lead crew member for each bathroom, then has a Head of Construction, Brian and a Post Production Manager, Junior to handle any detail or issue that may arise during the construction or after the completion. It was a very stress free remodel and the bathrooms are beautiful! One Week Bath delivered as promised, excellent quality, beauty and on time!
We did a MAJOR master bathroom renovation last summer which included moving plumbing, moving doors, and repositioning basically every fixture in the bathroom. There are certainly less expensive contractors out there, but we found that we just didnt trust anyone else to execute not only the level of complicated plumbing repositioning, but the details that really matter to make a luxury bathroom.First, the design. We had an idea of what we wanted, but Ian and Kiera literally sat with us, sometimes for hours, and walked through every. Single. Detail. Every fixture, every tile, every color of every surface. There are details that would never in a million years have crossed my mind if we hadnt had the OWB design team behind us. For me, the design portion of the process already sets OWB apart and makes them worth it. You can spend your time and money realizing you forgot something, running to Home Depot three times a day, and frantically searching Pinterest for a shower niche pattern that doesnt look awful with the tile youve already chosen. Or you can sit down with OWB and knock everything out and get your dream bathroom right the first time. Then the actual work. David and his crew were amazing. They showed up when they said they would every day, and they worked quickly. They were always polite, never left a mess, never disappeared for hours without any explanation, and at the end of each work day, David would let me know they were about to head out and offer to show me everything they had finished that day, answer any questions, and explain the next step. I have never had a contractor do this, ever!I could tell that the crew actually cared about giving us exactly what we envisioned. At one point there was a miscommunication about how we wanted the tiling pattern in the shower, and unfortunately the guys had already cut and positioned the tile, put in the spacers and everything, before we noticed. I felt so terrible asking David to change it, because I knew it was a lot of work to start over, but he made a quick phone call, confirmed they had enough supplies to fix it, and told me not to worry, that he was going to make it right and give us what we wanted.Overall, amazing company, skilled designers and workers. Yes, we paid a little more than we could have, but I know it was well worth it to get exactly what we envisioned. I would work with OWB again and again.
We couldnt be happier with One Week Bath. They quoted us 10-days to complete our bathroom and after that time they would start giving us our money back. Of course they were efficient and finished. Their designer came to our house and decorated for us (with our help of course). We didnt have to go anywhere to pick out our material. They did it all right from our home. The staff working at our home were amazing and so clean. We couldnt be happier. Definitely ask to work with Brian, Armando or Elvin. They are so professional and also awesome. If i can avoid working with a contractor ever again then i would. I wish more contractors would develop this unique concept. Ive been begging them to expand to more then just bathroom and kitchens because remodeling has been miserable until we met One Week Bath. This was so easy and completely worth every penny.
Cannot recommend these guys highly enough! Matt and the entire team at One Week Bath are complete professionals: knowledgeable, thoughtful in helping to choose materials, on time, responsive. They remodeled my master bathroom while I was 7 mos pregnant during a pandemic, and I was very impressed with how clean and careful the entire crew was. Job was done on budget and on schedule- I’d definitely recommend them, and use them again for myself in the future.
I live in a condo complex so one of the main reasons I was interested in One Week Bath was their expedited project scheduling. My project coordinator estimated the job would take 7 days and it took exactly that. I and my HOA were very pleased. Additionally, the process with their team couldnt have been smoother or more transparent. Everything ran like clockwork and the project costs were exactly what we had initially agreed upon. The installer crew was punctual, kind, and courteous, and did beautiful, careful work. All the permitting was hassle-free and my new bathroom looks fantastic. Every time I go in there I smile. Thanks!
We were referred by friends who have used One Week Bath two separate times. Both of their experiences were stellar. Everything was painless from planning and selecting materials to the actual construction and follow-up details. I have two more baths to remodel, and will definitely look to One Week Bath for those projects. Thank you!
One Week Bath did an entire remodel on our bathroom, replacing a tub with a large tiled shower stall. They began work on time, completed on time, had the same professional crew on the job every day. Super clean up when the job was completed. Great value. Highly recommend to our neighbors.
