They do NOT serve all of LA County. They do NOT serve Torrance. They are NOT local owned --- they are owned by a huge corporate giant and has receptionists that have no idea what they are doing.Wasted 5 hours of my time, texted them photos, waited on them -- just for them to say they cannot service my area.They could not tell me that when I first called?Shady as it gets, and obviously lies to get calls for their benefit and wastes peoples time.Stay far away, very shady from the get go and youll regret it.

Excellent service. Our fireplace needed repair and Fireplace Solutions were very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. Don arrived promptly, was friendly, knowledgeable and not only fixed the issue but gave the fireplace a good clean too. He also clearly explained what the issue was. Provided a thorough and professional report of findings from the chimney inspection. Explained in detail all of the recommended repairs and answered all my questions. The technicians were courteous, keep in communication on progress and were very attentive to protecting the work area inside and outside our home. They showed me pictures of the completed work. They did a great job cleaning up afterward. Work was completed as per the contract and on time. I recommend them if you just need your chimney cleaned or if more extensive work is needed.

This is my first time needing someone to check my fireplace and WOW what an amazing team. Heather answered all of our questions from the start, was super responsive, and never missed a beat. Our tech, Don was equally fantastic and remarkably well versed in all things having to do with fireplaces. Overall, a great, easy and pleasant experience.

Amazing service. They give you an estimate of when they come out and they are very precise. The team comes ready to work with a great attitude. The technicians name was Don, very professional, and informative. They swept the chimney very quickly and cleaned the place up after they were done. Denise was very responsive in setting up the appointment via texts, and when needed for clarifications, phone calls. I also appreciated the e-mail confirmations and the offer of an earlier appointment when it became available. The technician, Don, let me know when he was 30 minutes away and he was awesome! Don knew in a matter of minutes why the fireplace had been tagged by the Gas Co., had the necessary piece in his truck, and proceeded to take care of the issue. He was so pleasant, knowledgeable, and shared information that was/is important in using the fireplace. I highly recommend this company!

This company is one of the worst companies to work with. They are overpriced. Their work is NOT detailed oriented to say the least. All the workers are extremely rude, barely speak English and can not explain the steps of their work. Very messy and dirty work was done. I extremely regret choosing this company. Please, save your money and get your work done with reputable company that respects you and your money.

Hi I sincerely apologize. I made a mistake in my post recently. I had called a couple local vendors for a fireplace repair. One of them was not really a local vendor at all - but a regional dispatch for such repairs. They would not even tell me where they were located. Fireplace Solutions was not that vendor, but I mixed up the sites, and posted a negative review. Just want to erase any bad karma.

I had been having problems with my chimney for quite some time so I gave these guys a call. I appreciate the efficiency and quick work of their crew, and the extensive knowledge of their craft. I had some questions as they worked on the chimney and they were more than welcome to talk me through the technical details. The professionalism and is much appreciated and overall I am very satisfied with the service they provided.

I was very pleased with the results of their work. I had a fire in my chimney and it was in desperate need of repair. They were very professional, respectful, skilled and thorough. They showed up exactly on the time, every time, they scheduled a visit. Issac did a phenomenal job at making sure everything was completed as promised. What impressed me the most was the great care he took in making sure it was completed expertly and to my satisfaction. In my book, this is the only place to call.

I just got a fire place installed in my home and I have to come and share with you all, what an incredible job they did. The first time, I wasn’t so happy with the way it looked and they even allowed me to replace it with a different one and reinstall it. It was really nice of them. Super hardworking and nice gentlemen. Overall, great experience.

I contacted Fireplace solutions because I purchased a mid century modern home with a huge fireplace and needed it to be inspected. Sadly, they found LOTS wrong with my fireplace, but happily, they were able to provide the solutions to get my fireplace back into good working order. They wore masks as requested and they cleaned up their mess nicely. They were very proud of their work and said that it was the first time they had worked on a fireplace that size so they had needed to order some special parts before they came to repair it.A few weeks after the repair, I noticed that a small piece of the spark gate hardware was defective. So I contacted Fireplace solutions and sent them a picture of the defective hardware. They ordered a replacement and delivered it to me at no charge.I would recommend Fireplace solutions. They are good people and willing to work with you.I am looking forward to cooler weather so we can enjoy our now safe to use fireplace.

