On April 21, 2023, I had the pleasure to meet Jake (a demonstrator) from California Energy Contractors at the California Poppy Festival. It was educational and quick. He helped me schedule an appointment with Patrick, that would introduce me to a new world of windows and exterior cool walling paint. Patrick came to my home on time and professional for pricing and preparations. Patrick was polite and understanding. He also offered many different payment plans and down payment options. After the sale was completed, I was introduced to the foreman for my paint, Abraham and for the windows, Julio. The crew that came to my home were honest, safe, great prep work, and quiet. It was wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone.

I had California Energy Contractors replace my windows and sliding glass doors at my home in Lake Isabella. We are very happy with the end result. The job was completed in a timely matter. The windows reflect the heat from the house amazingly. Everything works as promised.I recommend California Energy Contractors for your next project.

At first everything went great. The roof was done quickly and it seemed like they did an excellent job. The first big rain, water was pouring in through where the heater units and water heater vents are. I mean pouring. The vents were not sealed at all. We went up on the roof and you could see plywood!!! So now we paid $20,000 for a new roof that flooded our laundry room, flooded our heater unit, the plywood is spongy and we sealed it ourselves!!! Its been a year and weve talked to the contractor multiple times and they are going to get back to us. Im so disappointed. To pay that much (and you know they got their money) and never came back to fix their mistakes makes us so sad we used this company. Id say if you use them dont trust that they will follow through. Check their work before they leave. We are looking into getting legal help. We absolutely did not want this headache. They never offered to fix the water damage to our house either. Flooring, drywall, cabinets etc.. its such a mess. I caution using this company.

We had our house texcoted by CA Energy Contractors about 15 years ago. Most of the texcote on our house has held up pretty well all these years with the exception of a few spots where the house and the ground meet. Alex from the company informed us that something called efflorescence was coming through the stucco and was causing the texcote to bubble in these areas. Alex kindly let us know that there would be no charge to fix these areas, since we are good customers of theirs. He was also able to send a piece of the texcote coming off to his lab to prepare a texcote paint that color matched the area that needed repair. His painter did a great job and everything is looking good again. Amazing service by both Alex and his painter

The whole process was smooth and the painting crew did a fantastic job. They were very courteous and Patrick and Alex provide excellent customer service. Their response time was great and I appreciate their flexibility with our schedule.

I got my house painted through this company and they did an amazing job. They were attentive to detail, kind, quick and thorough. My house before had a lot of rough noticiable patches on the outside that the previous owner did and they smoothed it out and made the outside look brand new! They did the whole house in two days and I was very impressed. So far we have been through rain and sunny days and the paint has not chipped or damaged at all.Thank you guys for everything you did, I get a lot of compliments!!

I came across California Energy Contractors at the Home and Garden show. They came to do an estimate for roof and windows. The salesman was not too pushy. After getting a few more quotes, California Energy was the least expensive for essentially the same product. Installation was quick and done well. And anytime I needed to call the office, Stormie was very professional. I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

3/5/2021 - Im updating my previous review and the number of stars given to California Energy Contractors. Steve - one of the owners - called to help resolve the issue. He went over the window mixup and explained how California Energy Contractors has expedited the replacement request. He let us know when the window would be received and when it would be installed. So far, I am very impressed with his customer service and customer focus. Further, I am very satisfied with Steves professionalism and candor. Once the window is installed, I will update this review one last time; assuming all goes well my final rating will be 5 stars.3/1/2021 - This review in on the customer service once the windows are installed. I had all of the windows on my property replaced by them and Ive been generally happy with the results. A few weeks ago, one of the front windows broke - children where playing with a basketball and bam. My 72 year old father called to company to file a claim. Jake spoke with him over the phone, took the information, and placed the order.Fast forward 3 weeks later, a tech from Anlin windows shows up to the house to install the window. However, the window that was ordered was incorrect. The Anlin tech explained that each of the windows has a serial number. That California Energy Contractors should have asked my father for that information, but they didnt. My issue isnt with the fact that a mistake was made, Im frustrated with the fact that when I called Jake to discuss next steps he placed the blame on a 72 year old man. Jake didnt take any of the responsibility for ordering the wrong window. Im not saying Jake is 100% at fault, but at someone who does this for a living there are simple checks that could have been don to avoid any mixups.If you can, I would suggest either looking for a different company to do business or AVOID working with Jake M.