We just finished partial bath remodel with One Week Bath. We replaced our tub/shower combination with a walk-in shower. Im so happy and impressed by One Week Bath! The whole process was so easy. They bend over backwards to make sure were happy. They listen to what we wanted. They come up with helpful ideas without being being pushy one way or another. The team that does the work is thoughtful, considerate and beyond careful in the work and our home. Definitely worth it!!!
Just had 2 bathrooms remodeled with One Week Bath. Very happy with the work, the professionalism and clean up. My condo neighbors commented on what conscientious workmen they were. Great job!!
One Week Bath made my bathroom remodel so quick and easy. All their workman are employees, not subs. That means complete accountability-absolutely vital with remodeling projects. BrIan, Javier and his team were amazing. They arrived on time every morning, worked 12 hours and cleaned up at the end of the day. Krystal, Kristen and Dana were just a phone call away with creative, product and scheduling support. I couldn’t be more pleased with my new bathroom. Kudos to the entire One Week Bath crew.
Recently Matt came out and did a in-home design consultation with my Fiance to remodel our old master bath. It was built in the 70s and is in major need of an overhaul. Matt and the team at OWB have been great to work with and we are looking to move forward with the remodel around the end of the year. I loved that they walk you through every step and every option to help you design your bathroom. And of course having a finalized guaranteed price provides big time peace of mind. If you are looking to have a nice bathroom or kitchen built I would definitely call Matt and his team!
I cant recommend these folks highly enough. Everything, and I mean everything, went exactly as planned. Two bathrooms in less than 10 days. NO trips to Home Depot or anywhere else. The guys who did the work were professional, friendly, and highly attentive to detail. LOVE OUR BATHROOMS.
I’m not the best photographer so before and after photos wouldn’t do justice to the work that Brian, Armando, Elvin and their crew did on my home! On top of their beautiful craftsmanship, Brian, Armando and Elvin have been so great to work with. They’re: 1) responsive 2) professional 3) personable 4) have great attitudes 5) most important, I trusted them in my home even when I wasn’t there. That type of service is hard to find. They redid all of the bathrooms and the kitchen in my condo - massive work. Home improvement is always stressful but they made it manageable. It was a rewarding process. Because of the work they did, I’ve recommended One Week Bath, and these guys specifically, to any friends and family that have needed work done in their homes! This is an emphatic recommendation!
We decided to remodel all 3 bathrooms at once, a very daunting prospect. I phoned OWB and Brian came to our home with his binder and samples and we sat down for 3 hours going over what we wanted. The work started after all the materials were obtained. OWB did all three bathrooms in about 4 weeks time. Every worker that came into my home was polite and thorough in their work, every day when the left they cleaned up all their tools and kept the work area tidy. When a few issues arose, Brian came to the house and checked job progress as well as making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. They even removed a bathtub and made a beautiful shower for us that is very easy to step into. After a year we had a small grout issue and Brian sent Oscar out immediately to fix it. Then a year later, we had another small grout problem in the powder room shower and Brian sent Oscar who redid the entire shower floors grout - both times with no charge to us at all. I felt that was so appropriate and professional. Thank you One Week Bath!
My sister hired OWB to do a work on her condo - practically gutting the place for remodelling. When I visited, it looked absolutely gorgeous. I house sat for a bit of the construction and was very impressed with Brian, Elvin, and Armando. All of them were incredibly flexible, responsive, and highly skilled. I live in Chicago and wish I had a crew this talented out here for my reno work.