Feeling scammed.. Be sure to read all of the reviews! They seem to have a lot of 5 star reviews, but I had a terrible experience with this business and it seems there are quite a few others who have as well. Maybe some of the 5 star reviews are fake.I made an appointment to have them come to my house on 11/2/18. They gave me a four hour window (inconvenient, but seems like a standard in their industry, so no big deal). Anyways, the guy shows up and I show him the chimney and he takes a detailed look and goes ahead and starts cleaning it. After they had already cleaned it, they then decided to tell me that they realized my chimney had severe damage and was in desperate need of repair. I guess they only noticed that after they cleaned it??? So they tell me I still have to pay $160 and I reluctantly agreed. I paid $160 to have them clean a broken chimney.However, this is when things really got bad. After I pay $160, they promised theyd at least send a quote for the repairs. So get this.. I dont hear back until 11/15 (ALMOST 2 WEEKS LATER). And thats only because I emailed them. If I didnt reach out, who knows how long it would have taken to get my quote (which by the way was ludicrously expensive).Overall I feel very robbed by this business and I would suggest that you use another company for your fireplace and/or chimney needs.Sincerely,One dissatisfied customer

I had a negative experience with Fireplace Solutions. The employee was rude when I was looking for parking and the person I spoke to on the phone was unhelpful when I tried to schedule an appointment. Their customer service needs improvement.

Fireplace Solutions were fantastic from the initial free consultation and bid to the scheduling and final work. They turned my wood burning fireplace into a gas fireplace and we love it. They even came back when the inside of the fireplace needed extra tending to, all covered under the original contract.

Thumbs up for Fireplace Solutions fixing my gas fireplace! Two other companies over two years came out to get it to work - and each said it was unfixable. Jeff came, told me I had some ignition problem, took the part with him and within a week came back and installed it. Now this was right before Christmas and since then it has been working with no problems - YEAH! Thanks Jeff and you guys at Fireplace. Appreciate you fixing the unfixable. I recommend them because simply they know what they are doing.

Mind-blowing amazing dedication to the job and pristine results -- by Javier Gabriel of FS! He diligently worked all day bringing my condo up to speed after a faulty flu. The flu got fixed but the visuals are what I see. He painted my vaulted ceilings and mantle (which is also vaulted) as the issue was that the ceilings had smoke-stains from the flu issue. Request Javier by all means...hes like a wizard in leaving behind an impeccable job! The man is an artist and will barely accept the praise and compliments. Hes also a joy to have in your home. Just try -- youll see!

I looked up your business looking for fireplace tools and to look for wood burning stoves. It is a corrugated metal building with big black iron gates next to an auto repair shop. Pictures of your business show a nice showroom of fireplaces and associated items. I just wanted to see what you have. No window, no door. I found a button on the wall and pressed it and a woman answered and asked if I had an appointment. I said no and tried to ask about the showroom but was cut off. She asked what I was looking for and I said wood burning stove and then was cut off again before I could finish. So, I wrote the comment above. The place felt creepy, and she was not helpful. I could have been a customer today. I stopped at another place on the way home and I plan on continuing to shop for what Im looking for at other places.

We called Fireplace Solutions to install a gas log set, but after their inspection found a number of safety issues in our fireplace and chimney (we expected this would likely be the case based on the age of the house), we went with them to do the repairs. The repairs were pretty extensive, but each technician that we dealt with for the different phases of the project (inspection, installing a new flue liner, repairing the chimney crown, installing the gas log set) seemed highly knowledgeable, and all were very professional. I’m really grateful that they squeezed us into their busy schedule, because I wanted so much to have a working fireplace for Christmas. Thank you, Fireplace Solutions! We LOVE our new fireplace!!!

I understand why they have a high rating - I would’ve given them 5 stars initially, until I realized they were frauds.I paid FS almost $4,000 to address issues identified in my home’s inspection report, and it was seemingly done quickly and smoothly. Fast forward 1.5 years later when I’m selling my house, and the inspection report came back with all of the same issues — proving that the work I paid for had not been done. There is no way I would have known this otherwise, I just put all of my trust in them. When I called FS to rectify this problem, they refused to do the work without charging me $2,800. For work that I had already paid for! I was being told that the CEO was dictating the pricing, yet I couldn’t get him on the phone to speak with. I left numerous messages with their offsite coordinators (good luck trying to get in touch with their office - you never will!) and I’m still waiting for my call to be returned, a month later. I am disgusted by the way they run their business (if you can even call it that). Please be careful with who you trust. I urge you not to trust Fireplace Solutions.

While I was not able to use their service as I ultimately sold my home and gave the buyer a credit for my non-working gas fireplace, I did receive exceptional service from Denise. She walked me through the process and quoted me on a service call, potential repair and full refurbishment (estimates only of course). I was in a crunch and if I needed them to do the work to be able to sell the property I know I would have been able to count on them to get the job done. Two other companies did not bother to call back. Denise was knowledgable, professional and friendly to work with. After sending her the requested photos of my ancient gas fireplace she was able to get me the information I needed to make an informed decision if the buyer requested me to fix it rather than issue a closing statement credit.

Really good service and more than fair prices. I was given a referral to their company after I had a home inspection. Their technicians showed up on time and did their work and finished the same day which was impressive considering how hot it was outside. I now have a very nice looking chimney cap and they also did a nice job fixing all the cracks in the chimney. It’s looking brand new thanks to Fireplace Solutions. I recommend their work and their people.