My name is Joel, I’m a USAF veteran and I ordered 9 windows from California energy contractors which supposed to cost $12,00.00 & they required $ 200.00 deposit. My sale reps were Alex & Johnny and showed me the 4 big windows, 2 in the back living room, 2 in the office and spare bedroom that has a louvre that pulls up and down so that when it’s breezy you can tilt the louvre forward and slide it out. The ones that hey install slide side to side. The initial date that they came and we signed the contract was 04/19/16, they didn’t install until 07/08/16. I worked as a Rehab. Therapist for home health & I covered the whole Antelope Valley area, their crew installed the windows without my presence & they did a wonderful job with the exception of installing the wrong 4 big windows in which I indicated on the paperwork. I called the company and left several messages but weeks has gone by & they took their time to call back & respond. Listed below are the grievances that I address to them:1.) Invoice weren’t clear how much each item cost, what model or serial no. each windows represent since I don’t work for their company, naturally I don’t know what “ xo” meant.2.) I was never informed that the windows were ready for my inspection to make sure it’s the right windows that were supposed to be installed…plus the fact that it took close to 3 months for the completion of the job.3.) I got curious how much those windows were so I went to Home Depot & ask around and for the largest windows that’s double pane with argon gas insulation the customize windows will, only cost no more than $ 350.00 to $ 400.00 & the smallest one comparable to mine was between $ 75.00 to $ 100.004.) These guys were playing me & has told me to talk to Jacob, then talk to Alex, then talk to Johnny until I called CBS investigative people & threatened them that I’ll spread their unprofessionalism & spread to social media in which I’m doing now so that no other clients will experience what I endured with these people.5.) Lastly it’s hard enough to work hard, lifting heavy stroke patients and travel house to house then be burdened with this problem..#CaliforniaEnergyContractors#Unprofessionalcontractors#deceptivepractices#notcustomerserviceoriented

UPDATE: Everything is done now (roof/windows/paint) and my home looks fantastic thanks to California Energy Contractors and their outstanding crews! Each phase went smoothly and with the least amount of disruption (considering my roof was tear-off/new roof.) Each of the crews was professional, friendly and courteous, responsive, and definitely know their stuff judging by the quality of the work done. When each phase was completed, the clean up was thorough leaving things as if they had never been there...except for the vastly improved appearance of my home.I am posting before and after pictures to show what a huge difference the upgrades made. I would absolutely recommend California Energy Contractors without hesitation, and would call them again if I needed additional work done. Great customer service, extremely responsive and accommodating which I particularly appreciate as I was dealing with an injury throughout the process. The photos dont do it justice. Now, every time I return home and see my house, it makes me happy.Thanks to everyone at CEC for transforming my home from the bland house on the corner to the fabulous blue house on the corner!!!So far, so good with California Energy Contractors. I just had a new roof (tear off) installed and it looks great! The crew was efficient, professional, on time, and thorough. They know their stuff. At the end of each day, they cleaned up completely and left materials/equipment neatly stored out of the way for the next days work. Who knew you could get so excited abouta roof?!??! CEC is installing vinyl dual-pane windows next, and then exterior paint. Everyone at CEC has been great, responsive, and seems genuninely concerned that my experience is a good one. Patrick was my first contact (and the reason I went with CEC over other companies.) No push sales techniques - just a willingness to work with me and my budget and still provide quality service. Alan and his roofing crew were outstanding, and Alex (paint) came out to discuss that phase and what to keep in mind when choosing a color (great advice given.) I have no reason to expect anything but satisfaction with the window installation and paint. Cant wait to see my home when it is done! I will post before/after pictures when everything is complete. I highly recommend California Energy Contractors for your home upgrades.