I dont normally write poor reviews, but this is an exception, as I dont want others to go through what for me has been one of the worst experiences of my life.Approximately 3 years ago, my husband and I hired One Week Bath to not only remodel 2 baths and a kitchen, but do some interior work as well, on my 1,395 square foot childhood home. Three years later, the job is still not done correctly.Although there have been multiple problems, Im going to concentrate on the worst one - the interior paint job. After paying the One Week Bath tens of thousands of dollars, a subcontractor painter was hired to paint parts of the interior of the house. He could not only not get the job done correctly the first time, but was sent back approximately 5 more times to try, each time just trying to cover up the last mistake. After all of the attempts, much of the paint peels off with a fingernail, the paint on the cabinetry is still tacky, so I cant put anything on many shelves, and the house still smells of paint. There are also long lines on the cabinets that look like scratches, but Im told they are shrinkage lines, due to painting them incorrectly. The owner finally came out to review the situation and basically agreed that it was done incorrectly. He said for a small window of time that the company was doing this kind of work. He indicated they no longer do this work, as it was too much for them to handle. So basically, we were one the their practice clients. One of the first things the owner asked me was what we wanted him to do - apparently he had very little knowledge of a very serious problem in his own company, that had been going on for years. Several weeks later he agreed to send out a new painter to see about repairing this mess; finally we thought this nightmare would soon be over. We were asked how we felt about the new painter, and we told the owner we would be thrilled to have him do the job, as he really seemed competent. After more emails with the owner back and forth, ultimately, he would not send out the new painter to do the work, as he felt he was too expensive. I explained to him that I felt the definition of expensive was paying his company a great deal of money, only to be left with a real mess in our home.To wrap things up, his first solution was to send the original painter back. I told him there was no way this man was going to try a seventh time. His second solution was for his own people to redo the painting work (remember, he said they stopped doing this type of work because it was too hard). His last solution was to send other painting contractors out to give him a bid - hoping to get someone else cheap again I assume, that would probably make things worse. All we asked from the owner after 3 years is that he complete the job he was paid to do, by someone who knows what they are doing. We dont feel that is asking too much, but his last response to us was basically that was not an option. Unfortunately now, we will need to engage an attorney or arbitrator.
My wife used OWB for her office 4 years ago and it was as advertised, on time, on budget, and quality work... so it was easy for us to do 3 bathrooms at one time in our home, with OWB this year. There is a very good reason they have been in business for so long... they are focused. We were lucky to get Frank and his crew. With any remodel, there were minor glitches and they worked through them all. If you want a company that delivers a quality bathroom, on time, on budget, with great people - look no further. Its a logistical puzzle that they have mastered.
In 2015 we had both of our bathrooms remodeled by One Week Bath. Outstanding workmanship and team effort completed our bathrooms in approximately 13 days (2 bathrooms). Even so, we were somewhat skeptical believing once a customer, always a customer no matter how many years we keep this house. Five years later OWB were true to their word. A huge asset to the team is Diego...a top notch tile cutter (of all kinds), and grout repair. He arrived early, wore a mask, was respectful of our space during Covid, and did an awesome job. One wouldnt even know he was here. NO mess left behind. We would highly recommend One Week Bath.
Infuriating. I called the company four times to inquire about remodeling a master bathroom. No one was able to return any of my calls and move the process forward. I spoke with four different-- very nice-- receptionists, who collected a lot of data but were unable to put me in touch with anyone even remotely connected to the actual work. Its telling when a construction company is essentially unreachable at the beginning of the process when they stand to get new business. Telling and fortunate, actually. Its preferable to find out a potential vendor is dysfunctional before embarking in a relationship with them.
I have always had the challenge of balancing the cost of home improvement with the quality that I want in my home. I spoke with a few contractors and went through hours of research on materials, design, etc. to have my secondary bathroom remodeled. I spoke with Dave at OWB a few times; he was very patient and informative, and I finally made the decision to use them. I will say that OWB isnt the lowest priced but they were pretty much in line with other quotes I received. And I really couldnt wait out two to three weeks to have the job finished. It was wonderful to have Dave and Kiera, the designer, sit with me for basically as long as it took to pick out and coordinate EVERYTHING. I wanted to have my 20 year old builder standard bathroom updated and made more accessible for my brother who has mobility issues. Brian K., the supervisor, was so nice to work with and he gave me some terrific feed back and some good suggestions for helping to turn my shower/tub combo into a walk in shower. Brian stepped up when an issue occured concerning the size of the shower and placement of the toilet, and dealt with it in a most professional, responsible and considerate manner. I was also very pleased with the crew, Steve, Sep and Danny; their craftsmanship was outstanding and Steves feedback and communication during the process was very helpful. I love my new bathroom and would highly recommend OWB.