Our home owners insurance wouldnt renew us because the outside of our chimney masonry was falling apart, the chimney sweepers came in and repaired our chimeny while following social distancing protocols in 1 day. Very professional, courteous, and tidy. They cleaned up the area and didnt leave any trash behind. A+++++ I will recommend to my family and friends.

SHADY BUSINESSI called once to ask for inspection, they got all my info and disappeared. I called second time and had to give all the info again because their system was down. On the third day they are finally reaching out to me, but cannot make a call so ask if we can text. So I ask when they can come and see the fireplace and he says there is nothing he can do if he comes but a video inspection would be a more efficient way to check it out. (What?)He says it will cost me $325 and they offer cash or Zelle 🤣 how do you ask for cash if you don’t even want to come get it??? SCAM

Im not sure where you start. My whole experience with your customer service has been an ordeal. I was referred to you by a friend and have told this friend not to refer your company to others. I dont understand how many times someone must call to get service without having to conduct an intake every time you call and have to wait until someone calls you back. Given modern technology, I would think you would have a more efficient and seamless process of requesting service or returning a call. I would have dropped your service earlier, but unfortunately, Jeff had done the preliminary assessment. Never again will I use your service.

I was more than satisfied with their work. Don and his helper were extremely professional and what they did was very clean thorough and quick. Don took the time to educate me on some of the things I didn’t know about how to care for my chimney. It was also a nice touch that before he came into my home he asked if I wanted him to wear shoe covers. I will continue to use them in the future and recommend their work.

I am extremely happy with the service I received from Fireplace Solutions. Denise answered my initial phone call. Her manner was professional, helpful and informative. She was able to schedule a technician within a few days of my calling. She followed up with an email confirming the appointment. Chad was my technician. He is outstanding! He called me when he was enroute to my home and arrived at the scheduled time. After cleaning my very dirty chimney, he conducted a thorough inspection and explained what repairwork he recommended. I received a detailed written quote from the office the next day. Chad then returned to my home to complete the needed repairs. He clearly takes pride in his work. My 70 year- old chimney and fireplace look great thanks to Chad! Denise made a follow-up phone call to ensure that I was satisfied with the work that was done. I highly recommend Fireplace Solutions. I gave only 4 stars because this was actually the second appointment and day off from work that we took for this service to be completed.  The first time, the technician that arrived (do not know his name) did not have the correct work order instructions for what he was supposed to be doing with our chimney damper (not his fault) causing us to have to schedule another appointment because he didn’t have the materials he needed.  I will say, this technician was very knowledgeable about our particular type of chimney and notified us that due to structural damage/cracks from the original manufacturing (verified), our fireplace should not be used due to high risk of fire occurring in the breastplate (also verified).  Good to know! Our intention was to redesign the firebox with glass stones and gas but our original damper frame was bent allowing cold air and wind to rush in. That being said, our second appointment went much smoother.  Shalom, the technician (5 stars), arrived on time, was also very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.  He was neat and took the time to show me exactly what he had done.  Now our “decorative” non-operating fireplace is weatherproof!

Came to provide a service for my company and fire place did not work the week after. Provided temporary fix and wanted me to pay for another service visit for them to fix what I had originally paid to be fixed. Seems like a scammy way of running a business to double charge for the same issue that was not fixed...

After these past rains I had a water leak and funny smells coming out of my fireplace. I called the chimney sweeper and they diagnosed the problem right away. The technician had everything in his truck on the spot to sell me a new cap and do the cleaning for me. They are clean, professional, knowledgeable, and priced right. Thank you so much!

After 40 years, my gas fireplace gave up the ghost. They sent Reza for a visual inspection first, because safety is the most important thing. (There is a low-hundreds charge for that.) Then they sent me a quote, which I accepted and which stayed the same through the whole process. They refurbished my whole fireplace unit, replacing it part by part, so its the equivalent of new! Reza took it away in the morning, vacuuming and cleaning the hearth area and the flue, and brought it back, refurbished and shiny, five hours later. Reza was prompt in arriving, quick in his work, thorough, skilled and professional. He even quickly painted the bottom plate a nice matte black. Upgrades are available, like remote ignition or a wall timer, but I didnt go for those and it was no problem. I will be inviting FS back for visual inspections every year so I can extend my units life as long as possible. I really appreciate their efficient system of invoicing, document transfer and distributed responsibility for communication. Have this work done NOW, while its still summer, because they will get very busy in the winter! Chestnuts roasting over an open fire, here I come!

EVERYWHERE I looked nobody could service/fix my gas fireplace! Found these guys and not only did I have them fix my regular fireplace. I had them refurbish this old gas appliance! replaced all it’s parts cleaned everything out and gave it a fresh paint job. They also hooked me up with this sick remote thanks again guys

Everyone was polite and helpful. They made recommendations over the phone to save us a service call. After trying those, we still needed a tech to come out. The tech took a look, took some pictures to assist in the explaination of the issue. He installed a smoke guard and gave us tips on using the fireplace. Fast, clean, easy, excellent communication.