After detailed analysis on windows manufacturers and installers we decided to go with California Energy Contractors. Their windows are highly rated (Anlin) , the company sells and installs, the price is very competitive. Patrick from sales is highly professional and experienced.The installation was done one month in advance of schedule. A team of 8 workers did the job in less than 1 day, under supervision of the project supervisor. The result is excellent. Every little detail was executed to perfection. In all my life experience on large projects, this one is on the top.The next project with California Energy Contractors was the exterior painting with their special cool paint. Great job again to the last detail. And the paint warranty is for life!

I have had three products purchased thru California Energy and I want to give each one a separate review. This is for the roof. Ive had thru a few winters now and it is just like new with high winds and punishing downpours its been an incredible product and the installation and clean up were incredible! Id give it 10 stars if I could.

Hey everyone, I highly recommend California energy contractors Alex was so great . They replaced all my windows and sliding doors in my house for me and my wife we just purchased the house last year they came out gave us a good estimate. We approved the work they made the process, very smooth and easy The work that was done was done, professionally clean and on time I highly recommend them for any repairs or new installations you will need for your home.

We had been looking for a company that could supply us a special door. We wanted a built in doggie door. I looked for several years after someone tried to pry open a sliding door to break in. We went to the LA Fair and as we always do went to every building and checked out every vendor. Found California Energy Contractors in their spot. A guy named Frank stopped me and asked if we thought of new windows. I told him what I have been searching for for many years. I was about to walk away before he said well your in luck come check this out. He had exactly what I wanted. I ordered one on the spot. Was called a day or so later to schedule measurements. Then another guy cam and did precise measurements. In about 6 weeks later they called and we got it installed. GREAT JOB. Now the struggle to get my dogs un afraid of the new door. Oh well long story short, we do plan to call them when we are ready to replace all the rest of the windows. Thanks Frank

Tried this company out. Sales and contracts went well. Roof removal was to be while we were out of town on business. Install would be done about the time we were to return. While we were away first day we were called and told that schedule could be moved up. Great right? Roof was completed while we were away. Sweet! So, daughter calls, dog was let out. Ok. It happens. Hear theres a mess. Get home next day, drive up, roof looks great. Get into the house and it seems the roofers spent all of 5 minutes picking up. Debris all around house. Not horrible but the nails!! Everywhere!! Pulled roofing nail out of my truck tire next day...yes it was flat. There are gaps in our roof boards. Its an older house. Garage was supposed to have some sheeting put up to at least capture some of the debris. I spent a week cleaning the whole garage. About 2+ gallons of debris and nails. Have a nice roof and bitter taste from dealing with this company. I will find a different roofer for our other houses in the future and not recommend them.

I met this company at the fair. Friendly and helpful. Said somebody would call and talk about the product. For me it was the Coolwall Texcoat Paint. A rep came and sold me. Although it is more expensive than a regular paint job, I wanted the benefits and guarantee of a long lasting paint. After I signed up, there was basically NO waiting. Alex the contractor came and inspected and measured. He was super. The crew showed up early and prepped for a couple days. They did a super job. Then they painted and CLEANED UP. I was impressed. My house looks great. There is no mess, maybe some paint chips in the dirt from the power wash! I am pleased. I am satisfied. I am happy with the whole experience. I like to admire my house every time I go out. I recommend them. Yeah!

Terrible experience. Unprofessional installers. Unresponsive management. Sales guy--Vitaly--called me up just to yell at me for texting him that this wasnt anywhere near what they promised and they need to double time the repair on a door that was allowing water to leak indoors. Do not recommend.

The best place to work and have upgrade your home!