Since they finished our bathroom remodel six months ago, I have not STOPPED recommending OWB to friends! This is a unique renovation concept, and my husband and I are shaking our heads wondering why had no one thought of this before?? We remodeled our master bath after a pipe burst in the floor two years ago. The remodel itself took 7 months. 7 months of my floors covered in tape and dust. 7 months of having to walk downstairs (pregnant) to use the bathroom or brush my teeth. 7 months of having to open the door to stranger subcontractors day in and day out. The job went over time. Over budget. And whats more? The contractor bailed on the final inspection and wont return messages when items in the bath broke! It was a traumatic experience we vowed never to repeat again.Enter OWB. They have an entire renovation team in-house, so when you book your time with OWB, they are committed to your job full time. It is a seamless process from the design meeting to the contractor to the crew to the post-job customer service. You dont have to search online and interview a bunch of different people, and you dont have to wait for your job to progress because a subcontractor electrician/plumber/tiler/etc. is delyaed on another job!We now have two kids under the age of 2, and it was ESSENTIAL that disruptions to our daily activities (i.e. noise during naps, etc.) was low. To have a job completed in a little over a week versus over half a year was PRICELESS! What is more: the OWB team is small. That means the same 4-5 team members are in your home working full time. That is really important safety consideration: normally renovations are a hotbed for home robberies because doors are left open, there are different teams coming and going, and there is little to no accountability! The OWB team is small, honest, and was incredibly sensitive to the schedule and needs of our familys home life. We knew exactly who was in our home and what they were doing. The three words that come to mind to describe OWB are Craftmanship, Accountabiity, Customer Service. I am so thrilled I used them!UPDATE: 6 months after completion, I contacted OWB when my husband spilled and stained our new white countertops! I was really just hoping for a recommendation since the damage was our fault, but OWB took care of it themselves immediately! They take such pride in their work and customer service. I will use them for ALL of my future home renovations! Thank you OWB!
Since OWB remodeled one of my bathrooms last year, this review is long overdue. The funny thing is that it took me this long to realize how good they were. This bathroom remodel was the first project at my house. Since then, Ive replaced windows, remodeled kitchen, removed popcorn ceiling and painted the house. For each of these projects, I used a different contractor who specialized in what they do. Whats the point you may ask? The point is that I experienced how these contractors work to really know who were good. OWB came out on top.First, you hope the person who meets with you knows his stuff and not some guy who tells you, No problem. We do everything. We do what you want. We give you a good price. OWB sent the owner (Matt) and a designer (Jennifer). Matt, Jennifer, and I sat in my kitchen for 5 hours going over every option imaginable from shower heads to floor tiles. I hadnt had a meeting this long since I had an office job and I wanted to kick them out after 3 hours. Im glad I didnt because every little detail affected the final outcome of the bathroom. At the end of the session, they printed out an agreement for me to sign. Think about this. The two of them spent 5 hours at my house practically designed my bathroom with every nook and cranny in mind and I could have sent them home without giving them job. How many contractors you know are willing to invest this much in a client upfront?Second, the people who do the work are not the same people who sold you the job. Thats a given. The question then becomes how well the workers execute the vision and whether they uphold to the same standards promised by the owner. Of course, right? Wrong. The guys who painted my house forgot to paint part of the chimney; they had to come back and finish the job. The guys who did my kitchen didnt even bother to put a transition between the kitchen floor and the living room floor; they might as well put safety barricade tape on the gap because thats all I can see every time I go in and out of my kitchen. As for my OWB bathroom, flawless! It was like somebody took a picture from a Restoration Hardware catalogue and made it come to life.In terms of pricing, OWB is not the cheapest as other reviewers have noted. Just know that you get what you pay for. There is fried chicken and then there is Thomas Kellers fried chicken.I could keep going but I think this should give anyone an idea of how these guys operate. I have 1.5 more bathrooms that need to done as some point and OWB is who I will call again. I think thats the best review of all.
