The best review we can offer is that 3 years after a first job, we rehired Overland. In 2016, we hired them to do a full interior remodel of a 1941 home we were buying. That project (on time and on budget) and our positive experience with Shahar Giladi and his team led us to another engagement in winter 2020. The Overland team removed a massive concrete planter attached to our house, repaired damaged wood window frames, replaced the windows, & repaired and painted the stucco. While they were here, they also tiled a floor, repaired some doors and trim. As before the team worked with high quality and efficiency.We refer Overland to friends and recommend them without reservation.

A year ago, we had a big remodeling project with our house in Santa Monica, where we had to move out of the house for several months. Shahar’s team was focused, and they actually got us back in the house on time, despite unexpected issues and frequent rain! Shahar is great to work with, and you really feel that he is on your side throughout the project. He is honest, communicates well, he puts your wants and needs first. His experience and great eye for design really helped make our remodel a success.

After getting a rave review from a friend who had Overland Remodeling completely gut her new house, we chose them to do a small bathroom with a shower in our house. The bathroom looks amazing and we loved Shahar in particular. He was so easy to communicate with, offered great advice, and was there to support me when I was feeling overwhelmed about decisions I needed to make. Highly recommend and would definitely use them for another home remodeling project!

I cannot say enough great things about Overland and Shahar. Almost every story Ive heard about a remodel includes a nightmarish tale of a contractor situation gone awry - I am so grateful that we did not experience anything like that! My wife and I were extremely pleased woth the remodeling work done by Overland Remodeling and Builders. We completely gutted and overhauled the inside of our kitchen / dining and living room to be an open floor plan. The work was done on time, in an extremely professional manner, and with great craftsmanship. Shahar and his team worked with us at every turn and made sure we were happy. We are very pleased with our new home interior and will be using him again in the future when it comes time to expand and build our addition we want.

Over the past four years, Shahar has (1) completely gutted and rebuilt our kitchen, with beautiful cabinetry and attention to detail; (2) repaired a stucco exterior wall that had deteriorated due to water leaks (this entailed rebuilding a large section of it); (3) installed windows and a door leading to our patio, new flagstone outside as well as a nice ipe-wood fence; (4) redone a fireplace with tile and marble; (5) installed a wide-board hardwood floor; and completely redone our two bathrooms, one of which involved the installation of large and very heavy porcelain slabs in the shower. He has been patient with us and our various designers, completely honest, and never cut corners with permitting or the building inspectors. We recommended him to our next door neighbor, who was also very pleased with the results.

We worked with Overland on a remodel in Playa del Rey. Shahar and crew were very professional, responsive, and efficient. His subs are skilled and tidy. We will definitely work with Overland again on future projects.

Shahar (Don) showed up for our first meeting with an enthusiastic knowledge of what could be, with a great design eye and a belief in his crew to do the job he promised us would be done. And what a job they did. The results are so much more than we ever expected! Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful! We love it! It all came together beautifully.And have I mentioned that they came in not only on time but on budget. I kept expecting that a final bill for an additional 10 – 20% would be coming my way, as that is what I was told to expect from most contractors. It didn’t happen. Shahar gave me a quote and the job was done as he quoted it would be. I was also given a 6 – 8 week window to complete the job. I expected it to probably run over by a week, maybe two or three. But it didn’t. It was complete in less than 6. I was amazed and delighted to say the least.Shahar’s integrity, from day one, was what we banked our money on. Our returns were more than expected.Thanks to all of ya’ll at Overland Builders for making our home, oh so much more beautiful and enjoyable.
